Abstract

AbstractThis research was aimed to analyze the effect of the implementation of problem based learning towards X IPS students’ Geography achievements of MAN 2 Pontianak. This was an experimental research in form of quasi experimental reseach. The population was 117 students and, the sample were taken from X IPS 1 and X IPS 3 learning class through random sampling technique to determine the experiment and control class. The data of this research were measured through measurement technique with objectivity as the tools of data measuring. The collected mean score and mean difference were calculated by t-test (polled varians) and effect size measuremment to determine the effectiveness of problem based learning implementation. The result of this research shown that the obtained  t-value was greater than the t-table, which was 2,25, while the obtained effect size was 0,52. It can be concluded that there was a significant differences between the students’ mean score, and that Problem Based Learning model had moderate effect towards students’ achievement on hydrosphere dynamic learning material. Therefore, this researcher hoped that this research can contribute as an alternative teaching model for hydrosphere dynamic material on X class students.Keywords : Effectiveness, Problem Based Learning, Learning Achievement.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to know the effect from the use of Number Heads Together (NHT) learning model to students' learning achievement in Geography lesson on the eleventh grade Social class in SMA Negeri 2 Sambas. The learning method that used in this research was Quasi Experimental design, Non-equivalent Control Group design. The participant of this research were eleventh grade Social 4 class that consist of thirty students and eleventh grade Social 2 class that consist of thirty three students. The research instrument that used in this research was multiple choice test that consist of fifty questions. The result showed that there was a difference on the students' learning achievement before and after the treatment. It was proven by the pretest mean score before using the Number Heads Together (NHT) learning model, which was 64,30. The students' posttest mean score that were given the treatment by using Number Heads Together (NHT) learning model had improved, which was 77,10 and the distribution data was normal after conducting the normality test. Based on the research findings, on the paired sample t-test, the test showed that the t-ratio score was higher than t-critical score (2,255 > 1,670), indicated that H0 was rejected and HA was accepted. Based on the calculation of the effect size, the score was 0,542 (medium criteria). This result indicated that there was a medium effect between the use of Number Heads Together (NHT) learning model to students' learning achievement on the eleventh grade Social class in SMA Negeri 2 Sambas in Geography lesson.Keywords : Number Heads Together (NHT) learning model, Learning Achievement

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of instructional video media on student learning outcomes in learning the geography of Indonesian cultural diversity material in class XI IPS State High School 1 Pontianak. The research method used is an experimental method with a form of research Quasi-Experimental Design with the design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this study was all students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak, amounting to 91 people. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Based on the calculation, the average results of the final test of the experimental class are 76.17 and the average final test of the control class is 70.40 The results of the hypothesis test using the t-test were fcount of 2.81 and ftabel of 1.99. Based on fcount > ftable Ha is received. So, the calculation above can be concluded that there are differences in the learning outcomes of Grade XI students of State Senior High School 1 Pontianak who use instructional video media and image media on Indonesian cultural diversity material. Based on the results of the calculation of the effect size obtained ES of 0.76 video media on geography learning provides medium effectiveness on the learning outcomes of class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak. Keywords: Effectiveness, Learning Video Media, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Desa Parit Keladi merupakan desa persiapan dari pemekaran Desa Sungai Kakap. Pemekaran ini didasari oleh perbedaan potensi, yaitu Desa Sungai Kakap memiliki potensi perikanan sedangkan Parit Keladi pertanian. Melihat peluang yang ada, Desa Parit keladi memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan, mengacu dasar hukum tentang desa ini UU no. 6 tahun 2014, hal ini kaitannya dengan peningkatan taraf hidup masyarakat (kesejahteraan). Bertolak pada potensi yang ada dan dilandasi oleh dasar hukum yang kuat sebagai payung peningkatan kesejahtaraan masyarakat, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dianalisis potensi Desa Parit Keladi. Informasi ini akan memudahkan secara manajemen untuk perencanaan jauh ke depan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan terjun ke kancah masyarakat dengan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat potensi fisik yang ada di Desa Parit Keladi terdiri atas Lingkungan geografis, Iklim, Lahan, Air, dan Ternak. Potensi fisik tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pertanian tanaman pangan dan tanaman hortikultura serta budidaya perikanan. Perlu juga dipahami bahwa potensi kelembagaan yang sifatnya organisasi masyarakat serta aparat desa sangat menentukan sebagai bahan analisis untuk kemajuan Desa Parit Keladi. Perpaduan potensi fisik dan non fisik tersebut dapat dikembangkan menjadi potensi yang kuat dan sangat layak dikembangkan di sector wisata dan sector pertanian dengan mina padi nila yang saat ini dikelola oleh masyarakat desa.

Abstract

Multimedia sangat dibutuhkan dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya bagi guru. Peran pendidik merupakan kunci utama dalam pengelolaan proses pembelajaran dikelas. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk mempermudah para guru untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran daring. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan dalam pelatihan pada kegiatan ini meliputi ceramah bervariasi dan latihan atau praktek. Hasil pelatihan bahwa, 1) setelah di berikan materi dan pandangan mengenai pembelajaran abad ke-21 persepsi guru menjadi lebih leluasa memilih model, metode, maupun media yang di terapkan untuk pembelajaran daring di masa sekarang; 2) Sebelum diberikan pelatihan Guru Geografi di Kabupaten Kubu Raya 100% belum pernah mengunakan media Power Point Voice dan Screencast O-Matic; 3) Setelah pelatihan pembelajaran daring yang diberikan, para guru geografi di Kabupaten Kubu Raya merasa bahwa dengan menggunakan Power Point Voice dengan menggunakan iSpring suite dan screencast o-matic dapat mempermudah proses penyampaian materi dalam proses pembelajaran daring. Hasilnya seluruh guru geografi di Kubu Raya setuju bahwa Google Classroom memuaskan dalam penggunaannya guna mendukung proses berjalannya pembelajara daring.

