Abstract

Hutan Mangrove terletak di Kabupaten Trenggalek, Jawa Timur telah mengalami penurunan spesies diakibatkan perilaku konsumtif masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan mangrove. Keberadaan mangrove sangat penting untuk menjaga kesetabilansumberdaya laut khususnya perikanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Indeks Nilai Penting (INP) pada tiga zonasi, melakukan pendekatan kepada masyarakat sekitar terkait partisipasi dalam konservasi mangrove, dan membuatstrategi konservasi hutan mangrove berbasis Tanam Rawat Monitoring. Metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, pengambilan data mangrove random sampling dan pengambilan data wawancara kepada masyarakat sekitar purposive sampling. Analisis vegetasi menggunakan Indeks Nilai Penting, analisis partisipasi masyarakat menggunakan Pressure State Response. Hasil penelitian zonasi A didominasi Sonneratia alba (99,84%) kategori pohon, Sonneratia alba (89,03%) kategori anakanpohon, Rhizophora mucronata (80,74%) kategori semai, zonasi B didominasi Sonneratia alba (120,57%) kategori pohon, Sonnratia alba (57,55%) kategori anakan pohon, Sonneratia alba, Ceriops tagal, Rhizophora apiculata (32,47%)kategori semai, zonasi C didominasi Lumnitzera racemosa (132,40%) kategori pohon, Xylocarpus granatum (113,03%) kategori anakan pohon, Lumnitzera racemosa (60,28%) kategori semai. Pendekatan partisipatif dan kemitraan kepadamasyarakat sekitar melalui Pokmaswas Kejung Samudera berjalan lancar. Kesimpulannya konservasi berbasis Tanam Rawat Monitoringdi kawasan mangrove Cengkrong lebih efektif untuk diterapkan,  konservasi mangrove tersebut diharapkan dapat menjadi role model masyarakat untuk menjaga hutan mangrove dan sumberdaya laut.

Abstract

Keterbatasan lahan TPA merupakam masalah penting di Kabupaten Magetan yang harus diselesaikan mengingat semakin sulitnya mendapatkan lahan yang baru. Dengan semakin bertambahnya jumlah penduduk maka timbulan sampah yang masuk TPA Milangasri pun semakin bertambah sehingga akan semakin memperpendek umur TPA. Dengan ditetapkannya Peraturan Daerah No. 1 Tahun 2016 tentang Pengolahan Sampah Organik dengan Sistem Pengomposan maka apabila bisa diterapkan secara optimal akan mengurangi jumlah sampah yang masuk ke TPA. Komposisi sampah Kota Magetan 52,59 % terdiri dari sampah organik yang terbagi ke dalam sampah organik basah 34,73 % dan organik kering 17,86 %. Dengan tingginya jumlah sampah organik maka akan memberi peluang untuk dapat dilakukan pengomposan. Pada penelitian ini saat tidak dilakukan pengomposan maka pada Tahun 2025 volume sampah terkompaksi atau beban landfill sebesar 129.030,57 m3 dan luas lahan TPA yang dibutuhkan sebesar 16.129 m2. Saat dilakukan pengomposan maka beban landfill berkurang menjadi 83.869.87 m3 dan luas lahan TPA yang dibutuhkan adalah 10.484 m2. Dengan demikian pengaruh sistem pengomposan bisa mengurangi beban TPA sehingga lahan yang dibutuhkan lebih sedikit dan dapat membuat umur TPA menjadi lebih lama.

