Abstract

One of the uniqueness and challenges of seafarers in working on a ship is transferring from one ship to another, where each ship is different so that the risks or dangers of each ship also vary. The purpose of this research is to find out the initial steps for seafarers who have just joined work, so that they are familiar with their new ship (safety equipment, equipment and work procedures, etc.) as well as the potential dangers that may occur including alarms, tasks and actions in dealing with these distress situations. The research uses a literature review method, with references to national and international regulations in the maritime sector, maritime publications, journals, books and other relevant sources. The results of the research, Shipboard Safety Familiarization is an obligation that must be given to crew members who have just joined a ship, even though by standard Seafarers before working on a ship already have knowledge and skills related to safety equipment, firefighting, medical, effective communication, and distress conditions. (from alarms, fastest refugee routes, to actions that must be implemented). Familiarization is provided by the Captain or appointed Officer and the Crew they replace regarding safety equipment and work equipment, Duties and Responsibilities according to position and when there is a Danger situation, rules and decisions regarding Work Safety and Security of the Company that operates the ship with a gradual duration of time

Abstract

Perusahaan Farmasi menilai kinerja keuangannya melalui beberapa aspek antara lain dari hutang perusahaan yang digunakan untuk menjalankan operasi perusahaan dan dari sisi profitabilitasnya yang digunakan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar laba yang dihasilkan dari opersi perusahaan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi Return On Assets perusahaan sektor Farmasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Tipe penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian explanatory, dengan satuan pengamatan 45 perusahaan dan satuan analisis 8 perusahaan dimana menggunakan teknik sampling purposive sehingga sampel atau data yang digunakan adalah 40. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang bersumber dari laporan keuangan perusahaan sektor Farmasi yang diperoleh dari website resmi Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial Current Ratio, Debt To Equity Ratio, Total Assets Turnover, dan Working Capital Turnover berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Return on Assets (ROA). Sedangkan Size berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Return on Assets (ROA) pada perusahaan sektor Farmasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dikarenakan tidak semua total assets dapat digunakan dalam memperoleh laba/profit.. Secara serempak Current Ratio, Debt To Equity Ratio, Total Assets Turnover, Size, dan Working Capital Turnover berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Return on Assets (ROA) pada perusahaan sektor Farmasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Secara Uji Koefisien Determinasi variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen sebesar 77,5% dan sisanya 22,5%. Dengan nilai sebesar 22,5%, maka sisanya dijelaskan oleh model lain di luar model yang diteliti seperti : Quick Ratio (QR), Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR) dan lain sebagainya.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in the national economy, but often face significant challenges in access to capital, business assistance, and training. Although cooperatives have the potential to become a collective economic vehicle to empower MSMEs, the effectiveness of their role is still not optimal due to low cooperative literacy among MSME actors, stagnation of innovation and digitalization within cooperatives, and weak synergy with other MSME empowerment ecosystems.This Community Service aims to socialize the role of cooperatives in empowering MSMEs, identify factors causing low cooperative literacy and its impact on MSME participation, and analyze the challenges of cooperative innovation and digitalization. This service uses training and education methods, preceded by a preliminary survey to identify the main problems in the target MSME, namely the Witana Harja Sport Center MSME in South Tangerang.The results of the activity showed a significant increase in understanding among the management and business actors of the Witana Harja Sport Center UMKM regarding the importance of the role of cooperative institutions in facilitating access to low-cost capital and supporting business success, especially in small industries. This socialization also succeeded in increasing understanding of the formation and management of good cooperatives based on the principle of family. Therefore, this activity is expected to encourage active participation of UMKM in cooperatives, so as to create economic independence and strengthen the local economic structure. It is recommended that sustainable cooperation be established between UMKM and cooperative actors to support business development for the common welfare and national economic recovery

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh peran kepala sekolah terhadap profesionalitas dan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) di sekolah dasar di Desa Pangkalan Tampoi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah guru-guru di SDN 015 dan SDN 020 Pangkalan Tampoi. Teknik pengumpulan data melibatkan angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa peran kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap profesionalitas guru dengan nilai Sig. sebesar 0,028, yang berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Demikian pula, pengaruh peran kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi guru yang signifikan dengan nilai Sig. sebesar 0,009, sehingga H1 diterima. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa dukungan dan bimbingan dari kepala sekolah berperan penting dalam meningkatkan profesionalitas guru dan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun RPP. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan strategi dan program pengembangan profesional dan kompetensi bagi guru.

