Abstract

This study aims to conduct a limited trial of a hypothetical project-based learning (PjBL) model to increase environmental awareness in early childhood. This research uses Research and Developmentnet. The research subjects were teachers and early childhood students from kindergartens in Serang City who were determined through a multistage cluster sampling technique. The data in this study were collected through questionnaires, observations, interviews, FGDs and documentation/literature studies. Research data analysis was carried out through data analysis on the development of a hypothetical model and testing the effectiveness of the model. The results of limited trials of project-based learning models to improve environmental care attitudes in early childhood were declared feasible and effective. The feasibility of the learning model was assessed by material experts to get the "Good" category. The feasibility of supporting media in the form of module books/guidelines was assessed by media experts as included in the "Very Good" category. The feasibility of the instrument was assessed by instrument experts into the "Very Good" category. The project-based learning model developed in this study was declared effective for increasing early childhood environmental care attitudes. The average results of the assessment of environmental care for early childhood showed an increase after being given 5 treatments. The results of hypothesis testing show that there is a significant difference in the average rating of caring for the environment in early childhood using a project-based learning model

Abstract

There are several things that need to be prepared to support children's development through the learning process, one of which is preparing media that can support aspects of their development. Most teachers only use an approach in the form of media images through worksheets without any modifications in the form of games. The purpose of this study is to describe the related Implementation of Mathematical Learning for Early Childhood 4-6 years Through the Traditional Game of Bekel Ball at PG-TK Islam Tirtayasa. This research uses a qualitative method. The research subjects were children aged 4-6 years old. With data collection techniques through an interview, observation, and documentation, classroom Action Research is an activity to improve learning practices to learning activities from problems that arise in learning situations. The results of the study are that there is an increase in the symbols for numbers 1-10 and knowing the shape of a circular geometric circle which if written in proportion is knowing the symbols for numbers 1-10 which is caused by stimulation of the child's brain for cognitive aspects through congklak media, as many children develop very well (BSB) 70% and children who develop as expected as much as 30% while children who know the geometry of circles with an unprecedented development rate as much as 80% and who develop as expected as much as 20%. This is also shown when the process of bekel ball games is done, namely the enthusiasm of children in playing and children are delighted when playing ball together with their friends so that the child does not feel that he is learning as well.

Abstract

Big book merupakan salah satu media pembelajaran sederhana yang dapat menarik perhatian anak karena selain gambar dan ukurannya yang besar media ini dilengkapi warna dan tulisan yang bervariasi sehingga mampu mengembangkan bahasa serta minat baca anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan media big book berbasis cerita rakyat nusantara dalam mengembangkan kemampuan bahasa anak usia 5-6 tahun di Jalan Empat Lima Gg. Bhineka, RT.3/RW.13, Kotabaru, Kec. Serang, Kota Serang, Banten 42116. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah dua orang anak yang berusia 5 tahun dan usia 6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sebagai teknik analisis data dan pengumpulan data berupa hasil observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa penerapan media big book berbasis cerita nusantara dapat mengembangkan kemampuan bahasa anak yang berusia 5-6 Tahun. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari tingkat pencapaian perkembangan anak dalam aspek bahasa yaitu anak mampu menyimak perkataan orang lain, mengenal suara hewan/benda disekitar, dapat menjawab sesuai pertanyaan, mengerti beberapa perintah secara bersamaan, mengulang kalimat yang lebih kompleks, memahami aturan dalam permainan dan senang serta menghargai bacaan.

Abstract

When SD Laboratory UPI implemented Blended learning System at post period of covid pandemic, the students perform some learning problem symptoms.  In order to prevent this, become wide spread, it is necessary to formulate a program to help students cope the problem. This research focuses on collecting empirical data of students' psychological conditions.  It will be used as base in developing program. This study takes 30 respondents to implement the DCM and the ITP instrument. The data is processed by percentage techniques and statistical tests. The results exhibit the most problems experienced by students at social problems point and indicate the students at impulsive and protection level of development tasks with the lowest aspect at the "emotional maturity", "economic behavioral independence" and "awareness of responsibility". Thus the program is designed in the composition as following: basic services to develop emotional maturity, responsive services for students with low development and problem symptoms; individual planning services with a focus on further study career planning; as well as system support in the form of in-house training in the preparation of learning kits and guidance kits.

