Abstract

The rapid development of technology in the 21st century requires innovation in Indonesian language learning, especially in writing skills. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Scramble learning model integrated with Camtasia media on the procedural text writing skills of 7th-grade students at UPT SMPN 27 Medan. The methodology employed was a quantitative experiment using a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design with a sample of 29 students. Data were collected through essay tests and analyzed using t-test statistics. The results indicated a significant improvement: the pretest average was 49 (poor category), increasing to 66 (good category) in the posttest. Statistical analysis yielded a thitung = 5.57, exceeding ttabel = 2.048 (df=28, α=0.05). These findings confirm that the Scramble model combined with Camtasia media significantly enhances students' ability to organize procedural steps and apply linguistic rules, providing a more interactive and structured learning environment.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an electronic student worksheet (e-LKPD) based on an in-depth learning approach that is in accordance with the needs of high school grade XI students in understanding news text material. Preliminary findings show that learning is still dominated by printed books and printed LKPD which is suspected to cause monotonous learning so that students are passive and have difficulty understanding news text material. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D development model that is simplified to 3D without proceeding to the dissemination stage. The e-LKPD developed has been validated by material expert validators and media expert validators which were then conducted on a limited scale trial with 10 students in grades XI-7. The validation results showed that e-LKPD was at the "very feasible" criterion for use in learning with a percentage of 85% for the material and 89% for the media. The final product is an e-LKPD based on a deep learning approach designed using the Canva application.
