Abstract

Introduction: Basic Health Research stated that 76.2% of young women received iron supplements in the last 12 months, and only 2.13% of them consumed iron tablets as recommended. Anemia in adolescence causes reduced physical and mental capacity and diminished concentration in work and educational performance. Purpose: This study aimed to assess the impact of peer mentoring and its effect on tackling anemia in adolescent girls. Methods: The method used was quasy experiment and was conducted for 12 weeks from July-November 2022. The case group consisted of teenagers at SMP 1 Mamuju and the control group was at SMPN 1 Malunda 1. Results: Before the intervention, the anemia status in the case group was 19.2%, and post-intervention was 9%. The control group before intervention was 20.5%, and after intervention, it was 2.6%. There was no difference in the Hb test results for the two sample groups (p-value 0.319). After the intervention, the two sample groups had a difference in Hb changes (p-value 0.000). Conclusion: Changes in Hb before and after the intervention showed differences in the case and control groups (p-value 0.000). Peer assistance is highly recommended as one of the anemia interventions among female adolescents.

Abstract

Pariwisata di Pantai Dato Kabupaten Majene berpotensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi sektor unggulan daerah. Namun, pengembangan pariwisata perlu memperhatikan keberlanjutan agar memberikan manfaat jangka panjang bagi masyarakat dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis adaptasi kebijakan pengelolaan wisata di Pantai Dato dalam mewujudkan pariwisata berkelanjutan menggunakan kerangka AGIL. Penelitian kualitatif ini menemukan bahwa secara umum kebijakan pengelolaan wisata di Pantai Dato telah berorientasi pada konsep pariwisata berkelanjutan. Namun, pada tataran implementasi teknis masih terdapat kesenjangan dengan prinsip berkelanjutan terutama terkait regulasi teknis dan sosialisasi. Diperlukan adaptasi kebijakan melalui penguatan regulasi, koordinasi lintas sektor, sosialisasi, dan pemantauan rutin. Rekomendasi kebijakan disusun agar pengembangan pariwisata di Pantai Dato dapat optimal dalam memberikan manfaat ekonomi, sosial, dan pelestarian lingkungan. Dengan adaptasi kebijakan yang tepat, diharapkan pariwisata Pantai Dato dapat tumbuh secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The exploitation of children as beggars in Lhokseumawe City poses a significant challenge to the implementation of social welfare policy mandated by Aceh Qanun No. 11 of 2013. This study aims to dissect the policy's implementation model by focusing on three core pillars: rehabilitation programs, inter-agency synergy, and social assistance mechanisms. Employing a qualitative approach, data were gathered through in-depth interviews with key policy-implementing actors from the Social Service Agency, Public Order Agency (Satpol PP), and the Office for Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (DP3A). The findings reveal a complex and paradoxical implementation model. Rehabilitation programs, while discursively framed within social investment rhetoric, function more as protective emergency mechanisms in practice. Inter-agency synergy proves effective yet fragile, as it relies on informal relational networks rather than an institutionalized system. Furthermore, the intervention's overarching focus on saving individual children inadvertently overlooks the structural reproduction of poverty at the family level, revealing a constant compromise between policy idealism and field realities. Abstrak Eksploitasi anak sebagai pengemis di Kota Lhokseumawe menantang implementasi kebijakan kesejahteraan sosial yang diamanatkan oleh Qanun Aceh No. 11 Tahun 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membedah model implementasi kebijakan tersebut, dengan berfokus pada tiga pilar utama: program rehabilitasi, sinergi antar aktor, dan mekanisme bantuan sosial. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan para aktor kunci pelaksana kebijakan dari Dinas Sosial, Satpol PP, dan DP3A. Hasil penelitian mengungkap sebuah model implementasi yang kompleks dan penuh paradoks. Program rehabilitasi, meski berlandaskan retorika investasi sosial, dalam praktiknya lebih berfungsi sebagai mekanisme protektif darurat. Sinergi antar aktor terbukti efektif, namun rapuh karena bertumpu pada jejaring relasional informal, bukan sistem yang terlembaga. Lebih lanjut, keseluruhan intervensi yang berfokus pada penyelamatan individu anak secara tidak langsung mengabaikan masalah reproduksi kemiskinan struktural di tingkat keluarga, menunjukkan sebuah kompromi konstan antara idealisme kebijakan dengan realitas lapangan.

