Consumer profile and consumer behavior were carried out using descriptive statistics analysis and cross tabulation analysis. Meanwhile, to measure consumer preferences for herbal toothpastes, logistic regression analysis (logit) was used. This survey was conducted on 459 respondents in the Greater Jakarta area. The results of the analysis show that in general the customers of toothpaste products are women aged 25-44 years and have more than 3 family members. The majority of customers are well educated segments, work as private workers and belong to the SES A group. Based on cross tab analysis, it is known that gender (p value = 0.037) and age (p value = 0.025) have a significant correlation in choosing herbal toothpaste. These results were confirmed in the logit analysis where women prefer herbal toothpastes than men. Based on consumer psychological factors, most customers believe in buying toothpaste at offline stores, except for those who are under 30 years old. However, for consumers who live in DKI Jakarta, they prefer to buy toothpaste through online channels compared to those who live outside DKI Jakarta. Abstract

Transit-oriented development (TOD) aims to create added value by optimizing regions around transportation hubs. It emphasizes the integration of mass transit systems with non-motorized transport while reducing the use of motor vehicles through the development of dense, mixed-use areas. This research examines the role of MRT Jakarta Co. in building a business ecosystem that supports TOD area creation. The objective is to identify key stakeholders and strategies that influence TOD implementation. This research uses Soft System Methodology (SSM), with data collected from seven MRT Jakarta Co. employees and expert interviews. Rich Picture analysis is used to visualize the interactions and challenges in the system. The results show that collaboration among MRT Jakarta Co., developers, government, associations, and landowners is essential. Barriers include regulatory limitations, inconsistent policies, and funding constraints. The Rich Picture reveals a complex structure of roles, norms, and power dynamics that shape TOD success. The research concludes that regulatory support, stakeholder engagement, and clear coordination mechanisms are critical for effective TOD development. These findings can guide policymakers and urban planners in enhancing transit-based city planning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a seaweed cooperative business model based on the Cooperative and Mutual Enterprise Business Model Canvas (CME-BMC) to enhance the cooperative’s competitiveness and adaptive capacity in supporting small-scale farmers. The research utilizes a qualitative case study of a seaweed cooperative in West Java, integrating the CME-BMC with the VRIO, PESTEL, and SWOT frameworks through literature review, in-depth interviews, and structured questionnaires. The findings show that the current business model is aligned with cooperative principles, but it still has weaknesses that need to be strengthened for the cooperative to effectively compete and grow. The cooperative's key resources and capabilities include integrated post-harvest and processing facilities, experienced members, democratic governance, and effective management of the value chain across both upstream and downstream activities. The external environment presents both opportunities and challenges within the industry, including policy support, land allocation issues, climate risks, price fluctuations, and downstream regulations. Nine development strategies were formulated and translated into a new, more integrated and member-oriented business model. This study offers practical and theoretical contributions by demonstrating how the integration of the CME-BMC with strategic analysis can produce a more adaptive, sustainable, and competitive cooperative business model.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate an optimal investment policy for the Dual-Account Old-Age Savings (JHT) program managed by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. The surge in early withdrawals since 2020 has shifted JHT’s role from long-term savings to a short-term liquidity instrument, creating potential asset–liability mismatches. The Asset Liability Management (ALM) framework is applied to assess asset–liability alignment, while the Modern Portfolio Theory (MPT) ensures efficient risk–return trade-offs. Strategy prioritization employs the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) with 10 experts and five key criteria. The results indicate Asset–Liability Balance (0.25) and Liquidity (0.24) as dominant factors. The 70:30 allocation (Main:Supplementary Account) is identified as the optimal strategy (weight 0.67), balancing short-term liquidity resilience and long-term fund sustainability, consistent with ALM–MPT principles and post-P2SK policy direction

Abstract

This study aims to conduct an analysis environment business and find out the elements that play the most important role in assessing the development of value creation at PT MRT Jakarta for the creation of TOD. The expert team will identify, assess, and map various strategic assumptions that appear in the SAST strategic assumption quadrant diagram and Interpretative Structural Modeling. The assessment of each expert from the experts will be taken as a team assessment by determining the statistical mode for each factor for each category. The most important elements are the commitment of government leaders in the development of KBT, associations, regulations that are not yet synchronized, clear authority in the development and management of KBT, completeness of related regulations, the DKI provincial government's support in the use of BMD. Integrated Planning Policy: To create a successful transit-based area, a policy is needed that integrates transportation planning with spatial planning. The local government and PT MRT must work together to develop a plan that considers aspects of land use, transportation, and public services.

Abstract

Background: Employer non-compliance in BPJS Employment contribution payments poses a systemic risk to Indonesia's employment social security system, as persistent arrears threaten financial sustainability. The Sulawesi–Maluku Regional Office consistently ranks among the highest contributors to national receivables, recording IDR 158.84 billion in 2023 and IDR 157.27 billion in 2024 despite a declining number of delinquent entities. This divergence, particularly at the Makassar Branch Office, indicates a structural arrears problem that uniform compliance approaches have failed to address. Objective: This study aims to analyze the compliance conditions of Business Entities with contribution arrears at the Makassar Branch Office, identify key determinants of non-compliance, and formulate adaptive risk-based strategies to improve employer compliance in the Sulawesi–Maluku region. Methods: This study applies a quantitative approach using descriptive analysis of receivable trends (2022–2024) and binary logistic regression based on survey data from employers with outstanding contributions. Strategic priorities were formulated using SWOT analysis and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), supported by Focus Group Discussions (FGD). Results: Non-compliance was found to be structural and sectoral rather than random. Logistic regression analysis (n = 120) indicates that financial capacity is the only statistically significant determinant of non-compliance (OR = 3.47; p = 0.003), while perceptual and administrative factors show no significant effects. Conclusion: Non-compliance is primarily driven by financial constraints, highlighting the need for integrated, risk-based compliance strategies emphasizing governance strengthening and segmented billing to improve contribution recovery.

Abstract

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the transformation of the financial sector by significantly altering consumer behavior. This shift led to the rise of digital banks as replacements for traditional banks. However, some digital banks have underperformed compared to their initial performance or after undergoing mergers and acquisitions.Purpose: This study aims to analyze the financial performance of traditional banks before their digital transformation, providing insights to inform alternative strategies for digital banking.Design/Methodology/Approach: The research examines the financial performance of nine banks (four digital banks and five traditional banks) from 2019 to 2022. The performance metrics include liquidity ratio (Loan-to-Deposit Ratio, LDR), solvency ratio (Equity-to-Asset Ratio, EAR), profitability ratios (Net Interest Margin, NIM, and Return on Assets, ROA), and activity ratio (Total Asset Turnover, TATO). Data were collected online from the Financial Services Authority website, and the analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics, parametric tests (Paired Samples t-Test), and non-parametric tests (Mann-Whitney U Test).Findings/Results: The study finds that after transitioning to digital banks, there is a significant increase in the solvency ratio (EAR) but a notable decline in profitability (ROA) and activity (TATO). Compared to traditional banks, digital banks exhibit lower LDR and ROA but higher EAR and NIM.Conclusion: The study highlights key financial performance aspects associated with digital bank transformation. The findings suggest that enhancing financial performance requires improving liquidity, solvency, profitability, and activity ratios. Strategies include engaging with the digital ecosystem, acquiring new customers through innovation, consumer-focused financing, and strengthening core capital.Originality/Value (State of the Art): This research uniquely applies multiple financial performance parameters to compare digital banks before transformation with traditional banks in Indonesia. It identifies potential strategies to address challenges faced by digital banks, enhancing academic understanding and offering practical solutions to improve their financial performance.
