Abstract

BUMDes (Village-Owned Enterprises) is an institution that operates in the field of processing village economic resources which aims to improve community businesses which create jobs, develop the economy and increase the village's original income. BUMDes is an institution that operates in the field of managing village economic assets and resources which aims to optimize village assets, improve community businesses, create business opportunities, create jobs, develop the village economy and increase village income. If the management of BUMDes is optimal, then the village will become an independent village and be able to eradicate poverty by improving village welfare. This research aims to find out how effective the distribution of village funds is to the Bumdes, to find out the performance of village funds on the performance of the Bumdes, and to find out the influence of the Effectiveness of Fund Distribution Villages on the Performance of Bumdes for Palm Oil Farming in Tumbuk Village, Pagar Jati District, Central Bengkulu Regency. The method used is a quantitative descriptive method using a Likert scale and simple linear regression analysis. The results of the research show that the effectiveness of village fund distribution on the performance of the oil palm farming BUMDes in Tumbuk Village, Pagar Jati District, Central Bengkulu Regency is 68.8 in the effective category. Meanwhile, the performance of village funds for the oil palm farming BUMDes in Tumbuk village was 69.13 in the high category. The results of statistical tests show that there is an influence on the effectiveness of the distribution of village funds on the performance of the Bumdes for oil palm farming in Tumbuk village.

Abstract

The development of the Napal Jungur tourist attraction has brought socioeconomic impacts to the farming community. The purpose of this research is to determine the social impact of the development of the Napal Jungur tourist attraction on the welfare of the community in Lubuk Sandi Sub-District, Seluma Regency, as well as to understand the economic impact on the development of the Napal Jungur tourist attraction in Seluma Regency. The focus of this research is on the development of the Napal Junggur tourist attraction on the Economic of Farmers' Households in Lubuk Sandi Sub-District, Seluma Regency. This research was conducted in the environment of the Napal Jungur tourist attraction in Lubuk Sandi Sub-District, Seluma Regency. The data collection techniques used in this research include observation, interviews, documentation, and a combination of all three (triangulation). In this study, the analysis method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach that includes analyses based on the research object that has been arranged beforehand to provide more focused results. Based on the research findings, the social impact of the development of the Napal Jungur tourist attraction includes increased social interaction with new people, competition among traders that requires them to interact with each other in running their businesses. The economic impact of the development of the Napal Jungur tourist attraction includes an increase in community income, thereby improving the welfare of the community.

Abstract

The results of a survey by researchers on the price of black pepper in Muara Langkap Village, Bermani Ilir District, Kepahiang Regency, currently (2023) is around IDR 45,000 lower than the previous year (2022) which was around IDR 49,0000. The low price of black pepper has caused losses for farmers. Farmers whose only source of income is pepper still sell all the pepper they have. This research is a qualitative research. The data obtained were analyzed using in-depth data processing methods from observations, interviews, and literature. The results of the study concluded that the average assessment of farmer knowledge was 2.62, which means that farmers agree that the price of black pepper is currently decreasing. Farmer behavior towards the decline in the price of black pepper averaged 26.45, including the high category, which means that farmers prefer to sell black pepper directly. The factors that influence farmers' behavior towards the decline in black pepper prices are knowledge (X1), attitude (X2) and training (X5), while the action factor (X3), facilities (X4) and regulations/policies (X6) do not affect. All factors together have a significant influence, because the significant value of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05.

Abstract

Palm sugar household industry becomes a main income for people at Air Periukan Regency. But for years due to a lot of demands about changing palm water palm sap water into alcoholic drinks. There is a chance for producers to change their business, but they maintain their business to produce palm sugar. The purpose of this research is to find out the decision level of palm sugar producers in sustaining their household industry and to analyze the factors which decide palm sugar household industry to keep sustaining their industry. The method used in this research is quantitative research by using multiple linear regression. The result of this research shows that their decision in sustaining their industry have average score of 37,82 means their decision in sustaining the industry is in high category. Factors which influence the industry are social norm factor (X1), production cost (X3), revenue (X4), marketing (X5), product sustainability (X6) and experiences (X8) while the price stability fact (X2), production process (X7) isn't become decision factor.

Abstract

Lia Jaya home industry produces seven types of crackers: tofu, firecracker sticks, jalin, tempeh, macaroni, jengkol, and fish crackers. Procurement and costs that are not small must be incurred during its business activities. In calculating the cost of production, these costs are very important components to be studied. The purpose of this study was to determine the Cost of Production (HPP) of the Lia Jaya Cracker home industry in Pasar Pedati Village, Pondok Kelapa District, Central Bengkulu Regency and to determine the sources of raw materials used by the company. This study was conducted through a quantitative descriptive approach involving analysis of the cost of production and analysis of raw material procurement. The results of the study showed that the raw materials for making Lia Jaya crackers were purchased from Banyuwangi, East Java, and sent once a month. The amount of raw materials usually ordered is 6,740 kilograms per month. In May 2024, the Lia Jaya cracker household business produced 7 products, with a production cost of IDR 185,001,462/month. The production cost of macaroni is 24,521,562 per month or 28,849 per kilogram, and jengkol crackers are 23,223,362 per month or 23,223,362 per kilogram. The price of firecracker sticks is 22,681,331 per month or 27,327 per kilogram, Jalin crackers are 23,375,536 per month or 27,181 per kilogram, and tempeh crackers are 21,933,987 per month or 27,417 per kilogram.

