Abstract

Penelitian ini menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah atau Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas ketercapaian pemahaman konsep fisika peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 1 di SMAN 3 Wajo Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pra-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Dalam penerapan model PBL diintegrasikan dengan simulasi PhET pada materi Elastisitas dan Hukum Hooke. Untuk mengukur ketercapaian pemahaman konsep fisika digunakan instrumen tes yang telah dikembangkan sebanyak 22 butir soal berbentuk pilihan ganda. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep fisika sebelum dan setelah diajar menggunakan model PBL mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dan berada pada kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan modul pembelajaran fisika berbentuk flipbook bercirikan Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan model Nieveen dan Plomp. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu pengisian lembar validasi, angket repon guru dan peserta didik serta instrumen pretest dan postest. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa validasi modul menghasilkan kofisien Gregory 1,0 yang menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan telah valid. Kepraktisan modul berdasarkan respon guru dan respon peserta didik. Respon guru menunjukkan respon yang sangat positif dan respon peserta didik menunjukkan 42,3% memberi respon sangat positif, 50% positif dan 7,7% cukup positif. Efektivitas modul berdasarkan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik. Diperoleh bahwa terdapat perbedaan skor pretest dan postest yang signifikan pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan nilai N-Gain 0,2. Maka  disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran fisika berbentuk flipbook yang bercirikan keterampilan proses sains yang dikembangkan valid, efektif dan praktis

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui miskonsepsi dan penyebab miskonsepsi peserta didik SMA pada konsep usaha dan energi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus tahun ajaran 2023/2024 di SMA Hasanuddin Gowa.  Sampel   dipilih  menggunakan   simple random sampling,   yaitu   teknik pengambilan sampel secara acak tanpa memperhatikan strata dalam populasi, sehingga diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 61 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif, yaitu penelitian yang dimaksudkan untuk menyelidiki keadaan atau kondisi, yang hasilnya dilaporkan dalam bentuk laporan hasil penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu instrumen two tier test berupa soal pilihan ganda dua tingkat dengan membagi pemahaman konsep peserta didik dalam kategori memahami, miskonsepsi dan paham konsep yang terdiri dari 12 butir soal dan juga dilakukan wawancara peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis instrumen two tier test, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdeteksi miskonsepsi pada semua sub konsep usaha dan energi, yaitu usaha, teorema usaha energi kinetik, energi potensial, dan hukum kekekalan energi mekanik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase miskonsepsi sebanyak 45% peserta didik.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa pelatihan pembuatan game edukasi berbasis powerpoint bagi guru SMA Negeri 2 Campalagian. Manfaat yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah 1) guru memiliki pengetahuan tentang media powerpoint, 2) guru memiliki keterampilan dalam membuat game edukasi yang dapat dibuat menggunakan powerpoint. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 2 Campalagian dengan peserta sebanyak 20 guru. Hasil kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan menunjukkan semua guru mampu mengoperasikan dan emmanfaatkan powerpoint sebagai media untuk membuat game edukasi.

Abstract

This research is experimental to analyze the description and differences in the average results of physics learning in groups taught by the cooperative learning model of the TAI, STAD, and TGT types of class X MIPA students at SMA Negeri 3 Makassar. The population in this study were all students in class X MIPA SMA Negeri 3 Makassar as many as 6 classes, the sample was class X MIPA 1 taught the TAI cooperative learning model, class X MIPA 5 taught the STAD type cooperative learning model, and class X MIPA 6 is taught using the TGT cooperative learning model. The instrument in this study was a physics learning achievement test with multiple choice objective questions of 15 items on work and energy, momentum and impulse, and simple harmonic vibrations. The data analysis technique using One Way Analysis Of Variance. Based on the results of the study, (1) the physics learning outcomes using the TAI type cooperative learning model were in the very high category, the STAD and TGT types were in the high category, (2) there was a significant difference in the mean physics learning outcomes between the groups being taught TAI, STAD, and TGT type cooperative learning models (3) the physics learning outcomes of the group taught the TAI type cooperative learning model were significantly higher than the group taught the STAD type cooperative learning model, (4) the group physics learning outcomes that were those taught the TAI cooperative learning model were significantly higher than the group taught the TGT cooperative learning model, (5) the physics learning outcomes of the group taught the STAD type cooperative learning model was significantly higher than the group taught the cooperative learning model type TGT‎.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Cooperative learning model types TAI, STAD and TGT.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPantai Sampulungan merupakan salah satu pantai di Kabupaten Takalar, Sulawesi Selatan sebagai kawasan wisata. Aktivitas pengunjung di pantai ini dapat mempengaruhi kualitas pasir besi. Dengan demikian, perlu dilakukan investigasi sifat magnetik pasir besi dan hubungannya dengan logam berat. Studi ini bertujuan menganalisis sumber mineral magnetik serta hubungan suseptibilitas magnetik dan logam berat pasir besi Pantai Sampulungan. Pengukuran parameter magnetik seperti suseptibilitas magnetik menggunakan alat Bartington Susceptibility Meter dilengkapi sensor MS2B. Metode XRF digunakan untuk identifikasi logam berat. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mineral yang terkandung pada pasir besi bersifat ferimagnetik. Sumber mineral magnetik pada pasir besi dominan berasal dari proses pelapukan batuan secara alami atau litogenik. Hubungan suseptibilitas magnetik dan logam berat memiliki korelasi positif kuat. Kata kunci: suseptibilitas magnetik; logam berat; korelasi positif; litogenik; pantai sampulungan. ABSTRACTSampulungan Beach is one of the beaches in Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi, as a tourist area. Visitor activities on this beach can affect the quality of the iron sand. Thus, it is necessary to investigate the magnetic properties of iron sand and its relationship with heavy metals. This study aims to analyze the magnetic mineral resources and the relationship between magnetic susceptibility and the heavy metal iron sand of Sampulungan Beach. Measurement of magnetic parameters such as magnetic susceptibility uses a Bartington Susceptibility Meter equipped with an MS2B sensor. The XRF method is used to identify heavy metals. The results show that the minerals contained in the iron sand are ferrimagnetic. Iron sand's dominant magnetic mineral source comes from natural or lithogenic rock weathering processes. The relationship between magnetic susceptibility and heavy metals has a strong positive correlation. Keywords: magnetic susceptibility; heavy metal; positive correlation; lithogenic; sampulungan beach.

