Abstract

AbstractTraditional household equipment is an ancestral inheritance to his children and grandchildren. People who still use traditional equipment generally still live in remote areas or villages. This study uses two methods, for collecting data used interview methods, records, notes, and documentation. While the data analysis used descriptive method. The data in this study are pictures of traditional household appliances, vocabulary of traditional household equipment, lexical meanings of traditional household equipment, and components of meaning. The source of the data in this study is the informant who is a native of the Dayak Tamambaloh tribe. The technique used in this study is direct technique. Data collection tools used in this study are interview guides, recording devices in the form of tape recorders or other types of recording devices, data cards that have been provided for grouping or recording data obtained. The data consists of vocabulary of basic materials of iron, bamboo, fruit, clay / ceramics, wood, sago shells, pandanus thorns and stems, rattan, animal organs, areca nut fronds, stones, blue leaves, cans and zinc, bark. Abstract

Abstract This research aim to study the form of directive command thrase and the directive request phrase of Malaya language in Sanggau dialect.In the scope of research, as the object of research.The research concern to the form of directive command phrase and directive request phrase. This research was conduct at the contextual speech of Malay public, when they held the natural cooperation to prepare the wedding ceremony in Tanjung Sekayam urban village, Kapuas sub-district, of Sanggau regency. This research use the pragmatic approach. The method of this research is descriptive method and the form of research is qualitative research by using the pragmatic approach. This research related to the form of directive act phrase in Malay language in Sanggau Dialect. In completing the research, the researcher used neted, interview, and record as the techniques instruments of collecting data. Result research show that then is 10 forms utterance directivecommand and 5 forms utterance directive ask. Directive act phrase can be use for the lesson of odd semester in University as the pragmatic lesson. The competency standart: describes the directive act phrase in Indonesia and the daily practice.Keywords: Speech act, directive

Abstract

AbstractThis study focused on observing the sensory verb in the Dayak Kanayatn language. This study has four specific problems, namely (1) review the sensory verb in the Dayak Kanayatn language, (2) review the meaning of the sensory verb in the Dayak Kanayatn language, and (3) review the morphological processes of deep the sensory verb in the Dayak Kanayatn language. The research method used in this study was descriptive with a qualitative form. The data sources used in this study were data that have been obtained from the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Then to complete the data, researchers prioritized the data obtained from informants, namely speakers of native language Dayak Kanayatn. The technique of collected data, reading and grouping each of the five sensory verbs obtained, and describing the sensory verbs that have been obtained. The results of the study, namely there were free basic verbs, there were 9 senses of seer, 2 senses of the listener, 1 sense of sniffer, 3 senses of taste, and 2 sense of touch. Derivative verbs have 35 senses of seer, 10 senses of listeners, 7 senses of smell, 10 senses of taste, and 8 senses of touch. Keywords: Morphologies, Scriptures, Senses, Verbs

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini difokuskan pada pengamatan terhadap tradisi selamatan membangun rumah pada masyarakat Melayu Sambas. Selamatan membangun rumah yang dimaksud adalah tradisi yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat sebelum mendirikan sebuah rumah baik pada tahap prapelaksanaan maupun proses pelaksanaan selamatan membangun rumah. Peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif, yaitu dengan menerjemahkan data kosakata permainan rakyat Melayu Kabupaten Sambas. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan pendekatan etnolinguistik yang memandang hubungan bahasa dengan unsur budaya di dalam masyarakat Melayu Sambas. Analisis yang dilakukan peneliti terhadap data yang dikumpulkan adalah analisis mengenai inventarisasi data, makna leksikal dan makna kultural, dan fungsi makna istilah dalam tradisi selamatan membangun rumah masyarakat Melayu Sambas. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, peneliti berhasil menghimpun penelitian ini berhasil menghimpun 44 istilah dalam tradisi selamatan membangun rumah masyarakat Melayu Sambas terdiri dari 25 istilah alat, 6 istilah proses, 3 istilah waktu, 4 istilah pelaku, 1 istilah tempat, dan 5 istilah pada serapah yang digunakan.   Kata Kunci: Peristilahan tradisi selamatan membangun rumah, etnolinguistik, Melayu Sambas. Abstract: This study focused on observing the tradition of building homes in the community of salvation Melayu Sambas. Salvation build the house in question is a tradition practiced by the people before taking up a good home on the stage of the implementation process of salvation prapelaksanaan or build a house. Data collection activities conducted in the District of South Jawai Sambas district. Researchers used descriptive method with a form of qualitative research, by translating the data vocabulary Malay folk games Sambas district. This study also uses entholinguistic approach that sees its relations with the language of cultural elements in Malay society Sambas. The analysis conducted by researchers of the data collected is an analysis of the data inventory, the lexical meaning and cultural meaning, and function of the meaning of the term in the tradition of salvation building houses Sambas Malay society. Based on the research conducted, the researchers managed to collect this study managed to collect 44 terms in the tradition of salvation build public houses Melayu Sambas consists of 25 terms appliance, 6 term process, three terms of time, four term offender, one term spot, and 5 terms on profanity that used. Abstract