Abstract

Problems after the crystallization process make powder products require further handling. Household-scale equipment makes the processing time longer, and the performance load is excessive for the material being fed. One of these processes makes it difficult to improve the production capacity of red ginger powder. The challenge of appropriate technology is one solution for MSMEs in Karawang. Success is achieved through batch or semi-continuous feeding of red ginger powder. The processing time for the uniformity process stage of red ginger powder size is shorter. About 10% of the time of the previous simple equipment. Past equipment takes up to 2 hours with the lowest production capacity of 3 kg. The prototype implementation can save up to 90% processing time in the size reduction stage with a capacity performance test of up to 7x semi-continuous. Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series – OHSAS and maintenance related to appropriate technology to support post-community service activities are established through industrial cooperation in Karawang, namely PT Temaru Engineering Indonesia. Collaboration between the community, academics, and industry practitioners has been fostered sustainably over the past three years. This achievement impacts progress for other improvements for MSME Karawang towards the production of 1 ton per month. Permasalahan pasca proses kristalisasi menjadikan produk bubuk membutuhkan penanganan lebih lanjut. Pemanfaatan peralatan skala rumah tangga menjadikan waktu proses lebih lama dan beban kinerja berlebih terhadap material yang diumpankan. Salah satu proses ini mengakibatkan kesulitannya perbaikan di kapasitas produksi bubuk Jamer Karawang. Tantangan dari segi teknologi tepat guna menjadi salah satu solusi bagi mitra UPPKS Bakti Lestari desa Karyabakti kecamatan Batujaya kabupaten Karawang provinsi Jawa Barat. Keberhasilan dicapai melalui pengumpanan bubuk jahe merah secara batch maupun semi-kontinyu. Waktu proses untuk tahap proses penyeragaman ukuran bubuk Jamer menjadi lebih singkat. Sekitar 10% dari waktu peralatan sederhana sebelumnya. Peralatan lampau membutuhkan hingga 2 jam lamanya dengan 3 kg kapasitas produksi terendah. Implementasi prototipe mampu menghemat waktu proses hingga 90% pada tahap size reduction dengan uji kinerja kapasitas hingga 7x secara semi-kontinyu. Sisi Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja – K3 serta perawatan terkait penggunaan teknologi tepat guna untuk mendukung pasca kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat terjalin melalui kerjasama industri di Karawang, yaitu PT Temaru Engineering Indonesia (TEiN). Kolaborasi dan sinergitas antara masyarakat, akademisi, dan praktisi industri telah terbina secara berkelanjutan selama tiga tahun ke belakang. Capaian ini memberikan dampak kemajuan bagi pembenahan lainnya pada mitra UMKM Jamer Karawang untuk menuju produksi 1 ton per bulan. Peningkatan kapasitas produksi, manajemen produksi, perubahan yang lebih pesat dari sisi pengetahuan dan perilaku penggiat usaha bubuk jahe merah akan menggiring ekonomi mandiri dan pemberdayaan masyarakat menuju persiapan jual beli produk Jamer ke negara luar Indonesia.

