Abstract

Domestic violence is actually any act against a person, especially women, which results in physical, sexual, psychological misery or suffering and/or neglect of the household including threats to commit acts, coercion or unlawful deprivation of liberty within the scope of the household. The purpose of this study is what form of restorative justice approach and efforts to implement the concept of restorative justice approach in handling cases of domestic violence. The research method used is a normative legal research method using a statutory and conceptual approach. The restorative justice approach is realized through dialogue between parties known as "Musyawarah Mufakat". and an approach through a penal mediation mechanism. The application of Settlement with restorative justice is in line with the theory of legal benefits and is in contrast to retaliation, namely a criminal sanction, namely the law must be measured from the good and bad consequences resulting from the application of the law.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation on the work discipline of employees in the marketing division of PT. DM Pekanbaru Branch. To achieve this goal, a study was conducted using a sample of 47 people, using the census method. Methods of data analysis using simple linear regression. Based on the test results on the motivation variable (X), the t-count is greater than the t-table (9.913 > 2.014). R2 of 0.686 (68.6%) explains that the motivational variable contributes to the influence of the work discipline of the employees of the Marketing Department of PT. DM Pekanbaru Branch of 68.6%. While the remaining 31.4% describes other independent variables not observed in this study. Recommendations that can be submitted It is expected that employees of PT. DM Pekanbaru Branch quickly adjusts to the work environment because this gets the lowest response from respondents.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of belief in God Almighty and social obedience in improving prayer time discipline in rural communities. Discipline in prayer time reflects faith and social awareness of religious values ​​prevalent in the community. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews and observations of rural communities with an Islamic religious background. The results show that a strong belief in God Almighty encourages individuals to be more consistent and punctual in performing prayers. Furthermore, social norms and pressures in rural communities play a significant role in shaping collective adherence to prayer times. The combination of spiritual awareness and social obedience creates religious harmony that strengthens the community's discipline in carrying out religious obligations.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to apply the brute-force algorithm to a prototype information retrieval system (IRS) to obtain book search results more quickly. This improves the effectiveness and efficiency of the book search process. The study uses the brute-force string-matching algorithm and a prototyping approach for IRS development. Results show the algorithm efficiently supports book searches in school libraries. Tests yield faster book searches, with average search times of 0.0003988 seconds for one pattern and 0.00040125 seconds for two patterns. Developers successfully designed the IRS prototype using the algorithm. The system also proves more effective and efficient in providing book search information, with an average feasibility percentage of 95.59%. Evaluators rated the IRS 'Very Feasible' for book searches in school libraries using the brute-force algorithm. This research significantly contributes to more effective and efficient book searches in school libraries by applying artificial intelligence (AI) through an IRS.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan algoritma brute force pada prototipe aplikasi information retrieval system (IRS) untuk mendapatkan hasil pencarian buku dengan lebih cepat, meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pada proses pencarian buku. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan algoritma brute force yang merupakan algoritma string matching dan metode pengembangan aplikasi IRS menggunakan pendekatan prototyping. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa algoritma brute force dapat diterapkan pada IRS untuk pencarian buku di perpustakaan sekolah. Berdasarkan pengujian, diperoleh hasil pencarian buku yang lebih cepat dengan rata-rata waktu yang dibutuhkan dalam melakukan pencarian pencarian 0.0003988 detik pada pengujian 1 pattern dan 0.00040125 detik pada pengujian 2 pattern. Prototipe IRS yang dikembangkan telah berhasil dirancang dengan penerapan algoritma tersebut. Selain itu sistem ini terbukti lebih efektif dan efisien dalam memberikan informasi terkait pencarian buku, dengan hasil perhitungan rata-rata persentase kelayakan sebesar 95.59%, yang menunjukkan bahwa IRS dinyatakan “Sangat Layak” sebagai sebuah information retrieval system untuk pencarian buku di perpustakaan sekolah. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan efektifitas dan efisiensi pencarian buku di perpustakaan sekolah melalui penerapan artificial intelligence (AI) dalam bentuk information retrieval system (IRS).

Abstract

The Objectives – This study aims to determine the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM) on Purchasing Decisions in TikTok Shop, 2) The influence of Customer Trust on Purchasing Decisions in TikTok Shop, 3) The influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM) & Customer Trust simultaneously on Purchasing Decisions in TikTok Shop. The Methods/approaches – Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Asosiatif kausal. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner offline yang disebarkan secara langsung dan kuesioner online melalui Google Form. Setiap variabel diukur dengan skala Likert kemudian diolah melalui SPSS 25 dimana analisis data yang tepat ialah analisis regresi linear berganda, uji t-parsial, dan uji F, dan uji koefisien detrminan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan sampel akhir 81 responden mengggunakan rumus slovin. The Results – The results of the study indicate that electronic word of mouth and customer trust partially influence purchasing decisions. These two variables form a strong synergy in creating confidence and a sense of security when shopping at TikTok Shop. Therefore, it can be concluded that e-WOM and customer trust simultaneously act as important determinants in driving purchasing decisions of STIE Makassar Maju students. The Research Implications – This research contributes to the understanding of consumer behavior in social commerce, particularly on TikTok Shop. TikTok Shop needs to improve the quality of review content by encouraging buyers to provide more detailed reviews, demonstrating integrity by sending products as described, strengthening their ability to provide prompt service, and maintaining sincere communication to ensure consumers feel safe and comfortable shopping.

