Abstract

This paper aims to study the understanding of decision-making to enter global marketing and approach decisions through global marketing strategies that are scientifically and practically applicable for Indonesian companies in the face of today's competitive globalization. The results of this study will provide results both in the literature and practically on the application of the two decision approaches through the global marketing strategy. So that it is expected to be able to contribute to Indonesian companies in making decisions through global marketing strategies so that Indonesian companies can excel in the competition of globalization.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) in the national economy have an important and strategic role. (UMKM) also have a strategic role in national economic development, therefore in addition to playing a role in economic growth and employment, they also play a role in the distribution of development results. This study aims to build a creative industry for SMEs based on digital literacy to improve the economy of the Tanjungbalai City government. This research is divided into two parts, the first is to find out how the growth of the creative industry MSME business through digital literacy builds the government economy in Tanjungbalai City and the second is to find out how to build a digital literacy-based creative industry MSME business in Tanjungbalai City. This research method is a research with a quantitative approach. Quantitative research is more focused on the use of numbers which makes it more detailed and clearer.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the marketing strategy of STP at PT Siantar Top Tanjung Morawa. This research is a descriptive research. This research uses case study research techniques. Data collection techniques in this study use interviews and documentation. Interviews were used using tools, namely questionnaires and documentation methods to obtain secondary data. The population used in this study were all consumers of the products of PT Siantar Top Tbk Tanjung Morawa. Respondents in this study were 100 respondents. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. The results of this study are based on the results of the analysis carried out by segmentation, targeting, and positioning simultaneously have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Based on the test results, it was found that the segmentation variable had a positive influence on the product purchase decision of PT Siantar Top Tbk. Based on the test results, it was found that the targeting variable had a positive influence on the product purchase decision of PT Siantar Top Tbk. Based on the test results, it was found that the positioning variable had a negative influence on the product purchase decision of PT Siantar Top Tbk.

Abstract

The epidemic that is happening at this time has caused many activities to be postponed.  The outbreak, known as COVID-19, has had a very significant negative or bad impact on the people of Indonesia.  The negative impact is felt by the entire community and all agencies or institutions.  The very big impact is on the economy.  The economy in Indonesia has declined greatly due to the Covid-19 outbreak.  Meanwhile, the government continues to make recommendations or recommendations to the public regarding the existence of this covid-19, to avoid the increasing spread due to this covid-19.  This epidemic is not only happening in Indonesia, but also throughout the world.  So that the government is getting stricter and giving more recommendations to the public to stay alert and follow the advice of the government, so that efforts to eliminate COVID-19 can be carried out quickly for the sake of mutual comfort and prosperity.

Abstract

Currently, the development of global markets and business has become a very rapid thing for humans to do. Business people certainly need to change their minds so they can follow the existing trends in order to be able to develop their business and corporate entities as a result of business developments in the current global era. If product policy issues are checked accurately and thoroughly, it will do well; otherwise, it would be a disaster. If a product can be produced and sold on a large scale, and accepted, then it is deemed technically feasible. So this research will focus on the study of product policy analysis in the development of global marketing in Indonesia.

Abstract

PT. Pegadaian Kanwil I Medan acknowledges the importance of investing in employee development. However, despite these efforts, the company faces challenges with low employee retention rates and turnover rates exceeding acceptable levels. These issues adversely affect the company's performance and productivity. Ineffective training and inconsistent career development are identified as primary factors contributing to job dissatisfaction and low employee retention. Therefore, this study aims to explore how employee development experiences, specifically through training and career development, influence employee retention. Job satisfaction is examined as a mediator in this relationship. The research adopts a quantitative approach with a causal/correlational research design. A sample of 60 employees participated in the study, providing data through questionnaires. The analysis utilizes path analysis with Smart-PLS 3.0 software, focusing on evaluating both the measurement model and structural model. The findings reveal that training significantly enhances employee retention but does not significantly affect job satisfaction. Conversely, career development does not directly impact employee retention but significantly influences job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is found to mediate the relationship between career development and employee retention but does not mediate the relationship between training and employee retention. These findings underscore the critical role of training and career development in improving staff retention at PT. Pegadaian Kanwil I Medan. The study highlights the importance of enhancing training programs and emphasizing career development to boost employee satisfaction and retention.