Abstract

Kemampuan guru dalam melakukan refleksi terhadap kinerjanya merupakan bagian dari seperangkat kompetensi pedagogi kedamaian yang harus dimiliki dan dilaksanakan oleh guru. Guru yang reflektif adalah guru yang melakukan dialog dalam dirinya terkait pengalaman, keyakinan dan persepsi pembelajaran. Dialog yang dilakukan melalui proses berpikir reflektif dilakukan untuk mencapai tingkat refleksi antara pengalaman dan keinginan ideal baik menurut dirinya atau teori-teori dalam lingkup pembelajaran dan pendidikan. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan memperkenalkan keterampilan berpikir reflektif pada guru pendidik anak usia dini seraya membangun pola pembiasaan bagi guru untuk menggunakan keterampilan berpikir reflektif tersebut dalam rangka meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogi perdamaian untuk diterapkan dalam lingkungan kerja sehari-hari. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merupakan salah satu wujud implementasi Tri Dharma yang dikemas dalam bentuk kegiatan Lokakarya dengan menggunakan strategi Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Metodologi kegiatan mengikuti model fasilitasi A.P.P.L.E (Assess, Plan, Prepare, Lead, Evaluate). Hasil lokakarya pengenalan berpikir reflektif guru yaitu mengalami peningkatan yaitu dari kategori cukup baik menjadi sangat baik.

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk dasar pengembangan anak secara holistik. Dalam menghadapi tantangan zaman modern, diperlukan pendekatan inovatif dan model pendidikan yang berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kualitas PAUD. Melalui pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang pendekatan inovatif dan model berkelanjutan dalam pendidikan anak usia dini, diharapkan kita dapat mengidentifikasi strategi terbaik yang dapat diterapkan dalam praktik pendidikan sehari-hari. Selain itu, model berkelanjutan yang melibatkan partisipasi komunitas, kerjasama dengan orang tua, dan pendekatan holistik yang mencakup aspek lingkungan, sosial, dan ekonomi, membantu menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang berkelanjutan dan mendukung perkembangan anak secara menyeluruh, model ini juga memastikan bahwa pendidikan anak usia dini tidak hanya berfokus pada pencapaian akademik, tetapi juga pada pengembangan nilai-nilai, keterampilan sosial, dan pemahaman tentang lingkungan yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan tinjauan literatur sistematis (SLR) terhadap pendekatan inovatif dan model berkelanjutan dalam transformasi pendidikan anak usia dini. Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of school-based family counseling (SBFC) implementation at the early childhood education level. Using a descriptive exploratory method, data was collected through observation, scheduling, structured interviews, and documentation study techniques. The research was carried out at TK LabSchool UPI Campus in Serang. The research subjects comprised the school principal, teachers, parents of students, and counselors. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively using an interactive model that included data display, reduction, and generalization. The study's results revealed the following findings: (1) The school-based family counseling conducted at TK LabSchool UPI Campus in Serang is a formal activity in psychotherapy intervention using a family system perspective, implemented in the school using school facilities and infrastructure. Each session is conducted in the form of a dyad (consisting of one parent and one child), a triad (two parents and one child), or a small group (two parents, one child, and one or more relatives outside the nuclear family). Counseling is carried out with attention to individual rights and informed consent, usually conducted in more than one session, and is not a parent conference or parent consultation. (2) The school must meet several requirements before implementing SBFC. (3) The study on the implementation of SBFC at the early childhood education level raises several considerations and challenges for future research.

Abstract

Peningkatan literasi finansial pada anak usia dini merupakan aspek krusial dalam membentuk pemahaman mereka terhadap keuangan sejak dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki efektivitas penggunaan poster sebagai media edukasi dalam meningkatkan literasi finansial anak usia dini. Dalam penelitian ini, poster disusun secara kreatif dan menarik perhatian anak-anak melalui gambar, warna, dan narasi yang sederhana. Metode pengajaran melalui poster ini diterapkan dalam lingkungan pendidikan anak usia dini selama periode tertentu. Evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengukur pemahaman dan peningkatan literasi finansial anak-anak setelah intervensi poster. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan poster berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman mereka terkait konsep dasar keuangan, termasuk pengelolaan uang dan nilai-nilai ekonomi sederhana. Poster menjadi alat yang efektif dalam memberikan konsep keuangan secara menyenangkan dan mudah dicerna bagi anak-anak usia dini.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling services primarily aim to anticipate any potential misbehavior at the Early Childhood Education (ECE) level. Hence, it is necessary to design a comprehensive model of guidance and counseling which is philosophically, contextually, empirically, and culturally suit Indonesian system of formal education. The present study served as one of basic research which is attempted to depict early childhood teachers and educators’ perspectives on the implementation of guidance and counseling services in Raudhatul Athfal (RA) and Islamic Kindergarten (IK). To this end, a descriptive exploratory method was applied by involving early childhood educators from six RA and IK in Serang City. The data were collected using an open ended questionnaire, observation, interview, and study documentation and analyzed using the interactive analysis model consisting of three stages: data display, data reduction, and generalization. The findings indicated that, in general, although participants in this study considered guidance and counseling services important for preschool children, they had not understood the mechanism in implementing the services and the individual who should provide the services. Following the findings, a perceived ideal guidance and counseling model that suitable for the Islamic early childhood education is the model which is based on Islamic values derived from Al Quran and Sunnah of the Prophet.
