Abstract

This study analyses the application of women's representation as election supervisors and election supervisors who are part of election organizers other than the General Elections Commission. The Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu) is an election organizer with the authority and responsibility to oversee the process of election stages and election participants. This study uses a qualitative approach by using secondary data from the Bawaslu Decree of the Republic of Indonesia and primary data from the regulation of Law No. 7 of 2017 concerning general elections, journals, internet and social media from Bawaslu agencies, both from Bawaslu RI, Province, and Bawaslu Regency/City. Then, conclude using descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study show that the implementation of women's representation in the election supervisory institution, namely Bawaslu, does not meet the women's representation requirement of 30%. Even in some districts/cities, women are not represented as election supervisors. Article 92 Paragraph 11, as a legal basis regarding women's representation in Bawaslu, is not fully implemented. Regulations are not only used as an obligation abort as a condition for women's entry into politics that have been given places and rules. In addition, implementation and supervision in the field are needed. There needs to be integrity and transparency from the selected selection team with no political content that benefits one candidate. However, due diligence and appropriateness are in the realm of Bawaslu of the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to 1) analyze the work of the Magelang Regency KPU and Banjarnegara Regency KPU in fulfilling voters' political rights in the 2019 Election; 2) analyze the influence of Form-C6 management on voters in the 2019 Election in Magelang Regency and Banjarnegara Regency; and 3) analyze the KPU's strategy to optimize administrative management of form C-6. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with informants namely KUPD, City/Regency Banwaslu, District KPPS, TPS supervisors, and voters both in Banjarnegara Regency and those in Magelang Regency. The results of the research show that there are voters who are registered on the Permanent Voter List (DTP) but did not receive the C6 Form in the 2019 Election, in Magelang Regency data collection and management is complete while Banjarnegara Regency is the district with the most C6 form returns and the KPU's strategy is to optimize administrative management of form C-6 is carried out by opening complaints and services to people who have registered in the DPT.

Abstract

This study aims to delve into the prevalence of single candidates participating in regional elections across various regions following the Constitutional Court Decision Number 100/PUU-XIII/2015. It explores how political party elites and oligarchs strategically maneuver to either maintain or acquire power. Specifically focusing on Boyolali Regency, this research employs a qualitative descriptive approach to uncover the underlying causes behind the emergence of a single candidate. The findings reveal the significant influence of hegemonic forces wielded by major political parties over smaller ones, orchestrated by oligarchs. Importantly, the study highlights that this hegemonic dominance is not driven by factors such as religious majority affiliations with political parties but rather emerges as a purely oligarchic endeavor aimed at controlling both the nomination process and victory outcomes of single candidates.

Abstract

This study examines the overlapping public policy of Indonesian social forestry, focusing on the challenges and opportunities it presents. The analysis considers the various stakeholders involved in the implementation of social forestry programs and the implications for sustainable forest management. Additionally, the study explores the potential for integrating social forestry policies with broader environmental and social development goals. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature and case studies, this research aims to provide insights into the effectiveness of current social forestry policies and suggest recommendations for improvement. By examining the challenges faced by different stakeholders, such as local communities, government agencies, and environmental organizations, the analysis aims to identify areas for collaboration and conflict resolution. This research also seeks to highlight the economic, environmental, and social opportunities that can arise from successful implementation of social forestry programs. By linking social forestry policies with broader development goals, there is potential to achieve not only sustainable forest management but also improved livelihoods and environmental conservation. Ultimately, this study aims to contribute to the ongoing dialogue and efforts towards enhancing the effectiveness of social forestry initiatives worldwide.
