Abstract

ABSTRACT The financial literacy mentorship program, which is focused on outdoor classroom activities at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Program Khusus (MIM PK) 1 Sindon Boyolali, was initiated in response to elementary school pupils' lack of understanding of financial management. Many youngsters prioritize wants above needs and fail to understand the necessity of financial management at a young age. The program aims to improve kids' financial literacy through hands-on experiences and outdoor learning, while simultaneously raising environmental consciousness. The program employs a variety of tactics, including modeling buying and selling using toy money and veggies, sowing vegetable seeds in recycled plastic bottles, and organizing a Market Day where kids sell their produce. Students are taught the fundamentals of transactions, financial planning, and simple entrepreneurship. University students enrolled in the Accounting Education and Elementary School Teacher Education programs also mentor and assess the learning process. The program's results demonstrate that students' financial literacy improved significantly, with an average rise of 1.5 points between the pre-test and the post-test. Aside from financial literacy, kids learn the value of environmental stewardship through horticultural activities. This program successfully improves students' understanding of financial literacy while establishing environmentally conscious ideals.Keywords: financial literacy, outdoor classroom, green school, muhammadiyah elementary schoolABSTRAK Program pendampingan literasi keuangan berbasis kelas alam di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Program Khusus (MIM PK) 1 Sindon Boyolali dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar mengenai pengelolaan keuangan. Banyak siswa cenderung lebih fokus pada keinginan dibandingkan kebutuhan, serta belum memahami pentingnya mengelola keuangan sejak dini. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan literasi keuangan siswa melalui pengalaman langsung dan pendekatan berbasis kelas alam, serta menanamkan kesadaran ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan berbagai metode, seperti simulasi jual beli menggunakan uang dan sayuran mainan, penanaman bibit sayuran di galon plastik bekas, serta Market Day yang melibatkan penjualan hasil panen. Siswa diajarkan konsep dasar transaksi, perencanaan keuangan, dan kewirausahaan sederhana. Mahasiswa dari Prodi Pendidikan Akuntansi dan PGSD juga terlibat dalam pendampingan dan evaluasi proses pembelajaran. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan literasi keuangan siswa, dengan rata-rata peningkatan skor dari pretest sebesar 1,5 poin pada posttest. Selain peningkatan literasi keuangan, siswa juga belajar tentang pentingnya menjaga lingkungan melalui kegiatan bercocok tanam. Program ini berhasil memperkuat pemahaman siswa tentang literasi keuangan sekaligus menanamkan nilai-nilai peduli lingkungan.Kata kunci: literasi keuangan, sekolah alam, sekolah hijau, madrasah ibtidaiyah muhammadiyah

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe uncontrolled use of gadgets by children has become a serious challenge for parents, especially in managing time and monitoring technology usage at home. This community service program aims to strengthen the role of parents in Dawung Village, Matesih District, Karanganyar Regency, in supervising gadget use and improving children’s time management skills. This activity was conducted through socialization, education, and training in gadget monitoring technology applications. The program involved around 80 participants who were given a pre-test, material socialization, and a post-test to measure changes in understanding. The results showed a significant increase in parents' understanding of the importance of time management and gadget monitoring, with an average post-test improvement of 40%. Parents also adopted the introduced monitoring technology applications to facilitate digital oversight for their children. Additionally, active participation in group discussions helped strengthen social support and improved parents' practical skills in monitoring their children's gadget use. Challenges in maintaining consistent monitoring were addressed by recommending follow-up activities, such as online discussions and additional training. This program effectively improved parents' understanding and skills in managing children’s gadget use wisely. With this knowledge, parents are expected to guide their children toward positive and responsible technology use in everyday life.Keywords: Gadget monitoring, time management, parental role learningABSTRAKPenggunaan gadget yang tidak terkontrol pada anak-anak menjadi tantangan serius bagi orang tua, terutama dalam mengelola manajemen waktu dan pengawasan penggunaan teknologi di rumah. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat peran orang tua di Desa Dawung, Kecamatan Matesih, Kabupaten Karanganyar, dalam mengawasi penggunaan gadget dan meningkatkan keterampilan manajemen waktu pada anak-anak. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode sosialisasi, edukasi, dan pelatihan aplikasi teknologi pengawasan gadget. Program ini melibatkan sekitar 80 peserta yang diberikan pre-test, sosialisasi materi, serta post-test untuk mengukur perubahan pemahaman. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman orang tua terhadap pentingnya manajemen waktu dan pengawasan penggunaan gadget, dengan peningkatan rata-rata hasil post-test sebesar 40%. Orang tua juga mengadopsi aplikasi teknologi yang diajarkan untuk memudahkan pengawasan digital pada anak. Selain itu, partisipasi aktif dalam diskusi kelompok membantu memperkuat dukungan sosial dan meningkatkan keterampilan praktis orang tua dalam mengawasi gadget anak. Kendala dalam konsistensi penerapan pengawasan disikapi dengan merekomendasikan tindak lanjut berupa diskusi daring dan pelatihan tambahan. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan orang tua dalam mengelola penggunaan gadget oleh anak-anak secara bijak. Dengan pengetahuan ini, diharapkan orang tua dapat membimbing anak-anak mereka menuju penggunaan teknologi yang positif dan bertanggung jawab dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.Kata Kunci: Pengawasan gadget, manajemen waktu, peran orang tua

