Abstract

Avian influenza is an influenza disease that is transmitted from birds, can transmit to humans and then can also be transmitted between humans, so that it can cause epidemics. Avian influenza is caused by a myxovirus virus that belongs to the Orthomyxoviridae family. This disease can be treated with antivirals and various other complementary drugs. These variations were then compared with a systematic literature review method to see which treatment had the best effect on treating avian influenza. The sample used in the research was taken from the population or individuals (case study). Results: most patients were treated with oseltamivir, some were given other antivirals and other additional treatments. Conclusion: treatment using the antiviral oseltamivir given ≤ 2 days after the onset of symptoms showed better treatment effectiveness than using other antivirals and corticosteroids.

Abstract

Universal Health Coverage (UHC) is one of the government's targets in public health services to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The UHC is a crucial and urgent resolution for all nations to expand health systems with equal access and affordable costs. The program is one of the efforts to lower the maternal and infant mortality rate. As a healthcare provider, public health centers must ensure optimal care and services. Public health centers realize that providing health care refers to the core health efforts program. This research aims to analyze maternal and child health insurance use in maternity services in Public health centers. The analysis uses the study methodology of the literature review library with search engines used in literature searches such as Google Scholar and PubMed with the keywords Birth Assurance, Public Health Centers, Sustainable Development Goals, and Universal Health Coverage. The survey results show that the use of maternity guarantees for the population in Public health centers in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, responsiveness, uniformity, and accuracy still needs to be better achieved. The research identifies differences between people's expectations of quality of health care and the realities experienced, focusing on the various dimensions that make up quality of service. These dimensions include reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangible. The conclusion of this study suggests that services in Public health centers should be continuously improved through capacity improvements, improvements or renovations of infrastructure and systems, as well as some programs with preventive, promotional, and empowerment of the public to UHC.

Abstract

Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is one of the health problems in the world that is quite a lot of sufferers in various countries. According to data from the UNAIDS Global Report in 2018, more than 37.9 million people live with HIV, and 770 thousand people have lost their lives due to HIV / AIDS. The prevalence of mortality is also influenced by the health seeking behavior of HIV sufferers. This study aims to explore the factors, barriers, and accessibility associated with health seeking behavior in HIV patients. The method used was a qualitative method, by analyzing 9 articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria from 182 literature studies found in PubMed and Scopus. The results of the analysis showed factors, barriers, and accessibility that influence health seeking behavior in HIV patients. These factors included economic factors, education, perceptions of HIV, medical pluralism, partner concerns, family support, community stigma, asymptomatic HIV status, travel distance, transportation costs, breach of confidentiality, mistreatment from health services, and lack of information regarding HIV health services. It is hoped that future research can continue research related to health seeking behavior factors, as well as develop strategies to overcome barriers and improve accessibility of health services for HIV patients.

Abstract

Reliable clinical diagnosis of Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) is necessary for personalizing tamoxifen medication according to CYP2D6*10 genetic variations. Our research aimed to create a recombinant plasmid for external control material with a molecular size of 3812 bp. The recombinant plasmid was achieved by cloning an 838 bp gene insert of CYP2D6*10 rs1065852 into a 2974 bp pJET1.2 plasmid into Escherichia coli DH10B and selection on ampicillin agar medium. Isolated E. coli recombinants provided the plasmid molecules for analysis. Bi-directional sequencing and Real-Time PCR confirmed the presence of wild-type and mutant rs1065852 DNA fragments in the plasmid, namely homozygote CC and TT. The conclusion is that we have successfully introduced a novel recombinant plasmid developed by cloning the SNP rs1065852, which carries the 100C>T mutation, using pJET 1.2/blunt system, which could significantly enhance the accuracy of clinical SNP diagnostics for personalized medicine in breast cancer treatment.

Abstract

Therefore, to assist the government in improving the economy of Sindangsari Village, Community Service activities are carried out. This Community Service activity is carried out by initiating the empowerment of village officials and the community in improving the economy. Sindangsari Village, Kutawaluya District, Karawang Regency through the submission of the legality of Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) in the form of a Business Identification Number (NIB) and halal certificates, the creation of a website as a means of promoting UMKM, as well as seminar activities to encourage the revitalization of BUMDes. The method used in the service consists of 3 (three) stages, which consist of: 1) preparation; (2) implementation; (3) reporting. All community service programs have shown success and can be used as a reference to improve village economic development, namely the realization of making business legalities as many as 50 UMKM, making village websites, and seminars on increasing the capability of village apparatus and BUMDes management.