Abstract

Desa Sepadan Kecamatan Batang Lupar Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu memiliki obyek wisata unggulan yaitu obyek wisata kedungkang yang memiliki potensi alam dan budaya. Potensi budaya dalam bentuk rumah adat dayak yaitu rumah betang kedungkang, selain itu juga ada kesenian budaya khas dayak yang masih digunakan pada upacara adat atau penyambutan tamu yang dilakukan hingga saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi serta strategi pengembangan Obyek Wisata Kedungkang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey dengan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Bedasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Desa Sepadan yang memiliki destinasi unggulan Obyek Wisata Kedungkang bisa dikembangkan sebagai desa wisata. Pada destinasi ini, selain wisatawan bisa melakukan aktivitas seni budaya, juga bisa melihat pemandangan alam yang menarik seperti danau sentarum dan bukit kedungkang. Prinsip pariwisata setidaknya memenuhi tiga kriteria, yaitu something to see, something to buy, dan something to do. Pada obyek wisata kedungkang sudah direncanakan untuk mengembangkan prinsip something to see dan something to do. Sehingga perlu pengembangan something to buy. Pada pengembangan prinsip something to buy ini diperlukan inovasi dari masyakarat setempat. Sehingga diperlukan pelatihan dari pemerintah daerah setempat untuk mengembangkan sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki.

Abstract

Compulsory education has become a policy priority of the Indonesian Government. The Indonesian people still face educational problems, such as many dropouts and the discontinuation of education among the population aged 7-15 years. One of the problems of this education appeared in Sambas Regency. In Sepuk Tanjung Village in Sambas District, there is one elementary school in an oil palm plantation area with a decreasing number of students at each grade level. The school has the highest percentage of students in 1 to 4 grades. However, starting from 5 grade  to 6 grade, the number of students has decreased because students in 5 grade and 6 grade have dropped out of school. Therefore, socialization is needed to increase the school participation rate. This school participation rate can increase, of course, starting from within the family. So that parents as guardians of students and teachers will be participants in this activity. This activity resulted in a discussion about the reasons for the low enrollment rates in this area. As well as suggestions for solutions in overcoming transportation access difficulties to higher-level schools based on the number of facilities and population of the area

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes by using a learning model based on Information and Communicaton Technologies (ICT). This research is a Classroom action research qualitative research. This research method consists of: (1) planning (planning); (2) the implementation of the action (action); (3) observation and evaluation (observation and evaluation); (4) reflection (reflection). This research uses descriptive statistical data analysis involving 20 students, including 7 boys and 13 girls and using instruments in the form of student worksheets and interview guidelines for teachers and students. Based on the results of initial observations, it shows that the low learning outcomes obtained by students. This is because teachers have less ability to vary learning models/strategies, where teachers only explain the material to students and then ask questions, but only a few students have an active understanding of concepts/knowledge in learning. Based on the daily test results, before the first cycle of action, only 40% of students with an average score of 60.1 scored 70 from the KKM (Minimum Graduation Criteria), which was 75%. In the first cycle, there was an increase from the initial test which was 40% to 55% of students with an average score of 65.98 who obtained a score of 70, while in the second cycle the test also increased to 85% with an average score of 80.56 who obtained a score 70. The final result of this research is that it can improve Mathematics Learning Outcomes by Applying the ICT-based Creative Problem Solving (CPS) Learning Model.

Abstract

Pemanasan global merupakan fenomena yang ditandai adanya perubahan pola curah hujan dan peningkatan suhu harian rata-rata. Di atmosfer gas rumah kaca dikenal sebagai penyebab utama terjadinya pemanasan global. Lahan gambut sebagai kawasan yang mengandung karbon terrestrial memiliki peran ganda yaitu sebagai penyerap karbon dan sebagai sumber emisi karbon di atmosfer. Aktivitas manusia menjadi salah satu pemicu terjadinya pemanasan global terutama aktivitas di lahan gambut. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Adapun analisis data yang dilakukan meliputi pengolahan dan penyajian data. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan pengujian laboratoium pada sampel tanah yang telah diambil. Hasil dari laboratorium dianalisis kemudian didkripsikan. Pengambilan sampel tanah dilakukan secara acak guna mendapaktakn perbedaan kandungan karbon organik pada tanah gambut. Lokasi pengabilan sampel adalah Desa Rasau Jaya Tiga yang didominasi oleh kandungan karbon tinggi pada tanah gambut pada kedalaman 0-10 cm. Perbedaan kandungan karbon pada lapisan tanah gambut desa Rasau Jaya Tiga dipengaruhi oleh perbedaan penggunaan lahan di lokasi pengambilan sampel.

Abstract

Roadmap itself is a road map and is devoted to mapping the journey of research. So that the research is more structured, can continue to grow, and produce something useful and easy to apply within a period of 5 to 20 years or even more. The research roadmap will help lecturers determine the research direction and then adjust it to the institution's priorities or higher education where they teach. The urgency of preparing the research roadmap above as well as the research roadmap document data for lecturers and undergraduate and masters level study programs within the FKIP Tanjungpura University who need to get refreshments. The Faculty Quality Assurance Unit team held a "Workshop on Preparation of Lecturer Research Roadmaps and Study Programs in the FKIP Environment" at Tanjungpura University in 2022". In this activity, the service team first compiled a roadmap format or research roadmap for the study program lecturers. Then during the implementation of the activity, the service team directed the study program within the FKIP University of Tanjungpura to compile a roadmap or research roadmap for the study program lecturers.
