Abstract

Artikel ini berkaitan dengan bagaimana implementasi pelaksanaan Program Kampung Iklim di Kota Surakarta yang telah berlangsung selama bertahun-tahun sebagai salah satu wilayah yang terkena dampak perubahan iklim berupa perubahan suhu bulanan dan ancaman terhadap pertanian dan sumber daya air. Penerapan program ini dimulai sejak tahun 2014 di Kampung Pucangsawit RW 09 Kecamatan Jebres Kota Surakarta yang melibatkan berbagai kegiatan guna memberdayakan masyarakat dalam aksi nyata mitigasi dan adaptasi perubahan iklim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi program kampung iklim dan peningkatan resiliensi masyarakat terhadap perubahan iklim. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara serta pendekatan triple helix untuk mengetahui interaksi antara pemerintah, akademisi, dan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kampung Pucangsawit RW 09 telah mengimplementasikan beberapa program meliputi program rumah pompa, pemanenan air hujan, budidaya hidroponik, dan pemanfaatan energi matahari pada lampu jalan. Perkampungan ini lebih resilien terhadap ancaman bencana banjir yang menjadi tantangan setiap tahun. Keberhasilan ini menunjukkan melalui pendekatan kolaboratif dan partisipatif masyarakat bersama pemerintah dan lembaga terkait berhasil meningkatkan resiliensi perkampungan terhadap perubahan iklim.

Abstract

Road transportation became a main contributor to the emissions of Surakarta City. The driving factor for these conditions is predicted to originate from massive commuting and transit activities. This research covered the administrative area of Surakarta City in July–August 2022. The aim of the research was to determine the impact of commuting and transit on carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Surakarta transportation and develop a spatial interpretation of the distribution of emissions. The emission estimation method uses a Tier 3 calculation approach using the Mobilev software. Estimation based on average daily traffic data for 24 hours as well as the character of the monitored path. The results of the study obtained an estimate of road transportation emissions for the City of Surakarta to reach 722795.3 tons of CO2 peryear. Commuter and transit activities contribute to 50.33% of total major road emissions or 133.77% of local vehicle emissions. Commuter and transit emissions in Surakarta City are dominated by private passenger cars (38.26%) and motorcycles (37.71%). Emission distribution shows a pattern of emission load that is greater on the city gate and transit lines than the central business district (CBD) area.

Abstract

The pandemic caused by Covid-19 has had various impacts on people's lives. One of these impacts is the use of masks when carrying out outdoor activities. Most people use disposable masks, so the amount of disposable mask waste has increased during the pandemic and post-pandemic. This research aims to find out whether people process disposable mask waste during the pandemic until post-pandemic. The research method was carried out using a non-probability sampling method using Google Form. Data analysis was carried out using Likert calculations and elasticity calculations. The results of the research show a decrease in people's behavior towards processing disposable mask waste during the pandemic to post-pandemic with E = 0.535, which means that people's behavior is inelastic.

Abstract

Surakarta is facing serious problems related to waste management at the Putri Cempo landfill. PT. Solo Citra Metro Plasma Power with the Surakarta city government built a waste power plant installation with gasification technology. Tar waste is a gasification liquid product that is dangerous if not managed. This study aimed to determine the heavy metal content and toxicity level of gasified tar waste using the atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) and lethal dose-50 (LD50) acute toxicity test. The parameters of heavy metals tested are lead (Pb), copper (Cu), iron (Fe), zinc (Zn), and total chromium (Cr). In the LD50 test, the animals were divided into 5 groups, namely 1 control group and 4 groups with doses of 0.50 mL, 1 mL, 2 mL, and 4 mL. The results showed that the tar contained 17.4 mg/L of iron, 3.5 mg/L of zinc, and <0.01 mg/L of lead, copper, and chromium. Acute toxicity tests did not cause death in the animals but still showed toxic symptoms, so the LD50 value is declared pseudo. The content of some heavy metals in tar is within safe limits and the level of toxicity is relatively harmless.

