ABSTRACTÂ The purpose of this research was to describe things as follows. First, it describes the skills of reading comprehension grade VII JUNIOR 20 Country field. Second, it describes the writing skills text description grade VII JUNIOR 20 Country field. Third, explain the relationship between the keterampilaan reading comprehension with writing skills text description grade VII JUNIOR 20 Country field. Type of this research is quantitative research with the method korelasional. The research design used was the korelasional relationship of two variables. The population of this research grade VII SMP Negeri Padang 20 listed in the teaching of 2018/2019 with a total of 254 students scattered in seven classes. The sample in this study amounted to 48 people. Sample taken using a simple random technique with a precision of 15% using a proportional random sampling techniques. Research instrument this is a test performance, namely, test write text description and objective tests the skills of reading comprehension text description. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that research done about the relationship skills reading comprehension dengana writing skills text descriptions have a relationship on a level may 95% i.e. thitung is greater than ttabel with dk = n-1. Thus, it can be noted that the higher the reading comprehension skills of students will be increasingly higher skill levels write a text description of the students.Â Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Membaca Pemahaman, Menulis, Teks Deskripsi

ABSTRACTÂ The purpose f this research are (1) To know the students class VIII at SMP Negeri 11 Padang ability to write persuasive text without using mind mapping technique. (2) To know the students class VIII at SMP Negeri 11 Padang ability to write persuasive text using mind mapping. (3) To analyze the effects of using mind mapping technique towards students ability to write persuasive text class VIII at SMP Negeri 11 Padang. This is qualitative research using quasi experiment. In this study, theoretical concept of discovery learning are reviewed the influence of discovery learning style use media audiovisual to assistÂ students writing skill Anecdote text at X grade of SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Gumanti. The data collections of this study are results of use Anecdote writing skill text between an experiment and control class. The process of collecting data are use extend of learning anecdote skill text by discovery learning style with media audiovisual assistant both an experiment class. Test by anecdote writing skill text work show on students. The writing Anecdote skill text between an experiment and control class was researcher used to show there comparisons among the influence of discovery learning style with assist audiovisual media accompanying hypothesis experiment abbreviation.Â The results of this study showed thatÂ (1) using Anecdote writing skill text at students X Grade of SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Gumanti without use discovery learning style with assist media audiovisual have qualification kind. (2) That anecdote writing skill text at students X Grade of SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Gumanti without use discovery learning style with assist media audiovisual also have qualification kind. (3) Based on abbreviation hypothesis experiment there are significant conclusions of influence toward discovery learning style with assist media audiovisual on anecdote skill writing text on students learning process of SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Gumanti.Â Â Kata kunci: Pengaruh, model discovery learning berbantuan media audiovisual, menulis teks anekdot

ABSTRACTÂ There are four purposes of the act of saying Najwa Shihab in this research. First, describe the act of speech illocution. Second, describe the strategy of speech acts. And third, describes the principle of politeness. This research type is qualitative research by using descriptive method. The data of this research is Najwa Shihab's speech which is in the form of words in Mata Najwa Speech title in the 100-day Anies-Sandi episode. The instrument is the researcher himself. Data collection techniques there are three. First, the researchers downloaded the first Mata Najwa video titles in the 100-day Anies-Sandi episode in the Official Najwa Shihab account on youtube.com. Secondly, Najwa Shihab's speech data is transcribed. And thirdly, the researcher performs inventory of data. The next step is to analyze the research data through the following techniques. First, classify the data based on politeness. Second, to analyze the data obtained. ABSTRACTÂ The purpose research of this describe the impact of the discovery learning aided the media images glow of skill write the text short story class VII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Solok. This type of this study is quantitative methods of experimentation. The result of this research there were three, which is (1) the skill of the text short story class VII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Solok before using the model discovery learning aided the media image series are at sufficient qualifications (C) with an average of 60,59, (2)the skill of writing text short story class VII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Solok after using the model discovery learning aided the media image series is in the qualifications either (B) whit an average 78,89, (3) the skill of writing text story class VII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Solok after using the model discovery learning aided the media image glow is better than before using the model discovery learning aided the media image.Â Kata kunci: pengaruh, discovery learning berbantuan media gambar berseri, teks cerpen

This research aims to describe relationships between vocabulary mastery of the field of journalistic with writing skills text news the students of class XII SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. The type of this research is quantitative research using descriptive and the statistic correlation methods. Population and sample in this research is the student of the XII vocational high school, two, Bukittinggi. The population in this research is 42 students who are registered in academic year of 2017/2018. The results of research show that the mastery of the vocabulary of the field of journalism really help students in writing the text of the news. From the results of this research can be drawn the conclusion that there is a significant relationship (mean) between mastery of the vocabulary of the field of journalistic text writing skills with the news is significant on the degree of freedom, n-1, and it is significant at 95% of confident level since 10.32 of t-statistic value is greater than 1.68 of t-table value.Â Kata kunci: hubungan, penguasaan kosakata bidang jurnalistik, keterampilanÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â menulis teks berita

The purpose of this research is to describe the form of speech act directive, story strategy, politeness, and student's response in teaching and learning process in Ix class of SMP Negeri 2 Ampek Angkek. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive This research was conducted in class IX SMP Negeri 2 Ampek Angkek. Subjects in this study were Indonesian language teachers SMP Negeri 2 Ampek Angkek, Mrs. Desni Yurza and students of class IX SMP Negeri 2 Ampek Angkek. Instruments in this research is the researcher himself. The data that have been collected is analyzed by classifying the data of speech acts directive, srtategi speak, politeness, and student response in teaching and learning process. Based on the research result, it is concluded four things. First, the speech act of the Indonesian language teacher directive in class IX SMP 2 Ampek Angkek can be said is good. Second, the strategy of speaking Indonesian teachers in class IX SMP Negeri 2 Ampek Angkek still needs to be improved. Third, the principle of language-related politeness in the class IX SMP Negeri 2 Ampek Angkek needs to be improved. Fourth, the response of students in class IX SMP Negeri 2 Ampek Angkek to the speech acts of teachers has not happened a good response.Â Kata kunci: direktif, strategi, kesantunan, respon siswa.Â

ABSTRACTÂ This article was written to see the correlation of vocabulary understanding of education with the skills of writing expositional text of grade X students of SMK Negeri 1 Payakumbuh. This research data in the form of score test result of vocabulary comprehension of field of education and score of skill of writing exposition text. The data is obtained through two types of tests, ie objective tests to measure the vocabulary understanding of the field of education and performance tests to measure the skills of writing expository texts. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between the correlation of vocabulary understanding of education with the skills of writing expositional text of students of Class X SMK Negeri 1 Payakumbuh at 95% significant level with dk = n-1. Based on the t-test the hypothesis is accepted because t count> t table is 16.21> 1.67.Â Kata kunci: korelasi, kosakata, menulis, teks eksposisi
