Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara sistematis kondisi penyelenggaraan pendidikan di SD Budi Mulia 1 Pematangsiantar melalui kegiatan observasi yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Program Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) Universitas HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar. Aspek yang dikaji meliputi profil sekolah, visi dan misi, kurikulum dan proses pembelajaran, fasilitas sekolah, sumber daya pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, data peserta didik, struktur organisasi sekolah, prestasi sekolah, serta peraturan dan budaya sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi langsung, wawancara terbatas, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SD Budi Mulia 1 Pematangsiantar telah menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka dengan model pembelajaran Deep Learning secaraoptimal, manajemen sekolah telah berjalan secara terstruktur dan sistematis, ditandai dengan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi program sekolah yang jelas. Proses pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara aktif dan berpusat pada siswa, dengan pemanfaatan metode dan media pembelajaran yang variatif untuk mendukung ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Selain itu, budaya sekolah di SD Budi Mulia 1 Pematangsiantar tercermin dalam nilai-nilai disiplin, tanggung jawab, kerja sama, dan sikap religius yang diterapkan secara konsisten dalam kegiatan sehari-hari. Studi observasi ini memberikan pengalaman nyata bagi mahasiswa PPL dalam memahami praktik manajemen dan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar, serta menjadi bahan refleksi untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional calon pendidik.

Abstract

Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL), Mathematics, Learning Results The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the Talking Stick learning model on Mathematics learning outcomes in class V students at UPTD SD Negeri 122399 Pematangsiantar. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research. The research design that will be used is an experiment, in the form of Pre- experimental Design which uses a "one group pretest-posttest design" design and the sample in this research is class students at UPTD SD Negeri 122399 Pematangsiantar, totaling 20 students. The instrument used in this research is a test. The data was tested using analysis and assisted by SPPS Version 26. The results of research hypothesis testing which had a significant influence on this research and the data that had been tested, were stated to be seen from the analysis of data obtained from the average results of the experimental class in the pretest (47,75) and posttest (82,25). Results The research obtained tcoun> ttable (12,089>1,729) with a significance level of 0.05. So it can be concluded that the Talking Stick learning model has an influence on Mathematics learning outcomes for class III students at UPTD SD Negeri 122399 Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi ekosistem kelas V SD Negeri 091544 Pardomuan. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini mencakup seluruh siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dan termasuk dalam jenis penelitian pra-eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian One Group Design Pretest - Posttest. Peneliti menggunakan instrumen berupa 5 butir soal uraian yang berkaitan dengan materi Ekosistem. Instrumen ini digunakan untuk menilai pengaruh model problem based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V pada pembelajaran IPAS, maka data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Setelah data penelitian terkumpul, dilakukan analisis menggunakan Indeks Aiken’s V, Uji N- Gain, Uji Normalitas, Uji Homogenitas, dan Uji Hipotesis.Analisa N-Gain menunjukkan bahwa nilai hasil perhitungan gain kelas eksperimen diperoleh rata - rata pretest sebesar 31,75 dan rata - rata posttest sebesar 81,25. Sehingga diperoleh gain 0,73 Artinya, kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan hasil kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan kategori sangat tinggi (g) ≥ 0,7. Hal tersebut dibuktikan juga dengan uji hipotesis diperoleh sig 0,000 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak Ha diterima. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model problem based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi ekosistem kelas V SD Negeri 091544 Pardomuan tahun ajaran 2025/2026

The resea.rch results obta.i.ned were tha.t there wa.s a.n i.ncrea.se i.n student lea.rni.ng outcomes, na.mely wi.th a.n a.vera.ge posttest of 86.73 whi.le the pretest wa.s 49.78 wi.th a. hypothesi.s test of 21,930. When compa.red wi.th the posttest score, students experi.enced a.n i.ncrea.se i.n lea.rni.ng outcomes, na.mely 36.95. Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to investigate the effect of a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model grounded in the local wisdom of Simalungun Marharoan Bolon on the Natural Science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at UPTD SD Negeri 094155 Rambung Merah. The study is motivated by the need to integrate culturally relevant approaches to improve elementary science achievement. Methodology – The research employed a pre-experimental method using a One-Group Pretest–Posttest Design. The population comprised all fourth-grade students, with a purposive sample of 28 students selected based on class availability and feasibility. The intervention consisted of implementing the Marharoan Bolon-based PBL model during science instruction. Research instruments were tested for validity, reliability, item difficulty, and discriminating power. Data analysis included normality testing, paired sample t-test, and N-Gain analysis to determine learning improvement. Findings – The results indicate a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes after the intervention. Statistical analysis showed t_count = 15.29, which exceeded t_table = 2.052, with a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05. These findings confirm that the Marharoan Bolon-based PBL model had a significant positive effect on students’ science achievement. Novelty – This study integrates a modern instructional model (PBL) with indigenous local wisdom, demonstrating the effectiveness of culturally responsive pedagogy in elementary science education. Significance – The findings benefit elementary teachers, curriculum developers, and education policymakers seeking culturally grounded strategies to enhance science learning outcomes.
