Abstract

Ikan gurami (Osphronemus gouramy, Lac) merupakan salah satu komoditas perikanan yang penting karena memiliki nilai ekonomis yang tinggi, rasa daging yang lezat dan kandungan gizi yang tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui  kepadatan tebar terbaik dan laju makan pada pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup larva gurami raksasa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret-Mei 2022, di Laboratorium Pembenihan dan Pembibitan Ikan, Fakultas Perikanan dan Kelautan Universitas Riau. Metode penelitian ini merupakan percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan dua faktor dan tiga replikasi. Faktor pertama adalah padat tebar larva dengan masing-masing tiga perlakuan, (2 ekor/L, 4 ekor/L, dan 6 ekor/L). Faktor kedua adalah jumlah pakan, yaitu 40% dan 60%. Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu Pt2Jp40%, Pt2Jp60%, Pt4Jp40%, Pt4Jp60%, Pt6Jp40%, Pt6Jp60%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepadatan tebar dan jumlah pakan memberikan pengaruh (P<0,05) terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup larva gurami. Perlakuan terbaik adalah 2 ekor/L dan tingkat pakan 60% (Pt2Jp60%) dengan berat absolut 0,14 g, panjang absolut 2,53 cm, LPS 5,47%, efisiensi pakan 8,56%, dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup 93,10%. Parameter kualitas air selama penelitian adalah suhu 26,3-28,1°C, pH 6,3-7,2, dan oksigen terlarut 3,1-5,3 mg/L

Abstract

The purpose of the community service activities carried out is to provide knowledge about the application of technology using natural plants to eliminate the adhesion of Asian Redtail Catfish eggs to the Sawah Mandiri Fisheries Group, Sawah Village, North Kampar District, Kampar Regency. The methods used in this community service activity is the lecture, discussion and practice/demonstration in the field. The lecture method was carried out in the meeting room of the head of the Sawah Mandiri Fisheries Group, Sawah Village, North Kampar District, Kampar Regency by providing material on the technology of using natural plants. The practical method was carried out by direct demonstration in the field about all the material that had been given previously. The results of the evaluation of changes in knowledge carried out on 15 participants in the activity shown that 11 people (73.33%) were able to absorb the material provided with a very good predicate, 3 people (20%) were able to absorb the material provided with a good predicate, 1 person (6.67%) was able to absorb the material with a sufficient predicate while those who obtained a very poor predicate and a poor predicate were not found. The results of the skills evaluation show that members of the Sawah Mandiri Fisheries Group have been able to practice directly the activities that have been given in the field about the technology. While the results of the impact evaluation show that members of the Sawah Mandiri Fisheries Group enthusiastic started to used this technology in fish hatcheries.

Abstract

This research was conducted on April - May 2021, at Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory of Fishery and Marine Science Faculty of Riau University. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of Kirinyuh leaf (Euphatorium odoratum) solvent and the optimal dose on hatching rate of tambaqui larvae (Colossoma macropomum). The method used was a Completely Randomized Design Factorial with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The dose of kirinyuh leaf solvent used was P0 (0 mg/L) P1 (100 mg/L) P2 (120 mg/L) and P3 (140 mg/L). rGH with 3 levels; 0 mg/L (D0), 1.5 mg/L (D1,5) and 2.5 mg/L (D2,5). The immersion duration of kirinyuh leaf solvent is 20 minutes with 100 eggs for the density. The results showed that the use of different doses of kirinyuh leaf solvent gave very real effect to fertilization rate with highiest point (87,33%) following with hatching rate (88,00%), and survival rate (83,66%).

This study aims to determine the effect of feeding and the number of different feeds on the growth and survival of Nilem (Osteochillus hasselti) larvae. The method used was a completely randomized factorial design with 9 treatments and 3 replications. F2P25 (Feed Frequency 2 x daily + Total Feed 25% of body weight), F4P25 (Feed Frequency 4 x daily + Total Feed 25% of body weight), F6P25 (Feed Frequency 6 x daily + Total Feed 25% of body weight), F2P50 (Feed Frequency 2 x daily + Total Feed 50% of body weight), F4P50 (Feed Frequency 4 x daily + Total Feed 50% of body weight), F6P50 (Feed Frequency 6 x daily + Total Feed 50% of body weight), F2P75 (Feed Frequency 2 x daily + Total Feed 75% of body weight), F4P75 (Feed Frequency 4 x daily + Total Feed 75% of body weight), F6P75 (Feed Frequency 6 x daily + Total Feed 75% of body weight ). The results showed that different feeds and feeds had a very significant effect on growth with absolute length (3.14 cm), absolute weight (2.70 g), specific growth rate (14.56), and survival rate (87, 77%).

