Abstract

This study examines the repositioning strategies of Indonesia’s halal maritime industry within the framework of the blue economy, employing positive law and fatwas issued by the Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI). Despite Indonesia’s considerable maritime potential, the halal maritime sector remains underdeveloped, thereby necessitating strategic repositioning. Utilizing a qualitative, descriptive-analytical, and normative juridical methodology, the research reveals that the proposed strategies correspond with Elkington’s Triple Bottom Line Theory across five key pillars: (1) cross-sectoral regulatory harmonization that integrates public policy, legislation, and halal fatwas; (2) development of halal maritime infrastructure, encompassing ports, cold chain logistics, transportation, certification processes, and blockchain-based traceability; (3) institutional collaboration among government agencies, BPJPH, BPOM, and MUI concerning derivative products; (4) establishment of a comprehensive halal maritime ecosystem; and (5) enhancement of halal seafood export competitiveness to support halal diplomacy. The study contributes theoretically by bridging the blue economy concept with legal frameworks and fatwas, and offers a practical, sustainable model for industry repositioning. Policy implications underscore that, without the integration of regulatory measures and fatwas, the halal maritime industry will remain marginal and fail to serve as a catalyst for Indonesia’s Islamic economic development.

Abstract

Purpose - This study aims to determine the implementation of ta'widh (compensation) for default customers on KPR Platinum iB in the perspective of Fatwa DSN-MUI No.129 / DSN-MUI / VII / 2019.Method - This study uses a qualitative analysis method with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Purposive sampling technique is used by selecting sources who are considered the most knowledgeable related to the research topic.Result - The results of this study indicate that the implementation of ta'widh for default customers on the KPR Platinum iB is in accordance with the DSN-MUI Fatwa No.129 / DSN-MUI / VII / 2019. But in practice, there are several notes. The implementation of ta'widh and ta'zir at Bank BTN KCPS Karawaci is different. Ta'widh is charged to customers who experience delays in paying their obligations for more than 180 days and the ta'widh funds obtained will be recorded as Bank revenue. Ta'zir will be charged to customers who do not pay installments according to the due date and the ta'zir funds obtained will be recorded as non-halal income.Implication - This research can be used as a reference in measuring the conformity between the DNS-MUI Fatwa No. 129 / DSN-MUI / VII / 2019 with its implementation in the practice of financing in Islamic banks.Originality - This research focuses on analyzingimplementation of ta'widh (compensation) for default customers on KPR Platinum iB in the perspective of Fatwa DSN-MUI No.129 / DSN-MUI / VII / 2019..

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis secara komprehensif peran sertifikasi halal reguler dalam membangun kepercayaan konsumen terhadap produk pangan olahan di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif melalui tinjauan literatur sistematis, mengintegrasikan data dari berbagai jurnal ilmiah bereputasi yang terindeks Scopus dan Sinta 2 dan lainnya. Hasil penelitian menyoroti evolusi regulasi halal di Indonesia dari bersifat sukarela menjadi wajib, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor kunci yang memengaruhi kepercayaan konsumen, serta menganalisis dampak sertifikasi halal terhadap minat beli dan loyalitas konsumen. Pembahasan menginterpretasikan temuan-temuan ini, membandingkannya dengan studi lain dan mengemukakan implikasi strategis bagi pelaku usaha dan pembuat kebijakan. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa sertifikasi halal berfungsi sebagai sinyal kredibel yang mengurangi asimetri informasi, namun efektivitasnya dimoderasi oleh faktor-faktor lain seperti religiusitas konsumen dan tantangan implementasi, khususnya bagi Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan sinergi ekosistem halal dan peningkatan literasi konsumen untuk mengoptimalkan dampak sertifikasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh transformasi bisnis dan citra perusahaan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan serta implikasinya terhadap akselerasi pertumbuhan PT. PELNI sebagai penyedia jasa transportasi laut nasional. Transformasi bisnis dan citra perusahaan merupakan dua aspek strategis yang diyakini mampu meningkatkan pengalaman dan kepuasan pelanggan, yang pada akhirnya berkontribusi pada pertumbuhan berkelanjutan perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, di mana data dikumpulkan dari 400 responden yang merupakan pengguna jasa PT. PELNI. Instrumen penelitian disusun berdasarkan indikator yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa transformasi bisnis berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan jasa transportasi, dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,460 dan t-statistik 4,904 (>1,96), serta p-value 0,000 (<0,05). Artinya, semakin efektif PT. PELNI melakukan transformasi bisnis—misalnya melalui digitalisasi layanan, peningkatan efisiensi operasional, dan integrasi sistem teknologi informasi—maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat kepuasan pelanggan terhadap jasa yang diterima. Transformasi ini menjadi kunci dalam menjawab dinamika kebutuhan pasar yang semakin kompetitif dan terdigitalisasi. Citra Perusahaan mempunyai pengaruh langsung terhadap variabel Kepuasan Pelanggan Jasa Transportasi. Kondisi ini diperjelas melalui hasil uji yang memperlihatkan koefisien jalur sejumlah 0,470 (>0) dan nilai T statistik sebesar 5,148 (t hitung > t tabel, signifikansi 5% = 1,96),  Selanjutnya, kepuasan pelanggan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap akselerasi pertumbuhan PT. PELNI. Kondisi ini diperjelas melalui hasil uji yang memperlihatkan koefisien jalur sejumlah 0,344 (>0) dan nilai T statistik sebesar 4,258 (t hitung > t tabel, signifikansi 5% = 1,96) Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya inovasi berkelanjutan dalam proses bisnis dan penguatan citra positif perusahaan sebagai strategi utama untuk meningkatkan loyalitas pelanggan dan mempercepat pertumbuhan bisnis. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi manajerial bagi PT. PELNI dalam merumuskan kebijakan transformasi digital, peningkatan layanan, serta strategi komunikasi korporat untuk membangun persepsi positif pelanggan. Selain itu, studi ini juga menjadi landasan bagi penelitian lanjutan dalam konteks manajemen transportasi dan kepuasan pelanggan.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to analyze the gap between the economic potential of traditional cuisine in the halal tourism ecosystem and the level of compliance of business actors with certification requirements, as stipulated in the Halal Product Guarantee Law. This study also examines the factors influencing the halal tourism ecosystem and halal guarantees among business actors in Laksa Tangerang. Methods – This study used a qualitative descriptive method with a normative juridical approach. The analysis was conducted by linking the culinary practices of Laksa Tangerang with SWOT analysis and halal product assurance regulations in Indonesia. Data were obtained through observations in the culinary tourism area in Laksa Tangerang, interviews with Laksa vendors, visitors, and the local community, and relevant literature. Findings – This study shows that the stagnation of halal culinary growth in Laksa Tangerang is caused by multidimensional structural constraints, including limited innovation, weak segmentation and promotion, and governance issues. The SWOT analysis identified several strategic strengths that position Laksa Tangerang as a potential hub for halal tourism development. From an Islamic law perspective, its integration into the halal tourism ecosystem requires formal halal certification as a Halal Product Guarantee, so that halal assurance is institutionalized in a credible manner. Therefore, strengthening halal literacy, expanding certification, and improving governance are prerequisites for transforming Laksa Tangerang into a competitive and sustainable halal culinary tourism destination. Research contribution/limitations – This study contributes to providing space for the actualization of sharia values in local economic practices and offers a contextual and applicable SWOT analysis framework. Originality/value – This research offers a new perspective on integrating traditional culinary heritage into the Islamic legal framework in a contextual manner, thereby offering a model for sustainable Halal tourism development.