Abstract

Technological Advancements Have Significantly Transformed Biology Education, Particularly Through The Use Of Technology-Based Learning Media. This Study Aims To Identify Trends In The Application And Assess The Effectiveness Of Technology-Based Learning Tools In Enhancing Student Learning Outcomes In Biology. Employing A Systematic Literature Review Approach, The Article Analyzes Ten Selected Studies Published Between 2014-2024 And Indexed In International Databases. The Synthesis Of Results Indicates That Interactive Simulations, Augmented Reality (Ar), Virtual Reality (Vr), Mobile Applications, And Interactive Multimedia Significantly Improve Students' Conceptual Understanding, Motivation, And Participation. Most Studies Reported Notable Increases In Post-Test Scores And Active Student Engagement. However, Challenges Such As Limited Infrastructure And Insufficient Teacher Training Remain Barriers To Optimal Implementation. These Findings Confirm That Technology-Based Learning Media Hold Great Potential To Create More Engaging And Meaningful Educational Experiences, Paving The Way For Future Improvements In The Quality Of Biology Education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity, feasibility, and effectiveness of an environment-based guided inquiry learning model accompanied by an Event Chain in improving students' critical thinking skills in Science learning on environmental pollution material. This research is a type of Research and Development that refers to the ADDIE development procedure which encompasses stages including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were seventh grade students of SMP N 3 Kartasura. This study use instruments in the form of validation sheets, student critical thinking skills tests, and learning modules. Data analysis techniques in the study consisted of validity test, feasibility test, and effectiveness test. The results showed that the learning model developed based on the assessment of seven validators was declared valid and ready to be tested with some improvements in input from the validator. The feasibility test results were feasible with a sig value of 0.00 <0.05, so the developed model had an effect in improving critical thinking skills. The effectiveness test using the N-Gain Score in percent form was 76.33% and it was within the effective category.

Abstract

PjBL-STEM is a project-based learning model integrated with Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The study developed a PjBL-STEM-based science module to improve creative thinking skills. The type of research and development used is ADDIE, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The feasibility of the module uses expert validation consisting of 3 material experts, 4 media experts, and 3 language experts. The module's practicality test by teachers consists of 4 teachers, and the readability test consists of 32 students. The module's effectiveness test uses a quasi-experiment with control and experimental classes. The control class is in VII C and the experimental class is in VII D. In each class there are 32 students with 16 females and 16 males. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the average results of the validation of material experts (0.89), media experts (0.90), and language experts (0.86). Practicality by teachers (96%) and module readability (90%). The N-Gain value is 0.57 with a moderate category, which means that this module is quite effective in improving students' creative thinking skills.

Abstract

River water pollution from domestic and industrial waste remains a major challenge in Indonesia’s environmental governance. The Clean River Program (PROKASIH) was established as a national initiative to control water pollution through collaboration among government agencies, industries, and local communities. However, local implementation often faces constraints, particularly limited community participation and insufficient integration of environmentally friendly infrastructure. This study evaluates the implementation of the Clean River Program in Sukoharjo Regency, examines community participation, identifies influencing factors, and develops an improvement strategy based on social cohesion and sustainable technology. A mixed-methods approach was applied, combining river water quality analysis, dissolved oxygen, biochemical oxygen demand, chemical oxygen demand, total suspended solids, nitrate, and phosphate, with a survey of 100 respondents and in-depth interviews. Reliability testing produced a Cronbach’s alpha value of 0.86, while Spearman ’scorrelation analysis showed a significant relationship between education level and participation. The results indicate a program success rate of 58.7%, with community participation classified as moderate. This study proposes the Green–Community River Management (G-CRM) framework, integrating participatory governance and eco-friendly infrastructure to strengthen PROKASIH implementation in line with the 2023–2030 KLHK Clean River Program Roadmap and support Sustainable Development Goal 6.3.

