Abstract

To support educational goals and facilitate the learning process, a media is needed so that it can achieve learning goals. The purpose of this study was to find out the use of LMS google classroom on material linear equations and inequalities for one class VII variable. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. In the implementation of the LMS using the Problem Based Learning learning model. Subjects between 10 class VII students (control) in class and 10 students VII (experimental) in a Google classroom at the UPTD school of SMP Negeri 1 Kalabahi. Judging from the results of the N-Gain score of 10 students in class VII (control) in the N-Gain class the score was 0.35141122 at the Criterion level of "Medium" N-Gain level. While the results of the percentage of the N-Gain score, namely 35.14112204, are in the "Less Effective" N-Gain Effectiveness Interpretation Category and the N-Gain results of 10 students VII (experimental) in the Google classroom, namely 0.664, are in the "Medium" N-Gain level Criteria. While the results of the percentage of N-Gain score, namely 66.4, are in the "Quite Effective" N-Gain Effectiveness Interpretation Category.

Abstract

Research Trend of Computational Thinking in Phiysics Learning: a Bibliometric Analysis from 2015 to 2024. This study performs bibliometric analysis to examine research development on CT in physics education for the years spanning 2015-2024. Objective: The study seeks to outline the research and intellectual history of Computation Thinking (CT) integration within a specific framework by examining its spatial development in terms of the primary contributors CT’s development through analyzing cumulative research, leading journals, contributing countries, dominant scholars, thematic networks and the changes of key topics over time. Methods: From the Scopus database, 345 peer-reviewed journal articles were selected. To visualize research networks, VOSviewer was used, while Bibliometrix in R Studio was used to analyze publication trends, author contributions, journal impact, citations, and assess the citation patterns of work over time. Findings: From the Scopus database, a total of 345 peer-reviewed journals were selected. The quantitative data analysis involving visualization of research networks was done using VOSviewer, while Bibliometrix (R Studio) was used for evaluation of publication and author contributions in relation to impact, citation, and trends. Findings indicate significant growth in research focused on Computational Thinking (CT) in Physics Education, with an overarching 33.86% annual increase, peaking in 2023. The research covers 156 journals, with the most prolific being Education and Information Technologies. The evaluation emphasized the exceptional worldwide collaboration with 1,216 authors from countries like the United States, Indonesia, and China. Intent phrase clusters included “computational thinking”, “augmented reality”, and “STEM education” indicating an emphasis on the integration of CT with advanced technologies. The evolution of themes indicates movement from STEM simulations to more expansive virtual reality and critical thinking. Conclusions: The advancements in physics education and students' problem-solving skills, as well as teaching innovations through International collaborations, have begun using Computational Thinking CT). Keywords: computational thinking, physics education, bibliometric analysis, vosviewer, bibliometrix.

Abstract

Banana peel is a carbohydrate-rich by-product with potential as a fermentation substrate for enzyme production. This study aimed to evaluate the amylase production and storage stability of enzymes obtained through solid-state fermentation (SSF) of banana peel flour using Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus licheniformis. Fermentation was conducted for 24 and 48 hours, followed by crude enzyme extraction and storage for 24 hours at room temperature. Proximate analysis revealed banana peel flour contained 78.64% carbohydrates and 46.24% starch, supporting its suitability as a fermentation medium. The highest amylase activities were 50.36 IU/mL/min (B. subtilis) and 56.33 IU/mL/min (B. licheniformis) after 24 hours, with comparable values at 48 hours. However, enzyme activity declined by over 78% after 24 hours of storage, indicating low stability at room temperature. These findings confirm that banana peel flour is an effective, low-cost substrate for amylase production via SSF. Nevertheless, stabilization strategies post-fermentation are crucial to preserve enzyme activity during storage. This study highlights the dual benefit of converting agricultural waste into valuable enzymes and supports further research on improving enzyme shelf-life for industrial applications.

Abstract

Lulusan program pendidikan diharapkan memiliki hard skill dan soft skill yang terasah secara optimal. Salah satu keterampilan penting yang harus dimiliki oleh calon guru adalah kemampuan berargumentasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan mendeskripsikan keterampilan berargumentasi (communication skill) calon guru sebagai bagian dari penguatan keterampilan abad ke-21. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan lokasi penelitian di Universitas Pancasakti Makassar pada program studi Pendidikan Fisika. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 45 mahasiswa angkatan 2022–2024. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal esai yang telah tervalidasi. Keterampilan berargumentasi diukur berdasarkan lima indikator, yaitu claim, data, warrant, backing, dan rebuttal. Argumentasi yang baik mencakup kelima indikator tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa indikator claim dan data memperoleh persentase tertinggi sebesar 70% dengan kategori kuat, sedangkan indikator warrant, backing, dan rebuttal masih berada pada persentase sekitar 40% dengan kualifikasi cukup. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa cenderung hanya mampu menyajikan bukti data, namun belum menguasai seluruh komponen keterampilan berargumentasi secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

