Abstract

This School Action Research (PTS) aims to improve teacher skills in applying innovative learning models through ongoing coaching activities. The research subjects were 9 teachers at SDN 014 Tanjung Selor. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. Analysis with triangulation technique. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there was an increase in teacher skills from the initial conditions as many as 8 teachers were declared not to have skills in applying good innovative learning methods or 0% with an average rating of 48.67, increasing to 4 teachers or 44.44% in the first cycle with an average value of 68.84 and 100% in the second cycle with an average value of 88.80. The explanation of the value criteria from the initial conditions was LESS, increased to ENOUGH and GOOD in the last cycle.

Abstract

International Maritime Organization (IMO) provided manoeuvrability standards for all ships above 100 m to ensure the ship's safety and surroundings. In the preliminary design stage, one way to ensure a ship's manoeuvrability under IMO standards is to use empirical methods that are cheaper and less time-consuming than model tests. Empirical methods used analysis regression to develop their formula from the model test result database, and their formula depends on ship hull parameters and dimension ratios such as , , , and . However, the database of the existing empirical formulas is limited to small-medium merchant ships and fishing vessels, as consequences for larger ships are inaccurate and have a significant error in predicting ship manoeuvres. This study modified the existing empirical formulas by adding specified ship data into the existing database and analyzing the accuracy of predicting ship manoeuvres using the Maneuvering Modelling Group (MMG) model. We verify by adding the selected ship data into the existing database, which shows improvement in predicting ship manoeuvres. The modified formulas show improvement by only giving 5% RMSE of tactical diameter and 3% RMSE of ship advance in turning manoeuvre, and this is a 78% overall improvement in predicting the turning motion of ultra-large container ships compared to previous formulas. The quantitative and qualitative produce better estimation result that indicates the right track to derive the empirical formulas for Ultra-Large Container ships.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and analyze: (1) Work Discipline (2) Work Motivation; (3) performance; and (4) The influence of work discipline and work motivation on the performance of Level II Hospital Medical Rehabilitation employees 03.05.01. Dustira Cimahi City, both simultaneously and partially. The research method used in this research is a descriptive survey and an explanatory survey, the unit of analysis in this research is the employees of the Medical Rehabilitation Hospital Level II 03.05.01. Dustira Cimahi City with a sample of 30 people. The type of investigation is causality, and the time horizon in this research is cross-sectional. Based on the research results, it was found that Work Discipline for Level II Hospital Medical Rehabilitation employees 03.05.01. Dustira Cimahi City, apparently employees gave good responses, Work Motivation for Level II Hospital Medical Rehabilitation employees 03.05.01. Dustira Cimahi City can generally be said to be good, employee performance at Level II Hospital Medical Rehabilitation employees 03.05.01. Cimahi City's Dustira is currently considered good. Work Discipline and Work Motivation simultaneously influence the performance of Level II Hospital Medical Rehabilitation employees 03.05.01. Dustira Cimahi City. However, work discipline partially influences employee performance more than work motivation. Because work discipline predominantly influences performance, it is the first priority in improving employee performance. then the Level II Hospital Medical Rehabilitation employee 03.05.01. Cimahi City Dustira are advised to consistently maintain existing work discipline, so that they are able to work more professionally.

Abstract

Background: The literature on perinatal diagnosis, management, and follow-up of cystic renal diseases reflects a significant evolution in clinical practices, driven by advancements in imaging technology and a deeper understanding of renal anomalies. The studies reviewed highlight the critical role of prenatal ultrasonography in identifying urinary tract anomalies, which account for a notable percentage of congenital conditions. Literature Review: Together, these studies illustrate a comprehensive landscape of research surrounding cystic renal diseases, emphasizing the critical interplay between prenatal diagnosis, management strategies, and postnatal outcomes. The evolving understanding of these conditions underscores the importance of continued research and refinement of clinical practices to enhance prognostic counseling and improve patient care. Conclusion: The collective insights from these studies underscore the importance of early detection and tailored management strategies in improving outcomes for affected infants. The integration of advanced imaging techniques and a multidisciplinary approach is essential for enhancing prognostic counseling and guiding clinical decision-making. Continued research is necessary to refine these practices and address the complexities associated with cystic renal diseases.