Abstract

Ikan Jelawat adalah ikan konsumsi yang mempunyai nilai ekonomis tinggi yang banyak digemari Masyarakat, karena itu perlu dilakukan rekayasa budidaya yang dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan ikan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama waktu perendaman tiroksin yang terbaik untuk memacu pertumbuhan dan kelulushidupan larva jelawat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Pembenihan dan Pemuliaan Ikan, Fakultas Perikanan dan Kelautan, Universitas Riau pada bulan Maret-April 2023 selama 40 hari. Ikan uji yang digunakan yaitu larva jelawat berumur 5 hari yang sudah habis kuning telur sebanyak 360 ekor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL), terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan yaitu P0 (tidak direndam hormon tiroksin), P18 (direndam hormon tiroksin selama 18 jam), P24 (24 jam), P30 (30 jam). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hormon tiroksin mampu memberikan pengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dam kelulushidupan larva ikan jelawat. Hasil uji lanjut dari perendaman hormon tiroksin terbaik terdapat pada P24 dengan pertumbuhan panjang mutlak sebesar 3,96±0,03cm, pertumbuhan bobot mutlak sebesar 0,88±0,00g, laju pertumbuhan spesifik sebesar 12,69±0,01% per hari, dan kelulushidupan 93,33±0,84%. Pemeliharaan larva ikan jelawat sebaiknya dilakukan dengan perendaman hormon tiroksin dengan konsentrasi 0,1 mg/L selama 24 jam.

Abstract

Ikan dokun atau kapiu (Barbodes lateristriga) merupakan ikan yang berpotensial untuk dikembangkan sebagai ikan hias. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyuntikan Hcg dan ovaprim (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) dengan dosis yang berbeda dan mengetahui dosis yang tepat untuk menghasilkan kualitas telur yang unggul. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan perlakuan penyuntikan dosis hcg dan ovaprim yang berbeda terhadap ikan uji dengan 3 kali ulangan sehingga diperoleh 12 unit percobaan. Perlakuan penyuntikan dengan PO (ovaprim 0,6 ml/kg), P1 : (hCG dosis 350 IU/kg), P2 (450 IU/kg), P3 (hCG 550 IU/kg). Ikan uji yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah induk ikan dokun yang berasal dari sungai Kampar dengan bobot berkisar antara 13 – 27g dipelihara diakuarium berukuran 60 x 40 x 40 cm sebanyak 2 unit yang diberi pakan cacing tanah. Penyuntikan dilakukan dua kali dengan cara intra-musculer dengan selang waktu 6 jam. Hasil penelitian didapat bahwa penyuntikan hcg dan ovaprim dengan dosis yang berbeda tertinggi yaitu pada P2 yang menghasilkan waktu laten 8 jam 6 menit, jumlah telur hasil striping rata-rata sebesar 8 butir/ gram induk, Derajat Pembuahan 55,61%, Nilai Indeks Ovisomatik (IOS) sebesar 1.62%, Derajat Penetasan 25.00%, dan Kelulushidupan larva 29,07%

Abstract

Natural feed is an initial feed that has a complete nutritional content and is closer to the biological needs of fish larvae, one of which is Tubifex sp. Tubifex sp is a type of natural feed that is very important in freshwater aquaculture activities, especially for catfish hatcheries. Tubifex sp. has a fairly high nutritional content, 57% protein, 13.3% fat, 2.04% crude fiber, 3.6% ash content and 87.7% water. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of fermentor dosing on tofu dregs as a Tubifex sp. culture medium on population and biomass growth rates. This research was conducted in August - October 2023 located in the laboratory of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Riau University. The research method used was an experimental method using a completely randomized design (CRD), consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications. The fermentor dose used was in the treatment P0 (0.0 ml), P1 (0.5 ml), P2 (1.0 ml), P3 (1.5 ml). The results of this study indicated that the dose of fermentor on tofu dregs as a culture medium for Tubifex sp. had a significant effect (P<0.05) on population and biomass. The highest population and biomass were found in treatment P2, with a population of 13519 ind and a biomass of 49.52 grams which were reared for 56 days. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that giving fermenter doses to tofu dregs as a Tubifex sp. culture medium can increase population and biomass.