AbstractThe low writing skill grade VIII students is caused by several factors including: students attitudes that are easy to write, students write more often, so as not to focus on writing, lazy student habit. This research with the research object of SMP Kanaan which amounted to 15 students. The data were collected by several techniques, such as observation and test. Data analysis in this research is a research procedure that data in the form of written words. Data collection tool used in this research is guidance or observation and test. Audiovisual the result of observation and judgment about media usage in news writing material have better change of direction. In the first cycle the use of audiovisual media scores reached 31 with a value of 60 into the category very well. From the results of the written test on the first cycle average score 70 students with classical completeness of 46,6% and written test results on the second cycle student average score 83,9 with classical completeness of 93,3%. The improvement that students gain on each cycle proves that the use of audiovisual media on news text writing materials can be said to be effective. Keywords: application, audiovisual media, news teks

Abstract

Abstrak:    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan pembelajaran menulis teks negosiasi berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 dilihat dari kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti dan kegiatan penutup. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dengan guru bersangkutan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tidak langsung, berupa teknik observasi dan teknik perekam. Sedangkan, alat pengumpulan data adalah pedoman observasi dan alat perekam. Analisis data penelitian pelaksanaan menulis teks negosiasi berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 dilihat dari  kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup yang dilakukan oleh guru. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada pertemuan pertama dan kedua terdiri dari kegiatan pendahuluan, inti dan penutup terlaksana sesuai rambu-rambu kurikulum 2013. Evaluasi yang dilakukan guru pada pertemuan pertama dan kedua telah memuat penilaian tiga ranah meliputi ranah sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan.   Kata kunci: Menulis, Teks Negosiasi, Kurikulum 2013 Abstract: This research aims to analize the running study write text negotiation based on curriculum 2013 on account of the activity   introduction, activity core and activities cover. The method used is the method od descriptif. Gathering data was done through observation  with the teacher concerned. The technique of gathering data using techniques not directly, the following  techniques of observation and technique of the recorder. Whereas, the tool of gathering data is to quide observation and a recorder. Analysis of data the research commencement write text negotiation based on curriculum 2103 on account of the activity introduction, activity core, and the activities cover done by the teacher. Abstract

AbstractThe research was based on the lack of students’ writing skill. The evidence was seen from the students writing achievement which were mostly below Minimum Passing Grade scor, 72,22. In the poetry writting learning, the students were less skilled in writing their ideas to poetry. This research is focused on poetry writting learning by using mind mapping method with audiovisual media. Problem in this research is “how is the use, evaluation to see the achievement, and learning constraints by using mind mapping method with audiovisual media?” This research aims to investigate the use, evaluation to see the achievement, and learning constraints by using mind mapping method with audiovisual to enhance poetry writing ability. Method used was descriptive with Classroom Action Research (CAR) model. Technique used was indirect technique namely observation and documentary study. Tools of collecting data were observation guide namely IPKKG 1 and IPKG 2, and student’s scoring sheet. Analysis technique used was qualitative descriptive. The results, showed average score in pre-cycle was 54,26, while the average score in the first cycle  was 73,12, and the average score in the second cycle  was 87,70. Thus, the poetry writing ability by using mind mapping method with audiovisual media is increased from the pre-cycle, the first cycle, and the second cycle.          .                                 Keywords: Mind Mapping, Audiovisual, Poetry, Writing Ability

