Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pelaksanaan layanan anak di Dinas Paerpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Jawa Barat, yang mencakup layanan kunjunfan kelompok serta layanan kunjungan mandiri. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pustakawan layanan anak menjadi sumber data utama dalam penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa layanan anak di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Jawa Barat telah berjalan dengan cukup baik, meskipun ada beberapa aspek pelayanan yang masih perlu diperbaiki dan ditingkatkan.

Abstract

Classical religious manuscripts from the Nusantara region, dating from the 17th to the 19th centuries, represent a significant intellectual heritage, yet a comprehensive understanding of the scholarly publication trends and manuscript dissemination patterns within the global academic context remains limited. This study aims to (1) analyze global scholarly publication trends related to 17th-19th century Nusantara classical religious manuscripts, and (2) map the main contributors and collaboration networks in such studies. The research method employed is a quantitative bibliometric analysis of publication data sourced from the Scopus database, focusing on articles published between 1990 and 2024. The analysis of 200 articles reveals that the United States and the United Kingdom are the countries with the largest contributions in terms of publication numbers and citations, with the United States alone garnering over 1,200 citations. Furthermore, this research identifies dominant keywords such as “human,” “religion,” and “history” that frequently appear in the corpus of related articles. In conclusion, this study presents a comprehensive mapping of the landscape and trends in scholarly publications concerning Nusantara classical religious manuscripts, offering a significant contribution to the global understanding and preservation efforts of this valuable intellectual heritage and identifying potential areas for future research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of research on digital libraries in Indonesia from 2013 to 2024 using a bibliometric analysis approach. Using data indexed in Scopus, this study evaluates the trends of scientific publications, the contribution of lead authors, as well as the development of the concept of digital literacy in the context of digital libraries. Bibliometric methods were used to provide greater insight into the direction and evolution of research in this area, as well as to identify emerging patterns in the related literature. The results show that despite the significant growth in the number of publications on digital libraries, the main challenges faced include infrastructure gaps, limited human resources, as well as data security issues that still need serious attention. In addition, despite the rapid development of technology, the unequal distribution of access is an obstacle in expanding the benefits of digital libraries. This research is expected to make a positive contribution to the development of digital literacy policies and practices in Indonesia, as well as encourage increased access to higher quality and relevant information. With these findings, it is also expected to accelerate efforts to improve digital library services, making them more accessible to all levels of society, and strengthening the digital literacy ecosystem in the country.

Abstract

Perpustakaan digital merupakan salah satu bentuk pemanfaatan inovasi teknologi informasi yang sangat penting untuk meningkatkan aksesibilitas informasi di era digital. Tujuan penelitian studi literatur ini untuk meninjau implementasi perpustakaan digital dalam meningkatkan aksesibilitas informasi. Studi ini dilakukan dengan cara menganalisis hasil penelitian dan artikel-artikel yang relevan tentang perpustakaan digital dan aksesibilitas informasi. Dalam kesimpulannya, implementasi perpustakaan digital dapat membantu dalam meningkatkan aksesibilitas informasi dan literasi digital pada masyarakat. Namun, upaya-upaya perlu dilakukan untuk mengatasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi perpustakaan digital. Studi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan perpustakaan digital dan aksesibilitas informasi di Indonesia. Digital Library Innovation in Improving Information Accessibility. Digital library is a form of utilization of information technology innovation that is very important to improve information accessibility in the digital era. This literature study research aims to review the implementation of digital libraries in improving information accessibility. This study analyzed research results and relevant articles on digital libraries and information accessibility. In conclusion, implementing digital libraries can help improve information accessibility and digital literacy in the community. However, efforts must be made to overcome the challenges faced in digital library implementation. This study is expected to contribute to the development of digital libraries and information accessibility in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study explores the role of Jaklitera, a digital library application developed by the Jakarta Provincial Government, in fulfilling the informational needs of urban citizens through online borrowing services. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach supported by narrative observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review, the research investigates how Jaklitera adapts its system design, content provision, and user interface to the expectations of diverse library users. The findings show that Jaklitera not only enhances access to e-books, e-journals, and digital documents but also acts as a catalyst for building a responsive digital literacy ecosystem. However, several challenges remain, including gaps in user satisfaction, limited personalization, digital inequality, lack of interoperability across institutions, and the absence of formal operational standards. The study reveals that the effectiveness of Jaklitera lies in its ability to align technological features with human behavior, social inclusion, and evolving information needs. Theoretical insights drawn from the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Information-Seeking Behavior, and Public Value Theory frame Jaklitera as a public digital space that blends infrastructure with civic engagement. This research contributes to the discourse on library digital transformation by proposing a framework for developing user-centered, adaptive, and socially impactful digital library systems in Indonesia and beyond. Contribution: This study offers actionable recommendations and a conceptual framework for the future development of digital libraries, contributing both to academic literature and practical policy-making in the field of digital information services.