Abstract

Digital transformation and public facilities in city governance have become basic needs amidst the increasing complexity of public services and public demands for fast, transparent, and affordable services. Surakarta City, as a cultural city in the process of becoming a smart city, faces challenges in streamlining bureaucracy, improving residents' quality of life, and optimizing the use of real-time data. This study aims to identify and formulate a strategy for the Surakarta Smart City concept that focuses on the dimensions of smart governance, smart living, and smart society. The approach used integrates big data-based information technology and real-time technology. The research method uses literature studies from Scopus, Google Scholar, and Sinta. The research result showed that the current digital transformation in Surakarta has not optimally improved public services or access to information, nor has it accelerated responses to field conditions. The researchers recommend developing an integrative dashboard across sectors. Concretely, the smart city concept in Surakarta can be strengthened by: (1) the concept of adding public facilities such as the provision of public Wi-Fi in strategic city spaces, (2) optimizing the development of digital health services, (3) developing online-based population administration that can be accessed in real-time and responsively, and (4) implementing a real-time city monitoring system through the integration of CCTV and big data. These initiatives are considered capable of improving accessibility and quality of life and accelerating data-based decision-making. This research confirms that the success of a Smart City rests not only on technology, but also on collaborative governance, adaptive regulations, and community social readiness. Surakarta has great potential to become a model for a smart city based on culture and sustainable citizen participation.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan evaluasi status mutu air sungai Opak menggunakan metode biotilik yang mudah, sederhana dan tergolong murah untuk pemantauan dan pengawasan lingkungan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pengujian kualitas air sungai Opak pada 6 titik menggunakan metode biotilik dan dievaluasi status mutunya. Kualitas air sungai juga dilakukan uji pada parameter kimia, fisika dan mikrobiologi untuk selanjutnya dievaluasi dengan metode Storage and Retrieval (STORET) dan Indeks Pencemaran (IP). Evaluasi kualitas air sungai dengan metode biotilik kemudian diuji korelasi signifikansinya dengan metode STORET dan IP. Evaluasi kualitas air sungai Opak dengan metode biotilik pada titik T-1, T-2, T-3 dan O-3 diketahui tercemar berat. Evaluasi dengan STORET menunjukkan di semua titik sampling tercemar berat, sedangkan evaluasi dengan metode IP memberikan hasil yang sama dengan metode biotilik hanya berbeda di titik O-1 yang teridentifikasi tercemar ringan. Uji korelasi metode biotilik hanya berkorelasi dengan metode IP dimana besaran korelasi sebesar -0,871 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,024.

Abstract

Tofu is a widely consumed soy-based food in Indonesia, and its liquid waste is utilized for biogas in Sambak Village, addressing both renewable energy and waste management issues. However, the system's sustainability faces challenges. This research aimed to assess the current sustainability status of the tofu-wastewater-based biogas system and formulate strategic measures to optimize its long-term continuity. Sustainability was analyzed across five dimensions (ecological, economic, social, technological, and institutional) with multidimensional scaling (MDS) method, while strategies were formulated using SWOT analysis. The results showed an overall moderately sustainable system with an index score of 74.15. The ecological, economic, and social dimensions were rated very sustainable, while the technological dimension was quite sustainable, and the institutional dimension was less sustainable. The top priority strategy identified is the development and innovation of biogas installations. While biogas offers significant environmental and social economic benefits, sustainability is hindered by limited biogas volume and weak institutional management. Therefore, guidance, regular monitoring involving all stakeholders, and future supply-demand forecasting are crucial for its long-term viability.

Abstract

Kapasitas teknis pengolahan lanjut hasil panen menjadi sekat bagi upaya peningkatan ekonomi dan kesejahteraan petani. Kondisi tersebut ditemukan pula pada masyarakat tani pada lokasi pengabdian di Kelurahan Delingan, Karanganyar. Hal tersebut bersumber dari rendahnya tingkat kepedulian dan partisipasi warga dalam pendidikan formal maupun non formal, termasuk pada pendidikan usia dini dan remaja. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah melaksanakan peningkatan kapasitas pengolahan pertanian dan perekonomian masyarakat melalui pendidikan berbasis masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian adalah : pendidikan berbasis masyarakat, metode difusi ipteks, dan workshop. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa pelaksanaan  program kerja yang terdiri dari  : pembuatan pupuk kompos, penanaman bibit tanaman, penanaman tanaman hias dengan jelly warna – warni (hydrogel), dan pengolahan nugget sayuran, serta 2 program penunjang (forum belajar dan BTQ). Kesimpulan dari seluruh kegiatan ini adalah bahwa kegiatan tersebut telah terlaksana dengan baik namun perlu dilakukannya pengawasan secara langsung oleh pemerintah setempat agar warga tetap konsisten dalam membangun Kelurahan Delingan.
