Abstract

The role of teachers in fostering the practice of Islamic teachings is very important, because it not only teaches religious theory, but also directs students to practice Islamic values in everyday life. This study aims to examine the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering the practice of Islamic teachings in students at SDN 2 Jingah, North Barito Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that: 1) Islamic Religious Education teachers play an important role in fostering the practice of Islamic teachings with an integrative approach, which includes teaching religious theory, worship practices, and instilling moral values such as honesty and discipline. Teachers guide students to understand and practice Islamic teachings through habituation methods and effective interactive learning. 2) Supporting factors include adequate facilities, a supportive school environment, and parental involvement. However, inhibiting factors such as limited facilities, time, and lack of teacher professionalism were also found.

Abstract

Background: The role of Islamic religious education teachers in fostering religious moderation among students has become increasingly urgent in today's diverse and dynamic social environment. Objective: This study aims to determine the urgency of the role of Islamic religious education teachers in fostering religious moderation in students at school. Method: The research uses a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive method. It was conducted at SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya in 2024. The research subjects include religious education teachers, principals, subject teachers, and students. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The process of data validation used triangulation. Result: Religious moderation in students can be successfully instilled through collaboration between religious education and subject teachers, supported by the principal and regulations that promote religious moderation. Conclusion: Religious moderation coaching is more effective when there is a cohesive effort between various school stakeholders, including teachers and principals. Effective communication and a supportive school environment are key to promoting religious moderation in students. Contribution: This research contributes to understanding the role of Islamic religious education teachers in fostering religious moderation in schools and emphasises the importance of collaboration and institutional support in achieving this goal.

Abstract

Membangun kebahagian diri perlu dilakukan dalam rangka menanggulangi perilaku menyakiti diri sendiri. Hal ini mengingat kebahagiaan merupakan tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam kehidupan semua orang. Berbagai cara dan usaha dilakukan manusia untuk memperoleh kebahagiaan hidup Oleh sebab itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah self happines sebagai media menanggulangi self harm di kalangan mahasiswa. Jenis penilitian adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, sedangkan subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 5 mahasiswa FTIK IAIN Palangka Raya. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara secara mendalam dan dokumentasi serta teknik pengabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa self happines dapat menganggulangi self harm di kalangan mahasiswa sebesar 84,55% termasuk kategori efektif, hal ini dikarenakan dengan membangun ekspektasi positif, afirmasi diri, emosi yang positif dan penyesuaian diri dapat menanggulangi self harm.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan dialog lintas agama melalui pertunjukan seni keagamaan di Desa Tewang Rangkang. Kegiatan ini berfokus pada penguatan moderasi beragama melalui seni keagamaan. Masalah utama yang diidentifikasi adalah kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap ajaran agama dan kurangnya apresiasi terhadap seni keagamaan. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, peneliti melaksanakan pertunjukan seni keagamaan yang melibatkan partisipasi anak-anak dan remaja dari tiga agama utama di desa: Hindu Kaharingan, Kristen, dan Islam, setelah itu peneliti melakukan kegiatan refleksi untuk mengetahui perubahan yang terjadi setelah kegiatan dilakukan. Metode yang digunakan melalui pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui kegiatan pelatihan keterampilan seni dan kegiatan pertunjukan sebagai sarana dialog lintas agama. Berdasarkan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan, diperoleh hasil bahwa toleransi antar agama dan hubungan sosial di antara masyarakat yang berbeda latar belakang agama di Desa Tewang Rangkang mengalami peningkatan melalui repson positif yang ditunjukkan oleh masyarakat. Umpan balik dari pemerintah desa dan masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini sangat efektif dalam mempromosikan moderasi beragama dan bisa menjadi model bagi kegiatan serupa di masa depan. Hasil pengabdian ini penting karena memperlihatkan bagaimana seni dapat menjadi alat yang kuat untuk mempererat persatuan dan kerukunan antarumat beragama.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the meaning and motives of using the veil by students of an Islamic university in Central Kalimantan. This study is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data collection was carried out from January to October 2020 with 33 informants from 5 Islamic Religious Universities in Central Kalimantan. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentary studies. The data obtained were then analyzed using the qualitative analysis of the Miles and Huberman model, namely data exposure, data reduction, and concluding. Departing from the analysis of the data obtained, it can be concluded that the meaning and motives of PTAI students in Central Kalimantan in using the veil do not stand alone on theological grounds, but also have a relationship with the socio-cultural dimensions that are part of the dynamics of the student's life.Keywords :

