Abstract

The addition of ameliorant materials into the soil on former post-rock mining land was identified as one of the potential approaches in improving soil quality. This study aims to determine the effect of ameliorant materials on the growth and yield of horticultural crops. The study used a Randomized Group Design with five treatments and three. Plants used as indicator plants used two types of horticultural crops (spinach and pakcoy). The treatments consisted of KS0 (Control), KS1 (compost at a dose of 10 t ha-1 + biofertilizer 5 ml L-1), KS2 (compost at a dose of 15 t ha-1 + biofertilizer 10 ml L-1), KS3 (compost at a dose of 20 t ha-1 + biofertilizer 15 ml L-1), and KS4 (compost at a dose of 25 t ha-1 + biofertilizer 20 ml L-1). The results of the research showed that the application of ameliorant material had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves and wet weight of pakchoy plants, but had no significant effect on plant root length. Treatment with a compost dose of 15 t ha-1 + biofertilizer 10 ml L-1 (KS2) gave the highest results for the growth of Pakcoy plants. The provision of ameliorant had a significant effect on all observation parameters (plant height, number of leaves, wet weight and root length) of spinach plants, where treatment with a compost dose of 20 t ha-1 + biofertilizer 15 ml L-1 (KS3) gave the highest results on growth Spinach plant. These results imply that the ameliorant used can be used as an alternative in improving the quality of former sand mining land. ABSTRAK Penambahan bahan amelioran ke dalam tanah di lahan bekas tambang batuan diidentifikasi sebagai salah satu pendekatan yang berpotensi dalam perbaikan kualitas tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian bahan amelioran terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman hortikultura. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan lima perlakukan dan tiga kelompok. Tanaman yang digunakan sebagai tanaman indikator menggunakan dua jenis tanaman hortikultura (bayam dan pakcoy). Adapun perlakuan yang diberikan terdiri dari Kontrol (KS0), kompos ampas sagu dengan dosis 10 t ha-1 + pupuk hayati 5 ml L-1 (KS1), kompos ampas sagu dengan dosis 15 t ha-1 + pupuk hayati 10 ml L-1 (KS2), kompos ampas sagu dengan dosis 20 t ha-1 + pupuk hayati 15 ml L-1 (KS3), dan kompos ampas sagu dengan dosis 25 t ha-1 + pupuk hayati 20 ml L-1 (KS4). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian bahan amelioran berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan bobot basah tanaman pakcoy, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang akar tanaman. Perlakuan dengan dosis kompos ampas sagu 15 t ha-1 + pupuk hayati 10 ml L-1 (KS2) memberikan hasil tertinggi terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman Pakcoy. Pemberian bahan amelioran berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter pengamatan (tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot basah dan Panjang akar) tanaman bayam, dimana perlakuan dengan dosis kompos ampas sagu 20 t ha-1 + pupuk hayati 15 ml L-1 (KS3) memberikan hasil tertinggi terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman Bayam. Hasil ini memberikan implikasi bahwa bahan amelioran yang digunakan dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif dalam perbaikan kualitas lahan bekas tambang pasir.

Abstract

Cultivating lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) using plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) in Sorong Regency is uncommon, limiting production despite the high market potential. This study aims to evaluate the effect of PGPR and identify the optimal concentration to improve lettuce growth and yield. The research was conducted in Malawili Village, Sorong Regency, Indonesia, using a randomized block design (RBD) with four treatments: P0 (7.5 mL/L), P1 (10.5 mL/L), P2 (13.5 mL/L), and P3 (16.5 mL/L). Results revealed that PGPR significantly enhanced growth parameters, including plant height, leaf number, fresh biomass weight, biomass weight per plot, fresh weight for consumption, and root length. Among all treatments, 13.5 mL/L (P2) demonstrated the best outcomes, with plant height reaching 14.6 cm, fresh biomass weight of 633.3 g, and root length of 9.6 cm. PGPR application at appropriate concentrations effectively stimulates growth, increases nutrient uptake, and improves yield. These findings underline PGPR's potential to enhance lettuce production sustainably.