This research aims to determine (1) the influence of knowledge sharing andemployee engagement, (2) the influence of knowledge sharing on employee performance,(3) and the influence of employee engagement on employee performance at PDAM KotaPalopo. The population in this study is all employees at PDAM Kota Palopo, with a samplesize of 30 according to Roscoe's statement. The data analysis techniques used aredescriptive analysis, validity and reliability tests, and multiple linear regression analysis.The results of the study indicate that (1) knowledge sharing and employee engagementsimultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of PDAM Kota Palopoemployees, meaning that the first hypothesis in this study is accepted. This is proventhrough the F-test results with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. (2) Knowledge sharingpartially has a significant effect on the performance of PDAM Kota Palopo employees,meaning that the second hypothesis in this study is accepted. This was proven through thet-test results with a probability value of 0.000 < 0.05. (3) Employee engagement alsopartially significantly influences the performance of PDAM Kota Palopo employees,meaning that the third hypothesis in this study is accepted. This was proven through the ttest results with a probability value of 0.032 < 0.05.

Abstract

Pemantauan suhu merupakan aspek krusial dalam berbagai bidang, mulai dari rumah tangga, laboratorium, hingga aplikasi industri, di mana kestabilan suhu sangat memengaruhi proses dan hasil kerja. Namun, banyak sistem pemantauan suhu yang tersedia masih memiliki keterbatasan dari segi biaya, kompleksitas, dan aksesibilitas bagi pengguna umum. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem pemantauan suhu yang sederhana, efektif, dan berbiaya rendah dengan memanfaatkan platform mikrokontroler Arduino. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan design research yang terdiri dari tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi melalui simulasi, serta evaluasi hasil. Sensor suhu TMP36 digunakan untuk membaca nilai suhu lingkungan, yang kemudian ditampilkan secara real-time melalui layar LCD 16x2. Prototipe sistem dikembangkan menggunakan simulator berbasis Tinkercad, yang memungkinkan proses pengujian dan validasi tanpa memerlukan perangkat keras fisik. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mendeteksi dan menampilkan suhu dengan akurasi yang baik dan respons waktu yang cepat. Antarmuka yang dirancang bersifat user-friendly, sehingga sistem dapat dioperasikan dengan mudah oleh pengguna tanpa latar belakang teknis. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengindikasikan peluang pengembangan lebih lanjut melalui integrasi dengan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT), guna memungkinkan pemantauan suhu secara jarak jauh. Dengan demikian, sistem ini dapat menjadi solusi efisien dan praktis untuk kebutuhan pemantauan suhu skala kecil maupun sebagai media pembelajaran dalam bidang elektronika dan fisika.

Abstract

In the rapidly advancing digital era, the integration of technology in education has become essential for enhancing the learning experience. One promising tool in this regard is animation software like Doodly, which can significantly elevate the quality of physics teaching. This research seeks to develop teaching materials for physics that leverage Doodly’s animation capabilities, aiming not only to bolster teachers’ digital skills but also to increase student engagement in the learning process. The methodology employed in this study involves a descriptive approach, with design validation conducted by experts in physics, multimedia learning, and educational technology. Expert validation sheets and revision guides were used as instruments, and the data were analyzed using Aiken’s V formula to assess the validity of the materials developed. The findings suggest that the Doodly-based physics teaching materials are of excellent quality, demonstrating high validity scores in terms of presentation feasibility (0.89), content feasibility (0.86), and language use (0.89). The animation-based approach in these materials has proven effective in improving students’ comprehension of challenging concepts while enriching their learning experience. However, the research also points out that certain aspects, such as visual design and video duration, could still benefit from further refinement. Ultimately, the study confirms that Doodly-based teaching resources are highly effective in enhancing both teachers’ digital competencies and student engagement, contributing significantly to the development of more dynamic, technology-driven physics education.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan serta keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah limbah menjadi produk pertanian, serta menumbuhkan semangat jiwa kewirausahaan dalam mengembangkan dan menunjang perekonomian masyarakat yang ada di Kampung Batu Lubang. Metode yang diterapkan dalam kegiatan pengabdian terdiri dari beberapa tahap kegiatan diantaranya adalah Survei lapangan, tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan serta monitoring dan evaluasi keberhasilan program. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan yang dilakukan, diperoleh data bahwa tingkat pengetahuan pengolahan limbah sagu menjadi pupuk organic meningkat dari 31,43% menjadi 88,57%, tingkat keterampilan pembuatan pupuk organic meningkat dari 28% menjadi 85,14%, tingkat pengetahuan terkait pengolahan lahan dan budidaya tanaman meningkat dari 38,29% menjadi 80,57%, dan tingkat pengetahuan terkait pengembangan sumber daya manusia dalam mendorong pertanian berkelanjutan berbasis ekonomi industry kreatif meningkat dari 28% menjadi 77,14%. Tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pembuatan pupuk kompos secara langsung terkait dengan kemampuan mereka dalam memanfaatkan sumber daya lokal, mengurangi dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan, dan menciptakan peluang ekonomi di sektor industri kreatif. Oleh karena itu, sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan penyuluhan yang lebih baik dalam hal ini dapat menjadi kunci dalam mendukung pertumbuhan perekonomian lokal dan industri kreatif yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

