Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted the increasing consumption of vegetables and fruit because they contain lots of vitamins and minerals to increase endurance. The purpose of community service activities is to diversify processed vegetables and fruits to increase selling value. The activity's target is to improve vegetable and fruit processing skills. The output of the activity is the diversification of processed vegetables and fruit. The target of the activity is women farmers who are members of the Kampung Domba Synergy Cooperative. Stages of activity include: 1). The preparatory stage, namely the manufacture of vegetable and fruit processing modules; 2). The implementation phase, namely vegetable and fruit processing training; 3). Evaluation Phase, in the form of pre-test and post-test related to knowledge of processing vegetables and fruit. Community service activities in collaboration with the Kampung Domba Synergy Cooperative (SiKado) and the Cirebon Regency Agricultural Institute Alumni Association (HA IPB). Community service activities were carried out for two days. The first day's activity was the presentation of material on the development of the food product business by the Alumni Association of IPB Cirebon Regency, followed by the presentation of material on the design of food product packaging by the Kampung Domba Synergy Cooperative and material on the processing of vegetables and fruit by the Community Service Team. Based on the pre-test and post-test on the participants' knowledge of vegetable and fruit processing, the average score was 78.0 (fair category) and 84.1 (good category), respectively, with an increase of 6.1 points. The second day's activity was training in processing and evaluating the preferences of processed fruit and vegetable products, and 71.4% of the products (5 out of 7 products) received an overall rating of 4 (liked) by the panelists, namely es puter cucumber suri, spinach sticks, kale sticks, corn tortillas and candied kolang kaling.

Abstract

Religious Figures As Adhesives for Inter-religious Harmony in Toraja, starting from the phenomenon that the Toraja people, specifically the southern Toraja bordering the Enrekang area, which is predominantly Muslim, is a plural society from generation to generation while maintaining harmony between religious communities, especially Christian Muslims. This harmony has never been shaken by sara issues like in some other places. One of the glues is the religious leaders themselves. As the focus of this research, a research question was formulated, namely how religious figures play a role in gluing harmony between religious communities. These problems are studied using the theory of pluralism. Meanwhile, for field data, qualitative research methods were used, namely by observing with the aim of obtaining information about how the role of religious leaders in gluing inter-religious harmony. As a research finding, the role of religious leaders in gluing tolerance between religious communities, especially Christian Muslims in Toraja, is that religious leaders are able to act as role models or role models, coaches and are able to act as leaders for every community.ABSTRAKTokoh Agama Sebagai Perekat Kerukunan Antar Umat Beragama di Toraja, bertitik tolak dari fenomena bahwa masyarakat Toraja secara khusus Toraja bagian selatan yang berbatasan dengan daerah Enrekang yang mayoritas muslim adalah masyarakat majemuk dari turun temurun tetap memelihara kerukunan antar umat beragama khususnya Islam Kristen. Kerukunan tersebut tidak pernah tergoyahkan oleh isu-isu sara seperti di beberapa tempat lainnya. Salah satu perekat adalah tokoh agama sendiri. Sebagai focus penelitian ini dirumuskan question research yaitu bagaimana Tokoh Agama berperan dalam merekatkan kerukunan antar umat beragama. Permasalahan tersebut dikaji dengan menggunakan teori pluralisme. Sementara untuk data lapangan digunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yaitu dengan mengamati dan juga melalui wawancara bersama informan dengan tujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang peran tokoh agama dalam merekatkan kerukunan antar umat beragama. Sebagai temuan penelitian bahwa peran tokoh agama dalam merekatkan toleransi antar umat beragama khususnya Kristen Islam di Toraja adalah tokoh agama mampu berperan sebagai teladan atau panutan, Pembina serta mampu berperan sebagai pemimpin bagi setiap uma

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pandangan mahasiswa Sulawesi Selatan di masa pandemi terhadap pengaruh Budaya Tabe’ dalam menjaga kerukunan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan studi pustaka dan kuesioner untuk mengumpulkan data. Kuesioner dalam bentuk survei Google Forms diberikan kepada mahasiswa Sulawesi Selatan, khususnya anggota Unit Kesenian Sulawesi Selatan ITB. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden menganggap Budaya Tabe’ sebagai budaya warisan yang penting untuk dilestarikan dan tetap relevan terhadap perkembangan zaman. Penerapan Budaya Tabe’ secara maksimal dapat meningkatkan kerukunan dan mengurangi konflik dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Penelitian ini bermanfaat untuk memberikan informasi mengenai pandangan mahasiswa Sulawesi Selatan, khususnya anggota Unit Kesenian Sulawesi Selatan ITB terhadap Budaya Tabe’, serta dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu dasar pertimbangan pengambilan keputusan yang menyangkut upaya pelestarian kebudayaan lokal untuk menjaga kerukunan kehidupan bermasyarakat.