Abstract

This article describes the development of an e-commerce web-based used to offer micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) products from the community of Indonesia Council for Small Business (ICSB), Sukoharjo Regency. MSMEs entrepreneurs adopt information technology (IT) as marketing their marketing tools. To engage participation in climate change adaptation and mitigation, www.blonjo.online provide positive content from the entrepreneurs as the awareness campaign. Development of www.blonjo.online considers input from ICSB Sukoharjo to identify and situation analysis problems entrepreneurs face in the e-commerce platform. Some mentoring was conducted to increase understanding of climate change issues and their impact on environmental damage, green marketing, photography, and copywriting. Based on the need for information system specification, e-commerce was developed and tested for the design and performance of information systems, then prototyping. MSMEs entrepreneurs upload their climate change campaign in three climate change adaptation and mitigation categories: taking more efficient raw materials, avoiding non-renewable materials in production, and using environmentally friendly packaging.

Abstract

Through this activity, disaster volunteers in Surakarta City can conduct disaster risk reduction (DRR) efforts based on ecosystem data and information management. Climate change has an increasing impact on ecosystems, resulting in environmental damage, thereby increasing the intensity of disaster events that need to be studied and monitored. Managing this disaster risk data and information requires using an environmental information system for ecosystem-based disaster risk reduction (ECO-DRR). The capacity of volunteers is vital in dealing with the risks of natural disasters and the impact of climate change by using SIL. Currently, volunteers manage using a form that has yet to accompany the presentation of information for decision-making and management of disaster risk knowledge. Requires remedial action by increasing the ability of volunteers to manage disaster risk data and information, report disaster events, and present them in dashboards. The method used is the parameters for development of SIL as a solution for ecosystem-based disaster risk reduction (ECO-PRB). The parameters were conducted on the topics of disaster risk, disaster incident reporting, and dashboard information management. The development of ECO-DRR SIL uses Quality Function Deployment (QFD) to obtain information on improvements in developing a user-based digital platform.

Abstract

Industri tahu dapat membawa dampak negatif karena berpotensi mencemari lingkungan. Permasalahan industri ini yaitu penggunaan kayu bakar, solar, listrik pompa air dan respirasi manusia yang menyumbang terhadap emisi gas rumah kaca. Tujuan penelitian mengidentifikasi dampak emisi Gas Rumah Kaca (GRK) yang dihasilkan pada proses produksi tahu dan menentukan alternatif pengendalian yang menjadi prioritas dalam mereduksi dampak emisi GRK di industri tahu. Analisis data emisi gas rumah kaca menggunakan metode Life Cycle Assesment (LCA) dengan software OpenLCA. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan wawancara. Database yang digunakan Agribalyse, Ecoinvent dan ELCD. Metode penilaian dampak yaitu IPCC 2021 terdapat pada database ELCD. analisis data Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) menggunakan software Expert Choice untuk mendapatkan alternatif pengendalian emisi gas rumah kaca. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner. Industri tahu memiliki dua produk yaitu tahu putih dan tahu goreng bahan tahu bakso. Produk tahu putih memberikan dampak terhadap pemanasan global atau Global Warming Potential (GWP) sebesar 0,0704 kg CO2 eq/kg dan Produk tahu goreng bahan tahu bakso sebesar 0,1346 kg CO2 eq/kg. Kegiatan penggorengan memberikan kontributor utama dampak GWP sebesar 0,0501 kg CO2 eq/kg dikarenakan penggunaan kayu bakar sebagai bahan bakar. Alternatif pengendalian menunjukkan pilihan terbanyak yaitu kriteria lingkungan sebesar 65,4% dan alternatif biogas sebesar 58,2%.

