Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran metode storytelling dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan linguistik anak, mengetahui faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat metode storytelling dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan linguistik anak. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data dianalisis dengan 1 reduksi data, display data, verivikasi dan penarikan Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Penerapan meode storytelling dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan linguistik usia 5-6 tahun., (2) Faktor pendukung penerapan metode storytelling dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan linguistik usia 5-6 tahun yaitu besarnya semangat guru dalam berstorytelling, antusias anak dan tersedianya sarana bercerita. Sebagai kesimpulan bahwa kemampuan berbicara anak dapat di tingkatkan dengan aktivitas tanya jawab seputar cerita yang didengar dan meminta anak untuk menceritakan kembali cerita atau kisah yang didengar menggunakan bahasa atau kalimatnya sendiri, selain itu anak juga bisa menanyakan kosakata yang kurang dimengerti dalam cerita yang didengar

Abstract

Pelestarian budaya daerah melalui pendidikan dasar menjadi salah satu langkah strategis untuk memperkuat identitas nasional. Guru Sekolah Dasar (SD) memiliki peran penting sebagai fasilitator utama pengenalan seni tari tradisional kepada peserta didik. Namun, keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru terhadap gerak dasar tari daerah masih menjadi kendala dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil pelatihan gerak dasar Tari Empat Etnik Sulawesi Selatan kepada guru-guru SD. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan partisipatif melalui demonstrasi, praktik langsung, diskusi, dan evaluasi unjuk kerja. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman teori tari, kemampuan melakukan gerak dasar empat etnik, Bugis, Makassar, Mandar, dan Toraja, serta meningkatnya kepercayaan diri guru dalam mengajarkan tari di sekolah. Pelatihan ini efektif sebagai model peningkatan kompetensi seni budaya guru dan berpotensi diterapkan dalam skala lebih luas.

Abstract

MSMEs are one of the pillars of the economy in Makassar City, especially small and home-based businesses that are mostly run by women. The development of digital technology has created new opportunities for women to manage their businesses more flexibly and expand their market reach without neglecting their roles at home. This study aims to understand how digital technology can support the empowerment of women MSMEs in Makassar City, while identifying the obstacles they face in the transformation process. The research uses a qualitative approach through a literature review that includes scientific articles, policy reports, and other supporting documents relevant to the topic of digitalization of women's MSMEs. The analysis was conducted by tracing findings that have a correlation between the use of technology and increased business capacity. The results of the study show that digitization provides benefits in the form of improved marketing skills, expanded sales networks, innovation in products and services, and increased confidence among women as business actors. Empowerment is not only evident from an economic perspective, but also from women's ability to make independent business decisions. Conditions in the field show that there are still many challenges that need to be addressed, such as low digital and financial literacy, limited capital, uneven internet access, and domestic burdens that take up women's time in learning technology. Sustainable change requires strong ecosystem support through consistent training, business mentoring, collaboration among stakeholders, and access to financing that is friendly to women's MSMEs. This study provides a basis for designing more effective digital empowerment strategies and opens up space for further research focusing on the real experiences of women MSME entrepreneurs in Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze family economic resilience through home-based businesses among young couples in Makassar City, focusing on the type of business they run, the economic resilience strategies they implement, and the division of roles between husband and wife in managing the business and making economic decisions. The research approach used a qualitative method with a case study design. Informants were selected through a purposive sampling technique involving young couples aged 20–40 who run home-based businesses. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and supporting documentation such as business records and activity photos. The data analysis technique used thematic analysis through a process of data reduction, coding, categorization, and drawing out key themes relevant to the research focus. The results show that young couples run various forms of home-based businesses such as culinary, home services, and online sales that contribute significantly to family income. The economic resilience strategies implemented include income diversification, saving expenses, disciplined financial management, and utilizing social networks. In addition, the division of roles between husband and wife is carried out collaboratively and egalitarian, with decision-making carried out jointly. This study confirms that home-based businesses play a significant role in strengthening the economic resilience and stability of young families in urban areas.

