Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media poster terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi Klasifikasi Makhluk Hidup kelas VII SMPN 2 Sungai Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design.Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, kelas VII F sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII H sebagai kelas kontrol dengan teknik pengambilan sampel intact group. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen 16,66 sedangkan kelas kontrol 15,10. Hasil analisis uji U Mann-Whitney diperoleh Zhitung<-Ztabel(-2,60<-1,96), artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media poster dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Nilai Effect Size yang diperoleh sebesar 0,47 dengan kategori sedang sehingga model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media postermemberikan pengaruh sebesar 18,08% terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi Klasifikasi Makhluk Hidup kelas VII SMPN 2 Sungai Raya. Kata kunci: model Think Pair Share berbantuan media poster Abstract: This research aims to find out the effect of poster-aided Think Pair Share  learning model on student learning outcomes in the material of Living Organism Classification in the seventh grade of State Junior High School (SMPN) 2 Sungai Raya. The method used was the quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The samples are consisted of two classes, seventh grade class F as the experiment class and class H as the control class, while the sampling technique used was the intact group. The average student outcome in the experiment class was 16,66, while the control class 15,10. The results of the analysis using the U Mann-Whitney test show that Zcount< -Ztable (-2,60 < -1,96), meaning that there were significant differences between the learning outcomes of student taught using the poster-aided Think Pair Share and using the conventional learning model. The size effect value obtained was 0,47 in the category of moderate so that the poster-aided Think Pair Share learning model had an impact of 18,08% on the student learning outcomes in the material of living organism in the seventh grade of SMPN 2 Sungai Raya. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi kepadatan populasi manusia di kelas VII B SMP Negeri 2 Putussibau. Bentuk penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research) di kelas VII B SMP Negeri 2 Putussibau dengan siswa berjumlah 27 siswa yang terdiri dari 13 siswa perempuan dan 14 siswa laki-laki. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis berupa pilihan ganda dengan jumlah 10 soal untuk setiap siklus. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada siklus I yaitu 71,48 dan siklus II 80,00. Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 74,07 % dan pada siklus II sebesar 96,29 %. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada materi kepadatan populasi manusia pada siklus I sebesar 100% dan siklus II sebesar 100%. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar siswa setiap siklus telah mencapai indikator kinerja yang diharapkan. Kata kunci: STAD, Kepadatan Populasi Manusia.   Abstract: This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in human population density material in class VII B SMP Negeri 2 Putussibau. Forms of research conducted is a Class Action Research (Classroom Action Research) in class VII B SMP Negeri 2 Putussibau on students totaled 27 students consisting of 13 female students and 14 male students. The instrument used is written in the form of multiple choice test with 10 questions for any number of cycles. Based on the analysis of data, obtained an average student learning outcomes after implementation of cooperative learning model STAD in the first cycle are 71.48 and 80.00 second cycle. Completeness student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 74.07% and in the second cycle of 96.29%. Implementation of learning using cooperative learning model STAD in human population density material in the first cycle of 100% and a second cycle of 100%.The results of data analysis showed that student learning outcomes of each cycle has reached the expected performance indicators. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif STAD pada materi Archaebacteria dan Eubacteria terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X MAN 1 Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimental Design) dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas XF (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas XE (kelas kontrol). Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 20 butir. Dari hasil analisis data, diperoleh skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif STAD adalah 15.77, sementara skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan model konvensional adalah 14.25. Hasil ini memperlihatkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran STAD dengan yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIIIA SMP Negeri 22 Kota Pontianak pada materi gerak makhluk hidup melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIA SMP Negeri 22 Kota Pontianak tahun pelajaran 2014/2015, dengan jumlah 40 siswa yang terdiri dari 23 laki-laki dan 17 perempuan. Penelitian  tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian diperoleh: 1) Pembelajaran materi gerak makhluk hidup menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri di kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 22 Kota Pontianak pada siklus I terlaksana baik dengan penilaian keterlaksanaan 87,50%. Pada siklus II terlaksana baik dan mengalami peningkatan dengan penilaian keterlaksanaan 97,50, 2) Hasil belajar siswa pada materi gerak makhluk hidup melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri di kelas VIIIA SMP Negeri 22 Kota Pontianak pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 79,50 dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 31 siswa (77,50%). Sedangkan hasil penelitian pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 86,00 dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 38 siswa (95%).   Kata Kunci: pembelajaran inkuiri, gerak makhluk hidup Abstract: This study aims to improve student learning outcomes of class VIIIA SMP Negeri 22 of Pontianak on the motion of material living beings through inquiry learning model. This research is a form of action research. Subjects in the study of this class action is VIIIA grade students of SMP Negeri 22 Pontianak City 2014/2015 school year, the number of 40 students consisting of 23 male and 17 female. Classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. The results were obtained: 1) Learning material living beings motion using inquiry learning model in class VIII A of SMP Negeri 22 Pontianak City in the first cycle feasibility assessment done well with 87.50%. In the second cycle executed well and has increased by 97.50% feasibility assessment, 2) The results of students in the material movement through the living creatures in the classroom inquiry learning model VIIIA SMP Negeri 22 of Pontianak on cycle I gained an average of 79.50 with the learning outcomes of students who completed the number as many as 31 students (77.50%). While research on the second cycle gained an average of 86.00 with the learning outcomes of students who completed the number as many as 38 students (95%).   Keywords: inquiry learning, the motion of matter living things