Abstract

Moral degradation in the younger generation is one of the causes of social and religious deviation. The existence of the IPM organization as a forum for implementing interests and talents based on religious values. HDI cadre formation is a transformative effort to create a generation that has a formal cadre level that is in line with Muhammadiyah goals. Field research (field research) is a method of collecting data in qualitative research that does not require in-depth knowledge of the literature used and certain abilities on the part of the researcher. The place for carrying out cadre activities at the Ahlu Shuffah Islamic Boarding School, Bantaeng Regency. The target of this activity is equal students who are at the Ahlu Shuffah Islamic Boarding School, Bantaeng. The cadre process is an effort to realize the ideals, namely the formation of knowledgeable, noble, and skilled Muslim students in the context of upholding and upholding the values of Islamic teachings so that a true Islamic society is realized with the spirit of Fatabiqul khairat. This is in accordance with Azaki Khoirudin's theory that the IPM cadre system actually uses the tarbiyah and da'wah methods which are presented based on the facts on the ground capable of provoking the criticality of the participants in providing responsive and constructive ideas.

Abstract

Penyalahgunaan narkotika di kalangan pelajar merupakan permasalahan serius yang dapat mengancam kesehatan, masa depan generasi muda, serta stabilitas sosial masyarakat. Fenomena ini menunjukkan bahwa kelompok usia remaja merupakan kelompok yang rentan terhadap pengaruh lingkungan sosial yang dapat mendorong terjadinya penyalahgunaan narkotika. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya pencegahan yang efektif melalui peran aparat penegak hukum, khususnya kepolisian, dalam meningkatkan kesadaran hukum dan melakukan pengawasan terhadap potensi penyalahgunaan narkotika di lingkungan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas upaya pencegahan tindak pidana narkotika di kalangan pelajar yang dilakukan oleh Kepolisian Daerah Sulawesi Selatan serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan hukum empiris dengan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari aparat Kepolisian Daerah Sulawesi Selatan yang terlibat dalam kegiatan pencegahan narkotika. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara tidak terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi proses pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkotika di kalangan pelajar dilakukan melalui tiga pendekatan utama, yaitu upaya pre-emtif melalui kegiatan penyuluhan dan edukasi kepada pelajar, upaya preventif melalui pengawasan dan pelaksanaan tes urine di lingkungan sekolah, serta upaya represif melalui tindakan penegakan hukum terhadap pelaku penyalahgunaan narkotika. Efektivitas pelaksanaan upaya tersebut dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal seperti keterbatasan sumber daya manusia dan anggaran operasional, serta faktor eksternal seperti rendahnya tingkat kesadaran masyarakat dan kurangnya pengawasan dari orang tua terhadap pergaulan pelajar.

Abstract

Analysis of the Effect of Reward and Punishment Systems on Employee Performance at PT Bintang Internasional Makassar, The main focus of this study is to determine whether the implemented reward and punishment systems can have a positive impact on improving employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. This study used a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 53 respondents and analyzed using SPSS software. The results showed that the reward variable had a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance. Punishment also did not show a significant effect on performance. Simultaneously, rewards and punishment did not significantly influence employee performance, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 6.7%. This indicates that both variables can only explain a small portion of the variation in employee performance, while the majority is influenced by factors outside the model. These findings provide a basis for management to conduct a more comprehensive evaluation of performance improvement strategies.

Abstract

Ecotourism is one of environmentally friendly tourism activities which prioritizes the aspects of nature conservation, social economic culture empowerment and aspects of learning and education. Bira village, located in the coast of Makassar, has a good mangrove potential and it can be developed as a place of mangrove ecotourism. This research aimed to analyze the potential of ecology, socio-economic and supporting infrastructure for the eligibility of developing Mangrove ecotourism at Bira village of Makassar. The research design used was survey research which was descriptive analysis through case study approach. The method used was quantitative and qualitative approach. Quantitative approach used questionnaire method while qualitative approach used in-depth interview technique and field observation. Data obtained was analyzed by weighting method, spatial analysis and AHP. The results showed that the criteria of ecological eligibility included in the category was the value of 73.99; the category of socioeconomic eligibility was in accordance with the value of 81.55 and the eligibility criteria of supporting infrastructure included in the category in accordance with the acquisition value was 77.93.Keywords: ecotourism, eligibility criteria, mangrove.
