Abstract

Writing has been one of the four skills that are very important to learn. Writing as a process to get the product is influenced by some elements such as vocabulary, grammar, organization, spelling, and punctuation. In writing English subject is the students have the ability to develop and produce written simple function text in recount text, narrative text, and descriptive text, and report text. Descriptive text is one of the texts that should be mastered by the students of MTsN 1 East Lampung. However, there are many students who ignore to master this skill. This situation results in the students' writing score are still low. Based on the situation, to improve The students' descriptive text, the researcher used Pyramid Discussion in the learning process. Pyramid discussion is one of the methods that is easy and effective to be applied in teaching and learning process in the class. This aim of this research to know whether the use of Pyramid Discussion Method can improve The Students' in writing descriptive in English learning.The result of this research shows that Pyramid Discussion Method had a positive role in improving the descriptive writing ability among The eight graders of MTsN 1 East Lampung. It can be proved by the students' average score from pretest to post-test.

Abstract

Ships used for shipping goods, especially on the MV. Cap San Juan there are things that must be considered, one of which is the reefer container which has strict maintenance and control to know that the reefer container can work optimally. In this case the reefer container has a risk of damage to its components so that the reefer container does not function as it should. Therefore, it is necessary to discuss as a form of effort in handling if damage occurs and unwanted obstacles occur. This study aims to determine the causes and effects of mechanical damage to reefer containers on ships and to find out how to overcome reefer containers that experience mechanical damage on the high seas based on field conditions. The research method used is a qualitative method using data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation regarding the handling of reefer containers when problems occur. Based on the results of observations made by the author regarding the various obstacles that occur in reefer containers during sea practice, there are two causes, namely component damage because it has passed the time limit for use and an electrical short circuit in one of its components which causes the reefer container to not be able to work optimally. This happened because there was no thorough checking and lack of maintenance.

Abstract

Kebanyakan orang dapat dengan mudah menghafal Al-Qur’an akan tetapi sulit untuk menjaganya, maka diperlukan metode-metode khusus untuk memudahkan dalam menghafala dan juga menjaga hafalan tersebut, seperti penerapan metode murajaah dan tasmi’ yang dilaksanakan di SMA Nurul Istiqlal Wonosari Klaten. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) mendeskripsikan implementasi program tahfizh Al-Qur’an melalui metode murajaah dan tasmi’, 2) memaparkan hambatan implementasi program tahfizh melalui metode murajaah dan tasmi’ tingkat, 3) mengetahui solusi dalam mengatasi hambatan implementasi program tahfizh melalui metode murajaah dan tasmi’ di SMA Nurul Istiqlal Wonosari Klaten Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Implementasi hafalan Al-Qur’an di SMA Nurul Istiqlal Wonosari Klaten menggunakan dua metode yaitu metode murajaah mandiri dan metode murajaah bersama ustadz serta metode tasmi’ kepada musyrif tahfizh atau ustadz. 2) Hambatan dalam implementasi program tahfizh Al-Qur’an di SMA Nurul Istiqlal Wonosari Klaten adalah sumber daya pengajar yang kurang profesional dan semangat siswa untuk menghafal masing kurang. 3) Solusi untuk menghadapi hambatan implementasi program tahfizh Al-Qur’an di SMA Nurul Istiqlal Wonosari Klaten adalah dengan mencari sumber daya pengajar yang profesional dan memberi motivasi kepada siswa dan dilakukan pengawasan pelaksanaan program tahfizh.

Abstract

NUR APRILIANI PUJIASTUTI, Skripsi, Upaya Guru Pendidikan Agam Islam dalam Menangani Kenakalan Peserta Didik di SMP N 22 Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2023-2024. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Bagaimana upaya yang dilakukan guru PAI dalam menangani kenakalan peserta didik. 2) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam menangani kenakalan peserta didik di SMP N 22 Surakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Peneliti mengambil lokasi penelitian di SMP N 22 Surakarta yang beralamatkan di Jl. Irawan, Makam Bergola, Serengan, Surakarta, Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan November 2022 – Januari 2023. Subjeknya adalah guru PAI. Sedangkan informan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru PAI, guru non PAI, dan peserta didik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sedangkan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik, yaitu menguji kredibilitas data yang dilakukan saat penelitian dengan cara mengecek data kepada sumber yang sama dengan teknik yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Upaya guru PAI dalam menangani perilaku kenakalan siswa yaitu memberikan nasihat, upaya korektif, seperti: mengontrol perilaku siswa, mengecek kondisi siswa, komunikasi dengan orang tua, dan melakukan pendekatan secara individu. Bentuk-bentuk kenakalan seperti : merokok, berkelahi, ramai dalam kelas, bolos, berkata kotor. 2) Faktor pendukung dalam menangani kenakalan peserta didik adalah adanya penanaman ajaran agama islam, serta kebijakan berpakaian sopan untuk guru, staf karyawan, dan peserta didik. Faktor penghambat yang dialami guru PAI dalam menangani perilaku kenakalan peserta didik adalah kurangnya dukungan, kerja sama dan perhatian orang tua terhadap perilaku siswa. Abstract

