Abstract

This paper fills an essential gap in applying cognitive load theory in teaching computer programming within vocational settings. It is an important area to consider for improving students' learning processes who intend to enter the rapidly changing technology sector. This study assessed the distinct impacts of the instructional paradigms, specifically Example-Problem-Based Learning (EPBL) and Problem-Based Learning (PBL), on students' cognitive loads upon framing an iterative structure lesson on computer programming. Vocational programming education is chosen for this purpose because vocational education faces unique challenges in integrating practical skills development with theoretical understanding, and programming tasks involve high cognitive demands. In a quasi-experimental design, 68 vocational high school students were assigned to an EPBL (n = 34) and a PBL (n = 34) group. The measurement of ICL was operationalized by RPI, the ECL by ME, and the GCL by LO. The relationship among the various components of the cognitive load was tested using the Spearman correlation test. There are significant differences in the profile of cognitive load between the two groups: the EPBL group was always associated with the lower ECL and higher GCL. In other words, the present study is original because it systematically compares EPBL with PBL in the context of vocational programming education and provides empirical evidence based on instructional design decisions. These findings suggest a further refinement of the CLT within domain-specific contexts and practical guidelines for optimizing instructional strategies in computer programming education in vocational schools.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the results of the needs analysis in developing interactive multimedia-based learning media so that it can improve learning outcomes and support the learning interaction process and can motivate students during learning activities. This learning media was built by adapting the ADDIE model which consists Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation phase. The results of this research test are the learning outcomes of students increase after using learning media. Hypothesis testing with Paired Sample T-Test technique produces a hypothesis that there are differences in learning outcomes due to the use of learning media. The test results based on the use of learning media by students resulted in an average eligibility of media in support of learning interactions of 85.81% and learning motivation of 87.05%. That is, learning media can be categorized as very feasible to be used to build learning interactions and learners' learning motivation.

Abstract

Bentuk otomasi yang banyak diterapkan adalah automated customer service, seperti chatbot dan asisten virtual. Banyak perusahaan yang mengembangkan chatbot dan asisten virtual salah satunya di bidang e-commerce. Chatbot merupakan sebuah perangkat lunak yang dibuat untuk meniru cara manusia berkomunikasi menggunakan teks. Asisten virtual merupakan program komputer yang dibuat untuk meniru interaksi dengan manusia dan mendukung penyelesaian berbagai pekerjaan. Penggunaan chatbot dan asisten virtual berbasis AI terbukti memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan serta memengaruhi keputusan pembelian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana penggunaan chatbot dan asisten virtual pada aplikasi Lazada memengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan dan keputusan pembelian. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara online kepada minimal 195 responden dan diuji menggunakan regresi dengan variabel mediasi. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan LazzieChat dan CLEO berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Selanjutnya, penggunaan LazzieChat dan CLEO juga berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian serta kepuasan pelanggan juga memberikan pengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian. Akan tetapi, kepuasan pelanggan tidak terbukti memiliki peran penting sebagai variabel intervening dalam memengaruhi pelanggan pada keputusan pembelian. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan automated customer service berbasis AI seperti chatbot dan asisten virtual dapat meningkatkan pengalaman pelanggan secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dan keputusan pembelian di aplikasi Lazada. Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) memiliki program pendidikan, yaitu Praktek Kerja Lapangan atau yang biasa disebut PKL. PKL bertujuan meralisasikan kebijakan link and match guna mencetak peserta didik yang sesuai dengan kualifikasi kebutuhan Dunia Usaha/Dunia Industri. SMK Negeri 2 Malang selaku penyelenggara kegiatan PKL melakukan proses penempatan berdasarkan formular pendaftaran yang ditentukan oleh jarak bepergian dan keminatan berbasis pendamping. Maka dari itu, perlunya pemberian rekomendasi tempat PKL meliputi aspek kompetensi peserta didik sebagai kriteria penunjang keberhasilan penempatan PKL. Profile matching merupakan mekanisme yang umum digunakan dalam sebuah sistem pengambilan keputusan dengan mempertimbangkan tingkat variabel prediktor oleh subjek serta mengasumsikan tingkat ideal yang harus dimiliki mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis berbasis metode profile matching dengan bahasa pemrograman phyton, PHP, dan SQL untuk merekomendasikan penempatan PKL yang sesuai berbasis klasifikasi jenis PKL. Hasil pengujian dengan lima sampel data siswa menggunakan metode korelasi spearman rank menghasilkan nilai senilai 1 untuk jenis PKL Mobile Engineering, 0,9 untuk jenis PKL Software Engineering dan, 0.9 untuk jenis PKL Internet of Things. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian tersebut, model analisis menggunakan metode profile matching layak digunakan untuk menempatkan kegiatan PKL di SMK Negeri 2 Malang pada Jurusan Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan.

