Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformation of letter archiving management from a manual system to a computerized system at PT. PLN (PERSERO) Area Sigli, Pidie Regency. The letter archiving system, previously based on paper, has now been replaced by a Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0-based system to improve the efficiency of archive management. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach, involving interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the implementation of the computerized system has improved the speed and accuracy of letter management, as well as reduced the risk of document damage or loss. However, challenges faced include high initial investment costs, staff training needs, and the availability of adequate infrastructure. Despite these challenges, the transformation has had a positive impact on operational efficiency and has facilitated easier access to information within the company. The findings of this study provide important insights into the benefits and challenges associated with the transition from a manual to a computerized archiving system.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan bagaimana pengaruh pinjaman bermasalah atau Non Performing Financing terhadap pendapatan perusahaan pada Koperasi Sejahtera Bersama Cabang Kuningan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif untuk meneliti adanya hubungan sebab akibat. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan data sekunder. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan teknik analisis kualitatif, uji asumsi klasik normalitas, autokolerasi, uji regresi linear sederhana, uji koefisien determinan (R2) dan uji T. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukan bahwa nilai R2 sebesar 0.051 yang berarti variabel pinjaman bermasalah mempunyai pengaruh sebesar 5.1% sementara itu 94.9% merupakan kontribusi dari variabel lain. Hasil uji T menunjukan bahwa thitung < ttabel (0.326 < 12.706) dengan tingkat signifikan 0.775 > 0.05, ini berarti H0 diterima H1 ditolak, yang artinya pinjaman bermasalah tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan perusahaan. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh pihak manajemen dalam mengatasi pinjaman bermasalah yaitu pertama, dengan cara meneruskan akad. Hal ini dilakukan untuk nasabah yang dianggap masih memiliki kemauan untuk membayar kewajibannya pada Koperasi. Kedua, pemutusan hubungan dengan nasabah. Hal ini dilakukan apabila nasabah betu-betul tidak mau dan tidak mampu lagi membayar kewajibannya.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has had a significant impact on various sectors, including education. The integration of technology in Quranic education offers great potential to enhance the quality of learning. This study aims to develop a workshop focusing on the implementation of the Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) method in Quranic instruction. The workshop is designed to equip educators with technical skills in utilizing educational technology, such as interactive tajwid simulators, audio tools, and automatic evaluation systems. Research indicates that the use of technology can significantly improve student motivation and the effectiveness of Quranic education. Akrami (2024) found that mobile-based applications effectively enhance student learning outcomes, while Hakimi (2024) emphasized the importance of flexible and interactive approaches in teaching. Through this workshop, educators are expected to apply technology effectively within Quranic curricula, thereby improving teaching quality and enriching students' learning experiences.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate and design a web-based information system for the Desa Tengah Office in Manggeng District, Abdya Regency. The current system still relies on manual methods, resulting in delays in data processing and accessibility issues for the community. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document studies. Observation was conducted to understand the operation of the existing system, interviews with the Village Head, village staff, and community members were held to identify issues and needs, and document studies were used to explore relevant administrative data. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively using coding, theme grouping, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that a web-based information system can improve operational efficiency and facilitate access to information for the community. The proposed system design includes features for managing village data, news, and facilitating interaction between the community and the village government. This research provides recommendations for designing a more efficient web-based information system, which is expected to enhance transparency, accountability, and community participation in village development processes.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the use of technology in human resource management (HR) to optimize efficiency and productivity. In this digital era, technology has become a crucial component in various aspects of HR management, from recruitment, training, performance evaluation, to employee data management. By using a case study approach on several companies that have implemented technology in their HR management processes, this research found that technology not only speeds up the administrative process, but also increases accuracy and consistency in decision making. Additionally, the use of HR management information systems (HRIS), cloud-based applications, and data analytics tools have enabled companies to monitor and manage employee performance in real-time. The research results show that the integration of technology in HR management can increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase employee productivity and satisfaction. Thus, companies that invest in HR management technology are expected to gain a significant competitive advantage.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine how the head of MI Ma'arif Kedawung, uses his leadership style to improve the effectiveness of teacher performance. The achievement of quality education goals is highly dependent on teacher performance. Field studies with other qualitative methods were used to compile this research. In-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis were used to collect this data. This study's subjects were the madrasah's head and two educators of MI Ma'arif Kedawung. Our purpose in conducting this research is to gain insight into how the leadership style of madrasah heads builds a conducive environment that supports the formation of quality human resources in the world. The research results on the leadership style of the head of the madrasah influence the performance of teachers in MI Ma'arif Kedawung. The results of this study show democratic leadership styles have a positive impact on encouraging teacher performance in MI Ma'arif Kedawung. Support in effective communication, coaching and professional development, motivation, and problem-solving also play a vital role in improving human resources, namely teachers and staff.