Abstract

                                                       ABSTRACTThis community service activity aims to enhance the skills and competencies of vocational high school (SMK) teachers in implementing the Student Profile Strengthening Project on Pancasila Values and Work Culture (P5BK), designed to provide tangible benefits for SMK stakeholders, particularly in fostering a strong work culture among students. The service model employed includes an intensive workshop followed by continuous training and mentoring for SMK teachers. The activity was conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Karanganyar with 50 teachers participating from four major study areas: Accounting and Financial Institutions (AKL), Office Management and Administration (OTKP), Digital Business and Marketing, and Culinary Arts. The workshop involved hands-on training to strengthen teachers' understanding and skills in applying this project within the school environment. Based on program evaluation, 86% of participants demonstrated a strong understanding of the P5BK concepts and goals during the presentation phase. Furthermore, the training and mentoring phase revealed that 80% of participants felt prepared and capable of implementing P5BK in their teaching activities. These results indicate that the community service activity successfully increased teachers’ readiness to support the strengthening of the student profile on Pancasila values and the development of an applicable and relevant work culture at SMK.Keywords: project for strengthening pancasila student profiles, work culture, vocational school                                                           ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan kompetensi guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) dalam melaksanakan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila dan Budaya Kerja (P5BK), yang dirancang untuk memberikan manfaat nyata bagi para pemangku kepentingan SMK, khususnya dalam membangun budaya kerja yang kuat di kalangan siswa. Model pengabdian yang digunakan meliputi workshop intensif yang diikuti dengan pelatihan dan pendampingan berkelanjutan bagi guru-guru SMK. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Karanganyar dengan partisipasi 50 guru dari empat bidang studi utama: Akuntansi dan Keuangan Lembaga (AKL), Otomatisasi dan Tata Kelola Perkantoran (OTKP), Bisnis Daring dan Pemasaran, serta Tata Boga. Workshop ini melibatkan pelatihan praktik untuk memperkuat pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menerapkan projek tersebut di lingkungan sekolah. Berdasarkan evaluasi program, 86% peserta menunjukkan pemahaman yang kuat terhadap konsep dan tujuan P5BK selama tahap penyampaian materi. Selain itu, pada tahap pelatihan dan pendampingan, 80% peserta merasa siap dan mampu melaksanakan P5BK dalam kegiatan pembelajaran mereka. Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to improve financial literacy and environmental awareness of the Indonesian diaspora in Thailand. Situation analysis revealed a low level of knowledge in financial management and green economy practices within the community. The implementation method consisted of visual module-based training, the use of assistive technology (Google Lens), and a dakwah approach rooted in Islamic values. The activity was carried out at Lukmanulhakeem School, Yala, Southern Thailand, involving 24 participants, comprising teachers and students of the school. Pretest and posttest results indicated an increase in the average score from 4.50 to 4.95. More than 83.3% of participants were able to develop personal financial plans, while 87.5% expressed readiness to adopt environmentally compliant financial products. Furthermore, interactive discussions reflected the participants' enthusiasm for adopting green economy principles in daily life. Language barriers were addressed through the use of Google Lens as a translation aid, enabling participants to better understand foreign terms, module content, and measurement instruments for improved comprehension and skills development. These results demonstrate that the Muhammadiyah dakwah-based approach integrating green economy principles effectively enhanced the financial literacy and ecological awareness of the diaspora, while also building a foundation for the economic and social sustainability of the diaspora community in Thailand