Abstract

Abstrak. Aktivitas pada daerah aliran Sungai Jeneberang menimbulkan permasalahan seperti pencemaran. Dengan demikian, perlu dilakukan monitoring kondisi lingkungan Sungai Jeneberang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis morfologi mineral magnetik sedimen Sungai Jeneberang, sehingga dapat diketahui sumber mineral magnetiknya. Metode yang digunakan adalah Scanning Electron Microscopy-Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy (SEM-EDS). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa bulir magnetik pada sedimen Sungai Jeneberang berbentuk oktahedral tidak sempurna, spherule tidak sempurna, bersudut, dan tidak beraturan. Topografinya tidak rata dan bertekstur kasar. Bulir magnetik yang berbentuk oktahedral dan bersudut merepresentasikan bulir alami dari mineral magnetik dan bulir berbentuk bulat (spherule) merepresentasikan bulir magnetik akibat hasil oksidasi/pembakaran dan proses diagenesis karena kehadiran material antropogenik. Kandungan unsur Fe dan O yang dominan serta sedikit kandungan Ti mengindikasikan sedimen Sungai Jeneberang mengandung mineral titanomagnetit.  Kata Kunci: sedimen, mineral magnetik, morfologi magnetik

Abstract

This program was in the form of training on the use of matlab for MGMP IPA Region III Polman. The benefits obtained from this PkM activity were 1) teachers had knowledge about the concept of matlab, 2) teachers had skills in using matlab . This PkM partner is made up of 32 teachers from MGMP IPA Region III Polman. The results of the activities that have been carried out show that the dominant teacher was able to operate and utilize matlab as a learning medium.

Abstract

Research has been carried out on the distribution of chlorophyll-a in the waters of Bone Bay during high wave events based on the parameters of sea surface temperature, wind speed and ocean currents. The aim of this research is to analyze parameters related to high waves which influence chlorophyll-a concentrations in the waters of Bone Bay. Chlorophyll-a patterns in Bone Bay waters were studied based on Aqua MODIS satellite data for chlorophyll-a data and ECMWF for wind speed, sea surface temperature and ocean current data. The average value was determined using Aqua MODIS and ECMWF satellite data for 10 years from 2011 to 2020. These parameters were analyzed to determine the correlation with chlorophyll-a. The calculation results show that sea surface temperature and wind speed decreased after high waves, while ocean currents and chlorophyll-a increased after high waves in Bone Bay waters. The correlation between chlorophyll-a and wind speed is 0.15, with sea surface temperature -0.44, and with ocean currents -0.26. Spatially, high concentrations of chlorophyll-a are found in the coastal waters of the South Sulawesi region with chlorophyll-a concentrations reaching 0.4-5 mg/m3. Temporally, high chlorophyll-a concentrations occur after high wave events with an average chlorophyll-a concentration of 0.32 mg/m3.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the potential for wind energy in Kolaka Regency using ERA5-Land reanalysis data from the output of the European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) model, which has a spatial resolution of 9 km with hourly temporal resolution for the period of 2001 to 2020. This research also compared the quality of ERA5-Land reanalysis wind speed data on data from nearby meteorological stations using statistical assessment methods. The analysis results reveal that the highest average wind speed is discovered at a height of 80 to 150 meters with a range of 4.99 to 5.93 m/s. The spatial distribution map of wind power density indicates that the energy potential at a height of 80 to 150 meters can reach 60 to 170 W/m2. The largest wind energy potential in Kolaka Regency can be generated in the DJF period (December-January-February) with the highest average monthly wind power density in January and the JJA period (June-July-August) with the highest average in July. In general, Kolaka Regency can be classified as an area with first-class wind energy potential, so it tends to be more suitable for the development of small-scale power plants. The suitable locations for developing small-scale wind power plants in Kolaka Regency are the southern Pomalaa coast and the Tanggetada coast because both locations have better wind energy sources than other areas.
