Abstract

WHO melaporkan limbah yang dihasilkan pelayanan kesehatan (rumah Sakit) hampir 80% berupa limbah umum dan 20% barupa limbah bahan berbahaya yang mungkin menular, beracun atau radioaktif. Salah satu karakteristik dari limbah cair rumah sakit yaitu memiliki kadar Fosfat. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui efektifitas dan efisien alluminium sulfat dalam menurunkan kadar fosfat pada limbah cair di RSUP dr. Tadjuddin Chalid Makassar.Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan desain pre test dan post test yang akan diuji secara deskriptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengetahui efektifitas dan efisien alluminium sulfat dalam menurunkan kadar fosfat pada limbah cair di RSUP dr. Tadjuddin Chalid Makassar berjumlah 6 sampel inlet limbah cair yang diambil secara langsung dibak penampungan awal serta teknik analisis data univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji statistik Paired sample t test. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh ada perbedaan pada rata-rata pre test dan post test pada kelompok perlakuan. kadar Fosfat dengan varasi 0,25 gr/l mengalami penurunan dengan rata-rata fosfat sebelum diberi perlakuan sebesar 0,18 dan setelah diberi perlakuan mengalami perubahan sebesar 0,062.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Program pencegahan DBD yang dijalankan pemerintah saat ini dianggap kurangefektif. Hal ini ditandai dengan masih tingginya angka insiden kejadian di masyarakat yang masih cukup tinggi. Berdasarkan data jumlah kejadian penyakit DBD di kelurahan Tamamaung sebanyak 16 kasus.Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui karakteristik Breeding places, densitas jentik serta pertumbuhan larva Aedes aegypti pada beberapa jenis air antara lain: air hujan, air sumur gali, air selokan dan air PAM.Metode: Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan observasional dilapangan sedangkan untuk Pemeriksaan jenis air dengan metode quasy experiment. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah rumah warga di RW 06 Kelurahan Tamammaung sebanyak 98 rumah.. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji varian (ANOVA).Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Jenis bahan dasar TPA yang disukai Aedes aegypti yaituGentong ditemukan sebanyak 77 (76,7%), Untuk jenis bahan dasar Non TPA yaitu jenis ban bekas yang berbahan dasar karet yaitu 8 (88,9%), kaleng bekas berbahan dasar logam/seng 5 (12,2%), dan yang paling sedikit pada tempat minum hewan bahan dasar plastik 4 (44,4%) Kepadatan Jentik Aedes aegypti Di Kelurahan Tamammaung yaitu House Index (HI) 34,7 DF (5=Sedang) Container Indeks (CI) 32,6,%, DF (8=Tinggi) dan Breteau Index (B) 168% DF(8=Tinggi). Larva Aedes aegypti paling banyak mati pada kelompok air PDAM (64%) dan mampu bertahan hidup lebih dari 6 hari pada Air selokan dengan persentase sebesar (82,8%), Total pertumbuhan larva menjadi pupa tertinggi terdapat pada air selokan dengan persentase sebesar (5,33%).Kesimpulan: Sebaiknya masyarakat menggunakan jenis bahan TPA yang permukaannya halus licin dan mudah di bersihkan untuk keperluan sehari-hari, selain kurang disukai oleh nyamuk Aedes aegypti, bahan plastik mudah dibersihkan. Masyarakat dihimbau agar membuang tempat-tempat yang sudah tidak digunakan dan berpotensial menjadi tempat berkembang biak nyamuk Aedes aegypti, seperti kaleng dan ban bekas yang berada di sekitar rumah

Abstract

Purpose: to analyze the determinants of the use of Covid-19 PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) on healthworkers at Salewangang Hospital, Maros Regency.Methods: The type of research used is the analytical survey method of research conducted withoutintervention to the research subject. Data collection regarding free and dependent variables was carriedout online using Google Form and the results of Google Form data collection were processed using SPSS20, where a sample of 199 respondents was taken from health workers at Salewangang Maros RegionalHospital in 2020. The analysis was used to explain the influence of the variables - independent variables tothe dependent variable partially using Logistic Regression Analysis.Results: Based on the results shows that knowledge has a 12-fold effect on behavior The use of Covid 19PPE and the attitude of health workers has a significant effect on the behavior of using the OR value of 16.6,which means that attitudes have a 16.6-fold effect on the behavior of using Covid 19 PPEConclusion: Based on this study, it is concluded that the availability of PPE, knowledge and attitudes ofhealth workers have a significant effect on the behavior of using PPE Covid-19 with a significant value of0.000?0.05.