Abstract

Jahe merah menjadi salah satu tanaman herbal yang paling banyak dicari karena berkhasiat memperkuat imunitas. Hal tersebut berdampak pada tingginya permintaan jahe merah. Sehingga, menuntut kelompok wanita tani Desa Sindangjawa untuk memproduksi olahan jahe merah sesuai kebutuhan pasar. Namun, permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah kelompok wanita tani baru memulai budidaya tanaman jahe merah. Solusi permasalahan tersebut yaitu pelatihan pengolahan jahe merah dan kewirausahaan. Tujuan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dalam menghasilkan olahan jahe merah yang bervariasi dan memiliki nilai jual lebih tinggi. Tahapan kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah: 1). Tahap persiapan (Pembuatan modul pengolahan jahe merah), 2). Tahap pelaksanaan (Pelatihan pengolahan jahe merah dan kewirausahaan), dan 3). Tahap Evaluasi (Pre-test dan post-test pengetahuan jahe merah dan rencana tindak lanjut). Kegiatan dihadiri oleh anggota kelompok wanita tani, kepala desa dan perangkat desa, perwakilan Himpunan Alumni Institut Pertanian Bogor Kabupaten Cirebon dan jurnalis media online. Kegiatan hari pertama adalah pemaparan materi tentang jahe merah dan kewirausahaan, sedangkan kegiatan hari kedua adalah demonstrasi pengolahan jahe merah. Hasil pelatihan bagi kelompok wanita tani dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan dalam pengolahan jahe merah dan berwirausaha. Hampir semua produk olahan jahe merah seperti serbuk instan jahe merah, bubuk jahe merah, permen jahe merah  dinilai suka sedangkan manisan jahe merah kering dapat dinilai  biasa saja.  Berdasarkan hasil penilaian tersebut produk olahan jahe merah dapat dikembangkan  dalam skala komersil.Red ginger is one of the most sought-after herbal plants because it can strengthen immunity. This has an impact on the high demand for red ginger. So, they are demanding the Sindangjawa Village women's farmer group to produce processed red ginger according to market needs. However, the problem faced is that the group of women farmers has just started cultivating red ginger plants. The solution to this problem is training in red ginger processing and entrepreneurship. The training aims to improve skills in producing processed red ginger that is varied and has a higher selling value. The stages of activities carried out are: 1). Preparation stage, 2). Implementation stage, and 3). Evaluation Phase. The activity was attended by members of women's farming groups, village heads, and officials, representatives of the Himpunan Alumni IPB Kabupaten Cirebon, and online media journalists. The first day's activity was a presentation of material about red ginger and entrepreneurship, while the second day's activity was a demonstration of red ginger processing. The results of the training for the women farmers' group improved their knowledge and skills in red ginger processing and entrepreneurship. Almost all red ginger products such as red ginger instant powder, red ginger powder, and red ginger candy were rated as favorable while dried red ginger sweets were rated as average.  Based on the results of the assessment, red ginger products can be developed on a commercial scale.

Abstract

Era digital yang semakin hari semakin berkembang dengan cepat hampir digunakan pada setiap aspek manusia seperti e-government, e-bussiness, e-education.Pemanfaatan google site dalam dunia pendidikan sangat berguna di era teknologi yang semakin maju ini. Melihat perkembangan yang cukup pesat ini penulis ingin melakukan pengabdian masyrakat kepada anak-anak usia sekolah agar dappat memenfaatkan teknologi salah satunya adalah google site. Pelatihan tersebut terlaksana pada Kamis, 16 Mei 2024 jam 14.00 – 16.00 secara offline si SMTK Setia Jakarta. Peserta dihadiri sebnayak 21 siswa yang dipilih oleh pihak sekolah. Pelatihan terdiri dari permainan ringan, pemaparan, Tanya jawab, dan evaluasi. Hasil pelatihan dikatakan berhasil dikarenakan antusias dan peran aktif dari peserta. Kami memberikan apresiasi kepada peserta yang aktif. Hasil evaluasi peserta menyatakan acara sangat bermanfaat dan meminta untuk adanya pelatihan pembuatan website sederhana.