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the creativity and learning outcomes and find out whether there is a positive relationship between the creativity with students the learning outcomes  who are taught with the project based learning (PjBL) model in class IX biotechnology material SMPN 1 Pontianak. This research is correlation research. The research sample is class IX G taken using purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was a test of creativity and a test of learning outcomes. The hypothesis was tested using Pearson moment product correlation analysis. The results showed (1) IX grade students of SMPN 1 Pontianak had moderate creativity with a percentage of 67%; (2) grade IX students of SMPN 1 Pontianak meet the KKM with a percentage of 33%; (3) there is a positive relationship between the creativity taught with the PjBL model and student learning outcomes in biotechnology material class IX SMPN 1 Pontianak. The relationship is shown through the correlation coefficient of rcount of 0.396 greater than rtable of 0.344. The coefficient of determination obtained by 15.68% indicates variations in learning outcomes can be explained through the creativity of the rest is influenced by factors not examined. The correlation coefficient obtained positive sign (+) shows the relationship between creativity in the direction of student learning outcomes. Creativity is high thinking so the learning outcomes are also high.  Keywords: Creativity, learning outcomes, PjBL

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membuat asesmen berbasis kelas melalui model pelatihan partisipatif dan dapat meningkatkan profesionalitas guru MIPA SMP di Kota Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dengan model partisipatif. Peserta yang terlibat berjumlah 36 orang guru, yang terdiri dari: 30 orang dari SMP Negeri, 4 orang dari SMP Swasta, dan 2 orang dari MTs. Negeri. Membuat asesmen berbasis kelas sesungguhnya telah dilakukan guru-guru MIPA SMP yang ada di Kota Pontianak. namun masih belum mengungkap aspek kemampuan yang ingin diukur pada kisi-kisi yang dibuat. sehingga akan mempengaruhi rumusan indikator soal yang dirumuskan. Setelah melakukan kegiatan pelatihan dengan menggunakan model partisipatif diperoleh 80,56% dapat dikategorikan cukup baik dalam membuat asesmen berbasis kelas, sedangkan hanya 19,44% dalam kategori cukup. Dalam menerapkan model pelatihan partisipatif pada pelaksanaan kegiatan ini. pelatih menggunakan metode diskusi, tanya jawab, dan presentasi. Melalui tiga komponen pelatihan partisipatif yaitu pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengembangan dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The study aims to document the medicinal plants and knowledge of the use of medicinal plants used by traditional healers in Bunut Village. This research was conducted in Bunut Village, Kapuas Subdistrict, Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan. In this study, we found a total of 31 species of medicinal plants used by traditional healers and those included in the 25 plants family. The most common family is Zingiberaceae. Herbal habitus is the most common use (51,61%). The plant part is leaves (53%) used by traditional shamans from Bunut Village. The most widely used method of processing plants is boiling (64,87%). The way of use that is often used is by drink (53%). Usage rules that are commonly used are 2x1 (65,63%). Doses of using medicinal plants are 1-3 strands/part (45%) and 4-6 strands/part (45%).Keywords: Bunut Village, Medicinal Plants, Sanggau Regency, Traditional Healer, Traditional Knowledge.

Abstract

The purpose of this analysis is to expose the issue about seizing liberty which is done by a slave in America and to know the contribution of the plot, setting, and character in revealing the issue of seizing liberty. This analysis is related to the psychoanalysis theory developed by Sigmund Freud and the concept of self-awareness by Crisp and Turner that are supported by the text and context based interpretation. The result of this analysis shows the efforts of a young slave woman to get free from slavery that can be seen from taking opportunities smartly and enhancing curiosity.

Abstract

This study is aimed to expose the issue about the ecological destruction which is done by people toward the nature and to know the contribution of poetic elements; irony, tone, and speaker in revealing the issue of ecological destruction. This analysis is related to the concept of eco-criticism by Garrard, Glotfelty, Michael P Cohen, and John Evelyn. The result of this analysis shows that the ecological destruction is done in two ways; exploitation and technological abuse.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning difficulties, percentages, and the factors that cause learning difficulties experienced by class X students of SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak in studying the scope of biology. This research method uses a case study, with the research subjects being students of class X MIPA 3. In collecting data, three instruments were used, namely diagnostic tests, questionnaires, and interviews. The results showed that the percentage of students' learning difficulties in class X SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak in studying the scope of biology was 66.42% with high criteria. For the causal factors that affect student learning difficulties, it can be seen from the percentage of internal factors of 66.13% and external factors of 69.16% in the high category. Thus, class X SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak experienced learning difficulties caused by internal and external factors.