Abstract

Objective: to analyze the relationship between the Quantitative Helmint Assessment with nutritional statusand the incidence of stunting in SD Bangkala III students in Makassar CityMethod :This type of research is analytic observational using cross sectional design. Location This researchwas conducted at SD Bangkala III, Bangkala Village, Manggala District, Makassar City. 63 samples weretaken using proportional stratified random sampling technique and simple random sampling. Quantitativeexamination is needed to determine the intensity of infection or severity of disease by knowing the numberof eggs per gram of feces (EPG) in each type of worm.Results: based on the measurement results of the helmint assessment for the mild category with the incidenceof stuting and not stunting kneeling as many as 8 (38.0%), 13 (62.0%), respectively. In the measurementresults, the moderate category with the incidence of stuting and non-stunting was 11 (38%), respectively. 13(62%), while the results of QHA measurements for the severe category of knee stunting were 1 (25%), and 3(75%), respectively. based on the measurement results of the helmint assessment for the light category withnutritional status of thin, normal and obese knees as many as 5 (23.8%), 13 (62.0%) and 3 (14.2%).Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between QRA and nutritional status in elementary schoolstudents with p value (0.003), there is a significant relationship between QRA and the incidence of stuntingwith p value (0.022).

Abstract

Purpose: The aims to analyze the effect of exposure to silica dust and individual characteristics on subjectivecomplaints of workers’Methods: The study design used a cross sectional approach. This research was conducted at PT. BumiSarana Beton Kalla Block, samples in this study were workers in the ballmill, mixing and packing as manyas 27 people using the total sampling method. Data analysis using chi-square test and multiple regressiontest.Results: the results showed that the effect of age on subjective complaints of respiratory disorders was p0.904> 0.05, the effect of smoking on subjective complaints of respiratory disorders p 0.485> 0.05, the effectof working tenure on subjective complaints of respiratory disorders p 0.728> 0.05, the effect of The use ofrespiratory protective equipment against subjective complaints of respiratory disorders p 0.820> 0.05, theeffect of work history on subjective complaints of respiratory disorders p 0.647> 0.05, the effect of exposureto silica dust on subjective complaints of respiratory disorders p 0.529> 0.05.Conclusion: exposure to silica dust and individual characteristic factors such as age, smoking habits, yearsof service, use of respiratory protective equipment, and work history are not significant to the subjectivecomplaints of respiratory

Abstract

The aim of this study was to test the effectiveness of secang wood extract (Caesalpinia sappan L) onIL-6 and IL-10 expression in Balb / c mice with vulvovaginalis candidiasis. This type of research is anexperimental laboratory, with a control group design using experimental animals as research objects. Theresearch subjects were BALB / c mice weighing 35-40 grams, aged 10-12 weeks, the number of experimentalanimals needed in this study was 18 for 3 random groups, each group being 6. Analysis and data processingusing the excel program SPSS Repeated ANOVA Test was used to measure differences in cytokine levels.IL-6 levels in group 1 (control) where the value of IL-6 expression after infection (H1) was 4309.40 pg /mL(IQR value 3803.8-4963.5) after treatment (H7) in the control group increased by 5578.12 pq / mL (IQR5330.3 - 6162.9). In group 2 that were given fluconazole and secang wood extract, IL-6 levels tended todecrease by 3516.4 pq / mL (IQR: 3070.4-4061.6) Secang wood after infection decreased from 3417.34 pq/ mL to 2782.97 pq / mL after treatment. In Group 2 that was given fluconazole and secang wood extract,IL-10 levels increased by 1414.8 pq / ml (IQR: 1061.7- 3158) after infection, to 3268.35 pq / ml (IQRvalue: 1789.9-3709.6) after treatment. given secang wood after infection increased from 2032.67 pq / ml to3091.83 pq / mL after treatment. The p value is 0.008. Obtained the effect of secang wood extract in reducinglevels of Interleukin 6 and can increase the value of IL-10 levels after administration of secang wood extracton candidiasis vulvovaginalis

