Abstract

This study intends to map the needs of the PGSD FKIP UMSU academic community on the development of digital teaching materials that can be accessed by students at any time because they are integrated with Android. This research is part of the research development (R&D). This type of research is an expo facto research where the researcher collects data directly from the respondent through a data collection instrument. The data collection process is a very important stage in research. The data to be collected will later be used to test the hypotheses proposed in the study where the data is obtained through interviews, questionnaires, and observations. The data analysis technique was done by using quantitative descriptive method. The results showed that there was a positive trend towards the need for digital-based teaching materials development in PGSD FKIP UMSU Study Program. So far, there has not been a single teaching material packaged by lecturers in digital form in the study program. The results of a questionnaire to students showed that 90% of students needed teaching materials that could be accessed by them at any time and wherever they were.

Abstract

Penelitian dalam artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaanrelasi leksikal repitisi pada teks berita utama rubrik nasional khusus politik mediamassa online Tirto.id edisi Maret 2021. Penelitian yang digunakan dalam artikelini ialah pendekatan teoretis dan pendekatan metodologis. Pendekatan teoretisdalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis wacana. Data penelitian iniadalah penggalan wacana berita politik yang terdapat pada media massa onlineTirto.id dalam rubrik nasional edisi Maret 2021. Penelitian ini dilakukan melaluitiga tahap, yaitu (1) penyediaan data, (2) analisis data dan (3) penyajian hasilanalisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada beberapa jenis-jenis relasi leksikalrepetisi dalam wacana rubrik berita politik meliputi repetisi epizeuksis(pengulangan kata secara langsung dan berulang terus-menerus dalam satukalimat), repetisi epistrofa (pengulangan kata padai akhir kalimat), repetisimesodiplosis (pengulangan kata di tengah kalimat), dan repetisi anadiplosis(pengulangan kata di akhir kalimat yang menjadi kata pertama pada kalimatberikutnya).

Abstract

Muhammadiyah Development Partnership Program (PKPM) through the internal funding of Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra was conducted to assist teachers in managing active learning through the MIKIR strategy (Experiencing, Interaction, Communication, and Reflection). The PKM activity partners are two schools from among the UMSU partner schools, namely SD Muhammadiyah 12 Medan. Specific targets to be achieved through the implementation of PKPM activities produce professional and skilled teachers in managing active learning so that the learning provided is more interesting and meaningful for students. The approach method offered in this PKPM activity is training and mentoring with stages: 1) Initial meeting to partner teachers in the activity of equality perception about active learning through MIKIR techniques, 2) Intensive training and mentoring, 3) classroom practice in partner elementary schools, and 4) evaluation of the results of activities. Each stage is carried out maximally, so that the competency of the assisted teacher becomes better in managing active learning which is oriented towards MIKIR activities