Jahe merupakan tanaman rempah-rempah yang memiliki banyak manfaat. Jahe dapat konsumsi dalam keadaan segar, dikeringkan, dijadikan serbuk, maupun sebagai minyak atsiri. Dalam bentuk serbuk, ekstrak jahe dapat dikonsumsi bersama dengan gula atau rempah-rempah lain dalam bentuk jahe instan. KWT Sekar Arum merupakan salah satu KWT yang telah memproduksi jahe instan sejak tahun 2021. Namun demikian, produksi dan pemasaran jahe instan masih mengalami kendala. Dari sisi produksi, KWT Sekar Arum masih menggunakan alat-alat produksi secara swadaya milik anggota. Dari sisi pemasaran, saat ini pemasaran jahe instan dilakukan melalui word of mouth dan whatsapp. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tim pengabdian RG Esdal UNS melakukan pengadaan alat produksi jahe instan, inovasi kemasan, dan pemasaran Online. Tim pengabdian mewujudkan hibah peralatan produksi jahe instan yang meliputi wajan, blender, kompor, dan timbangan digital. Lebih lanjut, kegiatan pengabdian juga telah menghasilkan inovasi kemasan produk jahe instan hingga adanya perluasan pemasaran online melalui marketplace Shopee. Kedepan diharapkan produk jahe instan KWT Sekar Arum dapat melakukan kontinyuitas produksi sehingga produk jahe instan dapat bersaing dengan merk lain dan berdampak pada peningkatan perekonomian anggota KWT.

Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) Implementation of moral education in shaping the character of 6th grade students of SD Negeri 3 Masaran, 2) Supporting and inhibiting factors faced in shaping the morals of 6th grade students of SD Negeri 3 Masaran, 3) Solutions in overcoming obstacles that occur in shaping the morals of 6th grade students of SD Negeri 3 Masaran. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of the study can be concluded that 1) The role of moral education in shaping the character of 6th grade students of SD Negeri 3 Masaran is done by exemplary, habituation, advice and punishment, and using inspirational stories. 2) Supporting factors in the formation of student character are competent teachers, playmates, a supportive environment, adequate facilities and infrastructure, while the inhibiting factor is still low student awareness. 3) The solution in overcoming the obstacles that occur is to improve their attitude first and be taught about good attitudes so that they are practiced in everyday life.

Abstract

This literacy study investigates and analyzes the role of family education in adolescent character development. The aim of this research is to understand the contribution of home education to the development of adolescent character and values. Research methods include an in-depth literature review covering psychological theories of adolescent development and the concept of family education. The results of this study show that family education has a significant influence on adolescent personality development. Through daily interactions, the transmission of values, and the formation of family norms, adolescents internalize and develop their own identity. Factors such as family communication, parental involvement, and the formation of emotional bonds play an important role in shaping the psychological well-being of adolescents. Furthermore, this research emphasizes the importance of harmony between the values taught at home and the values applied in society. This balance plays an important role in helping teenagers overcome social pressures and develop strong personalities. These findings in practice mean the need to strengthen the role of family education through parent support programs and the development of family communication skills. This research contributes to the understanding of the important role of home education in adolescent personality development. Therefore, efforts to improve and strengthen education at home are expected to make a positive contribution to the development of the younger generation as a whole, preparing them to face life's challenges with confidence and integrity.

Abstract

UKM Bandeng Presto Bu Rita adalah UKM bidang makanan khususnya olahan bandeng. UKM Bandeng Presto Bu Rita berada di Kabupaten Boyolali. Persaingan yang ketat di bidang produk makanan mengharuskan UKM Bandeng Presto Bu Rita untuk berinovasi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan membantu UKM mitra dalam mengatasi masalah serta memberikan solusi atas permasalahan usahanya. Proses produksi stik bandeng masih manual sehingga tidak efisien, label kode produksi masih menggunakan kode manual, dan pemasaran online masih sederhana. Metode pengabdian yang dilakungan oleh Tim Pengabdian adalah introduksi planetary mixer untuk membuat stik bandeng, introduksi mesin print kode produksi langsung pada kemasan, dan pendampingan pemasaran online. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan manajemen bisnis pengelola UKM mitra, perbaikan teknologi produksi usaha olahan bandeng, serta penerapan teknologi informasi dalam memasarkan hasil produksinya.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how to optimize ship maneuvers when traversing the Barito River's small shipping channel in bad weather.  Researchers have observed that when a ship turns through a bend in the narrow Barito River channel, particularly in inclement weather, there are frequently hazards or undesirable things that occur. This is because the duty chief on board failed to pay attention to the direction and strength of the current, which caused the ship's stern to be carried away by the current, closing the channel. This study's qualitative descriptive methodology is based on facts experienced by the researchers on board and generates data directly from the research location.  Direct interviews with research participants, literature and documentation studies, and observation are the methods used in this instance to get data about the object.  According to the findings of this study, ship movements during inclement weather while traversing the Barito River's tight channel at SPB. LAIS. Manoeuvring errors resulting from the duty chief's carelessness are the primary reason of the ship's difficulties.  In order to ensure that the voyage proceeds safely, effectively, and efficiently, the researcher recommends that the duty chief be more cautious while on duty and learn the proper technique for crossing the Barito River to prevent navigation dangers.

Abstract

In the world of shipping, passage plans play an important role in improving the efficiency and safety of ship operations when sailing, so that narrow shipping channels are very useful because there are many dangerous areas of navigation in these areas. Ship incidents are often caused by external factors such as weather and track conditions, as well as human error in the operation of the ship. The passage plan is the most common strategy that aims to direct ships from one location to another safely, quickly, and efficiently. This study, entitled "Application of Passage Plan to Avoid Stranded Ships on the Barito River: A Case Study on KM. Armada Segara," uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results of the study show that the implementation of a passage plan can reduce the risk of hazards during the voyage, although challenges such as equipment damage and weather uncertainty remain. So that it can be concluded in this study, before the start of the voyage, it is good to plan a good voyage and implement the passage plan according to the steps that have been set so that a safe voyage to the destination is created.
