Abstract

In the current era of the industrial revolution, the need for human resources is increasingly stringent for skills that are in line with the latest technological developments. As an education provider, the Garut Institute of Technology strives to provide quality education to prepare alumni to be able to compete in the world of work. To get feedback from alumni, you need a way to get that information. Tracer study is an activity carried out by educational institutions to obtain information regarding the success of the educational process carried out by alumni. Apart from that, using the tracer study data can be used as evaluation material for educational institutions to improve learning and existing services. The Garut Institute of Technology, as a private university in Garut, which graduates hundreds of students each year, has carried out tracer study activities using the existing system. Based on the results of interviews conducted, there are system limitations in terms of monitoring in the form of the distribution of alumni who are already working and require a consultation feature which aims to be able to carry out online consultations regarding careers. The aim of this research is to build a web-based tracer study and build a tracer study system so that it can monitor alumni distribution and provide career-related consultations. This research uses the Agile methodology with the Scrum framework with the stages of requirements, product backlog, sprint planning, sprint, sprint review and sprint retrospective. By using system design modeling using Unified Modeling Language (UML). The results of this research are a system that can be used to determine the distribution of alumni and to provide feedback regarding the education received.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an e-portfolio system for students and alumni of the Garut Institute of Technology, which is provided by the Career Development Center (CDC). This system allows users to archive digital work or proof of achievement which can be in the form of achievements, awards, certifications, work history, education, and involvement in organizations, as an e-portfolio. Agile methodology with a Scrum approach is used in this research, and this system is designed as a website using the React JS Framework. The result of this research is an alternative system that makes it easier for users to create and access e-portfolios digitally and helps the Career Development Center increase opportunities for students and alumni to find jobs that suit their skills and interests. This system allows users to manage and share e-portfolio results online or download them in pdf format.

Abstract

Voice assistant digunakan sebagai teknologi untuk memproses bahasa alami dari pengguna dan memberikan respon perintah dari pengguna. Voice assistant digunakan sebagai assistant digital mempermudah pekerjaan pengguna dengan memberi perintah suara, voice assistant akan memberikan respon pencarian pada device yang terkoneksi dengan adanya fitur yang memberikan kontrol pada device, voice assistant pada saat ini banyak di terapkan pada device smartphone, untuk melakukan perintah  pada voice assistant tidak bisa menanggapi perintah untuk tanya jawab dari pengguna secara langsung, voice assistant pada smartphone tidak memberi tingkat kepercayaan bahwa penggunaan sebuah system akan meningkatkan kinerja (perceived usefulness). Tujuan dari penelitian ini mendapatkan respon tanya jawab pengguna dengan system dari proses open artificial intellegance, kemudian memberikan kinerja kerja bagi pengguna dimana voice assistant diterapkan pada smartwatch, untuk melengkapi fitur yang ada pada penelitian sebelumnya dan menambahkan bahasa dukungan text to speech. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Extreme Programming (XP) dengan tahapan yang digunakan yaitu tahapan planning, design, coding, dan testing dengan pemodelan Unifed Modelling Language (UML). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dibangunnya aplikasi voice assistant pada smartwatch yang dapat berfungsi dengan baik, yang divalidasi menggunakan pengujian usability testing, kemudian dapat melakukan tanya jawab perintah suara dari pengguna berupa informasi yang di tanyakan secara random dan memberikan perceived usefulness bagi pengguna.

Abstract

Dengan kemajuan teknologi saat ini yang sangat cepat, pemanfaatannya dialami oleh masyarakat luas di berbagai sektor, teknologi ini telah menjadi penunjang utama dalam pengelolaan bisnis. Salah satu contohnya adalah bisnis Toko Mas, yang menjual berbagai perhiasan. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi adalah customer ingin melakukan transaksi dengan mudah tanpa harus datang ke toko untuk memilih barang. Keinginan ini menjadi semakin penting customer ingin berbelanja namun terhalang oleh jam operasional toko. Permasalahan juga terjadi pada saat proses pembayaran yang dilakukan oleh customer melalui transfer dengan hanya mengirimkan bukti pembayaran. Namun cara tersebut menjadi kurang efisien karena diperlukannya waktu dan karyawan khusus untuk proses verifikasi pembayaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengimplementasikan teknologi Payment Gateway yaitu Midtrans berbasis web. Metodologi perancangan perangkat lunak yang digunakan yaitu Rational Unified Process (RUP) melalui tahapan Inception, Elaboration, Contruction, serta Transition. Hasil penelitian adalah aplikasi toko mas berbasis web yang menggunakan midtrans sebagai salah satu payment gateway untuk menangani pembayaran secara real time. Hal ini memudahkan pekerjaan admin dengan verifikasi pembayaran dan memungkinkan pengguna bertransaksi dengan mudah. Aplikasi Toko Mas dan menerima penilaian dari responden yang melibatkan masyarakat dan pihak terkait, hasilnya adalah 85,2%, masuk dalam kategori “Sangat Mudah” ini menunjukkan kemudahan penggunaan sistem tersebut.

