Abstract

Background: Speech Therapy students face high academic and clinical pressures, requiring social support as a protective factor to maintain psychological well-being and support their academic success. Objectives: This article aims to assess the content validity of a social support instrument specifically designed for Speech Therapy students. Methods: This study used a quantitative descriptive method. Validation was conducted using an expert judgement approach. The validation process involved assessment using a 5-point Likert scale. Data analysis used Aiken’s V and Content Validity Index (CVI). Results: The analysis showed that three items did not meet the Aiken’s V threshold (0.75) and required revision. The s-CVI value of 0.86 indicates that the instrument has high content validity overall. Conclusion: This study concludes that the developed measurement tool is suitable for use in academic and clinical contexts, with revisions to some items that are not yet valid. Abstract

Regulasi Emosi bagi anak PAUD menjadi salah satu indikator pembelajaran dalam kurikulum PAUD. Guru diharapkan dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar menarik dalam penanaman karakter regulasi emosi pada anak. Berbagai macam metode pembelajaran dan penanaman karakter bagi anak PAUD, salah satu yang terbukti efektif dan menyenangkan bagi anak adalah metode berkisah. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang regulasi emosi dan penusunan satuan pembelajaran serta aplikasi tekhnik berkisah dalam menanaman regulasi emosi ala Rasulullah. Menggunakan metode lokakarya/workshop dalam jaringan dengan fasilitas aplikasi Zoom Meeting. Peserta merupakan guru PAUD A’isyiyah Bustanul Athfal dari 7 Kota/Kabupaten seluruh Papua yang berada di bawah arahan Majelis DIKDASMEN PWA Papua dengan keseluruhan peserta sebanyak 52 orang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama dua hari dengan tiga materi lokakarya, pengerjaan kertas kerja dan demonstrasi metode berkisah yang diikuti oleh 7 perwakilan peserta. Hasil dari lokakarya ini, selain terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan tentang regulasi emosi ala Rasulullah, guru menyusun satuan pembelajaran berkaitan dengan regulasi emosi dan dapat mempraktikkan penanaman regulasi emosi dengan tehnik berkisah.

Abstract

Inclusive Education is currently a concern in order to fulfill the rights of children with special needs to learn. This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of research on the theme of Inclusive Education, identify current conditions, trends and other indicators by analyzing articles sourced from Scopus since 2010-2024. This study examines publications per year, keyword trends, Co-author Analysis, countries and organizations. 414 articles were obtained as samples. This study uses Vosviewer software to analyze the data. This study provides an important basis for further researchers to develop more inclusive education policies and practices. Practically, the results of this study emphasize the need for policies that support teacher training, especially in developing countries, to ensure the achievement of educational inclusivity.

Abstract

The caregiving experience of parents of children with special needs (CSN) can be challenging and can lead to significant stress and negative impacts on mental health. To address this issue, a community service activity was implemented to provide positive self-talk training to 25 parents of CSN who are members of the Indonesian Special Family Forum (FORKESI) in South Sumatra. The training was conducted online using the Zoom Meeting platform and employed the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method. The results of the community service indicated that the average stress levels of the participants decreased after participating in the training. Additionally, participants reported feeling more grateful for the condition of their children, more accepting of their children's condition, and having more open minds. These findings suggest that positive self-talk training is an effective strategy for reducing stress in parents of children with special needs and may have broader implications for supporting caregivers in the community.

Abstract

Kondisi Pandemik mengharuskan pegawai untuk bekerja secara WFH. Penelitian terdahulu mengenai efek dari WFH adalah motivasi kerja menurun,  komunikasi kerja menjadi tidak baik serta keseimbangan kehidupan dan pekerjaan tidak terpenuhi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode korelasi. Subjek berjumlah 190 Pegawai WFH Instansi Swasta dan Negeri di Surakarta berusia 20-40 tahun yang diperoleh dengan teknik accidental sampling. Skala yang digunakan adalah skala kepuasan kerja, dukungan keluarga, motivasi kerja serta keseimbangan kehidupan dan pekerjaan. Data  di analisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda pada SPSS 16.0. Diperoleh hasil terdapat hubungan antara kepuasan kerja, dukungan keluarga, motivasi kerja dengan keseimbangan kehidupan dan pekerjaan pada Pegawai WFH dan besar sumbangan variabel adalah 53,3%. Secara parsial tidak ditemukan hubungan antara motivasi kerja dengan keseimbangan kehidupan dan pekerjaan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan informasi mengenai pentingnya untuk mewujudkan keseimbangan kehidupan dan pekerjaan Pegawai dengan memperhatikan kepuasan kerja dan juga dukungan keluarga.Kata Kunci: dukungan keluarga, kepuasan kerja, keseimbangan kehidupan dan pekerjaan, motivasi kerja.

