Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of interpersonal communication in improving leadership skills and identify factors that influence its effectiveness. Good communication helps leaders build trust, increase motivation, and strengthen relationships with the team. The research method used is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR), by collecting and analyzing studies from academic databases such as Google Scholar, Scopus, and ScienceDirect. The literature analyzed includes aspects of communication in leadership, such as listening skills, providing feedback, and utilizing technology. The results of the study indicate that effective interpersonal communication contributes to improving leadership skills, building team loyalty, and creating a productive work environment. The identified barriers include lack of leader communication skills, differences in communication styles, and work environment disruptions. Therefore, strategies such as communication training, an open organizational culture, and adaptation of digital communication are needed. In conclusion, good interpersonal communication is the main foundation of effective and influential leadership. By mastering the right communication skills, leaders can improve the effectiveness of decision making and encourage the achievement of organizational goals more efficiently.

Abstract

Dasar untuk membentuk karakter anak, mulai dari cara menerapkan pola komunikasi ligkungan yang efektif. Dalam penerapannya, masalah muncul untuk pasangan desa yang baik, orang tua dan anak -anak yang berkaitan dengan penerapan pengasuhan anak. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pembesaran dan pemahaman tentang pola komunikasi orang tua dalam menerapkan pendidikan karakter pada anak -anak. Kegiatan dilakukan dalam bentuk program implementasi kuliah kerja nyata (KKN) melalui bantuan dengan orang tua, komunitas dan siswa sesuai dengan bidang program ilmiah/kerja. Hasil dari kegiatan layanan masyarakat ini adalah, dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan orang tua dan pemahaman tentang pola komunikasi yang efektif kepada anak -anak dalam pendidikan karakter dari sudut pandang berbagai program kerja. Implikasi dari kegiatan layanan masyarakat (KKN) adalah bahwa materi dan praktik program kerja dapat membantu manajer/peralatan desa, terutama kader Posyandu dalam menerapkan prinsip -prinsip pengasuhan anak dalam kegiatan interaksi sosial mereka sehingga orang tua dan anak -anak dapat mengatasi masalah perkembangan anak, kekerasan terhadap anak -anak, kekurangan gizi dan peningkatan kreativitas.

Abstract

Islamophobia, a growing concern worldwide, has been increasingly shaped by the spread of misinformation and negative stereotypes through social media platforms. In Indonesia, where Islam is the predominant religion, the rise of Islamophobic discourse on social media has created significant challenges for the Muslim community and interfaith relations. This study explores the role of social media in shaping public opinion about Islamophobia in Indonesia. The research investigates how social media platforms, particularly Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, contribute to the formation and dissemination of Islamophobic narratives, and how these narratives influence public perceptions of Islam and Muslims. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining content analysis of social media posts with surveys of Indonesian internet users to assess their awareness of Islamophobic content and its effects. The findings reveal that social media platforms play a critical role in amplifying Islamophobic discourse, often without sufficient counter-narratives or fact-checking. The study concludes that social media has a dual role, both as a platform for disseminating negative stereotypes and as a potential space for countering Islamophobia through education and positive engagement.

Abstract

This study examines corporate communication related to the decision to make mass layoffs in the television industry using a critical discourse analysis approach. The main focus of the study is to understand how the narratives of efficiency and social exclusion are framed and constructed in print and online media discourse. Data were collected from various news reports and official corporate statements during the period of mass layoffs. The results of the analysis show the dominance of the efficiency narrative used by companies to legitimize the decision to make layoffs, with an emphasis on restructuring and business optimization. However, alternative discourses emerging from the media and trade unions reveal the reality of social and economic exclusion experienced by affected workers, which is often hidden from the official corporate narrative. This study confirms that corporate communication functions as a tool for legitimization and image management, but tends to ignore the crucial social dimension of exclusion. These findings reinforce the importance of a critical approach in understanding the dynamics of power through language in the context of mass layoffs. This study also highlights the role of the media as an arena for discourse battles between corporate interests and workers' rights.