Abstract

Background: Library are one of the important supporting factors in the world of education, both direct education and distance education because they play a role in providing learning resources. School libraries in distance education have roles that must be implemented and maximized so that the continuity of learning does not become difficult. Purpose: This research focuses on the purpose of knowing the role of school libraries in supporting distance education through the analysis of providing access to learning resources, increasing students' literacy interest, and providing digital services. Method: This research uses a narrative literature review method from references related to the topic of the role of school libraries in supporting distance education with the number of main references analyzed as many as six references. Findings: The results show that school libraries have an important role to play in supporting distance education. School libraries need to provide digital learning resources to sustain distance education. In addition, the library plays a role in increasing students' literacy interest through interactive programs and online discussion tools. Services in school libraries also need to be adapted to digital services that can be accessed anytime by learners. Conclusion: School libraries play a crucial role in distance education by providing access to digital learning resources, improving learner literacy, and providing digital services that facilitate the learning process. Future research could focus on the development of inclusive digital infrastructure, collaboration with online platforms, and access solutions in remote areas for education equity.   -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ABSTRAK Peran Perpustakaan Sekolah dalam Mendukung Pendidikan Jarak Jauh: Sebuah Tinjauan Naratif Latar Belakang: Perpustakaan menjadi salah satu faktor penunjang penting dalam dunia pendidikan, baik pendidikan langsung maupun pendidikan jarak jauh karena berperan dalam pengadaan sumber belajar. Perpustakaan sekolah dalam pendidikan jarak jauh memiliki peran-peran yang harus dilaksanakan dan dimaksimalkan agar keberlangsungan pembelajaran tidak menjadi sulit. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran perpustakaan sekolah dalam mendukung pendidikan jarak jauh melalui analisis penyediaan akses sumber belajar, peningkatan minat literasi peserta didik, dan penyediaan layanan digital. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode narrative literature review dari rujukan yang berkaitan dengan topik peran perpustakaan sekolah dalam mendukung pendidikan jarak jauh dengan jumlah rujukan utama yang dianalisis sebanyak enam rujukan. Temuan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan sekolah memiliki peran penting untuk mendukung pendidikan jarak jauh. Perpustakaan sekolah perlu menyediakan sumber belajar digital untuk keberlangsungan pendidikan jarak jauh. Selain itu, perpustakaan ikut berperan dalam meningkatkan minat literasi peserta didik melalui program interaktif dan sarana diskusi online. Layanan di perpustakaan sekolah juga perlu diadaptasikan menjadi layanan digital yang dapat diakses kapan saja oleh peserta didik. Kesimpulan: Perpustakaan sekolah memiliki peran krusial dalam pendidikan jarak jauh melalui penyediaan akses sumber belajar digital, peningkatan literasi peserta didik, dan penyediaan layanan digital yang mempermudah proses pembelajaran. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat berfokus pada pengembangan infrastruktur digital yang inklusif, kolaborasi dengan platform daring, serta solusi akses di daerah terpencil untuk pemerataan pendidikan.  Kata Kunci: Perpustakaan Sekolah; Pendidikan Jarak Jauh; Perpustakaan Digital

