Abstract

This study aims to systematically review the future of economic education and identify the trends and implications for policy and practice. This study adopted bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer software. The findings indicate that there has been a substantial movement over the last two decades regarding the theme of economic education. The top three countries—United States, Germany, and Indonesia contribute to this theme, whilst Universitas Negeri Malang, the University of Nebraska, and the University of Richmond are the three highest organizations that contributed to this scope during this period. The visualization from VOSviewer illustrates that the theme of economic education is linked with various dimensions. The frequency occurrence of this theme is often associated with financial literacy, pedagogy, pluralism, higher education, active learning, financial education, home economics education, teaching economics, economic literacy, heterodox economics, and entrepreneurship. The findings provide implications for concerning studies in this theme with a focus in shaping graduate students.

For visualization, this study involved VOSviewer software to determine the linkage of variables. The findings indicate that entrepreneurial intuition is often linked with several factors: sustainability, technology usage, and cognitive process. The findings also conclude that there is a robust relationship between entrepreneurial intuition and entrepreneurial intention. This paper also highlights the trend of entrepreneurial ideas for student education and the key role of entrepreneurial learning in enhancing entrepreneurial intuition. Vocational education in Indonesia is emphasized not only to develop competent workers but also to foster innovative and independent entrepreneurs, aligning with government policies to create more young entrepreneurs amid global competition and evolving job market demands. This study aims to investigating the influence between economic education and entrepreneurial competence (ECOMP), with entrepreneurial knowledge (EK) as a mediator. This study employs a quantitative approach, using surveys conducted at vocational high schools in Jakarta. A sample of 247 students was collected through convenience sampling, and data was processed using structural equation modeling (SEM) with Amos 25. The study found that economics education (EC) significantly enhances EK and competence among vocational high school students, both directly and indirectly. By developing a strong understanding of economic and business concepts, students are better equipped to succeed in the business activities. The findings emphasize the importance of improving EC with a focus on practical applications to help students acquire the essential skills required to achieve success as entrepreneurs.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically analyze the current literature on the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in business education, especially in the context of entrepreneurship. Through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to scientific articles published between 2022 and 2025 from various academic databases such as Elsevier, Emerald, and Google Scholar, this study identifies and synthesizes ten key roles of AI in transforming business education. These roles include improving the ability to identify business opportunities, facilitating the development of innovative ideas, supporting strategic business planning, personalizing learning experiences, providing personalized guidance and mentoring, enabling realistic business simulations, accelerating the validation of business ideas, supporting the development of business incubators, increasing the efficiency of assignment assessments, and encouraging ethical and sustainable thinking. The results of the literature analysis show that AI offers significant potential in improving the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of entrepreneurship learning. However, successful implementation of AI requires a comprehensive transformation of the educational paradigm, including curriculum updates, training of educators, and attention to ethical, regulatory, and cultural issues. This study provides a clear and structured overview of the contribution of AI in business education, identifies challenges and opportunities, and formulates recommendations for inclusive and sustainable AI integration.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of social entrepreneurship education in the context of preschool education and its impact on children's development. Along with the increasing awareness of social entrepreneurship, various social entrepreneurship activities have been implemented to support social welfare and community sustainability. Social entrepreneurship education plays a role in improving individuals' ability to identify and address social problems with innovative solutions, while developing independence, creativity, empathy, and rational thinking skills. This study also highlights the importance of integrating social entrepreneurship education at the preschool education stage, as it can strengthen children's self-esteem development and form innovative perspectives that are beneficial in the long term. By involving social entrepreneurship education from an early age, it is expected to prepare children to become individuals who are sensitive to social and environmental issues, and are able to contribute positively to society. These findings confirm that the integration of social entrepreneurship in preschool education has the potential to enrich children's social, cognitive, physical, linguistic, and emotional development.