Abstract

Happiness is a goal for every individual, achieved through various means. Although the standardsand forms of happiness vary from person to person, happiness is an indicator of mental health. Achieving happiness can be achieved by fulfilling physical needs, but it is also important to fulfill non-physical needs to balance body and mind. The urgency of this research is that writing is one solution offered in efforts to address deteriorating mental health. Writing has been proven to be an effective means of controlling and managing stress (coping with stress). This writing activity will have an even more positive impact when done in ways that bring joy. This community service activity took the form of a writing seminar with the theme “Writing to Celebrate Happiness.” In general, the goal of this research was to provide understanding and scientific insight to the target group (students and university students) so they can cope with stress by writing about their emotional experiences. Specifically, the goal was to equip students and university students with the knowledge to overcome stress through writing about joyous experiences.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPerilaku penyalahgunaan NAPZA sebagai bentuk penyimpangan perilaku yang harus dikontrol agar tidak terjadi peningkatan penyalahgunaan dan kerugian di berbagai sektor kehidupan, baik ekonomi, kesehatan, sosial, maupun individu yang bersangkutan. Keluarga sebagai salah satu lembaga kontrol sosial mempunyai pengaruh yang kuat terhadap munculnya perilaku penyalahgunaan NAPZA. Teori kontrol sosial akan mengkaji fungsi keluarga, khususnya ibu dalam membentuk keyakinan terhadap aturan pada kasus penyalahgunaan NAPZA. Subjek penelitian ini adalah remaja yang menunjukkan risiko penyalahgunaan NAPZA sebanyak 241 remaja (usia 15-17 tahun)  dengan cluster random sampling dengan kriteria inklusif harus tinggal Bersama kedua orang tua. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan structural equation model (SEM) dengan indikator indeks kecocokan model GFI = 0,925; CFI=908; AGFI=0,879; TLI=0,874; estimasi kelekatan ibu-anak terhadap keyakinan aturan sebesar 0,41, dan estasi keyakinan aturan terhadap risiko penyalahgunaan napza sebesar -0,35. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kelekatan ibu-anak lebih berperan dibandingkan kelekatan ayah dalam membentuk keyakinan terhadap aturan seorang remaja sehingga mampu mengurangi risiko penyalahgunaan NAPZA. Implikasinya peran ibu dapat lebih ditingkatkan dalam pengasuhan agar mampu memberikan rasa nyaman pada anak dengan pengetahuan dan ketrampilannya, sehingga transmisi nilai, aturan terinternalisasi pada diri anak.ABSTRACTDrug abuse behavior is a kind of behavioral deviance that needs to be managed in order to prevent abuse and losses in the social, health, economic, and individual domains of life from increasing. The establishment of drug misuse behavior is significantly influenced by the family as a social control institution. According to social control theory, the role of the mother in particular in setting family norms about drug misuse will be investigated. Cluster random selection was used to choose 241 teens (15–17 years old) who met the inclusionary criterion of having to live with both parents and shown a risk of drug misuse. A structural equation model (SEM) was used to evaluate the data. The model fit index indicator was GFI = 0.925; CFI = 908; AGFI = 0.879; TLI = 0.874. The estimate of rule beliefs' relationship to the likelihood of drug abuse was -0.35, and the estimate of mother-child attachment to rule beliefs was 0.41. The findings indicate that, in order to lower the likelihood of drug usage, a teen's attitudes about regulations are formed more by their mother and child than by their father. The inference is that the mother's role in raising her child can be further developed so that she can use her knowledge and abilities to comfort the child and help the youngster internalize the rules and values that have been imparted to them.

Abstract

Kegiatan dan aktifitas rutin yang dilakukan seseorang seakan mengarah pada kegiatan yang mekanis. Oleh karena itu banyak orang berharap mempunyai waktu luang dengan harapan sebagai release time, free time. Waktu luang menjadi berharga bagi seseorang, termasuk pada remaja. Usia dengan ciri utama pencarian identitas diri. Fenomena waktu luang remaja menjadi kajian yang penting untuk diketahui. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif fenomenologis. Sebanyak 2004 orang usia remaja awal terlibat di dalam pengisian angket terbuka. Data dianalisis secara konten dengan pemberian koding. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa waktu luang remaja didominasi oleh bentuk kegiatan kesenangan yang cenderung tidak produktif (35,9%). Namun kegiatan olah raga cukup menjadi pilihan remaja dalam mengisi waktu luang (29,2%), menyusul kegiatan kesenangan yang produktif. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sekolah sama sekali tidak menjadi pengisi waktu luang, termasuk kegiatan kemasyarakatan, keagamaan, dan seni. Berdasarkan fenomena ini akan menjadi rekomendasi yang bisa ditindaklanjuti baik oleh pemegang kebijakan, sekolah, keluarga, maupun kelompok-kelompok komunitas yang anggotanya didominasi remaja.

Abstract

Self-esteem plays a crucial role in shaping academic achievement among university students. This study investigates how self-esteem, gender, and age influence academic performance, particularly within the Indonesian context. Despite extensive global research, there needs to be more understanding of these dynamics among Indonesian university students. The study explores the relationships between self-esteem, gender, age, and academic achievement, identifying significant predictors and differences. A quantitative survey design was employed to gather data from 309 students across 12 Central Java, Indonesia universities. Data collection was executed through online surveys distributed via WhatsApp and Facebook. Data analysis was performed using Pearson correlation and multiple regression techniques with SPSS. The findings confirm that self-esteem significantly impacts academic achievement, establishing it as a strong predictor of academic success. While gender differences in self-esteem were notable, age did not significantly affect self-esteem. Interestingly, no significant gender gaps in academic performance were observed, though academic achievement varied across age groups. These conclusions suggest that enhancing self-esteem could improve academic outcomes. This research contributes to the global understanding of self-esteem dynamics, emphasizing the need for targeted interventions in educational settings. The insights gained can inform educators and policymakers in developing strategies to support students' academic success in Indonesia.
