Abstract

Abstract Today the development of education is increasingly rapid, the world of education is now experiencing a turmoil in improving science and quality of education. The quality of education can be improved by changing the mindset used as a basis for the implementation of learning. This can be used as the development of learning media. However, in its development there are still many teachers who have not been able to develop effective and efficient learning media, especially for geography education. This study uses a type of meta-analysis research. Meta Analysis is a set of quantitative statistical methods because it uses the calculation of numbers and statistics for practical interests. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires online through Google Form. Participants by filling out a questionnaire totaling 45 people consisting of class XII IPS 1, XII IPS 2, and XII IPS 3. Where each participant in the class totaling 15 people. The research questionnaire is filled out by each student based on experience that has been obtained from learning outcomes using visual media and does not use visual media and student learning motivation based on their respective opinions. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted, it can be concluded that visual media provides learning motivation to students with an average motivational questionnaire score of 72.4% with good categories. Abstract

Abstract Demographics are one of the aspects most affected by the dynamics of COVID-19. The increase in the number of deaths to migration trends are aspects that are affected by COVID-19. However, it is not only influenced, demographic aspects can also be a determinant that affects the dynamics of the spread of COVID-19 globally. This study uses a systematic review method that collects relevant journals to be analyzed and studied regarding the causal relationship that arises between demographic trends and the dynamics of COVID-19. The results of the journal analysis show that there is a two-way relationship between demographic trends and the dynamics of COVID-19 which influence each other. Abstract

This research is entitled Analysis of Potential Tourism Objects of the Kupah River Mangrove District, Sungai Kakap District, Kubu Raya Regency. Where Sungai Kupah Village is one of the villages in Kubu Raya Regency which has potential in the field of tourism so that Sungai Kupah Village was developed into a Sungai Kupah Mangrove Tourism Object. The Kupah River Mangrove Tourism Object has entered the top six of the Pesona Indonesia 2021 award and in 2022 it is included in the top 300 of the Indonesian Tourism Village Award. The purpose of this study was to determine the conditions and potential of the Kupah River Mangrove Tourism object. This study uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis. Sources and data in this study were research objects in the Kupah River mangrove tourism object and the data were the results of field observations and from interviews with tourism managers, the Kubu Raya tourism office, and also visitors to the Kupah River mangrove tour. The results of this study indicate that the conditions in the Sungai Kupah Mangrove Tourism Object area from the 3A tourism approach are quite adequate, although there are still a number of things that need to be improved and monitored. In terms of the potential of this Mangrove Tourism object, the potential that is owned is quite a lot of interest, visitors can enjoy synsets and views of the estuary of the river, and also this tourist object can be used as a means of education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes by applying the Teams Games Tournament model in class X at SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak. The research method used is an experiment in the form of Quaisy Experimental Design with a quantitative approach. The data sources in this study were students of class X IIS 3 who totaling 34 students as the experimental class and students of class X IIS 4 which amounted to 33 students as the control class. The technique used is direct observation technique and measurement technique using tools, namely observation sheets and test sheets. After the post test and measurements were carried out, it was found that the average score of the control class students was 32.15 while the average value of the students in the experimental class was 53.32. The results of the T test obtained a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05, so there were differences in learning outcomes. students in the control class and the experimental class. Based on the results of the Effect Size test obtained 2.25, which means that ES 0.70 is high. Based on this research, there are differences in student learning outcomes using the teams games tournament model with students using the inquiry model in geography learning class X Bawari Islamic High School Pontianak.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors and forms of social interaction of class VII B students at SMPN 1 Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya Regency. The research method in this study is qualitative. Research data is sourced from primary and secondary data and collected using observation, interviews, and documentation. In addition, these techniques were assisted by data collection tools in the form of observation guides, interview guides, and documentation guides. The data that has been collected is analyzed starting from the data reduction stage, data display, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results, social interaction in social studies learning in class VII B at SMPN Sungai Raya occurs because there is a good relationship between fellow students as well as students and teachers. In addition, students have a sense of mutual help among each other, have discipline in learning that is supported by a good learning environment, and have good cooperation in learning. Conclusion the factor of social interaction in social studies learning in class VIIB at SMPN 1 Sungai Raya is that students have a desire to learn and prepppare themselves to start learning. Student can create good relationship with teachers and friends, are polite and respectful to teacher and each other. The form of social interaction in social studies learning in class VIIB at SMPN 1 Sungai Raya is in the form of cooperation with class VIIB student at SMPN 1 Sungai Raya with group divisions basedbon seats and the form of task search will be divided.

