Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Tujuan utama dari penelitin ini adalah meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik di kelas VII.1 SMP Negeri 7 Makassar. Tindakan yang diambil adalah menerapkan metode pembelajaran Game Based Learning dengan fokus utama pada peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran IPA. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari minggu pertama bulan Mei hingga minggu terakhir bulan Mei pada tahun ajaran 2023-2024, dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 24, terdiri dari 10 laki-laki dan 14 perempuan. Data diperoleh dari dokumen peserta didik dan hasil angket untuk mengukur peningkatan motivasi belajar. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus pembelajaran dengan setiap siklus melibatkan pemberian angket motivasi belajar IPA kepada peserta didik untuk mengevaluasi peningkatan motivasi belajar mereka. Desain penelitian Tindakan kelas ini menggunakan Desain penelitian tindakan kelas yang disarankan oleh Kurt Lewin. Model penelitian tindakan kelas ini terdiri dari empat tahap utama: Perencanaan, Tindakan, Pengamatan, dan Refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terjadi peningkatan motivasi belajar dari prasiklus, siklus I hingga sikus II.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative descriptive research that aims to analyze the value of natural frequency and amplification factor, as well as knowing the level of resonance and vulnerability of WTT Maccini Baji Railway Bridge. This research was conducted on the Maros-Barru Railway Line, especially the WTT Maccini Baji Railway Bridge, Lau District, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province. Data collection was carried out at 8 points (4 points on the bridge and 4 points on the ground around the bridge) with two measurement times at each point, day and night. Processing of microtremor data using Geopsy software with the HVSR (Horizontal to Vertical Spectral Ratio) method to obtain HVSR curves that produce natural frequency and amplification values. The results showed natural frequency values ranging from 2,36 – 6,64 Hz and amplification values ranging from 2,67 – 15,92. The resonance index value of the Maccini Baji WTT Bridge obtained ranges from 30,68% – 181,49% and is included in the low resonance classification which indicates the bridge has a solid structure and is safe from potential damage due to resonance. While the seismic vulnerability index is obtained with a value of 2,07 – 77,35 which shows that the high seismic vulnerability classification is more dominant at the point located on the ground.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P3) sebagai acuan dalam efektivitas kegiatan kokurikuler fisika berbasis kearifan lokal. P3 adalah konsep yang menekankan pengembangan karakter yang sejalan dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila, seperti beriman, bertaqwa kepada Tuhan yang Maha Esa dan berakhlak mulia, gotong royong, kebhinnekaan global, mandiri, bernalar kritis, dan kreatif. Kearifan lokal berperan penting dalam pembelajaran fisika untuk menjembatani ilmu pengetahuan modern dengan nilai-nilai budaya setempat, sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan tes tertulis yang diberikan kepada 31 orang peserta didik kelas X Menengah Atas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 67,74% peserta didik memiliki P3 yang berada pada kategori belum berkembang pada setiap dimensi kecuali dimensi mandiri. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan adanya kegiatan kokurikuler fisika yang lebih sistematis dan terencana, dengan memperhatikan P3 dan kearifan lokal setempat sebagai pedoman. Dengan demikian, diharapkan kegiatan kokurikuler fisika berbasis kearifan lokal dapat menjadi salah satu strategi pembelajaran yang tidak hanya meningkatkan kompetensi akademik peserta didik, tetapi juga membentuk karakter peserta didik yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Kata kunci: Profil Pelajar Pancasila, Kokurikuler Fisika, Kearifan Lokal