Abstract

Sewage sludge is a major by-product of the wastewater biological treatment process. Wastewater Treatment Plants at Palm Oil Mills (PKS) produce a lot of sewage sludge and until now it has not been optimally utilized. This study aims to examine the potential of PKS sewage sludge as an adsorbent for the removal of kromium (Cr) by the fixed bed column method. The study will also analyze the effect of recirculation on the reduction of kromium levels. The sludge was carbonized in a furnace at 300°C for 2 hours. Synthetic kromium wastewater was made at three concentrations of 2000 ppm, 3000 ppm, and 4000 ppm. The sludge adsorbent used was 100 grams which was filled into the fix bed column. Recirculation of kromium wastewater was performed 3 times. Adsorption isotherms were analyzed using Langmuir and Freundlich models. The results showed that the best removal without recirculation occurred at a kromium concentration of 3000 ppm with a removal efficiency of 48.07%. Furthermore, recirculation was carried out 3 times and resulted in varying removal values at the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd recirculation of 37.9%, 40.06% and 35.4%. The highest removal occurred in the second recirculation. The addition of recirculation led to a decrease in the sorption of chrome as the adsorbent had reached saturation point. This allows the release of kromium ions that have been adsorbed and causes the removal efficiency to decrease. A suitable adsorption isotherm model for sludge adsorbent is the Langmuir model, where the adsorption process occurs in a single layer and is homogeneous.

Abstract

Dodol Boga Rasa merupakan salah satu UMKM yang bergerak dibidang Industri Rumah Tangga (IRT) dodol Tenjo. Lokasi IRT ini berada di Kecamatan Tenjo, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat, sebuah daerah yang telah lama dikenal sebagai sentra produksi dodol berkualitas. Saat ini Dodol Tenjo Boga Rasa memiliki beberapa rasa, yaitu original, wijen, lapis karamel. Dodol Tenjo Boga Rasa memerlukan pengembangan varian baru yang lebih inovatif dan digemari oleh konsumen dapat dikembangkan, salah satunya adalah produk dodol duren. Dodol duren merupakan makanan tradisional yang dibuat dari tepung ketan dan ditambahkan dengan buah durian asli, yang bahan dasarnya mudah ditemukan di berbagai daerah diwilayah Kabupaten Bogor.Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) di Dodol Tenjo Boga Rasa, dilakukan dengan menggunakan "Diskusi interaktif antara narasumber dan peserta, disertai dengan observasi, bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan proses pengolahan dan pemanfaatan buah durian menjadi produk dodol Tenjo boga rasa yang berkualitas dan rasa durian. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberi inspirasi bagi mahasiswa Fakuktas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Tangerang Raya dalam rangka mengembangkan produk pangan lokal dan mengembangkan jiwa wirausaha bagi mahasiswa, serta dapat memperluas jangkauan pemasaran dan meningkatkan penjualan dodol tenjo, khususnya dodol Tenjo Boga Rasa.

Abstract

Musicmathematics is the integration of mathematical principles in music, offering a new approach in contemporary music composition. This study arises from the urgency to understand the impact of musicmathematics on the art ecosystem holistically, encompassing cultural, social, economic, educational, legal, and technological aspects. The research employs document analysis and audiovisual analysis methods to identify patterns, relationships, and the influence of musicmathematics on various elements of the art ecosystem. The study is based on the art ecosystem theory by Becker (1982), which emphasizes the interaction between art actors and social structures, and Benoît Mandelbrot’s fractal theory (1989), which observes recurring patterns in music structures. Additionally, the concept of dynamic culture (Geertz, 1973a) is used to understand cultural transformation through the application of mathematical innovations. The results of the research indicate that musicmathematics significantly contributes to music composition innovation, despite facing challenges in social acceptance and commercialization. Culturally, musicmathematics creates tension between innovation and tradition; socially, this genre forms a limited experimental community; and in education, it enriches curricula with analytical approaches facilitated by technology. The study concludes that musicmathematics holds great potential in supporting the transformation of contemporary arts, particularly through strengthening education and technology. However, adaptive strategies are needed to increase the acceptance of this concept in a broader art ecosystem. Abstract

In the digital era, the regional tourism sector is required to continuously innovate in providing information and services to tourists, including promoting the potential of local culinary tourism. This research aims to design and develop an Android-based local culinary tourism application as an effort to support increased tourist visits to the region. The development method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD), which is considered capable of producing applications with a fast, flexible, and adaptive development process to user needs. The application provides a search feature for nearby culinary locations, recommendations for popular restaurants, travel route maps, and user reviews, supporting a more informative and interactive culinary tourism experience. Testing was conducted through several stages, from unit testing to system testing, to ensure each feature operates according to specifications. The development results indicate that this application can help tourists find culinary information practically while also supporting local culinary businesses in promoting their products digitally. It is hoped that this application can support increasing the attractiveness of culinary tourism in the region, strengthening the local tourism ecosystem, and making a significant contribution to the growth of the technology-based creative economy.
