Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) as preschool education is actually a new educational institution in Indonesia when compared to the existence of Kindergartens (TK) under the authority of the Ministry of Education and Culture, as well as Raudhatul Atfal (RA) under the responsibility of the Ministry of Religion. These two preschool educational institutions have been active in educating the nation's children through playing while learning. The purpose of community service regarding the implementation of 3D learning media for PAUD about animals is to achieve PAUD children's understanding of tame animals or wild animals. The approach or method used is Service Learning (SL). The Service Learning service method is one approach in teaching that combines academic goals in an effort to raise awareness in solving problems directly. Implementation of community service on the application of learning media about animals for PAUD students get satisfactory results. This is because when the process of applying the learning media, almost 80% of students take part in learning with enthusiasm. They were very enthusiastic about listening to the explanation from the community service maker because of the learning media that was packaged like a mini zoo so that students felt interested.

Abstract

The community service carried out aims to improve numeracy skills for early childhood in Rejosopinggir village. Service activities in Rejosopinggir Village, Tembelang District, Jombang Regency, East Java. The implementation of community service activities will be carried out in December 2021. The implementation method for implementing this community service activity includes the Participatory Action Research method. Action and participatory methods are carried out in mentoring parents and children about increasing children's abilities in certain fields. The community service activities carried out concluded that the use of TAPASAM teaching aids (paired and connected ropes) could improve numeracy skills for early childhood. The existence of assistance to children in Rejosopinggir village by introducing learning media in the form of TAPASAM props (paired and connected ropes) can improve numeracy skills for early childhood in Rejosopinggir village. The choice of learning media will be very influential in exploring children's achievements so that the TAPASAM media (paired and continuous ropes) is interesting in activating children's learning creativity. Abstract

Community service activities through increasing understanding of female fiqh, with the following objectives: (1) Increasing the ability and understanding of educators in terms of material about menstruation, istikhadoh and childbirth. (2) Increase and develop the participants' understanding of female problems in everyday life. This approach to the implementation of community service activities includes lectures and questions and answers. The results of community service activities can be concluded as follows: (1) Assisting the role of teachers in assisting the teaching and learning process at MTs Al Hikmah, Pucangsimo village, Bandar Kedungmulyo district. (2) Assisting students in the learning process at MTs Al Hikmah, Pucangsimo village, Bandakedungmulyo District.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy is very important. This is because mathematical literacy emphasizes the ability of students to analyze, argue about ideas effectively in solving mathematical problems they encounter (OECD, 2009, p.19). Judging from various things, the ministry of education and culture has actually anticipated it by making several curriculum changes. However, in the period 2000 until now there have been three types of curriculum that have been implemented, namely the 2004 curriculum, 2006 curriculum and 2013 curriculum. And by mastering students' mathematical literacy, individuals will be able to reflect on mathematical logic to play a role in their lives, communities, and society. Mathematical literacy makes individuals able to make decisions based on a constructive mathematical mindset. Realistic mathematics learning presents a contextual problem that can be related to local excellence-based educational games. The main goal is that students have high mathematical communication skills towards mathematics. Selin, the introduction of local excellence in educational games to students through learning that can be used as a way to grow the character of students to the local culture of the nation of Indonesia. Advances in technology and information that are not balanced with strong filters will affect the lifestyle of a foreign country. In this development using procedural development model. The development model in this study led to the development model of Sugiyono (2015). However, in this study not all steps are applied, this is because the research conducted is still on a limited scale with no cover into the wider research. Therefore it stages of development begins by doing 1. Planning with identification of potential problems, 2. Create a new design, 3. Validate the design, 4. Design revision, 5. Validate the design and the last 6. Product trials.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design appropriate character education-based teaching materials to help students learn and train math skills. This research uses Research and Development method adapted in ADDIE model development. The subjects of this study were grade VIII of students at MTs Al-Ihsan Kalikejambon school year 2020/2021. The data collection techniques are interviews and questionnaires. Researchers designed a teaching material in the form of teaching materials based on character education. The results of this study showed that (1) Validation of character education-based teaching materials developed by expert assessments obtained a percentage of 80.4% with a fairly valid category. (2) The practicality of character education-based teaching materials by the assessment of math teachers obtains a percentage of 83.63% with a very practical category. (3) The response of students to teaching materials based on character education gets a percentage of 82.94% with a very practical category. Based on the results of the above study, the researchers concluded that character education-based teaching materials are declared valid and practical based on the assessment of experts and learners, so that character education-based teaching materials are eligible for use in mathematics learning.

