Abstract

Mr. Wash laundry is one of the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) located in Yogyakarta. This business was founded in 2015 with 2 workers. In work operations, many involve physical activities that can cause fatigue and musculoskeletal complaints, causing decreased productivity and miscommunication to consumers. Therefore, this research was conducted to improve the work system to minimize these impacts. The method in this study uses an ergonomics participator. This method involves a participatory team, namely ergonomists, owners, and workers. The result of this research is the design of an ironing table and chair using the anthropometric specifications of workers which can reduce fatigue and musculoskeletal complaints.

Abstract

PT. Buana Krisna Mulya merupakaan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pembuatan palet kayu. Operator produksi kayu palet kerap mengalami kecelakaan kerja tekanan fisik yang di akibatkan oleh kelelahan kerja dengan sistem kerja yang berulang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kelelahan kerja operator produksi kayu palet guna mengetahui tingkat kelelahan kerja berdasarkan hasil Cardiovascular Load (CVL) dan Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif . Data digunakan melalui pengukuran denyut nadi istirahat, denyut nadi kerja, dan kuisioner Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC) dengan 1-4 skala likert. Jumlah responden berjumlah 17 operator dari karyawan bagian produksi. Alat yang di gunakan untuk mengukur berupa stopwatch dan kuisioner IFRC secara subjektif. Hasil analisis tingkat kelelahan kerja berdasarkan Caridiovascular Load operator menunjukkan bahwa dari 17 responden, sebanyak 11 orang (64,71%) termasuk dalam kategori kelelahan ringan, sedangkan 6 operator (35,29%) termasuk dalam kategori sedang yang memerlukan tindakan perbaikan. Sedangkan hasil kuisioner IFRC memperkuat temuan tersebut, di mana 11 responden (64,71%) berada pada kategori kelelahan rendah dan 6 responden (35,29%) pada kategori kelelahan sedang.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the inventory control of Buffered Peptone Water (BPW) testing media in a food industry laboratory. The company currently applies a conventional method in managing its inventory, which often leads to inefficiencies in both ordering and holding costs. Two quantitative approaches, namely Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Min-Max, are compared with the company's existing method to determine the most efficient alternative. Data utilized in this study consist of annual demand, ordering cost, holding cost, and lead time. The EOQ method provides an optimal order quantity of 11 units, with a total inventory cost of Rp2.506.750, while the Min-Max method recommends maintaining inventory levels between 2 units. Compared to the company’s current approach, EOQ is proven to minimize total cost and achieve cost savings of approximately 51%. The results indicate that EOQ is more effective and can be implemented as a suitable inventory control method for laboratory operations.

Abstract

The significant development of the manufacturing industry has led to increasingly complex problems that can occur. Inappropriate facility layout can affect excessive physical activity, so that the activities carried out are not optimal. Ergonomic facility layout design directs the arrangement of physical facilities (machines and equipment) to obtain the fastest production process by minimizing physical activity. The precast concrete manufacturing industry in Cilegon City has an area of ​​623.65 m2, which consists of worker facilities, physical facilities (machines and equipment) and structural position facilities. Environmental conditions that are less flexible and poor placement between facilities (far from the reach of their duties) greatly affect workers' physical activity. This, intends to propose a facility layout design with an ergonomic approach using several CORELAP (Computerized Relation Layout Planning) and ARC (Activity Relation Chart) methods. Abstract

The lack of knowledge of parents of students about the importance of education for the basis of a decent job and income in the future is the main thing in holding free tutoring at Tamansari Village, Pulomerak District, Cilegon City - Banten. This underlies the Lecturers and Students of the Community Work Lecture (KKM) at Bina Bangsa University, especially Group 72, to help efforts to increase learning motivation at the Elementary School (SD) level to participate in this activity enthusiastically. The method of implementing activities carried out using participatory, where participatory is a technique for managing the relationship of involvement of individuals in planning a number of activities for common goals and solutions. Several stages help increase learning motivation in the implementation of community service: (1) warming up before delivering material, namely providing learning motivation with inspirational stories, (2) presentation of material, (3) Questions and Answers, (4) Games and (5) giving gifts and praise . The results of the tutoring activities for each session are divided into 2 groups, adjusted to the grade level of each student (children). Group 1 consists of classes 1 to 3, while group 2 consists of classes 2 to 6. Prizes are given in the form of grades for group 1 with an average score of 85 and group 2 with an average score of 80. This shows that the material presented can be accepted by students