Abstract

In the era of digital transformation, delays in the production process due to manual recording are still a challenge for manufacturing industry players, including PD. Arrum Berkah Sentosa which produces personal protective equipment (PPE) made from leather. This research aims to develop a web-based PPE sewing process monitoring application using the Extreme Programming (XP) method. The development process includes planning, design, coding, and testing stages. The system includes employee attendance features, recording work results, managing stock items, and weekly reporting. Testing is done through the black-box method and System Usability Scale (SUS). The test results show that the system runs according to functionality with a SUS score of 80.13, which is in the “Excellent” category. The findings show that the XP approach is effective in responding to the dynamic needs of users as well as improving production efficiency in the manufacturing MSME sector.

Abstract

Wedding Organizer (WO) is an event organization service provider that works directly to assist prospective brides and grooms in planning their wedding event at a predetermined time and cost. Problems that often occur include when clients or prospective brides and grooms decide on wedding packages. The package selection process often takes quite a long time because it requires in-depth discussions. Apart from that, the payment process is also a concern because currently clients can only pay via transfer by sending proof of payment, which takes time to be verified by the admin. The aim of this research is to apply payment gateway technology to a web-based wedding organizer application that can provide information about wedding package services and make orders easily and quickly. The methodology used in this research is Agile with the Scrum Framework through the stages Requirements, Product Backlog, Sprint Planning, Sprint, Sprint Review. and Sprint Retrospective. For system modeling in this research, Unified Modeling Language (UML) is used with 2 diagrams, namely Use Case Diagram and Class Diagram. The result of this research is a web-based wedding organizer application that can make payments in real time by implementing one of the payment gateways, namely Midtrans, making it easier for admins to process payment verification and also so that clients can make transactions easily and quickly.

Abstract

The management and access to academic information at SMK Asshiddiqiyah Garut is still ineffective. The student assessment process requires re-recording in Microsoft Excel for each subject, which is time-consuming and prone to recording errors. In addition, parents find it difficult to obtain information on learning outcomes because they have to come directly to the school. The purpose of this study is to design and develop a web-based academic information system that can make it easier for students, parents, and teachers to manage and obtain academic information online. The software development methodology uses the Rational Unified Process with the stages of inception, elaboration, construction, and transition. The resulting system was tested using blackbox testing, and the test results showed a satisfaction level of 95.7% (strongly agree category) from students and 78.7% (agree category) from teachers.

Abstract

In the midst of rapid technological development, manual recording in inventory management in the sandal trading industry often leads to errors, inefficiency, and accumulation of goods. This research aims to develop a web-based inventory control system using the First In First Out (FIFO) algorithm with the Extreme Programming (XP) approach, one of the agile software development methods that emphasizes collaboration, rapid iteration, and continuous testing. System development includes modeling with Use Case Diagram, Class Diagram, and designing with CRC Card. The final result in the form of an inventory system for Hizam Sandal Warehouse was tested using black-box testing and acceptance testing methods based on User Stories, which showed that the system runs as needed. The implementation of this system succeeded in increasing the efficiency of recording, reducing data errors, and facilitating the analysis of the accumulation of goods.

Abstract

In an effort to improve financial management efficiency in the printing service business, this study developed a transaction report recording system using the Extreme Programming (XP) method, one of the agile software development approaches. The study was conducted at P2 Digital Printing in Garut, which previously faced issues with manual financial recording, such as input errors and report delays. This research fully implemented the XP stages, starting from planning (preparation of user stories and iteration plan), design (interface design, CRC cards, and UML diagrams), coding (implementation with pair programming, refactoring, and continuous integration), to testing (using Equivalence Partitioning and Acceptance testing). Test results showed that the system was able to manage transactions, accounts receivable and payable, and financial reports in real-time with higher accuracy compared to manual processes. The contribution of this study lies not only in the application of XP for a web-based financial system, but also in the integration of key features relevant to the needs of MSME-scale printing industry. Compared to previous studies that generally focused on educational institutions or cooperatives, this system provides a practical approach for printing businesses in terms of speed, data accuracy, and flexibility of use. These findings can serve as a reference for implementing XP in financial system development for similar sectors.

Abstract

PT Berkah Wahana Samudera Jaya Group is a company engaged in the fish trade. In the current business processes of PT Berkah Wahana Samudera Jaya Group, the process involves recording, transferring data to Excel, and monitoring stock manually through Excel, which often causes discrepancies between the actual and recorded stock quantities. The purpose of this study is to design a web-based marine fish stock monitoring application with the implementation of the First In First Out (FIFO) algorithm to ensure that the fish that enters first will be the first to leave, thereby reducing the risk of fish quality deterioration, monitoring stocks more quickly, and ensuring that stock data is always up to date. The research uses the Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology, which includes four stages of application design, namely Inception, Elaboration, Construction, and Transition, with Unified Modeling Language (UML) system modeling. The result of this research is a stock monitoring application implemented at PT Berkah Wahana Samudera Jaya Group to support fish stock management and minimize recording errors. The contribution of this research is to provide a digital solution that can be used as a reference for developing web-based inventory management systems in the fisheries sector, supporting the transformation of the fisheries industry towards a more efficient, transparent, and integrated digital ecosystem.
