Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of implementing discipline for employees and organizations. Discipline will affect work and organizational goals. Employees who do not have good discipline will result in unsatisfactory performance. discipline has an impact on performance, of course, performance is related to employee work results. Because poor work results will certainly affect the goals and even the existence of the organization. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of work motivation on employee work discipline with job satisfaction as an intervening variable for employees of the Public Housing and Settlement Area Office of Pekanbaru City. This research method is quantitative descriptive method. Primary data is obtained directly through questionnaire results. The research sample amounted to 45 employees at the Public Housing and Settlement Area Office of Pekanbaru City. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it is concluded that: (1) work motivation, work discipline and job satisfaction of employees of the Public Housing and Settlement Area Office of Pekanbaru City are quite good. This is known from the average assessment of the three variables which are in the good enough category; (2) there is an effect of work motivation on employee work discipline; (3) there is an effect of work motivation on employee job satisfaction; (4) there is no effect of job satisfaction on employee work discipline, and; (5) there is no effect of work motivation on work discipline and job satisfaction as an intervening variable in employees of the Public Housing and Settlement Area Office of Pekanbaru City.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the New Hollywood Hotel Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of career development and salary provision on employee loyalty. Career development and salary provision as independent variables (X1,X2) while employee loyalty as the dependent variable(Y). The problem in this research is the decline in employee loyalty at Hotel New Hollywood Pekanbaru. This can be seen from the company attendance data. The sample of this research was taken as many as 55 respondents from the population calculated using the census/total sampling technique. The data obtained from the questionnaire results and then processed to then be tested with statistics through the SPSS program. The analysis technique uses the regression equation, the coefficient of determination (R2) test, and hypothesis testing, namely the partial test (t test) and simultaneous test (f test). The results of test carried out show that career development and salary provision have a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty at the New Hollywood Hotel Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompensasi terhadap loyalitas karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja karyawan pada salah satu distributor alat berat di Kota Pekanbaru. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini ditandai dengan adanya karyawan yang sering tidak masuk kerja sehingga diberikan SP 3 (Surat Peringatan), dan cuti atau izin lama melebihi waktu yang diberikan yang mengindikasikan adanya ketidak loyalitasan karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan sensus sampling yang melibatkan total 80 karyawan. Metode analisis data menggunakan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4.0 untuk analisis model persamaan struktural (SEM). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kompensasi dapat mempengaruhi loyalitas karyawan secara signifikan. Variabel kompensasi mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja secara signifikan. Variabel kepuasan kerja mempengaruhi loyalitas karyawan secara signifikan. Kemudian hasil penelitian ini diperoleh kompensasi dapat mempengaruhi loyalitas karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja secara tidak langsung dan signifikan. Kompensasi yang diberikan diikuti dengan meningkatnya kepuasan kerja dalam diri karyawan sehingga meningkatkan loyalitas karyawan. Dengan demikian semakin baik kompensasi yang diberikan perusahaan semakin meningkat kepuasan kerja maka semakin baik pula loyalitas karyawan.Kata Kunci : Kompensasi; Loyalitas Karyawan; Kepuasan Kerja