Abstract

Kondisi cuaca di Indonesia belakangan ini mulai tidak menentu, hal ini merupakan dampak dari perubahan iklim dimana terjadi pemanasan global. Perubahan kondisi cuaca yang tidak menentu ini pastinya memberi dampak bagi kehidupan seluruh mahluk hidup, terutama manusia. Berdasarkan dampak tersebut maka perlu adanya pendidikan kebencanaan hidrometeorologi dan mitigasinya untuk disosialisasikan dan dilatih kepada masyarakat, dimana tempat yang tepat untuk memperoleh pengetahuan sejak dini terkait kebencanaan adalah sekolah. Oleh karena itu maka tujuandari pengabdian ini untuk mensosialisasikan ke guru-guru selaku pendidk di SMAN 5 Takalar tentang pentingnya pendidikan hidrometteorologi serta mitigasinya untuk meminimalisir dampak yang ditimbulkan dari bencana tersebut. Metode yang digunakan berupa ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab dengan para guru. Hasil yang dicapai adalah mitra memiliki pengetahuan tambahan mengenai bencana hidrometeorologi dan mitigasinya dimana dampak dari perubaham iklim khususnya perubahan musim kemarau dan musim hujan yang berkepanjangan membuat aspek-aspek kehidupan akan terganggu maka perlu adanya penanganan yang baik dari pemerintah dan masyarakat untuk mengupayakan meminimalisir dampaknya jika hal tersebut terjadi.

Abstract

Pancasila education shapes students’ character and national identity. Integrating local wisdom in co-curricular activities strengthens Pancasila values in modern learning. Despite the flexibility of co-curricular activities in reinforcing physics concepts and the Pancasila Student Profile (P3), educators rarely utilize or neglect them entirely. This study aims to improve P3 and learning satisfaction through physics co-curricular activities based on Makassarese local wisdom. This study used a mixed-methods sequential explanatory design. The quantitative method used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest type to measure changes in P3, and the qualitative method used an open questionnaire to measure students’ learning satisfaction. This activity integrates the 21st-century learning approach with the practice of a’bulo sibatang through physics measurements by 31 high school students. The study showed a significant improvement in students’ P3 (p < 0.05), with an N-Gain of 48.39% in the low category and 51.61% in the medium category. All students expressed positive learning satisfaction towards the Makassarese local wisdom-based physics co-curricular activities, although some experienced difficulties in certain aspects. This study concludes that co-curricular physics activities based on Makassarese local wisdom effectively improve students’ P3 and positive learning satisfaction. In addition, this study also has an impact on preventing the erosion of Makassarese cultural identity and improving students’ academic understanding.

Abstract

The world of education plays an important role in improving the quality of human resources through quality learning activities, namely through the development of adequate teaching materials to provide clear direction related to the competencies to be achieved. This research is development research that aims to produce integrated physics teaching materials, such as Virtual Laboratory PhET Simulation, that are valid, practical, and able to improve students' critical thinking skills. The development model for integrated physics teaching materials, the Virtual Laboratory PhET Simulation, is a 4D learning model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Based on the results of data analysis, the following conclusions were obtained: 1) integrated physics teaching materials Virtual Laboratory PhET Simulation are declared valid and suitable for use with an expert agreement index value of 0.72 for the aspect of content suitability, 0.67 for the aspect of the presentation, 0.73 for the aspect of language, and 0.68 for the aspect of graphics; 2) integrated physics teaching materials Virtual Laboratory PhET Simulation reviewed from the response of practitioners, namely physics subject teachers, are in the very good category; 3) The effectiveness of the integrated physics teaching material PhET Virtual Laboratory Simulation reviewed from students' critical thinking skills obtained an average N-Gain value of 0.44 and is in the moderate category. Students experience increased critical thinking skills in interpretation, analysis, inference, evaluation, and explanation. It can be interpreted that the integrated physics teaching materials that the Virtual Laboratory PhET Simulation developed effectively improve students’ critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This research aims to develop valid physics teaching materials based on Islamic values, assess their practicality, and analyze their effectiveness in improving scientific literacy skills. This research was conducted at MAN 2 Bulukumba with 27 eleventh-grade class A students and 9 physics teachers as practitioners. This research employed the 4D development model: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The materials' validity was evaluated using Aiken’s V, focusing on content, presentation, language, and graphics, and were deemed valid and suitable for use. Practitioners rated the materials as very practical across all assessed aspects. Effectiveness was analyzed through pre- and post-implementation tests of students’ scientific literacy, yielding an N-gain of 67% (effective criteria). The study concludes that physics teaching materials based on Islamic values are valid, practical, and effective in enhancing students' scientific literacy. Integrating Islamic values into physics learning strengthens students' understanding of scientific concepts while fostering a holistic perspective that connects science with spiritual and moral dimensions. This integration also increases students' motivation by demonstrating the relevance of physics to their religious teachings, making science learning more engaging. Furthermore, it facilitates contextual teaching of physics concepts, particularly in environments rich in Islamic values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komponen rumah adat Saoraja Lapinceng yang dapat dijadikan sebagai materi kesetimbangan benda tegar. Jenis penelitian yaitu kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang dianalisis dengan cara data reduction, data display, dan verivication atau conclution drawing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Tiang penyangga (Aliri') yang dapat dijadikan materi titik berat, titik berat rumah disebut posi bola yang memiliki makna pusat segalanya yang sesuai hasil perhitungan titik berat badan rumah terletak di G=(11,75m);(5,5 m);(2,5 m). (2) Pondasi umpak (Pallangga) dijadikan materi momen inersia benda tegar dengan bentuk segi empat mengikuti falsafah Sulapa Appa, momen inersia dari pallangga sebesar I = 416,67 M (3) Pattolo' dan Arateng dapat dijadikan contoh kesetimbangan benda tegar dari penerapan balok kantilever, hasis analisis diketahui bahwa pattolo' dan arateng memiliki persamaan kesetimbangan sebagai berikut (4) Tangga (Addengeng ) dapat dijadikan contoh kesetimbangan benda tegar dari penerapan kesetimbangan pada tangga, tangga memiliki sudut 40° yang merupakan sudut yang ideal untuk tangga dan memiliki persamaan kesetimbangan sebagai berikut (5) Timpa' Lajja dapat dijadikan contoh untuk pemahaman konsep momen gaya yang memiliki kemiringan susunan susunan susunan kemiringan 30̊ dan menandakan tanda kekuasaan balusu yaitu tellu boccoe, momen gaya timpa' lajja sebesar.