Abstract

This study has purposes to develop the teaching materials for 3.7 and 4.7 basic competencies to identify and retell the values and the content in folklore through digital comics based of North Sumatran folklore and for X grade students at SMA Negeri (senior high school) 4 Medan.  Research & Development (R&D) method is used in this study, meanwhile the development model used is Four D with the stages of 1) Defining, 2) Designing, 3) Developing and 4) Disseminating.  The final results showed that after passing a feasibility test through a validation assessment by material experts, the average score of 2 experts was 91.38%, the average score of the media expert for validation assessment was 85.22%, the result of the small group trial was 89.58% and the result of the large group trial was 90.21%.  The effectiveness test of digital teaching materials usage based on the evaluation of learning outcomes reached an average of 80 in which 24.3% obtained the interval score of 90 TPS ≤100, 63.6% obtained the interval score of 75 TPS < 90, and 8.1 % obtained the interval score of 60 TPS < 75. Based on the research findings, the digital comic based teaching material of North Sumatra Folklore was suitable to be disseminated to help teachers and students in comprehending the Indonesian language lessons in identifying and retelling the values in the folklore.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari sebuah latar belakang masalah tentang tindak tutur ilokusi yang akan dianalisis dari sebuah novel. Tujuan pembuatan artikel jurnal yakni, ingin mendeskripsikan tentang tindak tutur dalam novel Kami (Bukan) Sarjana Kertas karya J.S. Khairen. Tindak tutur ilokusi merupakan tindak tutur yang diberitahukan oleh si penutur biasanya berupa peringatan, sambutan, dan janji. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif yang menghasilkan suatu data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis maupun lisan dari setiap orang beserta perilaku yang telah dianalisis oleh peneliti. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Kami (Bukan) Sarjana Kertas karya J.S. Khairen. Penelitian ini terfokus pada analisis tindak tutur ilokusi. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tindak tutur kata maupun kalimat yang mengandung tindak tutur ilokusi dalam novel Kami (Bukan) Sarjana Kertas karya J.S. Khairen. Hasil dari penelitian ini tentang makna tindak tutur ilokusi yang terdiri dari: tindak tutur ilokusi asertif, tindak tutur ilokusi direktif, tindak tutur ilokusi ekspresif, tindak tutur ilokusi komisif, dan tindak tutur ilokusi deklaratif.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat efektivitas pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA RK Deli Murni Bandar Baru dalam pembelajaran daring dengan sampel siswa kelas XII tahun 2020/2021. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Alasan penelitian ini dilakukan karena pembelajaran daring merupakan hal baru bagi sekolah di pinggiran kota. Sumber data utama dalam penelitian ini data primer dan data sekunder dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan teknik survei melalui wawancara, observasi lapangan, dan angket dari subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas XII dalam pembelajaran daring dapat terlaksana dengan efektif karena guru dan siswa dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Namun, siswa dan guru ingin kembali melangsungkan pembelajaran tatap muka karena lebih tepat digunakan, dilihat dari situasi dan kondisi peserta didik dan sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode tes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan media video terhadap keterampilan menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas VII SMP Tahfizh Qur’an Amanah 1 Helvetia. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teknik tes yang terbagi menjadi dua yaitu pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis yang digunakan menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif yaitu sebuah teknik guna menggambarkan perolehan hasil belajar siswa mulai dari yang tertinggi hingga yang terendah berdasarkan perolehan hasil dari pretest dan posttest.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the directive speech act, to find out the directive speech act in the film Sejuta Sayang Untuknya, and to find out the scenario of learning directive speech acts in the film Sejuta Sayang Untuknya in class XI of SMA. The subject of this research is the film Sejuta Sayang Untuknya, directed by Herwin Novianto. This research focuses on directive speech acts and speech forms in the film Sejuta Sayang Untuknya by director Herwin Novianto. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was carried out using the free-of-charge listening technique (SBLC) and note-taking techniques. From the results of the study, it was found that there were six directive speech acts, including eighteen command directive speech acts, ten request directive speech acts, six invitation directive speech acts, twelve advice directive speech acts, nine speech criticism directive speech acts, and four directive speech acts. ban. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) menjelaskan dan mendeskripsikan masalah sosial yang terdapat dalam cerpen romanauli karya emasta evayanti simanjuntak, (2) mengetahui hubungan analisis sastra dengan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode pustaka dan dokumentasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari cerpen romanauli karya emasta evayanti simanjuntak. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah ditemukan berbagai masalah sosial yang ada dalam cerpen romanauli karya emasta evayanti simanjuntak antara lain masalah kemiskinan, masalah kejahatan, masalah disorganisasi keluarga, masalah lingkungan hidup, dan masalah kekerasan. Selain berbagai masalah sosial, pada penelitian ini juga ditemukan bahwa hubungan hasil penelitian dengan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA pada kurikulum 2013 adalah sebagai materi ajar.

Abstract

Mandailing Natal and Central Tapanuli on the west coast of North Sumatra have a lot of folk tales. The inheritance of folk tales from generation to generation has experienced a shift due to the lack of intensity in speaking across generations, especially the younger generation. Folk tales is increasingly being heard by the younger generation in the villages, including those on the west coast of North Sumatra. The inventory of the legends in the west coast of North Sumatra coast is needed urgently as an effort for the initial step of folk tales documentation. So far, there has not been any research conducted on folk tales in the area. The purpose of this study is to take an inventory of the legends that exist in the west coast of North Sumatra. The method used in the research method is in place (field research). The results showed that there are 12 folk tales, they are The Mystery of the Tortoise Well, The Origin Name of Bangkelang, The Legend of Bukit Bendera, The Aek Busuk, The Giant, The Sacred Urn of Papan Tinggi, The Legend of Ujung Sibolga, The Mystery of Batu Layang, The Legend of Lake Begu, The Origin of Sikaduduak Hill, The Princess Andom Dewi, and The Legend of the Begu Marpayung Forest. Furthermore, these folk tales were packaged into teaching materials for ethnic literature courses at the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Unimed. The next stage is the teaching materials are integrated into the Indonesian Language and Literature teaching materials for junior high school students in the west coast of North Sumatra.