Abstract

Sawang Lebar Village is one of the villages located in Tanjung Agung Palik District, North Bengkulu, Bengkulu Province. Based on data from the Bengkulu Tengah Regency Agriculture Service in 2023, farmers in Sawang Lebar Village generally grow tomatoes as their daily source of income. The nature of tomatoes is that they rot quickly so that unsold fruit is simply thrown away. The purpose of this community service activity is to form a tomato noodle and healthy stick processing business unit and to increase the skills and knowledge of members of the Sabar Subur and Bina Karya Farmers Group regarding food processing. This tomato noodle and healthy stick processing activity has been carried out for 1 month from preparation to implementation of the activity for the implementation of the activity at the Village Hall in Sawang Lebar Village, Tanjung Agung Palik District, North Bengkulu, Bengkulu Province which was attended by mothers from the Sabar Subur and Bina Karya Farmers Group consisting of 20 (twenty) people. During the activity, there were no obstacles faced because each participant, the day before the activity was carried out, had received material on processing tomato sticks and tomato noodles.

Abstract

Menu roti bakar masih menjadi salah satu menu yang digandrungi anak muda Indonesia. Roti bakar ini menjadi favorit anak muda diakibatkan oleh gaya hidup, dimana banyak anak muda  yang suka pergi bersama sahabat mereka untuk semata- mata hangout ataupun ngobrol santai (Aprilia, 2024). Roti Bakar Bandung Nukasep merupakan salah satu contoh usaha produksi roti tawar sebagai bahan baku utama roti bakar  berdasarkan pengamatan sebelumnya diketahui bahwa rumah produksi Roti Bakar Bandung Nukasep mengalami  grafik pemasaran yang naik turun (tidak stabil).  Sebagai upaya  dalam rangka  memenangkan pasar yang kompetitif,  rumah produksi Roti Bakar Bandung Nukasep wajib mengenal faktor pada lingkungan internal dan eksternal pemasarannya.  Tujuan penelitian ini ialah melakukan analisis mengenai faktor internal dan faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi  sistem pemasaran  pada  rumah produksi Roti Bakar Bandung Nukasep.   Metode yang dilakukan berupa deskriptif kualitatif dengan  metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, serta kuesioner. Adapun data dianalisis menggunakan metode  pendekatan SWOT .  Dari hasil penelitian diketahu bahwa faktor internal yang mempengaruhi peasaran pada Pemasaran Roti Bakar Bandung Nukasep terdiri dari delapan (8) faktor meliputi : Kualitas Roti, Kecukupan produksi roti, Kemasan Roti, Kepemilikan izin & sertifikat, Harga jual yang terjangkau, Variasi Roti, Pelayanan, dan  Promosi.  Sementara pada faktor eksternal terdiri dari lima (5) faktor  meliputi : Tren bisnis digital, Daya beli masyarakat terhadap Roti Bakar, Menjadi tempat magang siswa SMK dan mahasiswa, Hubungan dengan pelanggan, Kemunculan usaha yang serupa.

Abstract

This Thematic Community Service Program (KKN) aims to make use of home yards into chili farms to maintain community food security in Kayu Arang Village, Sukaraja District, Seluma Regency. The utilization of the yard is also designed to increase the consumption of a variety of local food sources with the principle of balanced nutrition. Food crop development can be directed by utilizing the potential that exists in the yard. National food security and independence can be achieved if it starts from the household. Integrated utilization of yard land is one of the technological innovations that can be used to realize food security, especially starting from the household. So that the outputs that want to be produced from this activity are scientific articles in the Journal of Community Service, videos of activities published on GoogleDrive and the Final Report in the form of a Report on the Results of the Implementation of UNIVED Thematic KKN Bengkulu Period 1. The methods used in Thematic KKN are participation, observation, interview, literature study and documentation.

Abstract

Desa Mekar Sari is an area where the majority of the population works as vegetable and coffee farmers. The village community shows low awareness in managing post-harvest waste, especially organic waste. In order to address this issue, a community service program was implemented to process organic waste into liquid fertilizer. This processing involves the utilization of waste such as banana stems, vegetables, and eggshells mixed with EM4 microorganisms and fermented for 1 to 3 weeks. This program is designed based on survey results and socialization with the community, and aims to improve soil fertility and reduce fertilizer costs for local farmers. The results of this organic liquid fertilizer not only have a positive impact on soil fertility and crop yields but also help reduce the use of chemical fertilizers that could potentially harm the environment. Organic liquid fertilizer has proven to provide economic and environmental benefits for the community of Mekar Sari Village, making this program a sustainable solution in addressing waste issues and improving farmers' welfare.

Abstract

This community service activity focuses on packaging design for dairy products in Mekar Sari Village as a strategy to increase the selling value and competitiveness of local products. The main problem faced is the lack of brand identity and attractive packaging, which makes it difficult for products to compete in the market. Methods The service activity uses an observational approach and data triangulation through direct observation, informal interviews, and documentation. The result is the development of a packaging design that reflects the professionalism, freshness, and quality of the product, including the use of logos, modern visual design, and bilingual information. The campaign not only increased brand awareness but also provided training to the community on branding and marketing. Further recommendations include the use of eco-friendly packaging materials and storytelling on the packaging to create an emotional attachment with consumers.