Abstract

Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport is an airport with a unique topography, making the process of rainfall formation at this airport very dynamic. To ensure safe flight operations at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport, rainfall forecasting is needed using fuzzy logic methods, with input data influencing rainfall formation, such as precipitable water, relative vorticity, and divergence. In this study, the data used for applying fuzzy logic can be divided into three types: training data (for developing the fuzzy logic method), validation data (for validating the fuzzy logic method), and testing data (for testing the fuzzy logic method). Therefore, validating the fuzzy logic method to obtain results and accuracy of rainfall events, as well as testing the fuzzy logic method for rainfall event forecasting, are the goals of this research. The precipitable water, relative vorticity, divergence, and rainfall data in this study are divided into three types: training data (2010 – 2021), validation data (2022 – 2024), and testing data (2025 – 2030). The validation results for 2022 – 2024 were dominated by non – rain events, with 7.051 occurrences, while there were 948 occurrences of rain events. The accuracy of the fuzzy logic validation method was found to be 78.58% during 2022 – 2024, allowing the fuzzy logic method to be applied for forecasting rainfall events in 2025 – 2030, beginning with the creation of input data using the moving linear regression algorithm. The forecasting results for 2025 – 2030 using the fuzzy logic method were dominated by non – rain events, with 15.232 occurrences, while there were 2.296 occurrences of rain events.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning styles and physics learning outcomes of class X science students at MAN 1 Polewali Mandar and the relationship between the two variables. This research is a quantitative descriptive research employing survey design. Data collection were carried out by distributing online learning style questionnaires using google forms and giving cognitive tests in the form of multiple choice to 124 students. To help determine the influence of learning styles toward learning outcomes of physics, inferential analysis in the form of Pearson product moment correlation analysis was used. The results showed thatthe most of the students in class X science at MAN 1 Polewali Mandar had visual learning styles, and only few of them had kinesthetic learning styles and auditory learning styles. Some students were not categorized in one specific learning style as they are not dominant in any of the three.In addition, majority of the female students had a visual learning style, while majority of the male students had kinesthetic learning style. Furthermore, the students’ physics learning outcomes were in medium category. Finally, there was a weak relationship between learning styles and students' physics learning outcomes.