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the aquaculture business sector in Indonesia are able to be resistant in facing global economic changes, and are able to become the backbone of the local and national economy. In addition to being an opportunity, changes in the business environment tend to be uncertain, and become a threat that is difficult to control. The failure of SMEs in the aquaculture sector to adapt will threaten business sustainability in the future. So, it is necessary to have a strategy at the organizational level in managing these threats. This article attempts to measure the implementation of financial capability and organizational agility as antecedents of business sustainability. The unit of analysis that was measured was MSME fishpond cultivation in Kampar Regency. Based on Slovin's formula, the number of samples needed is 98 people. The data analysis process uses the SEM method through a partial least square approach. Based on the results of the analysis, fish pond cultivation SMEs in Kampar Regency have implemented all dimensions of financial capability as a strategy to take advantage of opportunities that arise in the market to create business sustainability. The results of data processing through the SEM method, one of the dimensions of the construct, namely organizational agility, gets a weak significance or probability value on business sustainability. This proves that fish pond cultivation SMEs have not optimized all their resources to adapt to changes in the business environment. The findings of this study indicate that with financial management in the aspect of human resources, agility characteristics will be created where business actors/fish pond farmers can quickly adapt to changes in technology that are currently developing, through the use of venture financing services from non-bank financial institutions.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of regional government in Indonesia that has not fully optimized the regional financial performance. The good financial performance of a government in the region can be seen through how the government in the region regulates and manages its Regional Budget and Expenditures (APBD) which are used to provide financing for development needs and activities in the region. Performance from a financial perspective that is going well and is progressing will be directly proportional to the increase in regional income. This means that there is efficiency and effectiveness of the working power of finance in local governments. There is an increase in the working power of the finances will bring the existing government in the region to be able to optimize the allocation of capital expenditure in order to fulfill regional development and have an impact on improving the quality of public services. The purpose of this study is to analyze the working power of Regional Government finances, both Provinces, Regencies and Cities in the region of Riau Province by measuring the level of Efficiency Effectiveness of Regional Original Revenue, Regional Finance, Degree of Fiscal Decentralization, independence from Finance in the Region , as well as the SiLPA Financing Rate. The results of the study show that the working power of Regional Finance in the form of Regional Financial Efficiency, Effectiveness of Local Own Revenue, Degree of Fiscal Decentralization, independence from Regional Finance, and Level of SiLPA Financing jointly influence and have significance for spending from capital for Public Services. Partial Financial Independence in the Regions does not have significance nor influence in the context of Capital Expenditures for Public Services. The effectiveness of Regional Own Revenue partially has no significance and also influences Capital Expenditures for Public Services. The efficiency of Regional Finance partially has significance and also influences on Capital expenditures for Public Services. And the level of SiLPA financing partially has no significance and also no influence on capital spending for public services.

Abstract

Semakin berkembangnya era globalisasi, menuntut organisasi untuk terus bergerak maju. Kemajuan organisasi tidak terlepas dari peran sumberr daya manusia hal ini dikarenakan kekuatan setiap organisasi terletak pada sumber daya manusianya sehingga setiap kinerja karyawan akan menentukan kinerja organisasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada BPJS Kesehatan Cabang Pekanbaru dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh beban kerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan BPJS Kesehatan Cabang Pekanbaru. Beban kerja dan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel independen (X) sedangkan kinerja karyawan sebagai variabel dependen (Y). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode total sensus, yang dimana seluruh sampel diambil dari seluruh total populasi karena kurang dari 100. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil kuesioner diolah dengan pengujian statistik melalui SPSS 24. Dari hasil pengujian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja bepengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan, dimana ?????i????????????g= 8.389 > ???????????????????????? = 1.987 dan nilai sig sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, selanjutnya kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan dimana ?????i????????????g = 8.121 > ???????????????????????? = 1.987 dan nilai sig 0,000 < 0,05. Serta beban kerja dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan, dimana nilai uji f?i????????????g = 39,622 > f????????????????????= 3,10 dan nilai sig sebesar 0,00 < 0,05.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mengetahui serta menganalisis pengaruh antara motivasi kerja dan konflik kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Upaya Tehnik Riau Daratan. Sebagai aspek penting dalam kehidupan ekonomi dan sosial bisnis merupakan kegiatan yang sangat menarik saat ini, dan telah mengalami berbagai tantangan baru dalam persaingan bisnis saat ini. Untuk menghadapi berbagai persaingan bisnis maka pelaku bisnis harus bersaing agar memiliki sumber daya manusia yang tepat membantu keberhasilan organisasi. Variabel independen atau bebas pada penelitian ini ialah motivasi kerja (X1) dan Konflik kerja (X2) kemudian yang menjadi variabel dependen ialah kinerja (Y). Metode penelitian ini yakni metode kuantitatif. Populasi yang dipergunakan sebanyak 130 karyawan serta sampel sebanyak 98 karyawan yang menjadi responden dimana digunakan teknik simple random sampling dimana digunakan rumus slovin untuk menuntukan total sampel responden pada PT. Upaya Tehnik Riau Daratan, pada penelitian ini ialah data primer yang didapat dengan menyebarkan kuesioner pada PT. Upaya Tehnik Riau Daratan, yang selanjutnya diklasifikasikan secara statistik memakai program SPSS. Hasil yang didapat pada penelitian memperlihatkan secara parsial variabel motivasi kerja (X1) berpengaruh terhadap kinerja (Y), secara parsial variabel konflik kerja (X2) berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y). Secara simultan hasil penelitian memperlihatkan adanya pengaruh antara motivasi kerja (X1) dan konflik kerja (X2) terhadap kinerja (Y).