Abstract

The concept of viral stealth marketing has been actively used by marketers to make products well received in society. Stealth marketing is one of the digital marketing strategies that advertises a product or service to someone, without them realizing that they are becoming a marketing object. Stealth Marketing is more commonly found on social media platforms today such as Facebook or Instagram compared to traditional advertising media such as newspaper, TV and radio broadcasts. Influencer as a service provider is becoming more general in this method of marketing. Cosmetic products are products that are often marketed with the viral stealth marketing method. Recommendations of cosmetic products from people we know will be easier to accept. Data collection was carried out by conducting a survey on the age group of Gen Z. Data processing using paired t-test and F-test. The results of the paired t-test found that there was a difference in the buying interest of consumers who received product promotion treatment (B1) with the group of consumers who received agent recognition treatment (B2) with a significance value of 0.000. Meanwhile, the results of the F-test show that the presence of agent recognition treatment affects consumers' buying interest in indicators of seeking information, trying products, knowing more, and the desire to own products. This result indicates a change in the buying interest of consumers to cosmetic products when they are aware of the use of viral stealth marketing promotion methods.

Abstract

This thinks about points to create an appraisal of thinking skills of interpretation, analysis, and inference through analytical essay assessment instruments, worksheets, and problem-solving. Preliminary investigation of the advancement of basic considering aptitudes assessment instruments for prospective Physics teachers in the last 3 (three) years in the Basic Physics course, the test instruments in the Basic Physics course have not been fully oriented to indicators of interpretation, analysis, and inference thinking skills. The process of changing Physics learning, both at the tertiary level and at the secondary school level, is directed at training students to use their thinking potential. One of the Physics learning skills mentioned in Permendikbud Number 64 of 2013 is the development of thinking skills of interpretation, analysis, and inference. This shows that the process and evaluation of learning physics, especially basic physics, should be directed at developing thinking skills in interpretation, analysis, and inference. This inquiry is spurred by the requirement for an appraisal instrument that measures critical thinking skills, especially interpretation, analysis, and inference thinking skills. This study aims to develop an assessment of thinking skills of interpretation, analysis, and inference through analytical essay assessment instruments, worksheets, and problem-solving. This study refers to the 4D Thiagarajan model and produces an assessment that measures the ability to think of interpretation, analysis, and inference. The test instrument was created within the shape of essay analysis, and problem-solving on indicators of thinking skills of interpretation, analysis, and inference. The test instrument was further validated by two experts, and it can be concluded that the created test is exceptionally attainable to utilize.

Abstract

in DC motor experiments to understand the concepts of power, momentum, and force. The urgency of this research lies in the need to bridge the gap between physics theory and practical applications, which can help students better understand abstract physics concepts. This research employs a STEM-based approach that integrates technology and hands-on experiments, where the Arduino Uno acts as the main controller in the experiment. The method used involves a DC motor experiment controlled by Arduino, measuring variables such as voltage, current, and motor speed to analyze the relationship between power, momentum, and system efficiency. The data obtained from this experiment is used to calculate power, momentum, and efficiency, providing insights into the conversion of electrical energy to mechanical energy. The results show that the STEM-based experimental approach with Arduino is effective in enhancing students' understanding of fundamental physics principles and modern technology applications. The use of Arduino enables more accurate measurements and precise control over experimental variables. This study also finds that the experiment can improve students' technical skills in programming and microcontrollers, supporting STEM education.

