Abstract

Pendidikan memegang peranan penting dalam mengembangkan sumber daya manusia berkualitas. Proses pembelajaran harus mengadaptasi metode yang efektif untuk menjamin pencapaian hasil belajar yang optimal bagi siswa. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan hasil belajar mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) pada siswa kelas V di SD GMIM VIII Tomohon. Penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang melibatkan 14 siswa dengan dua siklus. Siklus pertama menemui banyak kendala seperti kurangnya keterlibatan siswa, kurangnya kolaborasi dalam kelompok, serta kurangnya motivasi guru. Evaluasi siklus pertama menjadi dasar untuk perbaikan pada siklus kedua. Siklus kedua menunjukkan perubahan yang signifikan setelah peningkatan interaksi siswa, partisipasi dalam diskusi, dan pemanfaatan pendekatan PBL yang lebih baik. Hasil belajar meningkat signifikan dari 68,57% pada siklus pertama menjadi 86,07% pada siklus kedua. Kesimpulannya, PBL berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan. Perbaikan strategi pembelajaran dengan fokus pada interaksi siswa, partisipasi dalam diskusi, dan pemanfaatan pendekatan PBL membawa perubahan yang positif. Meskipun penelitian hanya sampai siklus kedua, keberhasilan pada tahap ini memberikan dasar yang kuat untuk penggunaan PBL sebagai model pembelajaran yang efektif. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk mengadopsi dan mengembangkan PBL sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa serta untuk penelitian lebih lanjut dalam jangka waktu yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Melalui pemantauan dikelas VI SD GMIM 34 Manado menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar yang dicapai siswa pada kelas bahasa Indonesia khususnya pada kelas keterampilan Berbicara belum memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas VI SD GMIM 34 Manado dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Talking Sticks Batasan peneltian ini dibatasi pada Talking Stick mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas VI SD GMIM 34 Manado. Metode yang digunakan adalah peneltian tindakan kelas (PTK) terdiri dari empat langkah: observasi, perencanaan, aksi/tindakan dan refleksi, dengan dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa data hasil belajar siswa, terdapat perbedaan antara kedua kelompok yaitu siklus pertama hanya mencapai 66%, sedangkan siklus kedua mencapai 94% dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran Talking Stick menjadikan siswa tidak merasa bosan, siswa menjadi lebih terlibat aktif, kreatif, dan fokus selama kelas khususnya dikelas bahasa Indonesia kelas VI GMIM 34 Manado. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Talking Stick dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas VI SD GMIM 34 Manado.

Abstract

The acquisition of children's language at the phonological level in psycholinguistic studies is very interesting to be discussed by experts and researchers. The study of language acquisition in the field of phonology is important in the field of phonology in children. This research was conducted to analyze children's language acquisition. This research is qualitative because it is appropriate to systematically, factually, and accurately describe language acquisition. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were children aged 2 to 4 years. The data collection method in this study is observation. Observation or direct observation of the research object is intended to get a clear picture of the existence of the research object and the activities carried out. After the data is collected, a discussion is carried out using the distribution method. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative analysis. The data were analyzed based on the forms and functions in the language of children aged 2-4 years. The study results are that children's language acquisition at the age of 2-4 years is different for each child, but this is considered reasonable because the language acquisition that occurs in each child is not the same. Children aged 2-4 years can use the sound of pronouncing words and sentences in consonant acquisition; children aged 2-4 years can pronounce vowels; while in acquiring syntax, children aged 2-4 years can use the best words and sentences.

Abstract

Neuromarketing is a rapidly growing field that uses neuroscience to understand consumer behavior and improve marketing effectiveness. This article explores the complex ethical implications of neuromarketing practices, especially regarding persuasive influence on consumer autonomy and the use of emerging technologies. First, we investigate advances in neurotechnology, such as fMRI, EEG, and brain-computer interfaces (BCIs), that enable a deeper understanding of consumer preferences. The challenge is enforcing this technology's ethical use and protecting individual privacy. Second, we discuss "neuro hacking," exploiting neurological vulnerabilities to influence consumer decisions. This raises ethical questions about mental safety and individual autonomy. Third, algorithms and artificial intelligence in Neuromarketing create highly personalized marketing experiences. This raises questions about how to protect privacy, obtain consent, and maintain individual agency. Fourth, we explore cultural issues in Neuromarketing, exploring how cultural values must be respected in marketing practices. Fifth, we discuss security and data protection issues in using neuromarketing technology. Sixth, we investigate the role of government and regulatory agencies in regulating neuromarketing practices and protecting consumer rights. Finally, we highlight the importance of education about neuroethics in educating marketers, researchers, and consumers about the ethical aspects of Neuromarketing. This article encourages critical reflection on the ethical dilemmas businesses, researchers, and policymakers face in the rapidly evolving world of Neuromarketing.

Abstract

The economic crisis has had a significant impact on various sectors of life, including education. One of the problems that emerged was the drastic increase in dropout rates among children from underprivileged families. The economic impact leads to the inability of families to fulfil basic needs, including the cost of their children's education. As a result, many students have to leave school to help the family economy or because parents lose their jobs and income. To address this problem, a comprehensive solution involving various parties is needed. Financial support in the form of education subsidies can help ease the burden of school fees. In addition, improving the quality and access to better education facilities will provide fairer learning opportunities for all students. The implementation of technology in education is also an important step to ensure flexible access to learning, especially for those who are physically challenged to attend school. Collaboration between the government, educational institutions, NGOs and communities is crucial in creating an enabling environment for children to continue their education amidst the economic crisis. With concerted efforts, it is hoped that the dropout rate can be reduced and children can continue to get proper educational opportunities.

