Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is  (1) describe the characteristics of the structure that appears in the short story text of  the students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Payakumbuh, (2) describe the characteristics of the flow in the short story text of the students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Payakumbuh. The data in this research are 33 short story text. The data source of this study is an internal official document in the form of a collection of short texts of class XI MIPA 1 of SMA Negeri 2 Payakumbuh collected and archived by Indonesian teachers in semester one of the 2017/2018 academic year. Data were collected using documentation study. The research findings are short stories by students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Payakumbuh in general, built four structures, namely orientation, complications, evaluation, and resolution. Of the 33 text stories studied, only nine short stories that use abstract, while the koda is not used at all. The plot used in the short story text of students of grade XI SMA Negeri 2 Payakumbuh in general is a forward flow. Of 33 short stories written by students, 29 short stories use advanced grooves, 2 short stories using backward flow, and 2 short stories using mixed grooves. Kata kunci: struktur, teks cerpen, alur, karakteristik

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan strategi berbahasa dalam iklan minuman periode Januari-Maret 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini berasal dari 10 video iklan minuman di Televisi periode Januari-Maret 2020, yang diunduh melalui aplikasi Youtube.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to (1) describe the kinds of words aquisition by childrens 5 years old at Bukik Batabuah, (2) describe the kinds of meanings aquisition by childrens 5 years old at Bukik Batabuah, (3) describe the words by semantic field which is aquisition by childrens 5 years old at Bukik Batabuah, and (4) describe the step of semantic aquisition chidren 5 years old at Bukik Batabuah. The data of this study were  speech acts the children 5 years old at Bukik Batabuah. Data were colected by  using observation method, interview technique, record technique, and note technique. The findings of this study showed that the children 5 years old at Bukik Batabuah (1) has aquisition 12 kinds of words, they are, verb, noun, adjektive, adverbial, pronominal, demonstrative, interogative, numeral, preposition, articula,  interjection, and fatic categorial, (2) has aqusition 9  kinds of means, they are leksical, grammatical, referencial, nonreferencial, denotative, conotative, figure, idiomatic, and word meaning, (3) aquisition the most word in the activity semantic field, and (4) childen were not in the generalisation step in semantic aquisition’s step, but they are going to that step.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the personality aspect Alif Fikri of the novel Ranah 3 Warna Works Ahmad Fuadi, which includes individualita, finalisme pseudo two principal thrust/superiorita, inferiority and compensation, social encouragement, lifestyle lietlinie, and creative self. Aspects of personality associated with penokohan.Jenis research is a qualitative study using descriptive analysis. Sources of this study is the novel Ranah 3 Warna work of Ahmad Fuadi, published by Gramedia Pustaka Utama  in 2011th, consisting of 473 pages. Data collection was done with the stage (1) read and understand the novel Ranah 3 Warna by marking parts of the story that describes the data, (2) inventory data on aspects of the main character's personality with the help of a data inventory format. Analyzing the data carried by steps (1) to describe the data, (2) inventory data, (3) analyzing data, and (4) make the conclusion. Based on the results of this study revealed that Alif Fikri has all the aspects of personality based on the concept of Alfred Adler. However, the most dominant is finalisme false, while the least is the nature of individuality.

Abstract

The purpose of this study were (1) describe the form of directive speech acts are used between children and parents at the hands of Ikur Koto Koto Padang District, (2) describes the strategy used in the recalled directive speech acts between children and parents in Ikur Koto Koto district hands of Padang, (3) describe the context of the situation tells that the use of strategies used in the directive speech acts between children and parents at the hands of Ikur Koto Koto Padang District. The data of this study is a form of directive speech act, speak strategies, and context of the situation said the children and parents at the hands of Ikur Koto Koto district. Source of research data is speech between children and parents who are natives of the area. Data was collected using the methods and techniques refer to the record and advanced engineering techniques as noted. The study's findings, namely directive speech acts between children and parents.

Abstract

The purpose of this study were to (1) describe type to act directive speeches, converse strategy, increase suavity in acts housewife directive speech fisherman to its child at Gates sub-district Nan XX Lubuk Bagaluang district Padang City,  (2) describe child response to act mother directive speeches it. Data in observational it is act housewife directive speech fisherman and its child response at Gates sub-district Nan XX Lubuk Bagaluang district Padang City. Data source in observational it is mother discourse and family child response fisherman at Gates sub-district Nan XX Lubuk Bagaluang district Padang City. Gathered data by use of method learns and recording and tech tech note as tech of sequel. Observational finding as follows. First, type acts tending directive speech is utilized is act directive speech see dammed hell first. Both of, tending converse strategy is utilized is frank converse strategy without platitude. Third, act mothers directive speech fisherman family to its child tend decent. Fourth, child response to act mother directive speech it tends positive.

Abstract

This research is done to describe the pattern and the function of Speech  Act Directive Trader Vegetable in Market Alahan Panjang Kabupaten Solok. This research is also done to describe the situation of greengrocers’ speech in the market of Alahan panjang, the Regency of Solok. Data is collected by using observation technique that used tape recorder as recording instrument. Subject in this research is the greengrocers in the market of Alahan Panjang, the Regency of Solok. Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of code switching and code mixing buying and selling transaction activities in the modern market of Kuantan Bay in the Riau Province, Indonesia. In addition, this research also aims to determine the influence of the events of code switching and code mixing. The basic design of this research is descriptive qualitative. The data are the use of the language by traders and their trading partners in the modern market of Kuantan Bay when making the trading activities. The data are in the form of natural speeches. They were obtained from observations by the researchers from the buying and the selling activities. After the transaction takes place, an in-depth interview with the informant is conducted. Data collection was carried out by listening, recording, taking note, and in-depth interviews. The form of language transfer from the Malay language of Kuantan Singingi into Indonesian is the conclusion of this research. The use of the Kuantan Singingi Malay language is more dominant in the event of code switching and code mixing. The determining factors that influence the code mixing and code switching events are the habits of the speaker, speech partner, the presence of the third speaker, the specific topic and situation of conversation as well as the ability to use language which is motivated by the level of education of both by the seller and the buyer. Keywords: Malay, Code Mixing, Code Switching, Riau

Abstract

Penggunaan bentuk kalimat bahasa Indonesia dengan modus turut andil menambah khazanah praktik berbahasa Indonesia. Oleh sebab itu, tulisan ini mendeskripsikan penggunaan tindak tutur langsung sebagai perwujudan dari tipe pertanyaan yang diajukan pewawancara-narasumber, khususnya pertanyaan tertutup. Semua tuturan yang berupa pasangan ujaran pewawancara-narasumber dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipan tak langsung dan studi dokumen berupa hasil rekaman video audio-visual dari laman www.matanajwa.com Januari 2014---Maret 2014 yang telah diizinkan pihak PT. Media Televisi Indonesia (Metro TV). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tipe pertanyaan tertutup yang dilakukan pewawancara sebagai penentu dalam penggunaan tindak tutur langsung, baikuntuk menghendaki informasi berupa penegasan maupun penyebutan. Dengan demikian, penggunaan tindak tutur yang dimaksud dapat mengindikasikan adanya karakteristik dan modus tuturan dari pemakai bahasa dalam gelar wicara di televisi.
