Data collection techniques using the method of observation. While the data analysis technique uses t-test, which has previously been tested for normality and homogeneity. The results showed that the average value of the experimental class was 58.24, while the control class was 56.5. From the results of the study found that the results of a significant value of 0.018 < 0.05. Then the results are obtained that there are differences in the average behavior of courtesy between children who are taught with the Javanese learning method through playing macro roles and children who are taught with the Javanese learning method through playing micro roles. Thus, the behavior of the children polite given the Javanese language learning method through playing macro roles is higher than the children who were given the Javanese learning method through micro role playing.

Abstract

Early writing is one of the needs needed in preparation for elementary school. Research and development carried out to develop learning media to improve the readiness of early writing for children 5-6 years in the city of Palembang. KUCERMAT media development is based on needs analysis. KUCERMAT media development uses the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). KUCERMAT Trial Media was carried out with a pre-experimental experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The number of respondents in the KUCERMAT media trial were 25 children. The results of the analysis of the difference in the total average of the pretest and posttest showed an increase in children's early writing by 22.81%. Then the statistical analysis of paired sample t-tests was calculated by using the IBM SPSS Statistics 22 obtained t count value of 17.777 with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0,000 to 0,000 <0.05. While the ttable value of 2.06 with n-1 = 24. Thus tcount> ttable so that it can be used to improve the KUCERMAT media effectively used to improve the readiness of early writing in children aged 5-6 years. Keywords: Writing readiness, Kindergarten, KUCERMAT Media AbstrakKesiapan menulis merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang dibutuhkan sebagai dasar persiapan menuju ke sekolah dasar. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the perceptions and motivations of kindergarten teachers regarding early childhood educator’s competency development. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires presented in google form format and enriched through in-depth interviews. The subjects in this study were 55 kindergarten teachers spread across Bali province. The data analysis technique of this research used the development of Miles and Huberman. The results of the study showed that teacher knowledge about educator’s competency was still lacking in depth. Most of the teachers considered the competence of educators only having ability in teaching. Based on perception, teachers who had certified competency have positive perception toward development of early childhood education. In terms of motivation, all teachers have high motivation in developing competence as early childhood education educators. Teachers who have been certified to improve the quality of learning lead to training in child development tasks, and certified teachers in addition to insight and skills in teaching are also preparation for participating in PPG programs in the future. The perception and motivation of early childhood education educators will greatly impact the quality of learning provided to early childhood. For this reason, early childhood education teachers must continue to be active and participatory in participating in various teacher competency development programs.

Abstract

Disciplinary behavior increases children's responsibility and self-control skills by encouraging mental, emotional and social growth. This behavior is also related to school readiness and future academic achievement. This study aims to look at read aloud with the media of large books in improving disciplinary behavior during early childhood. Participants were 20 children aged 5-6 years. By using qualitative methods as a classroom action research, data collection was carried out by observation, field notes, and documentation. The results of pre-cycle data showed that the discipline behavior of children increased to 42.6%. In the first cycle of intervention learning with ledger media, the percentage of children's discipline behavior increased to 67.05%, and in the second cycle, it increased again to 80.05%. Field notes found an increase in disciplinary behavior because children liked the media which was not like books in general. However, another key to successful behavior of the big book media story. Another important finding is the teacher's ability to tell stories to students or read books in a style that fascinates children. The hope of this intervention is that children can express ideas, insights, and be able to apply disciplinary behavior in their environment. Abstract

Contextual learning binds the content of the subjects in the classroom with the context of the children's daily lives. Learning in early childhood classes (0-8 years) is carried out using the thematic method, which combines several learning materials into one subject. Thematic teaching resources in early childhood classes are still limited in number and rely on textbooks provided by the government. This study aims to develop activity-based teaching materials to assess contextual thematic learning. This research method uses model development research by Borg and Gall with data collection techniques using panels and questionnaires on expert tests, one to one test, small-group test, and large-group test. The research data analysis technique used mixed methods, namely quantitative data tabulated in the form of percentages and described in the qualitative form. The expert test provides recommendations that the instrument can be used to assess student teaching materials and teacher guidance. Teaching materials and teacher guides are suitable for use, and further testing is carried out. Based on the results of the one-to-one test, small-group test, and large-group test, both teaching materials and teacher guides are readability and eligibility with an average of 85.00. The implication of this research, it is suggested that early childhood education institutions where the pilot can use teaching materials and teacher guides in developing and assessing activity-based contextual thematic learning for further research. Abstract

The unlimited exchange of information, culture, and art between countries causes cultural acculturation, which causes the loss of a culture in a country; one of the arts that are starting to be forgotten is the original Indonesian art, namely the art of wayang kulit. One of the efforts that can be made to overcome this problem is by utilizing art as a learning medium. Describe the planning and testing of the validity of digital wayang media products. This research belongs to the type of development research using the ADDIE development model. The research subjects were three expert judgments and 8 Kindergarten B children. The data collection in the study was carried out using observation, interview, and questionnaire methods, with the research instrument being a media validity test sheet. The data obtained in the study were analyzed using quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The results of the validity test showed that material experts who tested the feasibility of content, indicators, and planning in storyboards obtained a percentage of 75% with proper qualifications, learning media experts obtained a percentage of 96.00% with very decent qualifications, wayang art experts obtained a percentage of 91.60% with qualification is very feasible, field trials obtain a percentage of 83.50% with very good qualifications. Based on the results of this analysis, digital wayang media is very suitable for use in the learning process of early childhood, especially to foster love behavior for regional culture.

Abstract

Someone with good financial literacy can manage personal finances, which will eventually get prosperity. This research seeks to understand the relationship pattern of parents' financial socialization behavior in early childhood education. For this reason, two main variables are used: the parents' current financial literacy and parenting style. Respondents are parents who have children aged 6 to 8 years. Three hundred eighty-six samples were taken using online and offline survey methods through a self-administered questionnaire. Data collection in the study was carried out using a non-test method in the form of parental financial literacy questionnaire sheets, parenting styles, and parental financial socialization. Data analysis was performed using univariate analysis to get an overview of the respondent's profile. A simple regression analysis was followed by analyzing the relationship between financial literacy and parenting variables separately with financial socialization. Then the final stage is to test the third hypothesis using multiple regression analysis. The results of the data analysis show that the standard beta coefficient value is 0.508 for the financial literacy variable and 0.283 for the parenting style variable. The results of this analysis indicate a significant relationship between financial literacy and parenting style with the financial socialization parents provide to early childhood.