Abstract

Tujuan riset ini untuk mengenali apakah terdapat hubungan nilai belajar matematika siswa dan pola asuh orang tua. Riset mengadaptasi kuesioner dari Puspicahyani (2006) serta didistribusikan kepada 60 siswa kelas V SD Advent Unklab Airmadidi untuk mengenali adanya hubungan pola asuh orang tua terhadap nilai belajar Matematika. Riset ini merupakan penelitian deskripstif kuantitatif, digunakan untuk menanggapi rumusan permasalahan. Hasil riset ini mengindikasikan pola asuh orang tua yang dilihat dari 3 model pola asuh ialah otoriter, demokratis serta permisif, yang dominan merupakan pola asuh demokratis dengan menggunakan spearman r’ho p=.350 Perihal ini berarti orang tua siswa kelas V SD Advent Unklab Airmadidi lebih dominan dalam mempraktikkan pola asuh demokratis. Berikutnya buat tingkatan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika nilai Meter= 83.4, yang maksudnya kalau siswa mempunyai hasil yang baik pada mata pelajaran Matematika. Hasil dari riset ini meyakinkan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan Nilai belajar Matematika siswa.

Abstract

Abstrak Latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini ialah kebutuhan untuk meneliti peran orang tua terhadap anak mereka yang berkuliah sebagai mahasiswa yang bekerja paruh-waktu di kampus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) perhatian orang tua, (2) prestasi belajar mahasiswa yang berkuliah sambil bekerja, dan (3) menguji hubungan antara perhatian orang tua dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa yang berkuliah sambil bekerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Luar Sekolah, Program Studi Ekonomi dan Program Studi Agama Fakultas di Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Klabat. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ialah 67 orang mahasiswa yang bekerja sambil berkuliah yang diperoleh menggunakan metode convenience sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan mean score dan Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perhatian orang tua berada pada kategori selalu/tinggi, dan prestasi belajar mahasiswa yang bekerja sambil berkuliah berada pada kategori sangat memuaskan. Yang terakhir, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat perhatian orang tua dengan tingkat prestasi belajar mahasiswa dengan kategori korelasi sedang. Kata kunci— mahasiswa, perhatian orang tua, prestasi belajar. Abstract The background of conducting this research was the need to study the role of parents toward their children who work part-time while studying on campus. This study aims to describe (1) parental attention, (2) labor students’ achievement while studying, and (3) examine the relationship between parental attention and student achievement while working. This study uses a descriptive correlational method. The study population was students of the Out of School Study Program, Economics Study Program, and Religious Study Program at the Faculty of Education and Teaching Science, University of Klabat. A sample of 67 labor students were taken using the convenience sampling method. The data were analyzed using the mean score and Pearson Product Moment Correlation analyses. The results showed that parental attention was in the always/high category and labor student achievement while studying was in the very satisfying category. Finally, there was a significant correlation between parents' attention and students’ achievement with a moderate level of correlation. Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of teacher performance management in vocational high schools in producing superior graduates. The problem raised is the low ability of students to compete in the world of work, which indicates the need for better management strategies. The urgency of this study lies in the importance of understanding the factors that influence teacher performance and the strategic position of schools in improving student competitiveness. The purpose of the study was to examine indicators of positional advantage and their impact on institutional performance in vocational high schools. The research method used was a survey with a sample of 457 vocational high school teachers in West Java Province. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires designed based on relevant indicators, using a Likert scale to measure key variables such as teacher performance and industry support. Data analysis was carried out using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to evaluate the relationship between variables. The results showed that positional advantage had a significant effect on institutional performance, with factors such as industry support and education management contributing positively. This finding confirms the importance of developing an integrated management strategy to improve teacher performance. The conclusion of this study is that strengthening the strategic position of schools can improve student competitiveness. The implications of this study provide insight for education managers and stakeholders in formulating policies that support improving the quality of education in Vocational High Schools, so that graduates can be better prepared to face challenges in the world of work.

Abstract

In education in Indonesia, there is a lack of effective examples provided by leadership in designing learning and implementing it in the field. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of leadership on changes in secondary schools. The research method used was quantitative involving 562 secondary school teachers as respondents. The sample collection technique was carried out randomly. The data collection technique uses an instrument developed with a rating scale of 1 to 5 points. The data analysis technique is carried out using descriptive statistics with the help of SPSS version 25.0 to calculate the average value and analyze the relationship between variables. As a result, it was found that all dimensions of leadership were at a high category level. The mean showed that teachers' confidence in the implementation of their leadership as a whole was in the good category. These findings indicate that leadership wars make a significant contribution to changes in educational management for the better in secondary schools. The conclusion of this research is that application to leadership needs to be increased in schools and must be sustainable between new and old leaders. So that the effectiveness of learning can be maximized by teachers in junior high schools. The implications of this research indicate the need for training and development from leaders to teachers in junior high schools in improving the quality of planning management and implementation of learning.
