Abstract

Banten 1 Suralaya Power Plant is a Coal-Fired Steam Power Plant. The issue at hand is the high downtime of the coal pulverizer system, which experienced 195 failures across the seven coal pulverizer systems in 2023, resulting in a total downtime of 1,020.3 hours. This research focuses on Coal Pulverizer System C, which had the highest downtime, averaging 274 hours in 2023. The aim is to identify the factors causing the failures and to propose a maintenance scheduling plan. This research employs the Reliability Centered Maintenance method, which is a logical engineering process to determine maintenance tasks that will ensure a reliability system design under specific operating conditions in a particular operational environment using a downtime analysis approach. The proposed maintenance scheduling is based on the calculations of Mean Time Between Failure and Mean Time To Repair. Based on the downtime analysis, it is known that the performance of the Coal Pulverizer C system is still optimal with an average availability of 94%. A failure mode of the Coal Feeder component was identified with an RPN of 320 as the dominant cause of the damage. Additionally, from the Function Block Diagram and Logic Tree Analysis, 2 failure modes were found in category B (Outage Problem) and 5 failure modes in category C. (Economic Problem). With the Reliability Centered Maintenance method based on the calculations of Mean Time Between Failure and Mean Time To Repair, a maintenance schedule is proposed for the components of the Coal Pulverizer System C, namely: Pulverizer Body every 115 days, Pulverizer Motor every 76 days, Lube Oil System every 15 days, Coal Feeder every 25 days, Coal Feeder Motor every 57 days, Control Instrument & Indicator System for Pulverizer every 32 days, and Control Instrument & Indicator for Coal Feeder every 46 days.

Abstract

This research explores the effectiveness of religious singing methods in teaching the Pillars of Faith and the Pillars of Islam to young children at MDTA Al-Jauharotunnaqqiyyah, Kedung Baya. Character education at an early age is very important to form a strong personality, and instilling Islamic values from an early age plays a significant role in this process. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving direct observation and interviews with students to collect data about their understanding of religious teachings and their impact on behavior and character. The research results show that the religious singing method is effective in increasing children's understanding of the Pillars of Faith and the Pillars of Islam, as well as increasing their involvement in learning. Positive responses from parents and teachers confirm that this method makes religious teachings more interesting and applicable. However, challenges such as differences in children's levels of understanding, limited resources, and integration with the curriculum need to be overcome to maximize the effectiveness of this method. This research concludes that the religious singing method is an innovative approach that can be widely applied to support character education, with continuous evaluation and adjustment as the key to success.

Abstract

One part of the tridharma of higher education is community service. One example of community service activities is Student Work Lectures or KKM. In KKM activities, there are several work programs that must be carried out and divided into each sector. Like the religious sector, in realizing the work program in the religious sector, KKM Group 72 UNIBA held an open donation activity for compensation for orphans at Link. Sumur Jaya RT/RW 04/02 Tamansari Village. After the donations were collected, they were then handed over to the local Risma administrators to be given to them. to orphans.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the biomechanics of the risk level of work posture in welding operators using RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment). The type of research was conducted quantitatively with 3 operators consisting of 2 welding operators and 1 welding helper operator. Welding operators work every day and in making orders it takes approximately 20 days to one month which is done manually. The stages in this study: collection of demographic data, data analysis using the Nordic Body Map (NBM) and photos of operator activities. Based on data processing and analysis in this study, it was concluded that: Operator 1 (Sulfian) obtained a RULA score of 5, Operator 2 (Saeroji) and Operator 3 (Lucky) obtained a RULA score of 4. Thus, it is necessary to improve the posture of operators for each welding work activity and propose a work system with an ergonomic workbench to reduce muscle fatigue.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Sektor Dua Cafe & Resto by analyzing effective strategies to boost customer visits through improvements in the branding system at Sektor Dua Cafe & Resto. The methods used included observation and quantitative research by distributing questionnaires to 106 customers. Based on the research conducted, the first results obtained include data on customer satisfaction recap based on their experiences at Sektor Dua Cafe & Resto, social media performance results, a recap of best-selling menu items and the number of items sold in December 2024, event poster design results, and finally, several changes to seating areas and the addition of new features at Sektor Dua Cafe & Resto, aimed at enhancing comfort and increasing the number of visitors.