Abstract

Perkembangan Financial Technology (Fintech) telah membawa perubahan dalam penyediaan dan akses layanan keuangan termasuk di kalangan Generasi Z. Pengguna cryptocurrency mengalami peningkatan pada bulan maret dengan mayoritas pengguna baru tersebut merupakan Generasi Z dan milenial. FIRE Movement semakin populer di kalangan Generasi Z yang tertarik pada gagasan untuk mencapai kebebasan finansial di usia muda melalui pengelolaan keuangan yang disiplin dan investasi. Penelitian ini berupaya menganalisis faktor yang mempengaruhi minat penggunaan cryptocurrency di kalangan Generasi Z di DKI Jakarta menggunakan model Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). Responden pada penelitian ini merupakan pengguna aktif atau pernah menggunakan cryptocurrency, termasuk generasi Z (18-27 tahun), dan berdomisili di DKI Jakarta. Responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah 130 orang dengan mengumpulkan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan lima dari delapan hipotesis diterima karena memiliki hubungan yang positif dan efek yang signifikan. Performance expectancy, perceived security, early retirement berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap behavioral intention cryptocurrency. Selain itu facilitating conditions dan behavioral intention berpengaruh positif terhadap use behavioral cryptocurrency. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelompokkan kinerja dan kompetensi karyawan CV Mediatama Perkasa menggunakan metode K-Means Clustering dan mengevaluasi hasil klasterisasi berdasarkan Key Performance Indicators (KPI) perusahaan serta matrik evaluasi seperti Silhouette Score dan Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI). Variabel penelitian meliputi tingkat absensi, tingkat kesalahan kerja, indeks lingkungan kerja, dan motivasi kerja. Teknik t-Distributed Stochastic Neighbor Embedding (t-SNE) digunakan untuk memvisualisasikan hasil klasterisasi. Hasil menunjukkan dua klaster utama dengan karakteristik yang berbeda. Cluster 0 memiliki performa yang lebih baik dengan tingkat absensi rendah dan motivasi kerja tinggi, sementara Cluster 1 menunjukkan performa yang lebih rendah dengan tingkat kesalahan kerja lebih tinggi. Evaluasi menggunakan Silhouette Score (0,199) dan DBI (1.76) mengindikasikan bahwa klasterisasi ini memiliki kualitas yang baik. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan strategis bagi Divisi SDM untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan melalui pelatihan berbasis klaster, insentif kehadiran, dan pengembangan kebijakan KPI yang lebih relevan.

Abstract

Vocational High School with ICT major need an intelligent computing system that could predict the student learning achievement. The system used fifteen achievement indicators and Naïve Bayes algorithm in data processing. Testing on student achievement data produces the conclusion that is the highest intelligent accuracy values in 53% with lowest accuracy value in 48% based on Naïve Bayes algorithm processing. The result of mining process using Naïve Bayes algorithm can be used to classify the 3rd year student achievement to five categories. These categories are Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor, and Failed. The system testing result showed that this intelligent computing system function was fitted with Vocational High School’s system requirement, system design, and system implementation.

Abstract

Computer and Network Fundamental is one of the teaching subjects atComputer and Network Engineering Vocational High School in Indonesia. Thelearning activities at the research location was less interactive because of thelearning process still uses conventional textbooks or static digital books.Solutions that offered in the research are not only interactive digital book productdevelopment inappropriate way but also product implementation in experimentaldesign. The development used Four-D Model. The experimental design usedMatching-Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The instrumentation usedobservation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Content Validity Content(CVR) value based on Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) evaluation result for goal,learner, learning, context, and technical criteria are above 0.75. Paired T-Test andIndependent T-Test results showed that interactive digital book implementationin the learning process can cause an enhancement in student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The Information Technology Education (ITE) study program, Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya requires its students to take part in Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan (PLP) 2 according to Permenristekdikti No. 55 of 2017 in order to be able to produce prospective teachers who have the competence of educators. This study describes the gap in mastery of competencies with the TPACK framework based on the results of PLP 2 activities which are compared with standard values using a discrepancy evaluation model. The results of the gap are mapped using the method Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) to determine the priority scale for improvement of variables according to positions in certain quadrants. Through the IPA method, the variables that are prioritized to improve their mastery are TPK and PCK because they have very small gaps. Recommendations are given for the TPK variable to be given a pretest and posttest on the material for preparing teaching tools and training in the preparation of lesson plans. For the PCK variable, should be given pretest and posttest to the study material for theoretical and practical learning scenarios, the activities are needed lesson study which is carried out at least twice.