Abstract

Arus globalisasi kini sedang meningkat di seluruh dunia, fenomena ini juga memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap kehidupan manusia saat ini. Arus globalisasi ini membawa beragam produk mulai dari teknologi yang semakin canggih, perubahan budaya dalam satu negara, bahkan hingga perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan pendekatan mengajar yang semakin inovatif dan modern. Jadi, globalisasi ini memiliki banyak sekali dampak positif dan negatif yang tentu saja harus kita perhatikan adalah dampak positifnya. Namun, masih ada saja manusia-manusia yang terjebak dalam arus globalisasi ini dan menuju ke jalan yang salah. Sebagian besar yang terdampar dalam aliran globalisasi ini merupakan anak-anak dan remaja di era ini. Peran pendidikan memegang peranan yang sangat penting untuk keberlanjutan dan menjaga diri manusia dari dampak makin kejamnya arus globalisasi. Salah satu hal penting yang bisa ditanamkan, terutama kepada anak-anak di Sekolah Dasar, adalah pendidikan mengenai nilai-nilai Pancasila. Di mana peran Pancasila ini berupaya untuk memberitahukan nilai-nilai terbaik yang harus dipatuhi dan melindungi diri dari dampak negatif globalisasi yang semakin tidak terbendung. Disebabkan peran Pancasila sebagai benteng melawan pengaruh arus globalisasi, pembangunan semangat kebangsaan di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar adalah sangat penting untuk memastikan anak-anak memahami pentingnya mencintai tanah air. Oleh karena itu, peran Pancasila serta pembangunan rasa nasionalisme pada era globalisasi ini sangatlah krusial bagi siswa sekolah dasar. Hal ini perlu ditanamkan sedini mungkin agar generasi berikutnya dapat menjaga pergaulan di tengah arus globalisasi.

Abstract

The Association of Indonesian Life Insurance Companies (AAJI) has encouraged insurance companies to apply environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles in their business activities. However, insurance companies in Indonesia generally have not fully implemented sustainability principles in their operational activities due to the uncertainty of increased fi rm values after the implementation. One way to communicate the company's sustainability steps is through the sustainability report (SR), which the Financial Services Authority (OJK) obliged. Although the guidelines had already been prepared in 2021, the depth and breadth of the disclosure depend on each company. Previous studies found that several factors aff ect SR disclosure. This study aims to investigate the role of profi tability and fi rm size as determinants of SR disclosure and the eff ect of SR disclosure on company value. The sample of this study was 15 insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) that routinely published SR during the 2021-2023 period. The data was processed using Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) through SmartPLS ver—3 software. The results of this study show that (1) profi tability has a positive eff ect on SR disclosure, (2) company size has a positive eff ect on SR disclosure, and (3) company size has a positive eff ect on company value.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of different types of post-exercise drinks on rehydration in pencak silat athletes. Prolonged exercise in hot environments leads to physiological changes due to depleted glycogen stores and fluid-electrolyte loss through sweat. The aim of this study was to analyze the average difference between the effects of young coconut water (Cocos nucifera) and commercial isotonic drinks on the rehydration process. This experimental research involved dividing subjects into two treatment groups: Group 1 received young coconut water, while Group 2 received a commercially available isotonic drink. Dehydration status was assessed through measurements of body weight, urine pH, and urine specific gravity. Paired t-tests were used to analyze within-group differences before and after treatment, while unpaired t-tests compared differences between groups. The average fluid intake for rehydration was 1062.5 ml. Fluid administration had a significant effect on dehydration status (p < 0.05). A significant increase in urine pH was observed: 1.63 for coconut water and 0.97 for isotonic drinks. These results indicate a difference in the effectiveness of coconut water and isotonic drinks on hydration recovery.

Abstract

Jadi, globalisasi ini memiliki banyak sekali dampak positif dan negatif yang tentu saja harus kita perhatikan adalah dampak positifnya. Namun, masih ada saja manusia-manusia yang terjebak dalam arus globalisasi ini dan menuju ke jalan yang salah. Sebagian besar yang terdampar dalam aliran globalisasi ini merupakan anak-anak dan remaja di era ini. Peran pendidikan memegang peranan yang sangat penting untuk keberlanjutan dan menjaga diri manusia dari dampak makin kejamnya arus globalisasi. Salah satu hal penting yang bisa ditanamkan, terutama kepada anak-anak di Sekolah Dasar, adalah pendidikan mengenai nilai-nilai Pancasila. Di mana peran Pancasila ini berupaya untuk memberitahukan nilai-nilai terbaik yang harus dipatuhi dan melindungi diri dari dampak negatif globalisasi yang semakin tidak terbendung. Disebabkan peran Pancasila sebagai benteng melawan pengaruh arus globalisasi, pembangunan semangat kebangsaan di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar adalah sangat penting untuk memastikan anak-anak memahami pentingnya mencintai tanah air. Oleh karena itu, peran Pancasila serta pembangunan rasa nasionalisme pada era globalisasi ini sangatlah krusial bagi siswa sekolah dasar. Hal ini perlu ditanamkan sedini mungkin agar generasi berikutnya dapat menjaga pergaulan di tengah arus globalisasi.