Abstract

KKN Nusantara Religious Moderation is a priority program of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia which was initiated through collaboration with various universities in Indonesia, in order to maximize the value of tolerance in society. KKN Nusantara Religious Moderation in 2024 was implemented in Central Kalimantan, precisely in Katingan Regency, by sending 12 groups to different villages with programs that could foster an attitude of tolerance in society. The purpose of KKN NMB is to build a commitment to community understanding related to the values ​​of religious moderation within the framework of Bhineka Tunggal Ika. The KKN NMB community service method uses the PAR Participatory Action Research type or community participation action research in Tewang Rangkang Village. The results of the NMB KKN activities show that the strengthening of the values ​​of religious moderation in the Tarusan Danum Village community on a scale of change is slightly better than before the arrival of the NMB KKN, especially through mutual cooperation actions to enliven the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. As for community participation towards being pro-active again with a commitment in each respective place of worship (Islam, Christianity and Hinduism) willing to carry out and implement the values ​​of religious moderation. Thus, the realization of the priority program of the Ministry of Religion together with PTK Nusantara is able to have a massive and sustainable impact on society

Abstract

This research is motivated by the understanding that students in boarding schools must have a good attitude of discipline, in fact in boarding schools there are still many students who are punished for violating boarding school regulations. The formulation of the problem of this research is how the role of the organization in fostering the discipline of class VIII female santri MTs Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in fostering discipline in class VIII female santri MTs Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya. This research method uses descriptive qualitative method, with the research location at Hidayatul Insan Fii Ta'limiddin Boarding School Palangka Raya. The results showed that the role of the organization's management in providing discipline to the 8th grade boarding students is by giving a warning first to the students who first violate the rules. If the santriwati violates again, a different form of discipline is given than before. Supporting factors in fostering discipline are self-awareness of the importance of discipline by following the rules in the Pondok. While the inhibiting factor of fostering discipline is the lack of self-awareness to obey the rules.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development of contextual-based supplementary Nahwu teaching materials in five pesantren in Central Kalimantan using the Matan al-Ajrumiyyah text. The research uses a descriptive qualitative and quantitative EDDIE model approach. The subjects are seven ustadz. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Experts validated the teaching materials. Qualitative data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's method, involving data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. Quantitative data from questionnaires were analyzed using the mean formula. The analysis revealed a need to shift from traditional to contextual-based learning, leading to the development of supplementary Nahwu teaching materials. The design phase identified the learning experiences and specific skills needed by the students. The designed materials included introductions (apperception), examples, explanations, exercises, conclusions, and reflections. The development phase involved creating supplementary materials to achieve the learning objectives, along with determining strategies, methods, and media. Expert validation showed an average validity score of 3.71, with a validity rate of 92.75%, categorizing it as very valid and usable without revision. Theoretical implications suggest that contextual-based Nahwu learning helps learners understand Nahwu and apply Arabic communication. Educational institutions teaching Nahwu can implement contextual-based learning to facilitate students' application of Nahwu.

Abstract

Penanaman karakter religius sangat diperlukan bagi siswa dalam rangka membentengi mereka dari dampak negatif era globalisasi. Pendidikan karakter religius di SMA IT Al-Madaniyah Samuda Kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah dilakukan melalui berbagai kegiatan keagamaan dengan menggunakan beberapa metode seperti metode keteladanan, pembiasaan, pengawasan dan pengulangan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan berbagai kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam rangka penanaman karakter religius siswa melalui kegiatan keagamaan di SMA IT Al-Madaniyah Samuda Kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman karakter religius di SMA IT Al-Madaniyah Samuda Kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah dilakukan melalui beberapa kegiatan keagamaan yakni shalat dhuha berjamaah, do’a dan zikir pagi, tadarrus al-Qur’an, pembacaan asmaul husna, shalat zuhur dan ashar berjamaah, do’a sore dan shalawat asygil. Karakter religius yang nampak dari siswa dapat dilihat dari beberapa indikator yakni memiliki sifat amal shaleh, beriman dan bertakwa, syukur, sabar, dan teguh hati (istiqomah).