SEMA No. 2 of 2019 which accommodates PERMA No. 3 of 2017 concerning guidelines for trying cases of women dealing with the law makes new legal protection for women seeking justice, including divorced wives. Where the contents of the SEMA and PERMA allow a divorced wife to be sued to ask for her post-divorce rights, one of which is maintenance Iddah and sustenance mut'ah. However, in practice, in several Religious Courts the panels of judges still have differences in the legal considerations used regarding the burden of living Iddah and sustenance mut'ah. As for the focus of this research, namely examining the rights of the wife who filed for divorce and the considerations of the panel of judges regarding the decision of the divorce case, claim No. 575/Pdt.G/2021/PA.Kdr and case No. 97/Pdt.G/2020/PA.Mtp when viewed from SEMA No.2 of 2019. This study uses a type of normative legal research using statutory approaches, case approaches, and comparative approaches in analyzing legal issues. The technique of collecting legal materials in this study was carried out by means of inventorying legal materials, identifying legal discussion, classifying legal materials, systematizing legal materials, and interpreting legal materials. Furthermore, documents in the form of court decisions are analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques using deductive legal reasoning or legal syllogisms. The results of this study can be concluded as follows: First, a wife who in this case is dealing with the law after a divorce, a wife has rights which can be requested from her ex-husband, these rights are contained in KHI 149, namely:Mut'ah, Nakah Iddah, Dowry Owed, Hadhanah fees for children. Second, In the decision of matter No. 575/Pdt.G/2021/PA.Kdr and matter No. 97/Pdt.G/2020/PA.Mtp there is a difference in the warning the decision handed down by the Panel of Judges regarding the imposition of living rights Iddah and sustenance mut'ah. In case decision No. 575/Pdt.G/2021/PA.Kdr, the Panel of Judges decided that the Plaintiff was not entitled to a living Iddah and sustenance mut'ah. Because in the consideration of the panel of judges only referred to KHI. Meanwhile in case No. 97/Pdt.G/2020/PA.Mtp The Panel of Judges decided that the Plaintiff is entitled to these rights. Because in their consideration the Panel of Judges has applied the rules in SEMA No. 2 of 2019.

Abstract

The addition of ameliorant materials into the soil on former post-rock mining land was identified as one of the potential approaches in improving soil quality. This study aims to determine the effect of ameliorant materials on the growth and yield of horticultural crops. The study used a Randomized Group Design with five treatments and three. Plants used as indicator plants used two types of horticultural crops (spinach and pakcoy). The treatments consisted of KS0 (Control), KS1 (compost at a dose of 10 t ha-1 + biofertilizer 5 ml L-1), KS2 (compost at a dose of 15 t ha-1 + biofertilizer 10 ml L-1), KS3 (compost at a dose of 20 t ha-1 + biofertilizer 15 ml L-1), and KS4 (compost at a dose of 25 t ha-1 + biofertilizer 20 ml L-1). The results of the research showed that the application of ameliorant material had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves and wet weight of pakchoy plants, but had no significant effect on plant root length. Treatment with a compost dose of 15 t ha-1 + biofertilizer 10 ml L-1 (KS2) gave the highest results for the growth of Pakcoy plants. The provision of ameliorant had a significant effect on all observation parameters (plant height, number of leaves, wet weight and root length) of spinach plants, where treatment with a compost dose of 20 t ha-1 + biofertilizer 15 ml L-1 (KS3) gave the highest results on growth Spinach plant. These results imply that the ameliorant used can be used as an alternative in improving the quality of former sand mining land. ABSTRAK Penambahan bahan amelioran ke dalam tanah di lahan bekas tambang batuan diidentifikasi sebagai salah satu pendekatan yang berpotensi dalam perbaikan kualitas tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian bahan amelioran terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman hortikultura. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan lima perlakukan dan tiga kelompok. Tanaman yang digunakan sebagai tanaman indikator menggunakan dua jenis tanaman hortikultura (bayam dan pakcoy). Adapun perlakuan yang diberikan terdiri dari Kontrol (KS0), kompos ampas sagu dengan dosis 10 t ha-1 + pupuk hayati 5 ml L-1 (KS1), kompos ampas sagu dengan dosis 15 t ha-1 + pupuk hayati 10 ml L-1 (KS2), kompos ampas sagu dengan dosis 20 t ha-1 + pupuk hayati 15 ml L-1 (KS3), dan kompos ampas sagu dengan dosis 25 t ha-1 + pupuk hayati 20 ml L-1 (KS4). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian bahan amelioran berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan bobot basah tanaman pakcoy, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang akar tanaman. Perlakuan dengan dosis kompos ampas sagu 15 t ha-1 + pupuk hayati 10 ml L-1 (KS2) memberikan hasil tertinggi terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman Pakcoy. Pemberian bahan amelioran berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter pengamatan (tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot basah dan Panjang akar) tanaman bayam, dimana perlakuan dengan dosis kompos ampas sagu 20 t ha-1 + pupuk hayati 15 ml L-1 (KS3) memberikan hasil tertinggi terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman Bayam. Hasil ini memberikan implikasi bahwa bahan amelioran yang digunakan dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif dalam perbaikan kualitas lahan bekas tambang pasir.
