Abstract

This research aims to get answers to discussions regarding the existence of STAIN Madina PPL students, regarding students' learning motivation and the role of PPL students in increasing learning motivation. This research is qualitative field research. The research subjects were students at SMP Negeri 5 Panyabungan using observation, interview and documentation instruments. Most of them feel unprepared and lack confidence when carrying out teaching practices. However, they do not face difficulties in mastering the teaching material. PPL STAIN Madina students have a positive influence on students' learning motivation. seen from the responses of students who were happy with the presence of PPL students. Efforts to play an optimal role in increasing students' learning motivation are carried out by creating good communication with students, implementing appropriate learning strategies and establishing good cooperation with tutors and supervisors.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to find out how religious leaders may help to avert conflict in a multicultural society. This study took place in Medan, Indonesia's North Sumatra Province. To conduct the study, the author employs a qualitative method in the form of a case study. Direct interviews with religious leaders from Islam, Christianity, Protestantism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, religious organization leaders, and government officials were used to gather data. The Miles and Huberman approach was used to examine the interview data thematically. According to the findings of the study, religious leaders make three efforts to prevent conflict: I use online applications such as YouTube, Facebook, websites, and zoom meetings to disseminate religious teachings, and ii) using online applications such as youtube, Facebook, websites, and zoom meetings to disseminate religious teachings. iii) They hold regular meetings, both online and offline, to debate religious moderation and conflict prevention; iii) develop collaboration between religious harmony forums and security forces in the prevention of religious disputes. Religious leaders' involvement in a multicultural society plays a vital role in conveying information about religious moderation. Furthermore, the findings of this study show that religious leaders were successful in mediating religious moderation in order to create a moderate and tolerant community. Religious leaders' functions of monitoring and direction in conflict resolution are able to maintain religious moderation and avert disputes in Indonesia's multicultural society.

Abstract

Abstract: Mastering Turat book is one of the competencies of pesantren graduates. However, modernization poses hurdles to pesantren administrators who wish to preserve the tradition of studying Turat literature. Therefore, a custom is required to demonstrate the significance of studying the Turat book. This study aims to investigate, analyze, and provide a model for developing pesantren customs in the context of preserving the Turat legacy. This qualitative study employs a survey and descriptive analysis. The results of the study find that the model for developing the custom of learning the Turat book is implemented in three stages. The first stage is the value reinforcement of using the halaqoh learning paradigm. Secondly, the contribution to the structure and community of the book of Turat learners should be formed. Thirdly, the learners should actively participate in the Turat book contest. Additionally, the modernization of learning activities should take the form of methods and digital libraries. Abstrak: Kompetensi lulusan pesantren salah satunya adalah menguasai kitab turats. Arus modernisasi melahirkan tantangan bagi pengelola pesantren untuk menjaga tradisi pembelajaran kitab turats. Untuk itu diperlukan sebuah budaya sebagai manifestasi nilai pembelajaran kitab turats. Penelitian ini berupaya mengeksplorasi, menganalisis dan menemukan model penciptaan budaya pesantren dalam menjaga tradisi kutubut turats. Penelitian berjenis kualitatif survey deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model penciptaan budaya pembelajaran kitab turats dilakukan melalui serangkaian tahapan. Pertama memperkuat nilai melalui model pembelajaran halaqoh. Kedua membentuk struktur dan komunitas kitab turats. Ketiga aktif mengikuti perlombaan kitab turats. Adapun modernisasi pembelajaran mengarah kepada metode dan perpustakaan digital.

Abstract

Cyberspace is examined in this study as an example of innovation in Islamic boarding schools in Veranda of Mecca, Padang Panjang. This study is restricted to six Islamic Boarding Schools located in Padang Panjang: the Padang Panjang Putra Thawalib, the Muhammadiyah Kauman, the Veranda of Mecca Integrated Islamic Boarding School, the Thawalib Putri Islamic Boarding School, and the Puteri Diniyyah College. This study approach makes use of qualitative research, and approaches for observation, documenting, and interviewing are used to acquire data. The findings revealed that a number of Islamic boarding schools made use of cyberspace as a teaching innovation during the pandemic, including the usage of robotics, YouTube, WhatsApp, Zoom, and other social media platforms, in addition to using lab space as a resource for learning innovations. The less competent signal, the fact that some professors still do not grasp technology, and the insufficient internet allowance are some of the suggestions and difficulties that educators and students encounter. Furthermore, a lot of students still do not comprehend distance learning, and there is still a lack of student enthusiasm in studying remotely.

