Abstract

Given the increasing prevalence of mental health challenges in digital work settings, especially among IT remote workers, early detection mechanisms have become critically important. This study aims to improve the prediction accuracy of mental health conditions among IT remote workers by integrating feature engineering techniques within machine learning models. Five algorithms consisting of Random Forest, Logistic Regression, K-Nearest Neighbors, Decision Tree, and Naive Bayes were evaluated. The Random Forest model achieved the best performance, with 83% accuracy, 83% precision, 100% recall, and a 90% F1-score, followed closely by Logistic Regression with 82% accuracy. Nevertheless, the results demonstrate the feasibility of applying machine learning to support the early detection of mental health risks, offering a strong foundation for future research in predictive analytics and the development of intelligent support systems within digital work environments.

Abstract

Shrimp is a food ingredient that has perishable characteristics, so it requires proper handling to maintain product quality and safety. This study aims to understand the application of the quality system in frozen shrimp processing based on the principle of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) at PT Dachan Mustika Aurora Tarakan. The research was carried out during the period from July to December 2024 with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study show that the frozen shrimp processing system has followed the principles and stages of HACCP in general, starting from the receipt of raw materials, temperature checks, organoleptic tests, laboratory tests, processing with temperature control, washing, sorting, packaging, to storage in cold storage. However, there are still critical points at the Metal Detector washing and inspection stages, with the potential for significant danger in the form of metal chip contamination. The quality control process is carried out in layers to ensure that the final product meets national and international standards. The implementation of HACCP has consistently proven to be effective in improving food safety, maintaining the quality of frozen shrimp, and strengthening the competitiveness of products in the export market. These findings provide recommendations for the seafood processing industry to strengthen surveillance systems at critical points and improve personnel training to minimize the risk of contamination and ensure the sustainability of product quality.

Abstract

E-sport is a new electronic sport that involves competing in video games. E-sports is known as a sport that uses gaming as its field. Growing e-sports provides many benefits to players who want to become pro players or e-sports athletes. The form of legal protection that can be given to e-sport athletes is preventive and repressive, one of which is done through an employment agreement contract with athletes, so that the employment agreement contract can be a form of legal remedy in employment agreements related to wages. This study aims to determine how the legal rules apply to e-sport athletes regarding employment contracts. The method used is a qualitative descriptive research method of empirical legal nature. The data collection technique or instrument used is library research by studying various books as literature, official documents, laws and regulations, results of previous research, and other literature sources related to the problem under study. The results showed that the most important and fundamental legal protection is contained in the employment agreement. This work agreement will be the legal umbrella for the legal relationship between the athlete and the e-sport team as the provider. The legal rules for e-sport athletes related to employment contracts are regulated in the Indonesian Electronic Sports Management Board Regulation Number: 034 / PB-ESI / B / VI / 2021 concerning the Implementation of Electronic Sports Activities in Indonesia and Law No. 11 of 2022 concerning Sports.

Abstract

The study was conducted at the Vannamei Shrimp Pond Unit of the Pontianak State Polytechnic Technology Excellence Center, Mempawah Regency, and the Vannamei Shrimp Enlargement Unit of the Vocational and Nautikan High School, Sambas Regency. The study aims to determine the growth performance and survival of vannamei shrimp feed conversion intensively raised using probiotics in the dry season (March-August) and the rainy season (September-February) in 2022-2023. PL-15 vannamei shrimp fry were stocked at a density of 120/m2 in 2 pond plots with an area of 2,500 m2 and 2 pond plots of 3000 m2. The data collection method used observation and participation in the cultivation process, starting from land preparation, feed management, and water quality to harvest. The data were analysed descriptively, and a literature review was conducted to compare the technical activities applied in the field with the supporting theoretical basis. From the 120-day maintenance activity in the dry season, the average value of SR was 98.27%, biomass 26,749.7 kg, ABW 41.58 gr/pcs, ADG 0.27 gr/pcs, this shows relatively better results when compared to the rainy season maintenance period with an average value of SR 85.73, Biomass 20,794.6 kg, ABW 35.11 gr/pcs, ADG 0.21gr/pcs.Keywords:ProbioticsVannamei ShrimpIntensiveDry SeasonRainy Season
