Abstract

This developmental research aims to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of video-based learning media on the human digestive system material. The background of this study is based on the observation that students remain passive when solving problems, show low enthusiasm during learning processes, have underdeveloped critical thinking skills, experience difficulty in understanding the digestive system material, and the lack of existing video-based learning media for this topic. This developmental research follows the Lee & Owens development model. Data collection techniques include questionnaires and tests, with data analysis consisting of both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Based on validation results from media and design experts as well as content experts, the developed video-based learning media was deemed feasible and ready for testing. Teacher evaluations classified the media as highly feasible, while student responses in the individual trial phase yielded a very good category with a percentage of 92.77%. Similarly, in the small group trial, the student response was also very good, with a percentage of 93.14%. The analysis of pretest-posttest results of students' critical thinking skills using the n-gain test showed a score of 0.60, which falls into the moderate category. It can be concluded that video-based learning media, incorporating problem-based learning, is an effective educational tool to enhance students' critical thinking skills in the human digestive system material.

Abstract

Miskonsepsi adalah pemahaman konsep yang terdapat didalam pikiran siswa yang bertentangan dengan konsep ilmiah. Untuk itu perlu diterapkan model yang dapat mengatasi miskonsepsi siswa yaitu model Problem Based Learning dan model Project Based Learning.  Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membandingkan model mana yang paling baik dalam mereduksi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi laju reaksi. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi experiment, dengan desain penelitian menggunakan 1 kelas kontrol dan 2 kelas eksperimen. Instumen yang digunakan berupa four-tier diagnostic test. Sasaran penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMAN 3 Jambi. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui pretest dan postest. Uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji independent sample-test yang diawali dengan uji normalitas dan homogenita terlebih dahulu. Hasil analisis menunjukkan model PBL dan PjBL dapat mereduksi miskonsepsi siswa sebesar 5% dan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kedua model.

Abstract

As part of good government governance, transparency, Accountability and participation are non-negotiable principles in management government. Good Governance can be realized if government institutions have it good transparency and accountability. Openness of public information aims to realizing good governance, so that the public can actively participate in controlling it every policy step taken by the government. As a Public Agency, PPID Ministry ESDM is obliged to provide and publish public information, provide information to the public or applicants for public information that is accurate, true and not misleading and in a simple way. On the other hand, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) continues to strive to improve program performance and policies in the fields of education, culture, research and technology. One of them is by improving service excellence (service excellence) which is oriented towards stakeholders. Indications of the success of the Ministry of Education and Culture's programs and policies are wrong the other is satisfaction from stakeholders in the form of a stakeholder index score satisfaction. To measure the level of customer satisfaction, a survey is needed national level which is carried out in a sustainable manner. In the bureaucratic reform program The Ministry of Education and Culture has determined eight program areas of change to focus on bureaucratic reform within the Ministry of Education and Culture, namely, 1) Change Management; 2) Strengthening Supervision; 3) Strengthening Performance Accountability; 4) Institutional Strengthening; 5) Strengthening Management; 6) Strengthening the HR Management System for Apparatus; 7) Reinforcement Legislation; 8) Improving the Quality of Public Services consisting of: (a) Student Services; (b) Education Unit Services; (c) Educational Substance Services; (d) Teacher and Education Services; (e) Cultural Services; (f) Available Language Services supported by optimization through improving the performance of the Ministry of Education and Culture's PPID in sector/subsector. The BPS RI is the main reference that can be accessed by the public related to Indonesian data and statistics, optimizing the role of PPID in its agencies by issued PPID BPS Decree NUMBER: B-323/02400/HK.200/07/2022 concerning Public Information Service Standards In BPS Environment. This research aims to carry out a Multiple Comparisons of Fulfillment of Responsive, Communicative and Educative Aspects of PPID BPS, Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia and Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia Using Bonferroni – ANOVA Post Hoc Test.

Abstract

The government is trying to improve the quality of education by updating the curriculum and technology. Critical thinking means understanding what needs to be understood and planning it. To learn chemistry, students need a good understanding. This is especially true for chemical bonds, which are difficult topics and require a strong understanding of concepts. Because it combines four main areas—science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—STEM helps learningThe purpose of this study was to determine how effective STEM-based interactive media with the help of Articulate Storyline 3 improves students' ability to think critically about chemical bonding material. Interactive media can affect students' ability to think critically, according to research findings. Previous studies have proven this. The study improved students' critical thinking skills in ways such as educating them, focusing questions, analyzing arguments, and deciding on actions. Interactive STEM-based media is very important to improve students' critical thinking skills during the learning process. Therefore, this interactive media has the potential to improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia uses the independent curriculum as a tool to achieve goals. Self-regulated learning is the process of creating or monitoring affective and cognitive processes during the completion of academic tasks. One of the important chemical materials to understand is the Buffer Solution material. The contextual approach helps teachers relate the material taught to real-world situations and relate what they know to application in everyday life. In the learning process, the use of interactive media can improve students' understanding of concepts, their achievements, and self-regulated learning abilities. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of contextual interactive multimedia oriented to self-regulated learning of students on buffer solution materials. This study uses a narrative review method by comparing data from several relevant journals. The results of the study show that the use of interactive multimedia has a great effect on self-regulated learning ability. This is proven in previous research that the use of contextual-based interactive multimedia is very practical and fosters interest in the learning process so that it will have an impact on self-regulated learning capabilities. So that buffer solution materials presented with contextual-based interactive multimedia are very influential and can improve self-regulated learning capabilities.

