Abstract

Objective: This study aims to (1) examine the influence of service quality, patient relationship management, and service fairness on patient satisfaction and loyalty, and (2) test whether patient satisfaction mediates the influence of service quality, patient relationship management, and service fairness on patient loyalty. Method: A quantitative approach was employed with a survey conducted on 320 respondents, consisting of inpatients in several hospitals in DKI Jakarta, and the data were analyzed using linear regression analysis and mediation tests. Result: The findings of this study are: (1) the quality of service has no effect on patient satisfaction and loyalty; (2) patient relationship management has no effect on patient satisfaction but has a positive effect on patient loyalty; (3) service fairness has a positive effect on patient satisfaction and loyalty; (4) patient satisfaction has no effect on patient loyalty; (5) patient satisfaction is not an intervening variable between service quality and patient relationship management to patient loyalty; and (6) patient satisfaction is an intervening variable between service fairness and patient loyalty. Novelty: The results show that service justice has a great influence on both patient satisfaction and loyalty, proving that the variable of service justice in which there are indicators of retributive justice is a proven novelty, highlighting the importance of leaders in formulating policies related to fairness in service and ensuring the implementation of fair services by all hospital employees to increase satisfaction and ultimately foster patient loyalty.

Abstract

The impact of valuable services for taxpayers will increase the aware-ness and compliance of taxpayers. This study aims to explore whether there is a direct or indirect effect on the effectiveness of tax socialization, superior service products, and the quality of services to taxpayer satisfaction and taxpayer compliance. The study was conducted at the East Java Provincial Revenue Agency through 48 motorized vehicle service units, with a purposive sampling set at 426 respondents in the Gresik, Bangkalan, Mojokerto, Surabaya, Sidoarjo and Lamongan regions with 2014 ownership of motorized vehicle years. With SEM analysis, the results of the study stated that there were significant direct or indirect effectiveness of tax socialization, superior service products, and quality of service to taxpayers' satisfaction and compliance as a mediating variable. The implication is that if the Central Tax Office conducts tax socialization effectively on target, provides superior service products, and delivers quality of services in all districts/cities in East Java Province, they will be able to get people to comply by voluntarily paying motor vehicle taxes on time.

Abstract

Postpartum blues refer to mood disorders that occur a few days after labor to about two weeks with a peak of instability on days 3 to 5. In 2020, the prevalence of postpartum blues in Indonesia reached 50-70%. This research is an analytical survey using a cross-sectional design. The population in this research consisted of 127 respondents. The research sample was 97 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The variables in this study include independent variables such as parity and type of labor, and the dependent variable is the incidence of postpartum blues. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The analysis of the relationship between variables was done using the chi-square test. The research results indicate that the majority of postpartum mothers (53,6%) were multiparity mothers. The majority of postpartum mothers (68,4%) gave birth by sectio caesaria.  The majority of postpartum mothers (56,7%) experienced the postpartum blues. The chi-square test results indicate that there was a relationship between parity with the incidence of postpartum blues with a p-value of 0.010 < α 0.05 and also a relationship between the type of labor with the incidence of postpartum blues with a p-value of 0.004 < α 0.05. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between parity and type of labor with the incidence of postpartum blues. The role of the midwife is necessary to provide support to postpartum mothers so that they can adapt well and accept their new role as a mother.

Abstract

Kata Kunci: Kader, Pemantauan Tumbuh Kembang, Buku KIA,  ABSTRACT One area that still needs to be given an understanding of the importance of monitoring growth and development is the Wonoayu sub-district in Sidoarjo Regency. The number of toddlers and pre-school children is 261. Of that number, 1.5% experience BGM and 6% experience stunting. For growth and development monitoring, 92% routinely do it at the integrated health post. The growth and development monitoring in question is more about weighing, while for development it has not been specifically implemented. This can be seen from the KIA book. The development monitoring checklist section in the KIA book is often still empty. If parents have carried out detection, there should be a check mark (Ѵ) on the checklist in question. The role of cadres is very much needed to foster the willingness and motivation of mothers in monitoring their children's growth and development using the KIA book. In general, health cadres have been trained in carrying out their duties such as how to weigh properly, fill out the KMS, fill out the KIA book, while monitoring development has not been done because they are more busy making records that must be reported to the health center. Therefore, there needs to be training for cadres on monitoring child growth and development using the KIA book. If cadres already understand how easy it is to monitor child development using the KIA book, they can teach parents how to monitor development, thus lightening the cadres' tasks. The existence of cadre training is an effort to foster family commitment to continuously monitor child growth and development according to their age. Training in an effort to empower cadres is carried out using a system approach, namely referring to the concepts of Input, Process and Output. By participating in training activities, it is hoped that parents will better understand the contents of the KIA book and can determine the actions to be taken if there are health problems, especially regarding their child's growth and development. Keywords: Kader, Growth and Development Monitoring, KIA Book

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are central to Indonesia’s economy, contributing more than 60% of GDP and employing the majority of the workforce. In East Java, MSMEs account for nearly 59% of regional GDP, underscoring their critical role in inclusive growth. Despite this importance, MSMEs face persistent challenges, including limited access to credit, low digital adoption, weak innovation, and vulnerability to competition. While prior studies have explored these factors separately, few have developed an integrative framework linking business strategies, competition, and regulation to sustainability. This study examines the effects of seven strategic dimensions, credit facilities, digital marketing, innovation, pricing, distribution, circular economy, and inclusive partnerships, on MSME sustainability. Business competition is tested as a mediating variable and regulation by the Indonesian Competition Commission (KPPU) as a moderating variable. Data were collected from 396 MSMEs across handicrafts, food and beverage, and service sectors, and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Results show that digital marketing, innovation, pricing, distribution, and inclusive partnerships significantly enhance sustainability, while credit facilities and circular economy practices have limited direct impact. Competition mediates the effects of strategies on sustainability, and regulation strengthens both strategic and competitive impacts. The study contributes theoretically by integrating Resource-Based View, Competitive Advantage, Institutional Theory, and Circular Economy perspectives into a holistic model, and provides practical insights for policymakers and MSME actors seeking to enhance resilience and long-term sustainability.