Abstract

CV. Tempe Suryadi Sentosa is a company engaged in the manufacture of tempeh, a traditional food of Tangerang, which is spread across almost all areas of Tangerang, namely Tangerang City, Tangerang Regency, South Tangerang City, and parts of Serang. Therefore, the company's Operational Research at CV. Tempe Suryadi Sentosa must be carried out smoothly, and its layout must not be frequently obstructed. Various facilities and spaces must be in accordance with the various activities carried out to ensure that the process runs smoothly and worker comfort is maintained. In this study, the identification of relationships between facilities was carried out using the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC). Each facility is categorized into work stations. After determining the relationships between facilities, the next step is to design the facility layout using the BLOCPLAN method, which produces five alternative proposed facility layouts. The results of the facility layout design research using the BLOCPLAN method Each alternative facility layout has an Adjacency Score, R-Score, and Rel-dist Score which will be used as criteria for selecting the best alternative facility layout. And the latest layout is 13 with a layout score of 0.5

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara rawan bencana geologis, salah satunya letusan gunung berapi, yang menuntut adanya edukasi kebencanaan sejak usia dini. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan konsep reaksi kimia sederhana melalui eksperimen simulasi gunung meletus sebagai bagian dari pendidikan sains kontekstual bagi siswa sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif-edukatif melalui eksperimen langsung di dua sekolah dasar di Kota Serang, dengan melibatkan 46 siswa dari kelas I dan IV. Eksperimen memanfaatkan bahan aman seperti soda kue, sabun, cuka, dan pewarna makanan yang dirancang dalam bentuk miniatur gunung meletus. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam antusiasme, partisipasi aktif, dan pemahaman konseptual siswa terhadap fenomena alam. Kegiatan ini juga mendorong keterampilan motorik halus, kemampuan observasi, serta komunikasi ilmiah dasar. Implementasi model Project Based Learning (PjBL) melalui eksperimen ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi sains dan membentuk sikap ilmiah siswa. Pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam menciptakan ekosistem pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, partisipatif, dan kontekstual untuk pendidikan dasar.

Abstract

PT Taco Anugrah Corporindo merupakan produsen HPL di Indonesia, dalam menjalankan proses produksi dibantu dengan dua mesin genset dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pasokan listrik jika terjadi pemadaman listrik oleh PLN, padamnya listrik mendadak dapat menyebabkan proses produksi tidak berjalan optimal, dan akan menyebabkan kerugian bagi perusahaan. Sehingga perlu mengetahui keefektifan sistem perawatan mesin genset, dan penjadwalan ulang perawatan. RCM merupakan suatu pendekatan perawatan dengan mengkombinasi praktik dan strategi. FMEA bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dengan memperhitungkan beberapa faktor kegagalan dari komponen sistem dan menganalisis dampak terhadap keandalan. MVSM adalah alat untuk memvisualisasikan sistem yang menampilkan aliran material dan data. Hasil pengolahan data didapat nilai RPN terbesar pada Filter oli yaitu nilai RPN 216. Proses perawatan mesin genset pada delay 2 dan delay 3 termasuk kegiatan yang tidak memberikan nilai tambah. Nilai efisiensi perawatan filter oli berdasarkan perhitungan meningkat dari 45,80% menjadi 57,69%, dan Belting kipas dimana sebelumnya 33,59% menjadi 47,36% dan komponen lainnya.

Abstract

Pengendalian mutu merupakan bagian penting dalam menjaga kepuasan pelanggan karena ketidaksesuaian produk dapat mengakibatkan keterlambatan pengiriman, peningkatan biaya dan menurunnya citra perusahaan di mata pelanggan. Perusahaan dapat menggunakan metode six sigma dengan merumuskan DMAIC dan tools yang relevan untuk melakukan perbaikan. Seperti yang terjadi pada PT. DKH penyedia produk bejana tekan, salah satu proses yang kritis adalah pengelasan, yang mengalami banyak masalah terkait hasil pengelasan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu perusahaan melakukan perbaikan mutu dengan menerapkan six sigma. Berdasarkan data, ketidaksesuaian/cacat yang terjadi adalah peleburan yang tidak sempurna, yang disebabkan oleh beberapa hal, antara lain juru las kurang kompeten, juru las lelah karena bekerja, perawatan pencegahan yang kurang baik, juru las kurang memperhatikan mutu. Perusahaan telah menerapkan six sigma, didapatkan perbandingan nilai sigma sebelum dan sesudah perbaikan sebesar 3,15 dibandingkan dengan sesudahnya yaitu 3,79 yang berarti menurunkan tingkat cacat dari sebelumnya 9,66% turun menjadi 3,26%.

Abstract

Indonesia as a developing country has become a country with a systematic infrastructure focus, with constant infrastructure growth making Indonesia a development country. Infrastructure, especially in the context of building or construction, has a linear relationship with the condition of construction workers, where construction workers are one of the main driving forces in the sustainability of development in Indonesia. However, the central role of this worker is not always followed by the worker's obedience to the applicable regulations in this case K3 construction. Work accidents in the construction sector increase every year, recorded as many as 114,148 throughout 2018 although it decreased to 77,295 cases in 2019, not diminishing the indication that construction workers should receive special treatment to reduce the number of work accidents. The development of technology is the basis for thinking for innovation in making platforms to cover almost every aspect of life, so the implementation of technology in an effort to provide special education to construction workers is expected to be optimal. The design of this concept uses participatory design and usability testing, to involve workers and stakeholders directly in the design process. The output of this research is an application concept design along with the percentage of effectiveness and efficiency that has gone through a pilot test process to end users, in this case construction workers and other stakeholders