Abstract

Budaya inovasi di lingkungan pendidikan merupakan komponen fundamental dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan mempersiapkan peserta didik menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21. Kajian literatur ini bertujuan menganalisis strategi penguatan budaya inovasi melalui pendekatan komunitas (community-based learning) dan mentoring (mentoring-based learning) pada konteks pendidikan menengah, khususnya di SMA Amanah Nusantara Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian literatur sistematis melalui penelusuran artikel ilmiah, laporan penelitian, dan buku terbitan sepuluh tahun terakhir yang relevan dengan tema inovasi pendidikan, pembelajaran kolaboratif, dan mentoring akademik. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan komunitas berkontribusi signifikan dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kolaboratif, memperkuat kreativitas, dan meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran. Sementara itu, program mentoring terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, motivasi belajar, dan kesiapan siswa untuk berinovasi. Integrasi kedua pendekatan tersebut menghasilkan ekosistem inovasi yang lebih kuat melalui sinergi antara kerja kolaboratif dan pendampingan individual. Selain itu, dukungan kepemimpinan sekolah, fasilitas teknologi, dan kebijakan yang adaptif menjadi faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan implementasi budaya inovasi. Dengan demikian, kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penguatan budaya inovasi di SMA Amanah Nusantara Makassar dapat dioptimalkan melalui pembentukan komunitas kreatif, penerapan program mentoring terstruktur, serta penguatan kapasitas guru sebagai fasilitator inovasi. Kajian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi sekolah dalam merancang model pembelajaran yang lebih kolaboratif dan responsif terhadap perkembangan pendidikan modern.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research with the aim of knowing the description of the transformational leadership of school principals in the aspects of individual consideration and inspirational motivation at UPTD SMP Negeri 3 Tobadak, Central Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi Province. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation studies. The subjects of this research were the principal, deputy principal for curriculum affairs, deputy principal for student affairs, deputy principal for facilities and infrastructure, head of administration, and teachers. The research results show that: (1) In the aspect of individual attention, the principal's transformational leadership practices are reflected through the work environment and organizational climate which is built with an orientation towards family principles. The principal always provides opportunities for subordinates to speak and be heard at every school meeting. Apart from that, school principals also always provide opportunities for teachers to take part in training, seminars, workshops and other development programs; and (2) In the aspect of inspirational motivation, the principal's transformational leadership practice is reflected through the involvement of teachers and staff in preparing the school's vision, mission, goals and work programs as stated in the Educational Unit Operational Curriculum (KOSP) document. Apart from that, the school principal also intensely gives appreciation or appreciation for the achievements of the followers, both in verbal and non-verbal form.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to outline the principal's instructional leadership strategies for implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at SDN 006 Rantebulahan in Mamasa Regency. The principal's leadership style, motivating and impeding elements, and attempts to overcome implementation obstacles are among the topics covered. This study used a case study design and a qualitative methodology. Documentation, in-depth interviews, and observation were used to gather data. Teachers, administrative staff, and the principal were the research subjects. The Miles and Huberman model, which comprises data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, was used to examine the data. According to the findings, the principal is crucial in defining the school's goals and objectives, planning lessons in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum, enhancing teachers' methods, and creating a supportive learning environment. Parental involvement, instructor zeal, and government policy backing are examples of supporting variables. Limited resources and an early lack of curriculum understanding are among the difficulties faced. Through internal training, teamwork, and the provision of pertinent learning materials, the principal overcame these difficulties.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the internal quality assurance system in the educational unit at SMA Negeri 7 Gowa, and to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the quality assurance system at SMA Negeri 7 Gowa. This research is classified as a qualitative study. The data sources used were primary and secondary data, with data collected through interviews, documentation, and observation. Data validity was established using triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the SPMI (Internal Quality Assurance System) implementation process at SMA Negeri 7 Gowa is carried out through 5 stages that form a continuous, revolving cycle. This cycle runs for one academic year. The five stages are: standard setting, quality mapping, quality fulfillment planning, quality fulfillment implementation, and quality evaluation/audit. The improvement of the Internal Quality Assurance System Implementation at SMA Negeri 7 Gowa can be viewed as follows: 1) Input consists of standards for educators and educational staff, infrastructure and facility standards, financing standards, and management standards; 2) Process consists of the learning process, learning content, and learning assessment; 3) Output consists of graduate standards. Supporting factors were found to aid in the successful completion of all stages of SPMI activities at SMA Negeri 7 Gowa. The implication of this study is that the implementation of quality assurance at SMA Negeri 7 Gowa needs to be continuously optimized, as optimal SPMI will lead toward Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI).

Abstract

Word card media plays an important role in helping early childhood recognize letter and word symbols gradually. In the early stages, children can learn to recognize the shape of the letters through the cards, and then associate them with the appropriate sounds. In this way, the word card becomes a bridge between the child's speaking ability and the ability to read at the beginning. This study aims to determine the influence of word card use on early childhood cognitive development and analyze the factors that affect the relationship between cognitive development and word card use in early childhood. This research method uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method. The data collection technique in this study was carried out through tests and observations. The data analysis technique in this study uses the latest version of SPSS statistical software to analyze the relationship between cognitive variables and the use of word card media in early childhood. The implementation of word card media by teachers has been running effectively and systematically. There was a positive and significant influence between the use of word card media on children's cognitive abilities, which was shown by a strong correlation coefficient.

Abstract

Picture storybooks not only attract children's attention with colorful illustrations, but can also improve language skills, especially in terms of literacy. By listening to stories and looking at pictures, children can recognize new words, understand the context in which they are used, and enrich their understanding of the world around them. This study aims to find  out the description of the use of picture storybooks in early childhood, find out the description of literacy skills, and find out the influence of the use of picture storybooks on early childhood literacy skills. This study uses a quantitative approach to determine the effect of the use of picture storybooks on literacy in early childhood. The research design used is Pre Experimental in the form of One Group Pretest-Posstest Design. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistical analysis, Inferential Statistical Test (Wicoxon Signed rank test). The results of the study showed that the results of the N-Gain analysis, the literacy ability of early childhood after using picture storybooks increased in the medium category, showing moderate development and only 2 children were in the low category. These findings suggest that the use of picture storybooks is effective in improving literacy skills, although the increase has not yet reached the high category. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of picture storybooks has a positive and significant effect on improving early childhood literacy skills. The research is expected to be a reference and open up new study space related to the use of learning media in improving children's abilities. Findings on improving abilities obtained after treatment show that the selection and modification of appropriate learning media has the potential to have a positive impact on children's development.