Abstract

— ASTRINA WULAN PUTRI. The Role of Local Cultural Values in Influencing UI/UX Design Preferences of the Maxride Application Among Students of Hasanuddin University (supervised by Eliyah Acantha Manapa Sampetoding).Background.Indonesia is a multicultural country with various local cultures that influence preferences in the use of technology, including UI/UX design of applications. In South Sulawesi, cultural values such as Tabe and the 3S Principles (Sipakatau, Sipakalebbi, Sipakainge’) significantly affect user behavior when interacting with applications. Objective.This study aims to examine the relationship between local cultural values and the UI/UX design preferences of the Maxride application, as well as to test the influence of local wisdom on design elements such as color, iconography, layout, and navigation. Method.This study employs a Mixed-Methods Approach (Quantitative and Qualitative), involving 193 respondents through a Likert scale survey and a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with 15 participants. Data analysis was performed using triangulation to strengthen the validity of the results. Results.The quantitative study revealed a significant relationship between the UI/UX design elements of the Maxride application and local cultural values, with a Cronbach’s alpha value of 0.952. The qualitative study showed that local cultural values influence user preferences regarding design elements such as color, icons, and navigation.Conclusion. Local cultural values play an essential role in shaping user preferences for the UI/UX design of the Maxride application. By integrating these cultural values, user satisfaction with the design can be improved.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mensimulasikan sistem remote control inframerah (IR) berbasis Arduino sebagai media pembelajaran elektronika yang interaktif, menggunakan platform Tinkercad. Sistem ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman praktis kepada siswa mengenai cara kerja sistem kontrol nirkabel, komunikasi perangkat keras, dan pemrograman dengan Arduino. Penggunaan Tinkercad sebagai alat simulasi memungkinkan siswa untuk merakit dan menguji rangkaian secara virtual, menghilangkan risiko kerusakan komponen fisik dan mempercepat proses pembelajaran. Desain sistem ini menggabungkan Arduino Uno sebagai mikrokontroler, modul IR transmitter dan receiver, serta perangkat yang dikendalikan, seperti LED atau relay. Sistem bekerja dengan menerima sinyal inframerah dari remote control yang diterjemahkan oleh Arduino untuk mengontrol perangkat output. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Tinkercad dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam eksperimen elektronika dasar dan memperkenalkan konsep komunikasi nirkabel serta pemrograman mikrokontroler secara praktis. Hasil pengujian sistem ini membuktikan keandalan dan efektivitasnya dalam pembelajaran elektronika, meskipun terdapat keterbatasan pada jangkauan sinyal IR. Temuan ini menunjukkan potensi besar penggunaan teknologi IR dan Arduino untuk pendidikan elektronika serta mendorong pengembangan sistem pembelajaran berbasis simulasi yang lebih interaktif dan terjangkau.

Abstract

The research analyzes the educational experiences of rural junior high school Indonesian language teachers by examining their teaching competence improvement barriers. A qualitative method enabled researchers to obtain data from classroom observations together with in-depth interviews and focus group discussions involving twelve teachers who teach at different rural educational facilities. Research demonstrates that rural teachers experience important barriers because they face restricted access to basic resources together with restricted access to professional development and technological support. Despite these obstacles, teachers employ various strategies for self-improvement, such as peer collaboration, online learning, and community support. Rural teachers receive essential help from neighborhood residents who provide facilities along with encouragement to bridge their educational deficiencies. This research demonstrates both the significance of nonformal professional support systems used by teachers as well as their ability to cope with their individual teaching situations effectively. Rural schools need both enhanced organizational backing and stronger community involvement to build teacher qualification levels which produces better academic outcomes in their areas. The study contributes to research overlooking rural education while providing concrete suggestions for authorities and education leaders to enhance teacher development in underserved rural regions.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the data analysis skills of prospective physics teachers through training in the use of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The training was conducted online over three sessions from May 16–18, 2025, involving students currently completing their final projects in the Physics Education Program at Universitas Negeri Makassar. The program included conceptual review of basic statistics, direct SPSS practice, and independent evaluation. Participants were introduced to descriptive, inferential, associative, comparative, and multivariate statistical analysis using SPSS. The results show a positive response and high enthusiasm among participants, particularly during hands-on practice sessions. Evaluation outcomes indicated that most students were able to manage and analyze research data accurately and effectively. This activity not only improved students' technical competencies but also supported their academic readiness and professional development as future educators in the field of physics.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of classroom management in improving learning at SDN 198 Cinennung Kec. China District. Bone. The important thing studied in this thesis is to find out the application of classroom management, the effectiveness of learning and the application of classroom management to increase the effectiveness of learning at SDN 198 Cinennung Kec. China District. Bone. To facilitate solving the problems above, field research is used (Field Research) using techniques such as observation, interviews (interviews) and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis with three stages, namely the data reduction stage (data reduction), data presentation (data display), and conclusion drawing/verification.