Abstract

The financial management of waste banks plays a crucial role in ensuring their sustainability and accountability. However, many waste banks, including the Langenharjo Waste Bank, face challenges in implementing accounting systems that comply with financial reporting standards. This study aimed to describe the accounting system implementation in Langenharjo Waste Bank and its conformity with the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK-EMKM), from its transaction recording system to the final financial statements. This qualitative research applied a case study design with research subjects involving the chairman, the treasurer, and two staff. The data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation; validated using source and method triangulation; and analyzed using interactive analysis. The results showed that the accounting system implementation in Langenharjo Waste Bank had been conducted regularly and manually in two ways: listing the garbages, the customers and their savings, and the particular journals; and reporting the profit and the loss. The results also indicated that the accounting system implementation at Langenharjo Waste Bank had not conformed with the SAK-EMKM. The main reason was the need for more accounting management knowledge. Some changes needed at the recording stage were making a general journal, completing the classification, and summarizing phases by making ledgers and trial balances. At the reporting stage, it was necessary to prepare the financial position report and notes on financial statements to improve the accounting system at Langenharjo Waste Bank.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas XI AKL 1 SMK Batik 1 Surakarta melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis game dengan menggunakan media Bamboozle. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya tingkat partisipasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum tindakan, rata-rata keaktifan belajar siswa hanya sebesar 51,63%. Setelah penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis game dengan bantuan Bamboozle pada siklus I, keaktifan siswa meningkat menjadi 70,62%. Setelah dilakukan evaluasi dan perbaikan, pada siklus II keaktifan siswa meningkat kembali menjadi 78,99% dan telah memenuhi target minimal 75%. Kesimpulannya, pembelajaran berbasis game dengan media Bamboozle efektif dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of financial literacy of SMK Batik Surakarta students, what programs are implemented to improve students financial literacy at SMK Batik Surakarta, and identify the results of a comparison of the level of financial literacy of SMK Batik Surakarta students. The research method used is qualitative and based on case studies. Data were collected throygh intervies, observation, and documentation with students and teachers at SMK Batik 1&2 Surakarta. The data analysis technique for this study used interactive analysis by Miles, Huberman, and Salda which were then analyzed using the NVivo 15 application. The results showed that the level of financial literacy of students in both school was still low, wih significant differences in facilities and programs supporting financial literacy. SMK Batik 1 has a Bank Mini Syariah, while SMK Batik 2 does not have similar facilities. Strengthening facilities, structured programs, and evaluations are needed to improve students’ financial literacy as a whole

Abstract

Learning concentration is a critical factor influencing the success of the educational process. Without optimal concentration, students tend to absorb information poorly, negatively impacting their comprehension and academic achievement. Various factors can affect concentration, such as fatigue or tension due to the difficulty of learning materials. Therefore, an interactive and collaborative approach that meets students’ individual needs is essential in accounting education. This research explores the use of a combined approach using the Jigsaw method and Differentiated Instruction to enhance student concentration in learning. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) employed a qualitative approach and was conducted in two cycles. The results showed a 20% improvement in the cognitive domain - rising from 60% in cycle I to 80% in cycle II. Affective and psychomotor indicators also improved by 20% - from 50% in cycle I to 70% in cycle II. These findings indicate that combining the Jigsaw method with Differentiated Instruction can effectively enhance student concentration in accounting learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the physical environment, product price and product quality to consumer impressions. Quantitative research method with commercial causal design. The sample used amounted to 85 customers of Skapat Coffee House, Boyolali. The sample was carried out with a saturated sample, with a data collection method by spreading questionnaires. The data were processed with SPSS using multiple linear regression analysis methods. The results of the study revealed that the physical environment, price and product quality have an influence on consumer impressions at Skapat Coffee House. Thus, a well-managed physical environment, pricing and good product quality will be able to influence the impression of a consumer. Consumers that must be paid attention to by coffee lovers.