Abstract

The quality of drinking water consumed should be eligible. Based on data obtained from the Department of Health Makassar number of diarrhea patients in the District Panakkukang as many as 2,753 people. While the quality of water taps for the District Panakkukang including clean water class D category is very bad because it found the bacteria Escherichia coli > 1100 cells / 100ml. The study aims to determine the content of Escherichia coli in DAMIU in District Panakkukang Makassar.This research uses observational analytic with cross sectional approach. Population of 81 de-pots drinking water, sampling was done by purposive sampling at 22 water depots then examined and analyzed in the laboratory.The results showed that of the 22 samples studied contained 20 AMIU eligible and 2 AMIU are not eligible. This happens because the used processing equipment functioned properly. The sam-ples were positive for Escherichia coli bacteria in addition to the sanitary conditions around the depot that bad either condition processing equipment used do not function and some processing tools has been severely damaged. The results of the analysis showed no relationship between equipment pengolahan drinking water with Escherichia coli p value 0,026 and there was no corre-lation between the condition of the drinking water treatment, hygiene condition handlers and also raw water with Escherichia coli p value 1.000.The Suggested to the owner DAMIU in Sub Panakkukang already qualified drinking water quali-ty based on the Minister of Health in 2010 in order to keep the quality of drinking water produced and for DAM produced do not qualify for more attention to processing equipment used and re-place all the tools that are not feasible used or expired.Keyword : MPN E.coli, Hygiene sanitation, DAMIU

Abstract

Anak sekolah merupakan konsumen makanan yang telah aktif dan mandiri dalam menentukan makanan yang dikehendakinya, Mereka memiliki kebebasan untuk menggunakan uang jajan mereka untuk makanan dan minuman sesuai dengan selera mereka sendiri di tempat-tempat umum memungkinkan anak-anak lebih banyak mengkonsumsi makanan jajanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan Mengetahui zat pewarna, pemanis, pengawet sintetis serta perilaku siswa terhadap jajanan di sekolah dasar kota Makassar tahun 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif laboratorik dengan menggunakan metode uji kualitatif kimia untuk melihat kandungan zat pemanis, pengawet, pewarna, serta perilaku siswa  pada jajanan di Sekolah Dasar Kota Makassar.Sampel berjumlah 192 responden dan 8 sampel jajanan. Data diperoleh menggunakan kuosioner dan pengambilan sampel jajanan.Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa dari 8 sampel makanan dan minuman tidak terdapat kandungan zat Rhodamin B, Methanyl Yellow, Siklamat, Boraks dan formalin. Keseluruhan sampel memenuhi syarat Sedangkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan responden secara umum sama-sama berada pada kategori sedang. Oleh karena itu diharapkan kepada pihak sekolah agar pemberian informasi rutin tantang makanan dan minuman jajanan yang mengandung BTM beserta bahayanya kepada siswa. Serta pada siswa agar lebih selektif dalam memilih jajanan yang akan dikonsumsi. Kata kunci :BTM, Rhodamin B, Methanyl Yelllow, Siklamat, Boraks, Formalin

Abstract

Salt is a white, crystalline solid which is a collection of compounds with the largest portion of Sodium Chloride (more than 8%) and other compounds such as Magnesium Chloride, Magnesium Sulfate, Calcium Chlorida, and others. Salt has properties or characteristics which means it is easy to absorb water, bulkdensity (density level) of 0.8 to 0.9 and melting point at a temperature level of 801°C. To determine the microplastic content of salt in the Terong Market, Bontoala Village, Makasaar City in 2019. This type of research is an observational study with a descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that all salt samples examined at the Marine Ecotoxicology Laboratory, Department of Marine Sciences, Faculty of Marine Sciences and Fisheries, Hasanuddin University, Makassar 100% contain microplastics. The author suggests to the public to pay more attention to the environmental cleanliness of the eggplant market in order to avoid the effects of environmental pollution and reduce the use of excessive plastic. Keywords: Salt, Microplastic, Traditional Market

Abstract

Background: CRHR1 receptors are very important for determining the initial HPA axis response to stressfulevents. Changes in the CRH system and chronically elevated CRH levels are involved in stress-relatedaffective disorders.Methods: The design of this study is a quasi-experimental approach / quasi experimental and one groupdesign pre and post test design with group control. The population in this study were all trimester IIIprimigravida mothers who examined their pregnancy in PPK I ranks of the XIV / Hasanuddin Kesdam andseveral health centers in Makassar in 2019. The sample in this study amounted to 24 respondentsResults: the mean CRHR1 gene expression value after was greater than the mean CRHR1 gene expressionbefore. So this means that in the control group CRHR1 gene expression in third trimester pregnant womenthere will be a significant increase.Conclusion: an increase in CRHR1 gene expression means that it can be concluded that prenatal yogadecreases CRHR1 gene expression before and after treatment.