Abstract

This research analyzes the spiritual dimensions and blessings in the tradition of memorizing the Quran in Islamic boarding schools. Memorizing the Quran serves not only as a cognitive effort but also as a means to strengthen the spiritual connection of students with Allah SWT. Through interaction with the holy verses, students experience an increase in spirituality that impacts their character, discipline, and quality of life. This study employs a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, involving in-depth interviews and observations to explore the experiences of students. The findings indicate that the blessings felt by students are closely related to their closeness to the Quran, which provides inner peace and ease in facing life's challenges. This research is expected to contribute to the development of more effective tahfidz learning methods in the boarding school environment.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether the IKN-related discourses produced by the Indonesian government constitute a green narrative that promotes ecological conservation and protection or are merely greenwashing strategies designed to gain public acceptance. Fifty-two articles taken from the Indonesian government’s official website about IKN, https://ikn.go.id/ are the data source of this research. Utilizing AntConc and NVivo software, the researchers investigate the word frequency of environmentally related lexical choices and complete an analysis of the six-taxonomy of greenwashing. The results reveal that five greenwashing strategies are prominent: attention deflection, deceptive manipulation, decoupling, selective disclosure, and inefficient public voluntary programs. These strategies reflect the gap between environmental claims and actions, with the government focusing on technological solutions while downplaying or omitting critical ecological issues such as deforestation, biodiversity loss, and indigenous displacement. This research makes a valuable contribution to the field of ecolinguistics by emphasizing the need for a critical examination of governmental environmental narratives, particularly in situations where ecological claims are used to justify large-scale development. This analysis could be further developed in the future by integrating indigenous perspectives, ecological data, and longitudinal monitoring of IKN's environmental impact.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the matrix and trace the hypogram of the poem Hal Hādhihi ‘Alāmah by Nizar Qabbani through the perspective of Michael Riffaterre’s semiotic theory. The analysis focuses on poetic symbols and expressions of ungrammaticality (indirection) as key mechanisms in the construction of meaning. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through close reading, while analysis was conducted using Riffaterre’s dual reading model, namely heuristic and hermeneutic readings. The study examines selected stanzas that display patterns of symbolic repetition, metaphorical language, poetic diction, and pronoun usage associated with the representation of a female figure. The findings indicate that the matrix of the poem centers on the figure of sayyidatī (سَيِّدَتِيْ), which is actualized through various linguistic models in the form of words, expressions, and poetic imagery that consistently refer to an idealized woman. The potential hypogram is represented by the figure of sayyidatī and its lexical variants, such as anti (أَنْتِ), unṡāyā (أُنْثاَيَ), and dumyyah (دُمْيةٌ), while the actual hypogram refers to Balqis al-Rawi, the poet’s wife, as well as to an intertextually related poem within the same anthology, Hal Ya‘rifu al-Qurrā’?. This study demonstrates that Riffaterre’s semiotic framework is effective in revealing the latent structure of meaning in Qabbani’s romantic poetry through the systematic relationship between matrix, model, and hypogram. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis matriks dan melacak hipogram dalam puisi Hal Hādhihi ‘Alāmah karya Nizar Qabbani melalui perspektif semiotika Michael Riffaterre. Kajian ini berfokus pada simbol-simbol puitik dan ungkapan yang mengandung ketidaklangsungan ekspresi (ungramatikalitas) sebagai mekanisme utama pembentukan makna. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskriptif dengan teknik pembacaan cermat, sementara analisis data dilakukan melalui pembacaan ganda Riffaterre, yakni pembacaan heuristik dan hermeneutik. Analisis dibatasi pada bait-bait utama yang menunjukkan pola repetisi simbolik, penggunaan metafora, diksi puitik, dan kata ganti yang merepresentasikan figur perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa matriks puisi berpusat pada sosok sayyidatī (سَيِّدَتِيْ), yang dimanifestasikan melalui berbagai model linguistik berupa kata, ungkapan, dan citraan puitik yang mengarahkan makna pada figur perempuan ideal. Hipogram potensial puisi ini berupa representasi sosok sayyidatī beserta variasi leksikalnya, seperti anti (أَنْتِ), unṡāyā (أُنْثاَيَ), dan dumyyah (دُمْيةٌ), sedangkan hipogram aktualnya merujuk pada figur Balqis al-Rawi, istri penyair, serta keterkaitannya dengan puisi lain dalam antologi yang sama, yaitu Hal Ya‘rifu al-Qurrā’?. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa semiotika Riffaterre efektif dalam mengungkap struktur makna laten puisi romantis Qabbani melalui relasi sistematis antara matriks, model, dan hipogram.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan pola pembingkaian yang digunakan oleh Aljazeera.net dan Alaraby.com dalam melaporkan aksi protes di Indonesia pada September 2025. Protes tersebut, yang dipicu oleh persetujuan izin keuangan yang berlebihan bagi anggota parlemen, mengakibatkan enam kematian dan menarik perhatian media internasional. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan model analisis pembingkaian Robert N. Entman yang terdiri dari empat unsur: mendefinisikan masalah, mendiagnosis penyebab, membuat penilaian moral, dan rekomendasi penanganan. Data primer terdiri dari teks berita dari Aljazeera.net dan Alaraby.com, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari literatur yang relevan tentang teori pembingkaian dan media studi internasional. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Alaraby.com membingkai peristiwa tersebut dengan pendekatan kritis terhadap pemerintah, menekan jiwa korban dan tindakan represif oleh pasukan keamanan, dan memberikan ruang yang lebih besar bagi suara para demonstran. Sebaliknya, Aljazeera.net menggunakan pendekatan yang lebih seimbang dengan memberikan konteks ekonomi yang rinci, menyajikan perspektif pemerintah dan penindasan secara proporsional, dan menekankan pentingnya dialog dan solusi damai. Perbedaan kerangka pemberitaan ini mencerminkan orientasi ideologi dan kepentingan editorial masing-masing media dalam membangun realitas peristiwa politik Indonesia bagi khalayak penutur bahasa Arab di seluruh dunia.

Abstract

Community-based economic development programs, such as the Merah Putih Cooperative and Halal Tourism Zone in Jakarta, often rely on technical-instrumental approaches that lack a robust philosophical foundation, thereby imperiling their sustainability and equity. A significant gap persists between the constitutional ideal of cooperatives as the cornerstone of the Pancasila economy and the suboptimal reality of their implementation in delivering inclusive member welfare. This study aims to critically analyze these programs through the theoretical lenses of Richard A. Posner (economic efficiency), John Rawls (procedural justice), and Amartya Sen (capability empowerment) to construct a holistic and multidimensional evaluation framework. The research employs a qualitative method with a conceptual-philosophical study design. Data were collected through an in-depth literature review of the primary and secondary works of the three philosophers, alongside relevant policy documents. Data analysis was conducted using an interpretive-critical approach to synthesize these divergent perspectives. The findings reveal that integrating the three philosophies produces a tripartite evaluation framework composed of: operational efficiency (Posner), distributive and procedural justice (Rawls), and the expansion of members’ substantive freedoms (Sen). This synthesis demonstrates that a program’s success is not measured solely by the growth of cooperative assets, but more profoundly by the equitable distribution of benefits and the enhancement of members’ capabilities to live lives they have reason to value. In conclusion, community-based economic development necessitates a dynamic equilibrium between the instrument of efficiency, the morality of justice, and the ultimate goal of human empowerment.