Abstract

Peluang bagi masyarakat dalam mendirikan UMKM sangat terbuka luas, terutama bagi masyarakat di pedesaan yang masih sangat perlu meningkatkan perekonomian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Hal ini tentunya membutuhkan keterampilan pada sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kecakapan, kemampuan dan kemauan yang tinggi dalam pengelolaan usaha. Namun, pada kenyataanya kapasitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) UMKM di Indonesia masih sangat kurang. Minimnya pengetahuan kelompok mengenai pengelolaan usaha, akses pasar, promosi serta keuangan menjadikan kelompok ini hanya memproduksi berdasarkan permintaan saja. Penelitian ini bertujuan Peningkatan Kapasitas SDM melalui konsep Community Social Capital dalam upaya pengembangan usaha UMKM di Desa diharapkan mampu memberikan manfaat secara berkelanjutan serta mampu berdampak pada kesejahteraan masyarakat sehingga mampu menjadikan UMKM sebagai salah satu wadah peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, survey, FGD, penyampaian materi, diskusi, dan penyebaran angket. Dengan menggunakan analisis komparasi responden di dapat hasil respon positif pada pelaksanaan pre test dan post test yang mengalami kenaikan dari angka 5,8 menjadi 17,7 serta respon negatif pada pre-test dan post test yang menurun, yaitu dari angka 14,2 menjadi angka 2,3. Berdasarkan gambaran perubahan pengetahuan bahwa sejumlah 96% pelaku usaha selaku peserta kegiatan pengabdian telah memahami upaya penting dalam pengembangan usaha tertutama dengan melakukan pemberdayaan modal sosial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mengetahui serta menganalisis pengaruh antara reward dan punishment terhadap disiplin kerja karyawan pada Pabrik Buatan Satu (PBS) PT Inti Indosawit Subur Asian Agri Riau. Dalam kehidupan dunia bisnis tidak akan pernah terlepas dari kata persaingan. Persaingan kuat menuntut setiap para pelaku usaha meningkatkan produktivitas serta kualitas sumber daya manusia dan strategi yang dipakai dalam menghadapi persaingan yang terjadi, baik dengan teknologi dan sarana prasarana yang mendukung serta canggih. Variabel independen ialah reward (X1) dan punishment (X2), kemudian yang menjadi variabel dependen ialah disiplin kerja (Y). Metode penelitian ini yakni metode kuantitatif. Populasi sejumlah 109 karyawan serta sampel sejumlah 52 karyawan yang menjadi responden dimana digunakan teknik simple random sampling dan rumus slovin untuk menentukan total sempel responden pada Pabrik Buatan Satu (PBS) PT Inti Indosawit Subur Asian Agri Riau. Sumber data berupa data primer yang didapat dengan sebaran kuesioner pada Pabrik Buatan Satu (PBS) PT Inti Indosawit Subur Asian Agri Riau, yang selanjutnya diklasifikasikan secara statistik memakai program SPSS. Hasil uji memperlihatkan secara parsial variabel reward (X1) berpengaruh terhadap disiplin kerja (Y), secara parsial variabel punishment (X2) berpengaruh terhadap disiplin kerja (Y). Secara simultan memperlihatkan adanya pengaruh antara reward (X1) dan punishment (X2) terhadap disiplin kerja (Y).

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the influence of workload and work environment on employee job satisfaction at PT Hutahaean Group Pekanbaru. This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The population in this study is employees of PT Hutahaean Group Pekanbaru with a sample of 66 respondents. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires, and data analysis was carried out with the help of SPSS (Statistical Product And Service Solution). The results of this study show that workload has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction, the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, and workload and work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT Hutahaean Group Pekanbaru.