Abstract

Daily operations of coffee shop MSMEs generate a considerable amount of coffee grounds waste, which is generally discarded without further utilization. However, coffee grounds still possess physical characteristics and natural compounds that allow them to be processed into value-added products, such as natural scrub materials. This study aims to design a natural scrub soap product utilizing coffee grounds waste from “Nostalgia0254” Coffee Shop MSME. The Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method was applied to translate customer needs into technical product specifications through the House of Quality (HoQ). The results indicate that natural ingredient composition, soap pH level, and coffee grounds concentration are the main technical priorities. This product design is expected to support waste reduction initiatives and enhance the sustainable economic value of MSMEs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengukur tingkat kualitas produk berdasarkan persepsi konsumen (pelaku usaha aktif) di Kota Serang, dan (2) Mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kualitas produk tersebut. Sampel diambil secara purposive sampling dengan kriteria (a). Berstatus sebagai pelaku usaha aktif (memiliki UMKM) di Kota Serang. (b). Diasumsikan memiliki pengetahuan dan pengalaman sebagai konsumen maupun pengusaha yang dapat menilai produk saingan dengan 20 orang responden. Berfokus pada tujuh produk kuliner yang dikembangkan oleh mahasiswa di kawasan Pusat Pemerintahan Provinsi Banten (KP3B), yaitu: (1) kebab Samawa, (2) es kopi latte gula aren, (3) risol ayam suwir, (4) sosis dan bakso bakar, (5) lumpia crispy, (6) makaroni, dan (7) kue putu ayu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan populasi sekaligus sampel sebanyak 20 pelaku usaha aktif di Kota Serang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert 1–5 yang mencakup dimensi kualitas produk, meliputi kinerja, keandalan, daya tahan, kesesuaian dengan spesifikasi, dan estetika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa UMKM mahasiswa berhasil menciptakan produk dengan nilai desain dan inovasi yang tinggi, yang menjadi unique selling point mereka. Hal ini selaras dengan semangat kewirausahaan kampus yang mendorong kreativitas. Namun, temuan utama yang perlu menjadi perhatian adalah rendahnya skor keandalan dan konsistensi dengan nilai rata-rata 3.4 yang disebabkan oleh keterbatasan modal, pengalaman, serta belum adanya sistem manajemen mutu. upaya peningkatan kualitas produk perlu difokuskan pada pelatihan produksi, kontrol kualitas, serta pendampingan kewirausahaan berkelanjutan

Abstract

Masjid merupakan salah satu masjid yang terletak di desa cibodas kecamatan tanara kabupaten serang provinsi banten. Yang tidak hanya berperan sebagai tempat untuk melaksanakan ibadah, tetapi juga menjadi wadah bagi masyarakat untuk berinteraksi. Berbagai aktivitas dapat diselenggarakan di dalam masjid, mulai dari ibadah rutin seperti shalat lima waktu, shalat jum’at, hingga kegiatan pendidikan seperti pengajian atau majelis ta’lim. Namun, peran masjid sering kali tidak berjalan secara maksimal karena keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana yang tersedia. Oleh sebab itu, kegiatan pengabdian ini difokuskan pada penyediaan fasilitas di masjid, yang mencakup pengadaan mukena dan sajadah.

Abstract

Penataan tata letak fasilitas produksi yang efisien sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kelancaran proses dan produktivitas industri manufaktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang tata letak produksi lem kuning dengan metode Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) dan Total Closeness Rating (TCR). ARC digunakan untuk menganalisis hubungan kedekatan antar aktivitas produksi, sedangkan TCR mengkuantifikasi nilai hubungan tersebut guna memperoleh tata letak yang lebih objektif dan efisien. Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung dan analisis terhadap urutan proses, area kerja, serta pengelompokan fasilitas. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa area produksi utama seperti Area Premix, Reaktor, dan Filling memiliki keterkaitan tinggi dan perlu diletakkan berdekatan. Tata letak usulan yang berbasis ARC dan TCR mampu meminimalkan jarak perpindahan, meningkatkan efisiensi aliran proses, serta mendukung peningkatan produktivitas secara keseluruhan.