Abstract

Currently the business world is facing major changes in industry, changes that make all kinds of businesses face difficult challenges. The change in question is the presence of the digitalization phenomenon and changes in consumer interest in consumption or shopping. Various types of businesses are having difficulty dealing with this phenomenon, especially retail businesses that focus on bookstores. Many bookstores, both independent and part of large chains, have to compete with online-based digital bookstores. Many consumers appreciate Gramedia, because of its complete book collection. This is what makes Gramedia a leading retail company and book publisher in Indonesia. Currently, no business can survive without adapting to technological developments. Therefore, this research aims to understand how the Marketing Public Relations strategy of the Gramedia Matraman bookstore is able to adapt to changes in consumer behavior amidst the dynamic digitalization phenomenon. They have not only succeeded in maintaining relationships with their loyal consumers both through physical stores and digital platforms. This research uses a qualitative approach, which describes each information obtained with a clear explanation. The type of approach used is descriptive, where descriptive research aims to explain solutions to existing problems based on the data collected. The data collection techniques used by researchers in research are interviews, observation, literature study and documentation. The research results show how Gramedia Matraman's Marketing Public Relations (MPR) strategy is implemented in maintaining its existence

Abstract

His study aims to analyze the marketing public relations strategy implemented by Genio in maintaining brand awareness through influencer endorsement. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings indicate that Genio's marketing public relations strategy focuses on the Three Ways Strategy, consisting of Pull, Push, and Pass Strategies. In the Pull Strategy, Genio utilizes influencer endorsement to convey product information through storytelling content. In the Push Strategy, Genio provides exclusive discount codes through influencers to encourage audience purchases. Lastly, in the Pass Strategy, Genio builds relationships with the audience through a content- based campaign called "Genio Spreads Cleanliness." This campaign aims to raise audience awareness of the importance of environmental cleanliness while strengthening Genio's brand awareness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how social media contributes to building the popularity of Japanese pop culture among the younger generation, particularly within the cosplay community of Yagaro Japanese Club. Using a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach, this research explores strategies for utilizing social media, its impact on community identity, and its contribution to the popularity of Japanese pop culture. The findings reveal that social media platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, play a significant role as promotional and interaction tools for the cosplay community. Through features such as short videos, stories, and collaborations with influencers, this community has successfully expanded the reach of Japanese pop culture both nationally and internationally. Additionally, social media not only facilitates promotion but also strengthens social bonds among community members and supports individual creative expression.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach, namely an approach that details one by one the main objects in the study which include the Film, the Film "Walid" / "Serial Bidaah", Sufism Teachings. The data used in this study are secondary data that researchers obtained from various credible sources such as books, scientific magazines, and various other sources commonly used in every research. The data obtained were analyzed through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data sampling, and drawing conclusions. The result in this article show First, the presence of the film "Walid"/"Serial Bidaah" can create a negative perception of Sufism, and it is suspected that those who distributed this film have a track record of negative sentiment towards Sufism. This film is suspected of aiming to propaganda so that Sufism is not popular and even ostracized by society. Second, the film can serve as a critique and preventative measure to avoid easily believing individuals who use religious.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemudahan pembayaran menggunakan QRIS, komunikasi pemasaran, digital marketing terhadap keputusan pembelian Gen Z di Kota Bandar Lampung. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah pendekatan kuantitatif yang meneliti populasi dan sampel tertentu. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian dan analisis data bersifat kuantitatif (statistik). Hasil penelitian secara parsial bahwa kemudahan pembayaran menggunakan QRIS, komunikasi pemasaran, dan digital marketing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian Gen Z di Kota Bandar Lampung. Hasil penelitian secara simultan bahwa kemudahan pembayaran menggunakan QRIS, komunikasi pemasaran dan digital marketing memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian Gen Z di Kota Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the representation of female superheroes (heroines) in Marvel Studios films using Ruth Wodak's Critical Discourse Analysis approach. By examining three films: Captain America: The First Avenger, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and The Marvels, this study explores how the construction of gender and female power is presented in the narrative, dialogue, and visualization of female characters. Using Wodak's model, which focuses on historical, social, and political contexts, this study reveals how female representations are influenced by specific ideologies and social changes in the entertainment industry. The analysis reveals that despite the strengthening of women's roles as central and powerful characters, dominant narratives persist that subtly reproduce gender stereotypes and inequalities. This study demonstrates the importance of critically interpreting the representation of women in popular media, as well as how the construction of women's power and identity in fictional spaces also reflects gender dynamics in real society.