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to improve the quality of learning and to know the ability of student writing argumentative paragraph with the application of problem based learning model in teaching writing of argumentative paragraph. The subject of this research were 39 students in tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak.  There were three cycles implemented in this research. The source of the data was from the tenth grade Bahasa Indonesia teacher through the lesson plan, the list of students 'attitudes score, the list of students' ability in writing argumentative paragraphs, and teacher activity used indirect techniques, that were observation and documentation. Based on the results of this research, it can conclude that the problem-based learning model improved the quality of the teaching learning process, especially the students' attitude and the students' ability in writing argumentative paragraphs. It can be proven from the precentage of students' attitudes and students' argumentative paragraph writing ability was increase from first cycle until third cycle. The students' attitudes tothe aspects of learning motivation, diligence, cooperation, discipline, and responsibility was increased from I cycles, II, and III. The mean score for I cycle of students' writing argumentative paragraphs was 56.15 and 33.33 % for learning mastery level. The Cycle II was increased to 73.08 and the learning mastery level was 56.41%. Cycle III there was a significant improvement, that was 79,74 and the learning mastery level was 79,49%. Keywords:   Problem Based Learning Model, Argumentative Paragraph, Classroom Action Research

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to describe the writing of the circular and the notice of Kubu Raya District Education Office by Minister of National Education Republic of Indonesia Number 42 of 2006 on the use of the form / layout of letters, parts of letters, and the language of the letter. The method used is descriptive method. The data source of this research is to document the circular and the notice of the Department of Education Kubu Raya. Data collection techniques used is documentation. The results of data analysis on aspects of builders circulars and announcements covering letter writing letterhead, opening mail, letter, cover letters, and the language of the letter can be concluded that the writing circular and the notice of Kubu Raya District Education Office in 2008 to 2010 have not shown optimal results. In this case, aspects that need to be considered, especially aspects of the form of letters, parts of the letter (letterhead, opening mail, letter and cover letter), and the language letter.        Keywords: Circular, Letter Announcements, Permendiknas.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran menulis teks cerita pendek di SMP Negeri 10 Pontianak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi dan teknik perekaman.  Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) Pemilihan materi pembelajaran sudah tepat dan sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran sebagaimana yang sudah tercantum dalam RPP yang dibuat guru berdasarkan silabus. (2) Tahap penerapan pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran sudah sesuai lampiran IV Permendikbud No. 81A Tahun 2013 mengenai 5 kegiatan pokok belajar dalam Kurikulum  2013 (3) Tahap penerapan metode dalam pembelajaran masih perlu diaplikasikan secara tepat, khususnya dalam penyampaian keutuhan materi dan penyesuaian pertanyaan dari siswa yang dapat diselaraskan dengan penambahan media. Selanjutnya (4) Pada tahap penilaian proses dan penilaian hasil pembelajaran dalam menulis teks cerita pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Pontianak sudah sesuai dengan pedoman pengamatan penilaian Permendikbud, No. 66 tahun 2013, Bab II: 4-5 tentang Standar Penilaian Pendidikan.   Kata kunci: pembelajaran, menulis teks, teks cerita pendek   Abstract: The purpose of the research is describing the implementation of learning writing short story text in SMP Negeri 10 Pontianak. The research is qualitative descriptive. Collecting tool technique which is used namely observation and technique recording. The result of this research is (1) choosing learning material is already properly and base on the purpose of the learning which has found in lesson plan according to syllabus. (2) implementation step of scientific approach in learning based on Permendikbud attachment for No. 81A Tahun 2013 about 5 learning core activities in 2013 curriculum, (3) application of the method step of learning still needs to be applied properly, especially in the delivery of the integrity of material and the adjustment of question from studens that can be harmonized with the addition of media for the sake of optimal utilization of the media. Next, (4) process assessment step and assessment result of learning of students of SMP Negeri 10 Pontianak class VII it has based on assessment observation guide Permendikbud attachment for No. 66 Tahun 2013, Chapter II: 4-5 about Education Assessment Standart.   Keyword: learning, text writing, short story text.