Abstract

This research is included in Research and Development (R&D) research which aims to develop Instagram-based microblog learning media with buffer solution material that is valid, feasible and practical. This development research uses the Lee & Owens development model which consists of the analysis design, development, implementation and evaluation. This research was carried out at SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi with research subjects namely class, student and teacher response questionnaires. Data validation and distribution of questionnaires were carried out using qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the research results, the learning media developed has been tested as highly valid by material expert validators with a validity percentage of 84.4% and media experts at 92%. Furthermore, learning media is also very practical for students to use with a practicality percentage of 91% and a practicality percentage from teachers of 89%. From the research results it can be concluded that the media developed is suitable for use in the chemistry learning process, especially buffer solution material.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the development of a station revolution type blended learning model based on project based learning focused on junior high school students' mathematical critical thinking abilities consisting of a station rotation type blended learning learning method, a project based learning learning model, and a focus on students' critical thinking. This research is development research using the ADDIE method with development stages of individual trials, small group trials and field trials. This research was carried out at SMP N 5 Jambi City in class VIII.G, the instruments used were open and closed questionnaires as well as pretest and posttest questions, this research data was qualitative and quantitative using the N-gain test. The results of this research obtained a value of 0.7748, which can be classified as an increase in the N-Gain score, the ability to develop Blended learning based on the PjBL model, critical thinking orientation is categorized as high, and the results of the pre-test and post-test are critical thinking oriented for 39 students after learning. dare to use the PjBL RPP model in a BL type Station rotation material, straight line equations, the percentage of N-gain values ​​obtained in the pretest and posttest analysis of the mathematical critical thinking questionnaire is 77.48%. interpret the increase in effective mathematical critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Education is important to increase human resources so that in education one of them needs attitude and self-efficacy in students. This study aims to analyze the differences and the relationship between attitudes and self-efficacy of science students. This study uses quantitative methods with associative and comparative types. The instrument used was a questionnaire linkers scale consisting of 5 categories. The numbers of respondents in this study were 160 students of two classes namely: class VIIA and VIIB. Differential statistical test is carried out by testing assumptions and testing hypotheses. Based on the results of the study, the attitude and self-efficacy t-test of class VII A and VII B students had significant differences. This was evidenced by the value of sig (2-tailed) < 0.05. And the correlation test scores of female students and male students of grades VII A and VIIB have a significant relationship, this is evidenced by the value of sig (2-tailed) which is <0.05. With the results obtained that there is a comparison between female students and male students on each indicator. Students' attitudes and self-efficacy towards science learning are categorized as good enough for both female and male students. The results of the tests that have been carried out in this study also show that there are differences and relationships between attitudes and self-efficacy on the gender of students. However, most of the students' attitudes have a category that tends to be quite good.

Abstract

The use of e-Modules currently plays a significant role in facilitating the learning process in classrooms, as modern technology enables effective and independent learning. This is particularly relevant in chemistry education, specifically in the topic of green chemistry, which extensively discusses environmental issues. The principles of green chemistry can be implemented in daily life by incorporating the strengthening of the Pancasila Student Profile. This study aims to explore the development process of an e-Module, its theoretical feasibility as assessed by subject matter experts and media experts, as well as teacher evaluations and student responses to the developed e-Module. The research adopts the Lee & Owens development model, which is adapted from ADDIE, utilizing interviews and questionnaires as research instruments. The e-Module product was validated by subject matter experts and media experts and evaluated by chemistry teachers. Trials were conducted on an individual and small-group basis. Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively by calculating the average response scores and percentage of feedback. The validation results indicate that the e-Module received a score of 3.7 from subject matter experts (categorized as feasible) and 4.6 from media experts (categorized as highly feasible). Teacher evaluations yielded a score of 4.8 (highly feasible), while the individual trial reached 92.6%, and the small-group trial obtained 87.6%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the developed e-Module is feasible for use in chemistry learning, with the reinforcement of the Pancasila Student Profile in the topic of green chemistry in senior high schools.

Abstract

In the Industrial Era 4.0 which has entered the Society Era 5.0, mastery of Science and Technology is one of the key indicators of the success of the Indonesian nation in facing global competition. The purpose of this study is to analyze the digital literacy competency of science students using a questionnaire and digital literacy competency evaluation instrument for Chemistry Science related to independent learning within the scope of Heutagogy. This research method uses an applied mixed-method research approach conducted online and offline, using a simple random sample. The sample of this study is representative of FKIP UNJA students. The results of this study provide information that the digital literacy competency of Chemistry Education students is generally in the good category, and quite good when analyzed in terms of cognitive aspects, both in terms of attitude and also in terms of skills. Meanwhile, for general digital literacy skills, FKIP UNJA students are still low in terms of analyzing problems digitally. Policy options that can be implemented in the future are with various techniques and programs, including the use of PBL and Case Study models in the learning process, providing opportunities for students to take digital-based lectures in the Information Systems Study Program, and others through the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka program.