Abstract

In the context of contemporary business, this study investigates inter-subdivision collaboration and team dynamics at PTPN III. Effective team dynamics are mainly shaped by open communication, consistent leadership, and cross-functional collaboration, according to the results of qualitative and quantitative approaches. Even with initiatives to improve cooperation, subdivisions still need strategic measures to strengthen their cooperation, such as the establishment of forums for collaboration and the integration of information systems. It has been shown that the utilization of technology and information systems supports operational efficiency, and that the development of team skills is critical to improving production. These findings also emphasize the importance of fostering an innovative culture that encourages experimentation and measured risk-taking. In addition, a more comprehensive performance review could provide a more accurate representation of each sub-section's contribution. Combining these data, this study concludes that PTPN III's readiness to deal with changing business conditions can be improved through strategic actions to enhance team dynamics and collaboration between sub-sections, such as improving communication, strengthening collaboration, and encouraging innovation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi atau hal penting yang harus dilakukan agar logistik halal di Indonesia dapat terlaksana atau tercapai secara efektif dalam lingkup logistik global. Adapun untuk metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif melalui studi kepustakaan (literature review) yang dimana menjelaskan fenomena dan data serta penelitian terdahulu, kemudian menarik kesimpulan dari permasalahan yang ada secara lebih akurat dan jelas dari fakta-fakta yang ada. Untuk hasil penelitian ini ialah terdapat beberapa hal penting yang dapat menjadi pendorong kesuksesan Logistik Halal di Indonesia yang diantaranya yaitu 1) Dukungan pemerintah untuk mendorong perkembangan Logistik Halal dengan memperketat kebijakan mengenai sertifikasi halal 2) Memberikan pelatihan dan peningkatan manajemen pengetahuan yang berperan meningkatkan kemampuan pegawai. 3) Pengembangan Lanjutan dalam hal teknologi meliputi pengembangan sistem pelacakan seperti penambahan sistem sensor DNA dan sertifikasi di pergudangan, distributor, dan penjual, serta sertifikasi di penyedia produk hingga penjual ditambah dengan penerapan sistem logistik lima titik pembelian untuk inovasi berkelanjutan dan pengurangan biaya.

Abstract

The study of religious moderation is still a widely discussed topic. The study of religious moderation emerges with moderate values as knowledge that does not contain violence, extremism, and false doctrine,ines of religion in society. However, amid the polemic of extremist ideologies, Islamic boarding schools come with a unique learning system. For example, learning Arabic in Islamic boarding schools can lead students to understand the meaning of moderation in society. The moderate values in the books and the slogans and mottos of the Islamic Boarding School are easily understood and implemented by the students daily. This paper aims to convey and reveal the values of religious moderation in Arabic language learning at Islamic Boarding Schools in Lampung. They are written qualitatively, analyzing several textbooks and slogans in Islamic boarding schools. Based on the results of the analysis of Arabic language learning, the meaning of moderation in Islamic boarding schools that are actively learned by students, such as nationalism, tolerance, tawazun, and fairness, are seen in students' learning and daily activities. The manifestation of moderation values shows that the Islamic Boarding School in Lampung has carried moderate values since its inception and can become an intermediary to maintain societal harmony.

Abstract

Marketing strategy is a way to create a sustainable competitive advantage for both companies that produce goods and services. Market competition is a major challenge for entrepreneurs. One of the Indonesian batik production industries is located in the village of Wukirsari. The purpose of this research is to analyze the competitive marketing strategy of the global Giliroyo batik industry. In this study, the authors used a qualitative descriptive method where the data collection technique used was a literature study. According to the survey results, the marketing strategy of the global Jiriroyo tie-dye industry consists of a product strategy, a pricing strategy, a sales promotion strategy and a placement strategy, which are commonly referred to as the 4Ps.