Abstract

Used cooking oil disposed directly to the ground by Putra Abadi MSMEs can threaten the surrounding environment. It is necessary to manage used cooking oil by reprocessing it into another form that can be useful, namely by processing it into floor cleaning soap to overcome these problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of the content of floor cleaning soap made from used cooking oil from the production process of Putra Abadi MSMEs with SNI Floor Cleaning Soap and to determine the added value of floor cleaning soap made from used cooking oil from the production process of Putra Abadi MSMEs in terms of economy and ecology. The method used is the experimental making of floor cleaning soap with analysis of floor cleaning soap content test data referring to SNI 1842: 2019. Analysis of ecological added value is explained descriptively by considering abiotic, biotic, and cultural components; Economic feasibility analysis is carried out by calculating B/C and PBP. The results of this study indicate that variation 4 is the variation with the best composition that meets the SNI 1842: 2019 non-disinfectant category and is economically viable. Manufacturing these products provides ecological benefits, including reducing environmental pollution, restoring aquatic and soil biota habitats, and encouraging sustainable behaviour patterns.

Abstract

Biodiversity ecology and ethnoscience are materials that are considered difficult to understand because they have to relate abstract material to the problems of everyday life and also the culture/beliefs of a region. Interactive teaching materials play a role in increasing students understanding and improving their critical thinking abilities. This research aims to produce interactive teaching materials based on electronic modules that are valid to use as learning media. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach for data analysis. The content validity in this research includes media validity, material validity, learning expert validity and language validation which have been validated by expert validators and practitioners according to their fields. Aspects measured for media validation include learning unit presentation techniques, presentation completeness, e-module size, cover design, and learning unit content design, while material validity includes aspects of material completeness, material breadth, material depth, material accuracy, and up-to-date and contextual. Learning expert validation includes content, strategies, learning evaluation and assessment. Linguist validation includes straightforward, communicative, dialogical, and interactive, suitability for student development, language and slides or icons. Based on the research results, the average validity test for material was 0.89, media was 0.90, learning expert was 0.94 and language was 1.00, these four validations can be stated to be included in the valid category. It was concluded that the science e-module is suitable for use as a learning medium based on Problem Based Learning and containing ethnoscience to improve students' critical thinking skills on ecology and biodiversity material

Abstract

Kondisi eksisting yang terjadi saat ini kegiatan budidaya Anggur organik di mitra sasaran 1 Point Farm berjalan dengan budidaya secara konvensional, sehingga belum maksimal dalam produksi buah karena kontrol penyiraman, pupuk dan obat-obatan masih dilakukan seara manual, sedangkan kondisi produksi produk turunan Anggur yang dikelola mitra sasaran 2 D Bun Kitchen berupa Sirup, Selai, Nastar Aggur dan Fermentasi Sari Anggur sudah berjalan namun kurang maksimal dalam pemasaran dan produksi. Hal ini dikarenakan alat produksi yang terbatas sehingga kapasitas produksi kurang. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini untuk memperkuat peningkatan industri anggur dan mampu mendorong potensi produk anggur serta terwujudnya kemitraan dengan pemangku kepentingan industri anggur di Kota Surakarta bahkan Nasional. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan sosialisasi program mitra 1 (point farm); pelatihan penggunaan irigasi tetes untuk mitra 1 (point farm); pendampingan dan evaluasi berupa digital marketing dan market place. Output dan Outcome yang akan dicapai berupa produksi anggur organik dengan target pasar pegiat anggur; perusahaan industri agrokompleks; masyarakat dan bisa berguna untuk kegiatan tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan (CSR). Untuk memastikan keberlanjutan program dalam kegiatan ini dilakukan kolaborasi dengan berbagai stakeholders, monitoring dan evaluasi yang dilakukan secara periodik dengan melibatkan seluruh komponen baik dari pihak tim pelaksana, mitra sasaran, Pemerintah Daerah Kota Surakarta maupun eksternal dari tim Kemendikbudristek. Hasil kegiatan mitra sasaran 1 point farm adanya penambahan bahan baku penanaman bibit anggur sebanyak 50 tanaman anggur, selanjutnya untuk produksi akan dilakukan penggunaan teknologi irigasi tetes. Solusi pemasaran dilakukan dengan digital marketing berupa website dan marketplace. Mitra sasaran kedua D Bun Kitchen solusi produksi dilakukan penambahan alat produksi berupa mixer, oven dan alat peras anggur, sedangkan untuk solusi pemasaran dilakukan dengan digital marketing berupa website dan market place serta bermitra dengan toko oleh-oleh.