Abstract

The proliferation of global academic discourse necessitates the effective dissemination of scientific research through reputable international journals. This study investigates an international training program aimed at enhancing the capabilities of researchers in Indonesia and Sudan for publishing in high-impact journals. The training program focuses on equipping participants with essential skills in manuscript preparation, understanding international journal standards, and navigating the publication process. Through a case study approach, the research assesses the program’s effectiveness in improving participants' publication outcomes and the implications for their respective academic institutions. The findings reveal that the training significantly enhanced participants' proficiency in crafting high-quality manuscripts, aligning with international journal criteria, and successfully navigating the peer-review process. Participants reported increased confidence and competence in their writing and submission practices, contributing to a higher rate of successful publications in reputable journals. Additionally, the program fostered greater collaboration and knowledge exchange between researchers from Indonesia and Sudan, promoting a more integrated global academic community. This study underscores the value of targeted international training programs in bridging gaps in academic publishing practices and strengthening the global presence of researchers from diverse contexts. The implications for policy and practice include the need for continued support and development of such training initiatives to further advance the quality and impact of scientific research on a global scale.

Abstract

The aim of this research is; knowing the data collection on employee report registers at the Aceh Reintegration Agency Secretariat, and designing desktop-based data collection on employee report registers at the Aceh Reintegration Agency Secretariat. The development method used is prototyping and this application is designed using VB.NET while the evaluation process is carried out based on 4 categories, namely Content, Organization and Readability, Navigation, User Interface Design and Performance and Effectiveness. From the results of research and observations that have been carried out at the Aceh Reintegration Agency (BRA), it can be concluded that; 1) With the employee registration information system at the Aceh Reintegration Agency (BRA) it becomes precise, and accurate, especially in the personnel section, and getting information about the employee becomes easier, 2) This information system is able to overcome the problems that often occur in the Reintegration Agency Aceh (BRA) difficulties in controlling and supervising employee data and reporting which can avoid delays in making employee reports every year and for a certain period of time, and 3) Developing an information system program to obtain quality information, and 4) Based on the evaluation of the current desktop application display With the prototype design, it is known that each category has an increase in the usability value. Content, Organization and Readability previously had a value of 0.53 and increased to 0.73. The Navigation category was previously 0.42 to 0.62. The previous User Interface Design category was 0.42 to 0.64 and the previous Performance and Effectiveness category was 0.67 to 0.68.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di SMA Yappenda Jakarta Utara dengan tujuan memberikan pemahaman mengenai keamanan data dan proses pencadangan data (backup) ke Google Drive. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari dua tahap utama, yaitu penyampaian materi melalui presentasi PowerPoint dan simulasi teknis oleh tim pengabdian. Materi mencakup pengenalan konsep virtualisasi menggunakan VirtualBox, dan penggunaan Rclone untuk menghubungkan sistem lokal dengan Google Drive. Simulasi dilakukan oleh salah satu anggota tim dengan menggunakan laptop yang telah terpasang VirtualBox, mengingat tidak semua komputer di laboratorium sekolah mendukung instalasi sistem dan jaringan yang dibutuhkan. Keterbatasan waktu dan perangkat membuat siswa tidak melakukan praktik langsung, namun partisipasi aktif mereka terlihat dalam sesi tanya jawab. Kegiatan ini tetap berhasil memberikan gambaran menyeluruh tentang pentingnya keamanan data serta langkah teknis untuk melakukan backup ke cloud.Kata Kunci: Keamanan data, backup, Google Drive, Rclone, VirtualBox, Ubuntu