Abstract

Salah satu kegiatan yang telah dicanangkan oleh Pemerintah adalah Gerakan Literasi Nasional (GLN) sesuai Permendikbud Nomor 23 Tahun 2015 tentang Penumbuhan Budi Pekerti. Pemerintah berupaya dengan mengubah kurikulum nasional dan merancang program-program yang dapat mendongkrak kemampuan 6 dasar dimensi literasi yaitu baca tulis, numerasi, sains, digital, finansial, serta budaya dan kewargaan melalui Gerakan Literasi Sekolah. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini yaitu Meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa agar minat baca siswa menjadi lebih berkembang. Mitra pengabdian adalah siswa di MI Roudhotul Ulum I Desa Brangkal. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 25 Oktober 2020. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini mendatangkan narasumber dari salah satu dosen di Universitas KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dibantu oleh 5 orang mahasiswa untuk mengkoordinir peserta pada kegiatan sosialisasi. Pada kegiatan sosialisasi, dilakukan tahapan observasi untuk melihat kepuasan siswa terhadap materi yang diberikan kepada mereka. Tahapan observasi dilakukan melalui penyebaran angket kepuasan kegiatan kepada siswa peserta sosialisasi. Hasil yang diperoleh antara lain: a) memberikan tambahan wawasan dan pengetahuan serta kemampuan literasi bagi siswa MI Roudhotul Ulum I, b) menumbuhkan minat baca dan antusias siswa, dan c) mengembangkan kemampuan siswa dalam menggunakan IPTEK secara bijak dan sesuai kebutuhan. Peningkatan gerakan literasi sekolah ini dapat berjalan dengan baik jika melibatkan semuar warga sekolah (guru, siswa, orang tua/wali murid) dan masyarakat sebagai bagian dari ekosistem pendidikan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini antara lain untuk mengetahui penerapan metode Baca Kitab Al-Miftah dipondok pesantren sabilul huda dan untuk mengetahui pentingnya kitab Al-Miftah lilulum dipondok pesantren Sabilul Huda. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Pondok Pesantren Sabilul Huda Jombang. Program Pengabdian ini diikuti oleh santri yang mengikuti kelas Madrasah Diniyah. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian kegiatan di Pesantren ini meliputi metode ceramah dan praktek. Hasil dari pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini sebagai berikut: (1) Pada umumnya semua program dapat terlaksana dengan baik, antusias santri dalam mengikuti kegiatanbimbingan baca Kitab Al-Miftah sangat baik sekali, sehingga program kerja yang kami laksanakan sudah sesuai dengan kondisi yang ada. (2) Suksesnya program pengabdian ini karena didukung dan ditunjang oleh kerja tim yang baik, baik dari tim maupun para santri di Pondok Sabilul Huda. (3) Dalam bidang pendidikan khususnya bimbingan baca kitab Al-Miftah banyak santri-santri yang sangat antusias, ini menjadi acuan bahwasanya pengabdian menjadi jembatan motivasi santri. (4) Dengan adanya pengabdian di pesantren, dapat mempererat tali silaturrahmi dan meningkatkan ketakwaan kepada Allah SWT. (5) Program-program yang telah dilaksanakan sangat membantu santri dalam mempelajari ilmu Nahwu dan Shorof yang dikemas dalam Kitab Al-Miftah, serta banyak hal positif yang dapat diambil sebagai bekal dan pengalaman yang berharga.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the increase in the mathematical reasoning and communication skills of junior high school students by applying the auditory intellectually repetition (AIR) learning model. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a design pretest-posttest control group desaign. The population of this study were all students of class IX MTs Diponegoro in the 2021/2022 school year. The type of sample used in this study was random assignment. As for the research sample, two classes were selected, namely class IX A as the control class and class IX B as the experimental class. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and tests. The observation sheet was used to determine the suitability of learning in the classroom with Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model. The test instrument used in this study was a description question to measure students' mathematical reasoning and communication abilities. The data obtained were processed with two statistical data processing programs, namely SPSS and Microsoft Excel. The results showed that the increase in the reasoning ability of the experimental class was in the medium classification and the control class was in the low classification. Meanwhile, for the improvement of mathematical communication skills, the experimental class is in the medium classification and the control class is in the low classification. So that the auditory intellectually repetition (AIR) learning model can improve students' mathematical reasoning and communication skills. Abstract

Seiring dengan berkembangnya zaman, semua bidang dalam segala aspek kehidupan ikut berkembang termasuk di dalamnya adalah bidang pendidikan. Pelajaran matematika di sekolah merupakan pelajaran yang bersifat abstrak, sehingga diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang tepat untuk mengajarkan matematika agar peserta didik lebih mudah memahami konsep. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan pendidik di MTsN 14 Jombang bahwa peserta didik cenderung pasif dan kurang termotivasi untuk mengikuti pembelajaran khususnya pembelajaran matematika, karena mereka beranggapan  matematika  itu sulit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui keefektifan penerapan Strategi Pembelajaran Student Teams Heroic Leadership dengan pendekatan Open Ended ditinjau dari motivasi belajar siswa. (2) Mengetahui keefektifan  penerapan Strategi  Pembelajaran Student Teams Heroic Leadership dengan pendekatan Open Ended ditinjau dari prestasi belajar siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Preexperimental design jenis one group pretest-posstest. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII MTsN 14 Jombang, sedangkan sampel penelitian yang diambil adalah siswa kelas VII A MTsN 14 Jombang yang berjumlah 38 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) penerapan strategi pembelajaran Student Team Heroic Leadership dengan pendekatan Open Ended ditinjau dari motivasi belajar efektif dan (2) penerapan strategi pembelajaran Student Team Heroic Leadership dengan pendekatan Open Ended ditinjau prestasi belajar efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of Problem Based Learning in developing students' character in statistical material. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental type of research. This study used all students of class VII A and VII B of SMP Negeri 2 Sumobito which were divided into two groups, namely class VII A as the experimental group and class VII B as the control group. The instruments used in this study were tests, questionnaires. The test is used to determine the student's ability while the questionnaire is to determine the student's character in Problem Based Learning. The prerequisite test used in this study used a normality test and a homogeneity test with a = 0.05. Hypothesis testing in this study used independent sample t-test on IBM SPSS.21 for windows. The results of the study indicate that the Problem Based Learning model has a positive and significant effect on the development of students' character