Abstract

The research aimed to determine the effect of using comics on class IV science subjects at MI Model Panyabungan. The experimental method yielded the desired results. The resulThe post-test results showed an average value of 79.63 for students in class IVA (control class), and an average value of 81.43 for students in class IVB (experimental class), indicating improved and increased The paired sample t-test yielded the sig value. The 2-tailed t-test resulted in a sig value of 0.360 > 0.05, indicating that if the sig value exceeds 0.05, we accept Ho and reject Ha. This implies that the use of comic media does not impact or enhance the performance of students in class IV MI Panyabungan Model.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of: 1) finding out how the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) learning model is implemented in class V mathematics subjects at SD Negeri 086 Dalan Lidang. 2) find out whether the application of the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) learning model can improve mathematics learning outcomes for students in class V of SD Negeri 086 Dalan Lidang. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). The subjects were 36 class V students at SD Negeri 086 Dalan Lidang. The classroom action research (PTK) design uses the Kemmis and Taggart model which consists of 2 cycles which include planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques use tests, documentation and observation. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. The results of the research show that: 1) The implementation of learning in Mathematics learning by applying the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) learning model went well in accordance with the plans that had been prepared by referring to the steps of the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) learning model. 2) Student learning outcomes in cycle I were in the good category with a completion percentage of 47.22% with an average of 64.027 and increased in cycle II to a very good category, namely a completion percentage of 80.55% with an average of 80.41. So it can be said that student learning outcomes can be improved through the application of the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) learning model. By implementing the Realistic Mathematic Education learning model, it can help students solve problems faced in mathematics subjects so that each student's learning outcomes can improve.

Abstract

This research aims to compare the formation of students' religious character in Integrated Islamic Middle Schools (SMP IT) and State Junior High Schools (SMP Negeri). This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation studies. The research results show that SMP IT tends to be more structured in its efforts to build religious character through the integration of a curriculum based on Islamic values, religious extracurricular programs, and a school environment that is conducive to the habituation of Islamic values. In contrast, State Middle Schools focus more on general character education programs mandated by the government, without an approach that specifically addresses religious character. This research concludes that there is a significant difference in the approach to forming religious character between SMP IT and SMP Negeri, where SMP IT is more effective in forming the religious character of students. Discussion Research shows that the formation of religious character in SMP IT students is more integrated through a value-based curriculum -religious values, extracurricular activities, and a supportive school culture. In contrast, State Middle Schools tend to rely on Islamic Religious Education (PAI) lessons as the main means without reinforcement through structured school programs. School environmental factors and family support also influence differences in the implementation of character formation in these two types of schools. The impact of this research provides insight to school managers and policy makers about the importance of a holistic approach in forming religious character, especially through synergy between the curriculum, school culture and human participation old.

Abstract

Sekolah Islam sering dianggap sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang mampu membentuk anak menjadi individu yang lebih mandiri. Persepsi ini diperkuat oleh fokus pendidikan yang tidak hanya pada ilmu pengetahuan, tetapi juga pada pembentukan karakter yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai Islam. Penelitian ini mengkaji peran sekolah Islam, khususnya pesantren dan madrasah modern, dalam menumbuhkan kemandirian siswa melalui aktivitas terstruktur yang menekankan kedisiplinan dan tanggung jawab pribadi. Orang tua di daerah pedesaan seperti Desa Ranjo Batu memilih sekolah ini meskipun biayanya relatif lebih tinggi, karena percaya bahwa pendidikan Islam memberikan manfaat moral dan spiritual sepanjang hayat. Integrasi rutinitas harian, praktik keagamaan, dan interaksi sosial mengajarkan siswa untuk mengatur waktu dan bertanggung jawab atas tindakan mereka, mempersiapkan mereka menghadapi tantangan masa depan. Artikel ini menyoroti peran unik sekolah Islam dalam menyeimbangkan pertumbuhan intelektual dengan pembentukan karakter, serta kontribusinya dalam menciptakan individu yang mandiri dan berbudi pekerti luhur.

Abstract

Curriculum refers to a comprehensive compilation of scientific disciplines studied systematically in an educational institution, which impacts increasing student proficiency. The Indonesian Madrasah Competency Assessment (AKMI) was introduced by the Indonesian Ministry of Religion in 2021 to evaluate educational progress and student achievement in the curriculum. AKMI can be included in every subject taught at school. This research aims to analyze the increase in literacy of madrasah students through the integrated AKMI program in the education curriculum. The research method used is survey research. Data was collected from an online assessment held by AKMI organizers at the 2022 national seminar of the KSKK Directorate of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia. The survey instrument used was AKMI questions, validated and proven reliable, with quantitative data analysis techniques using a descriptive approach. The research results show that AKMI is a tool for madrasa teachers to evaluate students' skills in achieving the goals outlined in the curriculum. By utilizing these results, teachers can identify areas that need improvement and implement strategies to improve learning outcomes. Then, integrate learning outcomes (CP) in the curriculum with competency achievements (CK) at AKMI during the learning process at MI, MTs, and MA-level madrasas. AKMI is not a curriculum but can be integrated into the curriculum.

Abstract

This study analyzes the interest of students at SD Negeri 179 Tambangan in being active in class. It also aims to analyze the factors that influence students' interest in using interactive and participatory learning methods. The method employed is a survey of 100 students from different classes. Data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of closed and open-ended questions regarding learning experiences, interest in classroom activities, and preferences for the applied learning methods. The analysis shows that the majority of students are very interested in active learning, with 75% of respondents stating that discussion activitiesandeducationalgamesenhancetheirmotivation.However,thereare also challenges, such as a lack of equipment and limited time to implement these programs. These results provide valuable insights for educators in makingpolicies to develop more effective learning strategies. An increase in student interest is expected to improve the quality of education at SD Negeri 179 Tambangan.