Abstract

This research is entitled Supporting and Inhibiting Factors for the Development of Lake Laet Tourism Objects in Subah Village, Tayan Hilir District, Sanggau Regency. Lake Laet is a rain-fed lake that has a large expanse of water and has small islands in the middle. This research aims to analyse the factors that support and hinder the development of Lake Laet tourist attraction, where Lake Laet has become a priority area for tourism development in accordance with Sanggau Regency Regional Regulation Number 7 of 2021. This research uses a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The data source in this research is the facilities and infrastructure available at Lake Laet tourist attraction and the data are the results of field observations and the results of interviews with tourists, tourist attraction managers and the Sanggau Regency tourism office. Based on the results of the research, it is concluded that the factors that support the development of Lake Laet tourism include Attractiveness, Facilities, Accessibility and Government Support. The factors that hinder the development of Lake Laet tourism include lack of promotion, simple tourist attraction development programmes, poor entrance roads, lack of professional labour and limited internet networks. Based on the above conclusions, the suggestions given are the need for cooperation between the government in this case the Sanggau Regency tourism office and the private sector on an ongoing basis, evaluating existing development in order to carry out integrated and sustainable facility development

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors influence the development of the Telok Standing mangrove ecotourism location, this development is seen from several factors such as potential factors, management and service, the number of visitors and physical changes. This type of research uses qualitative research. The method used in this qualitative research is descriptive method. Sources of data in this study in the form of observations and interviews with several informants such as the Head of the Tourism Office, Ecotourism Managers, people living around ecotourism and visitors. The data was then taken using direct field observation techniques and in-depth interviews with informants. The data is then collected, managed and analysed. The results show that the potential factor has development every year as well as managers and services as well as physical changes in Telok mangrove ecotourism, but the visitor factor decreases every year due to the covid 19 pandemic.

Abstract

Students' willingness to attend school is greatly affected by the state of the infrastructure, especially the condition of the roads they travel on. Roads play a crucial role in making their journeys to school possible. Ideally, road infrastructure should be both safe and functional. However, at SMA Negeri 1 Kelam Permai, 26 students from the village of Pengkadan Baru face a daily challenge, they must travel on roads that are severely damaged to reach their school. This challenging situation led the researcher to explore how the poor road conditions in Pengkadan Baru affect students’ motivation to attend school. Through quantitative descriptive analysis and involving 26 students from Pengkadan Baru Village as respondents to support this research. The findings show that the road infrastructure in Pengkadan Baru is classified as "Severely Damaged" by the PUPR Department, with a rating of 68.27%. At the same time, students’ motivation to attend SMA Negeri 1 Kelam Permai is categorized as "Very Low," with a score of 78.50%. A Spearman test revealed a significance level of 0.039 (<0.05), indicating a statistically significant relationship between the road conditions and students’ motivation. In conclusion, the severely damaged road infrastructure in Pengkadan Baru has a noticeable impact on the students' desire and ability to attend school regularly at SMA Negeri 1 Kelam Permai.

Abstract

The Konawe Selatan District region is characterized by Karst hills, various soil types, and steep slopes. Functional classification considers the physical and non-physical characteristics of the location to determine its many uses. The map developed by the Regulation of the Agriculture Minister of Indonesia should be checked with the actual condition for the validation process before presenting to the society and Local government. Therefore, this research aimed to determine the compatibility of the area function map result with the actual conditions in Konawe Selatan District, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. The research is a regional survey, collecting data from interviews and observations, and the data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively with percentages. The results show that the compatibility of the Konawe Selatan District area function map is 89.61%, functioning as a guideline in the land use plan. Furthermore, the map could guide potential land-use planning functions such as protected forests, limited production forests, rice fields, and settlements. In conclusion, the map is appropriate for disseminating information and material for land use policies in Konawe Selatan District to stakeholders. Abstract

Seiring berkembangnya zaman, maka teknologi juga semakin berkembang. Perkembangan teknologi mempengaruhi perkembangan media evaluasi pembelajaran, sehingga guru pada abad 21 dituntut untuk kreatif, inovatif, serta dapat mengoptimalkan teknologi dengan baik. Namun, ketika pembelajaran berlangsung pasti ditemukan permasalahan salah satunya yaitu kurangnya motivasi belajar peserta didik yang menyebabkan peserta didik merasa jenuh dan kurang tertarik untuk melakukan evaluasi pembelajaran yang akan membuat tidak maksimalnya hasil evaluasi pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik pada pembelajaran geografi menggunakan media kuis Kahoot. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Quasi Eksperimen Design tipe One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel ditentukan secara purposive sample dengan memilih kelas XI IPS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar tes, lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Menganalisis hasil belsar peserta didik menggunakan statistik deskriptif dengan aplikasi SPSS 26.0 For Windows. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 78,94 yang dimana nilai tersebut berada di atas KKM.