Abstract

Latar belakang: Internet of Things (IoT) yang diciptakan oleh Kevin Ashton pada tahun 1999 memiliki peran yang besar dalam konteks bisnis. IoT dapat dilihat menawarkan solusi serta peningkatan yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pada berbagai sektor industri bisnis seperti, pemasaran, kesehatan, keuangan, perbelanjaan, transportasi dan logistik, dan sektor bisnis lainnya. Penerapan IoT pada berbagai sektor bisnis telah menjadi area penelitian yang dinamis dan terus berkembang. Inovasi terkini dalam bidang ini memperlihatkan potensi besar untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, mengoptimalkan pengelolaan sumber daya, dan menciptakan pengalaman pelanggan yang lebih personal. Tujuan: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menggali lebih dalam sejauh mana perkembangan dan dampak penelitian pada bidang penerapan IoT dalam bisnis. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis bibliometrik. Hasil: Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa publikasi ilmiah pada bidang IoT dalam bisnis meningkat cukup pesat dalam rentang waktu tahun 2013 sampai dengan tahun 2022. Namun, publikasi ilmiah pada bidang IoT dalam bisnis juga mengalami penururan dalam rentang waktu tahun 2022 ke tahun 2023. Jurnal IEEE Access menjadi jurnal yang paling produktif mempublikasikan artikel ilmiah pada bidang IoT dalam bisnis sebanyak 106 artikel. Peneliti yang paling produktif berkontribusi pada bidang penelitian IoT dalam bisnis adalah Wang X. dengan publikasi ilmiah sebanyak 24 artikel. Tiongkok menjadi negara yang paling banyak berkontribusi mempublikasikan artikel ilmiah dalam bidang IoT dalam bisnis, diikuti oleh India serta Amerika Serikat, dan Britania Raya. Selain itu, kata yang paling banyak muncul pada penelitian IoT dalam bisnis adalah "internet of things” dengan presentase kemunculan sebesar 24%. Kesimpulan: Dengan memahami tren dan temuan ini, para peneliti dan pengusaha dapat mengidentifikasi peluang untuk inovasi yang lebih besar dan penggunaan IoT yang lebih efektif dalam bisnis. Selain itu, temuan ini dapat membantu pembuat kebijakan mengembangkan strategi untuk mendorong penelitian dan penggunaan teknologi IoT di berbagai sektor bisnis.   Background: The Internet of Things (IoT), which was created by Kevin Ashton in 1999, has a big role in the business context. IoT integration can be seen to offer solutions and improvements tailored to the needs of various business industry sectors such as marketing, health, finance, entertainment, transportation and logistics, and other business sectors. The application of the IoT in various business sectors has become a dynamic and growing research area. Recent innovations in this area show great potential to improve operational efficiency, optimize resource management, and create a more personalized customer experience. Purpose: This study aims to explore further the development and impact of research in the field of applying the IoT in business. Methods: This research uses bibliometric analysis. Results: The results of the analysis show that scientific publications in the field of IoT in business increased quite rapidly in the period from 2013 to 2022. However, scientific publications in the field of IoT in business also experienced a decline in the period from 2022 to 2023. Journal IEEE Access is the most productive journal publishing scientific articles in the field of IoT in business with 106 articles. The researcher who most productively contributed to the field of IoT research in business is Wang X. with scientific publications of 24 articles. China is the country that contributes the most to publishing scientific articles in the field of IoT in business, followed by India, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Apart from that, the word that appears most often in research on the IoT in business is "internet of things" with an appearance percentage of 24%. Conclusion: By understanding these trends and findings, researchers and business owners can identify opportunities for greater innovation and more effective use of the IoT in business. In addition, these findings can help policymakers develop strategies to encourage research and use of IoT technologies across different business sectors.

Abstract

Introduction. Community Reading Space or Taman bacaan masyarakat (TBM) can play a significant role in environmental literacy through literacy programs offered to residents. This study aims to examine the role and stages of environmental literacy in organic waste processing based on eco enzyme and to describe the program development strategy implemented. Data Collection Methods. This study employed a qualitative method with a case study approach at Rumah Baca Jatmika. Data collection was conducted through observations, interviews, and document studies. Four informants and one expert in environmental literacy were selected using purposive sampling. Data Analysis. Data analysis in this study was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results and Discussion. Rumah Baca Jatmika as an agent of change involved in environmental literacy created an eco enzyme based organic waste processing program. The model developed includes stages that the approach, planning, preparation, implementation, evaluation and motivation, and development stages. The program development strategy is carried out by utilizing personal closeness between TBM managers to hold joint activities and provide mutual benefits. Conclusion and Recommendations. The implementation of the eco enzyme production program has a positive impact on changing the attitudes of participants who have begun to sort waste at the household level. The role of volunteers is highly needed to support the program.

Abstract

Introduction. This research aims to determine how literacy activities are implemented in the learning model with nature at SD Alam Bandung. This is also to analyze the role of managers in improving students literacy skills. Data Collection Methods. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The subject of this research were four resource persons. Data Analysis. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results and Discussion. The results of this study show that literacy activities in the learning with nature model by SD Alam Bandung have been implemented by integrating contextual and textual approaches in each cluster. Conclusion. The literacy skills of SD Alam Bandung students, which were previously limited, show the increase in terms of vocabulary in students in the lower cluster, the ability to write with a larger number of middle cluster students, and the ability to compile journals in students in the upper students. The result suggested that the school provide special attention to students with suboptimal literacy skills.

Abstract

The transformation of conventional libraries into digital libraries has resulted in many significant changes, especially in the generation of digital natives to access information. This research aims to analyze the role of digital libraries in supporting the learning process of the digital natives generation, which refers to the Garuda database-indexed literature review. This research uses a narrative literature review method by analyzing various references to find new knowledge. The number of references analyzed in this study amounted to 15 references out of a total of 30 references taken from the Garuda database with a range of years from 2015 to 2024. Researchers used the Garuda database because it has the advantage of easy access to articles and many articles from Indonesia are of high quality and free. The results and discussion show that digital libraries have an important role in supporting the learning process of the digital natives generation. First, digital libraries play a role in providing digital literacy education for digital natives so that the search for information needed is relevant, valid, and can be utilized properly. Second, digital libraries play a role in providing complete, quality, and easily accessible online collections anytime and anywhere. Third, digital libraries play a role in providing responsive services to digital natives such as email, Instagram, and website services. In carrying out this role, librarians who understand digital libraries and can meet the information needs of digital natives are needed.