Abstract

This community service activity was conducted to optimize English language learning through the implementation of the Flipped Classroom model for students of SMP IT Imam Syafi’i 2 Pekanbaru, Riau, Indonesia. The activity aimed to enhance students’ learning engagement, autonomy, and comprehension in English through a student-centered instructional approach. The program was implemented in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Learning materials in the form of instructional videos and digital resources were provided prior to classroom meetings to enable students to study independently. Face-to-face sessions were then devoted to interactive discussions, collaborative tasks, and communicative practice to reinforce students’ understanding and language skills. The outcomes of the program indicated increased student participation, improved motivation, and better mastery of English materials. The Flipped Classroom model contributed to creating a more active and meaningful learning environment. Therefore, this community service initiative demonstrates that the Flipped Classroom approach can serve as an effective instructional strategy to support English language learning at the junior high school level

Abstract

This study examines how strategic talent management shapes the performance of Generation Z employees, particularly those born between 1997 and 2007 and actively working within Indonesia’s expanding digital economy. While this cohort is often described as highly adaptive and technologically fluent, many organizations still rely on conventional HR practices that do not fully align with the realities of remote and hybrid work. Using a quantitative approach, the study applies Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to survey data from 200 professionals recruited via LinkedIn. The results point to Talent Deployment (β = 0.349) and Talent Development (β = 0.247) as the strongest predictors of Workforce Agility, which in turn significantly drives Organizational Performance (R² = 0.277). What stands out, though, is not just the strength of these relationships, but how they connect. The mediation analysis suggests that talent strategies only become effective when they activate adaptive behaviors. Without agility, the impact weakens. This leads to a broader conclusion that performance is less about static talent inputs and more about how fluidly those inputs are mobilized. The study proposes a Human Capability Architecture perspective, emphasizing flexible role alignment and continuous upskilling as practical priorities for firms navigating an increasingly volatile digital environment.

Abstract

The problem of regional tax management in Metro City is evident in the low compliance of PBB-P2 taxpayers who still rely on manual payments and the minimal socialization of digital services. This condition has resulted in tax revenue not meeting targets despite increasing numbers every year. In response to this problem, the Metro City Regional Tax Office (BPPRD) introduced an online tax service to simplify the reporting and payment process. This study aims to assess the service's success, supporting factors, and obstacles to its implementation using qualitative methods through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that online tax services can increase access and accelerate payments, but are not yet fully effective in encouraging regional tax optimization. Supporting factors include local government policy support, digital system readiness, and the BPPRD's commitment to encouraging the use of online services. Meanwhile, the main obstacles stem from a lack of socialization, limited digital literacy among the community, technical glitches, and information delivery that has not yet reached neighborhood units (RTs), resulting in uneven use of the service. Therefore, it is necessary to expand socialization, strengthen digital education, and improve system stability so that online tax services can function more optimally and contribute to regional tax revenue.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Overweight atau kegemukan ialah suatu penyakit yang dicirikan oleh akumulasi lemak tubuh yang berlebihan. Anak yang menderita kelebihan berat badan akan mempunyai risiko tinggi terjadinya obesitas. Analisis data Riskesdas (2018) mengenai status gizi anak usia 5-12 tahun mengungkapkan prevalensi overweight sebesar 10,8% dan obesitas sebesar 9,2% secara nasional. Di tingkat provinsi, Sumatera Selatan mencatat angka overweight 10,2% dan obesitas 9,1%. Lebih spesifik lagi, di Kota Palembang ditemukan prevalensi overweight 8,12% dan obesitas mencapai 11,59%.Tujuan: Studi ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan flashcard tentang pencegahan obesitas anak dapat memperbaiki pemahaman dan perilaku siswa overweight.Metode penelitian: Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan quasi-eksperimental dengan memberikan tes awal dan akhir pada satu kelompok sampel. Penelitian dilakukan sepanjang tahun 2024, mulai dari bulan kedua hingga bulan kelima. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji statistik non-parametrik Wilcoxon.Hasil: Nilai p yang diperoleh dari uji Wilcoxon lebih kecil dari 0.05, mengindikasikan adanya perbedaan yang bermakna antara kedua kelompok pada kedua variabel yang diukur.Kesimpulan: Adanya pengaruh edukasi media flashcard “Pencegahan Overweight pada Anak” terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap siswa overweight di SD Negeri 126 Palembang.
