Abstract

Economic behavior has attracted scholars in the last decade, and past studies measured this construct partially from consumptive perspectives or entrepreneurial behavior (Mulyani et al., 2018). Therefore, this study aims to develop a new and valid measurement of students’ economic behavior and investigate its content validity using an exploratory factor analysis (EFA). The content validity is provided using an experts’ assessment method with a 4-point evaluation form. At the same time, the exploratory factor analysis is performed using SPSS. This study involved content validity assessment for each item (I-CVI) for the entire scale (S-CVI/Ave). Based on the analysis of the questionnaire scale, it can be concluded that the content validity check using I-CVI, S-CVI/Ave, and S-CVI/UA is all satisfactory except for item SEB20, which was subsequently dropped. On the other hand, the results of EFA indicated that two more items did not meet the thresholds and, thus, were excluded. Therefore, developing instruments to measure students’ economic behavior is prominent in dealing with digital changes, preventing consumptive behavior, and enhancing economic well-being.

Abstract

The involvement of e-learning in entrepreneurship education has invited the attention of scholars in developed and developing countries throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. This paper examines the determinant factors driving intention to adopt e-learning entrepreneurship among vocational school students in Indonesia. A quantitative research method employed a survey model to explain in detail how the effect of endogenous variables on exogenous variables either directly or through moderator variables. A total of 430 vocational students in Jakarta of Indonesia were involved in this study and collected using the convenience technique. We are adopting Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) to estimate the proposed model. The findings indicate that teacher characteristic, learning content, playfulness, students’ perceived usefulness, and ease of use have a strong impact on the intention to use e-learning in entrepreneurship. The study also notes that variables perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use successfully moderated the effect of teacher characteristics, design of learning contents, and playfulness on the intention to use e-learning entrepreneurship. The findings of this research are the first step in studying the enactment of e-learning in entrepreneurship education.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' 21st-century competencies. Differentiated learning with the gallery walk method is expected to provide learning competencies evenly and fairly. The development of Bruce Joyce's learning model, which actualizes individual abilities and differences, is the basis for the study of learning differentiation development in this study. Quasi-experimental quantitative research involves a control class with normal learning and an experimental class with the application of the gallery walk method and differentiated learning. Participants of this study consist of 60 students at Avicenna Jagakarsa High School - South Jakarta, Indonesia. A differentiated learning model using the Gallery walk method was conducted in two classes, then measured its effectiveness. The results of this study found that all students were able to take initiative, be active and build new knowledge and experiences, increase collaboration in learning groups, think openly and accept other people’s thoughts, and foster leadership. In the material aspect, students can analyze learning questions contextually and challenge them according to 21st-century learning competencies. For future researchers to be able to research learning differentiation in other learning materials as well as in different competencies.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship has been an important predictor of resolving the problem of unemployment in Indonesia and other countries through the creation of new jobs. Academics, scholars, and policy researchers especially promote entrepreneurial strategies because of their important role in expanding innovation, enhancing economic growth, and supporting economic development. The primary purpose of this study is to systematically identify and evaluate entrepreneurial intuition research. This study involved data from the Scopus database from 2004 to 2024 using preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) protocol. For visualization, this study involved VOSviewer software to determine the linkage of variables. The findings indicate that entrepreneurial intuition is often linked with several factors: sustainability, technology usage, and cognitive process. The findings also conclude that there is a robust relationship between entrepreneurial intuition and entrepreneurial intention. This paper also highlights the trend of entrepreneurial ideas for student education and the key role of entrepreneurial learning in enhancing entrepreneurial intuition. The findings of this paper are to allocate avenues for future research on the theme of entrepreneurial intuition.

Abstract

ABSTRACTIndonesia has abundant diversity of resources to promote economic growth, and insufficient capital will lead to economic stagnation. This paper aims at examining the impact of macroeconomic indicators such as gross domestic product and inflation toward foreign direct investment in Indonesia as well as investigating the ease of doing business factors in explaining foreign direct investment. This research involved a time-series from 2014 to 2019, which was collected from several official websites of Statistics Indonesia (BPS), Central Bank of Indonesia (BI), the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), and World Bank. Furthermore, the data were analyzed undergoing multiple linear regression analyses with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) model. The findings indicate that gross domestic product has a positive impact on foreign direct investment, while inflation has a negative effect. Also, the ease of doing business variables failed in explaining a significant influence between foreign direct investment in Indonesia.ABSTRAKIndonesia memiliki keanekaragaman sumber daya yang melimpah untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi namun permasalahan permodalan menyebabkan kelambanan yang menyebabkan stagnasi ekonomi.
